This series is so amazing that I finished three of the books in a span of one and half day. It's so light read that one does not get bored easily. It is filled with action and adventure befitting an MMORPG. The characters are given more backstory and complex emotions. I loved it.
I had this book half way finished for a long time in my library. I had greatly enjoyed the first two, but gradualy lost interest as I was reading the third one. I felt the plot in the thrid one was a bit aimless. The more I read the less I knew where it was going or if it was going anywhere at all. Usualy in these situations, the reader's intersest is sustained by attractive characterization, but The MC started to act in a way that always bores me: acting even more emotionaly naive than usual, and choosing to turn off his brain too often. It was cute in the beginning, but it became a bit stale by the thrid book. I greatly enjoy reading books in this genre, so I forced myself to finish it as the fourth book is now out, and I like many of the elements of this universe. 3 stars for me.
The writing is a bit rough in places. In fact, the first chapter was bad enough that I almost gave up on the story right then and there. Thankfully though, it gets better., and although it ended rather abruptly, overall I found the story to be enjoyable.
Somehow lost the fun throughout this book. The interaction in the group gets more tiresome than fun. The MC stays undecided to take his Companion serious. The companion attacks the other girl in the group and hurts hard. Add the dragon OP to it and nah - last one for me.

While the protagonist still meanders around like a newbie without a sense, the story grew rich, sufficiently branched, and twisted enough to have a sense of progression and objectives to fulfill
