If you love reading about near-death experiences, you will love this one.
Aaron's NDE was described as "The most detailed NDE ever recorded."In Emerging From the My Near-death Journey From God to Earth and Back Again , international best-selling author Aaron Thomas Green shares the extraordinary near-death experience that transformed his understanding of life, death, God, the soul, and the purpose of human existence.

Shortly before his sixth birthday, Aaron suddenly struggled to breathe while playing outside. In that moment, his consciousness left his body, and he found himself awakened into a reality far more vivid, natural, and expansive than earthly life. What followed was a profound journey beyond the physical world, one that revealed the soul’s eternal nature, the meaning of free will, the purpose of spiritual growth, and the loving intelligence behind creation.

Aaron experienced a detailed life review, remembered his existence before birth, encountered God as a vast and loving Creator, witnessed the planning of his earthly life, and was shown how choices, relationships, karma, and spiritual lessons shape the soul’s journey across lifetimes.

This book explores powerful questions many seekers carry within

Where do we come from before birth? Why do we choose certain lives, bodies, families, and challenges? What happens between lives? How do our actions affect our spiritual growth? What is the purpose of suffering, faith, forgiveness, and love? And what awaits us when our time on Earth is complete? With honesty, humility, and remarkable detail, Aaron shares not only what he saw, but what he came to that life on Earth is brief, purposeful, and deeply connected to the soul’s eternal expansion.

Emerging From the Light is a compelling account for readers interested in near-death experiences, pre-birth memories, reincarnation, life between lives, soul planning, spiritual growth, and the nature of God.

More than a story about dying, this is a book about how to live with greater love, compassion, integrity, service, forgiveness, self-control, and awareness of the eternal journey we are all on.

A profound and unforgettable near-death journey from God to Earth and back again.

One of the most interesting features of this book about a near-death experience (NDE) is that it also includes past-life experiences and other features not found in other accounts of an NDE. For example, the author describes forgetting the childhood NDE until he was older, so that the knowledge of it didn't reshape his life in unhelpful ways.

His experience of previous lives also gave him a perspective that other NDE experiencers don't report. For example, he describes having lives that led to spiritual progress, then a life in which he made several mistakes that caused him to regress spiritually and having to rebuild that progress.

I think it is worth emphasising a point that the author makes himself, which is that people shouldn't just believe all the points he makes as they are HIS experiences and may not be relevant to other people. That is also a good point for single cases more widely - in qualitative studies, one can never generalise from one person to wider groups of people.

Following that last point, if I was going to recommend one thing that might make it more relevant to others, I would suggest he link his experiences to those of others.

Nevertheless, this is an interesting book that can open up interesting possibilities for further exploration.

What a wonderful experience to have and thank you so much for sharing this precious information with us. I recommend this book to anyone who feels that life is unfair - and to anyone who finds it difficult to forgive or to have compassion with others.

Fascinating and very detailed

Thanks Aaron for sharing your experience and the detailed information about all the different experiences we have in the afterlife. I found the body selection process quite interesting especially the explanation of the features you chose and why and how that linked to your past lives.
