Welcome to Steamy Contemporary Romance with Rylee Rubens—where the men are powerful, protective, filthy rich, and dangerously difficult to resist.

You can expect steamy billionaire romances, irresistible silver foxes, age gaps, forbidden relationships, enemies who’d rather tear each other’s clothes off than admit they’re falling in love, protective alpha heroes, forced proximity, secret relationships, fake marriages, surprise pregnancies, and plenty of happily-ever-afters.

Basically, I write about the men your mother probably warned you about.
Except mine fall desperately in love, for keeps.

I had never read anything by this author, but I definitely will be checking the remainder of this amazing series as well as the author’s other books! The writing style is concise with the story flowing to ensure that you (well, I) read to the very exciting end! Sophia has achieved success as an actress and is looking forward to completing a dangerous and essential stunt. Aware of the process, at the last minute she notices a change and is injured. The studio immediately seems to believe that she is now incapable of continuing. However, she is strong, has fought for her career, and insists that she is fine. She does refuse to continue until she knows exactly what happened and why. As the production company investigates, it soon seems that instead of finding out what or who was at fault, they try to convince her that she is too emotional to continue. She refuses to agree to their plan and contacts her attorney. She soon learns that Phoenix Security has been contracted to make sure that the scene will be safe and that she is protected. Cameron Sterling is the CEO of Phoenix Security, a man of few words, but the words “hit” as he means them to. He eventually believes that there is more, so much more, going on within the film company. Sophia becomes convinced that Cameron’s concern is for her well-being and security as a personal relationship slowly makes her safety even more urgent for Cameron and his company. Loved it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protective, Powerful & Completely Addictive! 🔥❤️

I really enjoyed Sterling Protection! Cameron is exactly the kind of hero I love—powerful, confident, protective, and completely thrown off balance by the one woman he never saw coming. 😍

As the man behind an elite security firm, Cameron is used to being in control of every situation. Then Sophia enters his life and suddenly all those carefully constructed professional boundaries start falling apart. Their chemistry was immediate, and I loved watching Cameron struggle between his protective instincts and his growing feelings for her. ❤️‍🔥

Sophia was a great match for him. She wasn’t simply someone who needed protecting—she challenged Cameron and managed to get past the walls he’d built around himself. The combination of Hollywood glamour, billionaire romance, elite security, danger, and sizzling chemistry kept me turning the pages.

A fantastic start to The Pacific Phoenix Empire! If you love possessive protective heroes, strong heroines, billionaire romance, suspense, and plenty of heat, Cameron and Sophia’s story delivers! 🔥🛡️❤️

Definitely a 5-star read! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Sterling Protection pulled me in right away with its mix of danger, Hollywood intrigue, and intense emotional stakes. Sophia is the kind of heroine I love to root for—strong, vulnerable, and determined to reclaim her life after being controlled by powerful people who underestimated her.

Cameron Sterling makes a fantastic protector-hero: commanding, wounded, and impossible to ignore. The age-gap tension, forced proximity, and slow-burn trust between him and Sophia give the story a compelling romantic pull without losing the suspense that keeps the pages turning.

I especially enjoyed how the personal danger and emotional vulnerability build together, making the romance feel high-stakes in every sense. If you enjoy glamorous romantic suspense with protective heroes, resilient heroines, secrets, danger, and a promise of happily ever after, this is a terrific start to The Pacific Phoenix Empire series. I’m excited to read what comes next!.

This is what a reader expects from romantic suspense. The attraction between the victim and security, the recurring incidents of danger and forced proximity in a safe house.

The detailed description of the opening stunt makes Sophia immediately an empathetic lead. As the reader learns more of her background and how she has been treated one becomes invested in the outcome.

Likewise, Cameron Sterling is introduced with a detailed description of his family life and how hard he worked to build his company making him also someone the reader becomes invested in.

The world building is well described giving the reader insight into the lack of privacy for a Hollywood star. I found myself reading every spare minute to learn the outcome.

I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and caught my attention after the second paragraph. I read it during my free time in two days time. I couldn't put it down and can not wait for to read the next book.

I like how Sophia and Cameron seemed to worked really well together from the get go. I don't want to spoil it for anyone by telling you about the book, but I will say this, I enjoyed reading about Sophia, the accidents, and Cameron wanting to control how things would go with her, but letting Sophia have control.

I have to admit, when I first started Sterling Protection, I wasn't sure it was going to be a book I would really enjoy. But I'm so glad I kept reading!

As the story progressed, Rylee Reubens did a great job developing the characters and drawing me into their lives. The more I got to know them, the more invested I became in their story. Before long, I found myself really enjoying the book and wanting to see how everything would unfold.

I love when a book surprises me like that. What started out as a story I wasn't sure about ended up being one I was very glad I read. The character development made all the difference for me.

This was a wonderful romantic suspense book. It kept my attention from the first page and was hard to put down. I loved how even though both of the main characters were strong-willed, they just clicked. The constant danger Sophia was in and her blooming relationship with Cameron kept me wanting more. I didn't expect the twist at the end and thoroughly enjoyed Sophia and Cameron's happily ever after.

Sterling Protection by Rylee Rubens was a bit different. It was romantic and suspenseful but the story unfolded with a bantering rhythm. I loved Cameron and Sophia and the way they just fit together. I couldn’t figure out who was going after Sophia but I hated them! I couldn’t put it down until I knew Cameron had kept her safe and their HEA was secure.

This storyline was amazing!! Several twists and turns that had you seriously guessing about the Heroine and her Hero!! Cameron and Sophie were very open characters in their communication with each other and outside friends, family, and acquaintances.

This is a new to me author. I will definitely want to read the rest of this series.

While the timeline of the story was a little hard to follow (days vs weeks, etc), the overall storyline and plot flowed well and definitely keeps the reader interested in finding out what happens next.

Sophia is thrust into danger while filming for the studio. In walks Cameron Sterling owner of the protection company that was hired. He wants to control how things go for her but he gives her the control. This couple has good chemistry with him basically glued to her side and their forced proximity in a safe house.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good suspenseful romance.
