He's living on the banks of the Amazon, boxing in bare-knuckled fights. The gods believe he's dead--until Ana finds him. Before becoming a writer, Linsey was an archaeologist who studied shipwrecks in all kinds of water, from the tropics to muddy rivers (and she has a distinct preference for one over the other). After a decade of tromping around in search of old bits of stuff, she settled down to start penning her own adventure novels and is freaking delighted that people seem to like them. Since life is better with a little (or a lot of) magic, she writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance.
What a great series! This book allows you to escape into the magical world of immortals. Plenty of twists and turns that will keep you glued to your e-reader. I couldn’t put it down. The plot is well intertwined with our own history and very well written. The characters have plenty of depth and very sexy. A great read. Looking forward to book 5.
Braving Fate - To have the soul of one bad mamma jamma warrior Queen in the body of a shy, meek, bookish woman fighting for her revenge would be scary and exhilarating. Having to wait on a quest would be frustrating especially with a man that is slowly growing on her. Diana struggles to figure out if she is going crazy or just going through a crazy time in her life until she meets some things that she can not explain then she meets Cadan and she isn't quite sure about him besides the fact he frustrates the hell out of her. Her whole life changes right before her eyes in a very short span of time. Love grows, secrets are discovered, and Diana finds she isn't as shy and meek as she thought she was. Cadan discovers the truth not only about himself but what he thought he knew. Linsey Hall did an excellent job bringing this story to life and sucking me in.
Soulceress - To think I was the last of my species would be heart-wrenching and very lonely, so would having no soul and not really knowing what you are and isolating yourself because of the things you had done in your past. Esha has lived a very lonely life being shunned where ever she went. Having a crush on a man she doesn't think she can ever have no matter what advances she makes on him drives her nuts. Warren has no soul and keeps himself occupied with work and extracurricular activities to keep his mind off of his own personal demons. He admires Esha from afar not wanting to be near her because of what she is. His scars run deep and he doesn't feel he deserves love nor happiness until Esha and he are forced together for a mission that only she can get them to. When he starts having strong feelings for her and then she discovers his secret things start moving toward destruction. This is a story of loss, secrets, love, and tragedy all rolled up into one. Things unravel and collide but pull them closer together as Esha and Warren discover each other and who they truly are. Again, Linsey Hall drew me in and kept me wanting more.
Rogue Soul - This puts a different twist on the God's and Goddess'. Ana and Cam work really well together even while fighting their attraction to each other. Both running from something that they don't completely understand with the God's and Goddess' hot on their trail. Finally, they come together and bring others together to work with them to help fight for what has been hidden and taken away from them all while things are heating up between them. This is the first book I have read in this series and now I know I need to read the rest. Linsey Hall did an excellent job bringing this story to life and sucking me into Ana and Cam's world.
Stolen Fate - I couldn't imagine having a fate and finding out if I don't fulfill it I will go crazy. Fiona is on a mission whether the others agree to it or not just to save her sanity. She finds she has to recruit the help of an imprisoned thief, Ian. She never imagined her heart would get involved let alone that her fate has more consequences than she was aware of. Fiona and Ian find they work well together in more ways than one. Ian has secrets of his own and all he wants is freedom, not expecting to fall for his rescuer. He is the only one that can get Fiona to where she needs to go and has come up with a plan to finally have his freedom but things don't go the way he planned. As with the rest of the books in this series Linsey Hall sucked me into her world and held me there straight from the beginning. I can't wait for more in this series.
I received the individual books for an honest review.

This boxset is filled with the first four amazingly brilliant books in The Mythean Arcana series. A must read series
Braving Fate: This is the first book in a brand new The Mythean Arcana series, and it is quite extraordinary. Linsey Hall has managed to bring the past and the future together in a compelling and wonderful way. Her characters are rich and three dimensional, if they walked past you, you wouldn’t be surprised. Linsey Hill is an author to remember, be prepared to fall in love with the characters she weaves together in a magical and wondrous way. I can’t wait to read the next book in this fantastic series.
Soulceress: This is the second book in the phenomenal The Mythean Arcana series. I loved this book so much. Esha and Warren are fantastic. Esha is a badass, smart mouthed, determined, kind, soulceress who is fed up with being shunned by what she is. Warren is a warrior, sexy as hell, smart, determined, mystery monster. He refuses to admit he’s attracted to Esha, because she will then realize what his biggest secret is. Something he’s determined to never admit to anyone. But when an opportunity comes around that he can’t ignore, and the only person who can help him is Esha, he soon realizes just what he’s been missing, and wonders if he’s ruined his only chance of happiness. To say I loved this book is so mild a word. I adore this book and series so much, and can’t wait to read the next book in this wonderfully brilliant and tantalizing series.
Rogue Soul: This is the third book in the wonderfully brilliant The Mythean Arcana series. It is filled with danger and intrigue, unravelling beautifully before your eyes, and revealing it’s secrets of both the past and present in this astoundingly marvellous story of passion, mystery and an ancient jealousy that can destroy the world and the gods themselves. I adore this series so much.
Stolen Fate: This is the fourth book in this phenomenal series. Granted it is shorter than the others but it contains a world of pleasure between its pages. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. I found Ian and Fiona a wonderfully compelling couple. Fiona’s need to find the book had consumed her life and put everything on hold, while Ian has been trapped in a hell prison for a hundred years with no chance of escape. Fiona’s need for Ian’s help turns into an opportunity like no other, for both of them. I adore this series so much and recommend it to anyone and everyone.
(note) instead of marking Stolen Fate as read, this is posted, plus leaving the others as read to go towards my "2015 challenge." (hey, it's four complete novels, it should count.)
Stolen Fate, I offer 2 stars. I didn't hate it to the point of not being able finish it, but just like the first in the series, I skimmed MOST of the story because it was boring (except for the sex).
Between the four novels, I offer 2.5 stars. I judge harshly, so 2 isn't an "I like it okay." It's more like, "I wouldn't recommend it." If you like erotica, but don't care about the story, this is a perfect collection for your library. If the plot is more important, skip it. That's my advice.
LOTS of repetitive statements, lots of cursing (didn't appeal to me), and just crude. I would call this very low brow at best.
I am not sure if I liked the chemistry between the main characters in this 4th installment. I am still enamored with the universe the writer has created and the species that she used, going very far off the "normal" PNR (ie vampires, werewolves). My curiosity has been picked about Loki now, especially not the "known" trickster self-serving godly villain, that we are aware off, but this one Ms. Hall has brought to life. I just realised my review is only about the 4th book and not overall of the box set. I did leave comments on my progress as i finished each book. Look there for more details. Just remember that the world is awesome! Will I read the next book in the series? Yes, eventually I will. Will I read the author again? Probably.
I have read all of the stories in this boxed set. It's a must read!
Braving Fate A big Hell Yeah, Linsey Hall, on a story exceedingly well done. Diana is a lecturer at a university, working hard to become an assistant professor. She has spent her entire life trying to avoid conflict, "...content to stay at home reading instead of doing." Imagine her surprise when she is suddenly attacked, in her home, by strange creatures and finds something deep within her that she didn't know she was capable of. With her only clue appearing as a tattoo on her wrist, Diana is drawn to Scotland, where Cadan, a Mythean Guardian, appears out of nowhere to save her from what she finds out are demons. Diana is thrust into a university of an entirely different sort, an Immortal university, where she is introduced to a whole new world existing alongside earth. It is frustrating for Diana when no one will tell her anything except that she has been reincarnated to carry out a task. They will not tell her who she was or what she is supposed to do. Indeed, it becomes apparent to Diana that Cadan is actively trying to stop her from finding out. Hmm, not going to work. Cadan has cut off his emotions during his extremely long life, and Diana starts to rock his world. He loved her in her previous life and failed her. Is destiny going to repeat itself? With strong secondary characters and a substantial subplot, the tale woven throughout is excitingly different, as Diana finds the strength within herself to complete what she is supposed to accomplish. The passion between Diana and Cadan is sizzling. The writing is mostly clean and fluid throughout, creating an enthralling story that refused to let me go until I had finished it. Finding out that this was a debut novel, blew my mind. It's got me, almost literally, panting waiting for Warren and Esha's story. If you only read one new series this year, do pick up the Mythean Arcana series. If you love the paranormal, you won't be disappointed. Definitely fangirling on this this author, trust me, she's one to follow, outfreakingstanding.
Soulceress Linsey Hall has created a spellbinding world in the Mythean Arcana series, set against the backdrop of the The Immortal University in Edinburgh, Scotland which is hidden from mortal eyes. The University was created to protect Mytheans and keep them secret from mortals. Warren is the head of the Praesidium, the Mytheans Guardians, who protect Mytheans and mortals alike maintaining law and order. When Warren finds out that the witches are losing control of their prison in the aetherworld and think the barrier will break soon releasing their only prisoner, the evil soulceress, Aurora, he fights his natural inclination to let the barrier drop in order to make killing her easier. The history between Warren and Aurora is something he feels he can never tell anyone about, because then they will know he is a monster without a soul. He brings in Esha, a soulceress working for the Praesidium, to try to strengthen the barrier, without telling her anything about what she is required to do except that her task is to help the witches. Esha, having never met another soulceress, questions this decision, and the ensuing mayhem that results leads us into an intriguing story with enough mystery and suspense to keep you guessing what's going to happen. Esha is used to working on her own, with just her familiar Chairman Meow (love the name), as everyone despises and fears the soulceress for what she can do. As much as she tells herself, and everyone else, she doesn't care, Esha just wants to fit in and have friends. Her only friend is Andrasta, a goddess whom she doesn't get to see very often . She also wants Warren, whose conflicting signals are driving her nuts. As they travel to long deserted, yet still dangerous, soulceress strongholds in search of Aurora, each with different agendas, the passion between Warren and Esha heats up, as they fight their ill-fated attraction. Danger lurks around seemingly every corner and escalates into a final battle, written in such a way that you will not be able to put this book down. I was happy, and surprised, to see the difference between Braving Fate, and Soulceress. Although both warriors had a desire to protect their women, and the women were strong and independent feeling they didn't need protection, the two stories were refreshingly different in their plot and execution. The gripping writing style of Linsey Hall rocks this one, and the curveballs definitely knock it out of the park. I enjoyed Soulceress just as much as I did Braving Fate. I cannot wait to see what she does with Rogue Soul, the third in the series. A "must read" for paranormal fans.
Rogue Soul Another all-consuming story by Linsey Hall. I am loving The Mythean Arcana series and can't wait to see where it goes next. When Andrasta, Celtic Goddess of Victory, feels the stirring of her long, thought-to-be dead love, Camulos, the former God of War, she hotfoots it to the Amazon jungle to search for him. She's had enough of being a goddess in the emotionally deprived Otherworld. Unfortunately, it is not something one is allowed to escape from, and the chase will soon be on, with the other gods intent on dragging her back to the Otherworld where a horrible punishment awaits. The reuniting of Ana and Cam was a treat and, as their back story came out, I was delighted with the "Aha" moments I experienced. Unfortunately for Ana, for her to escape from the Otherworld, she has to kill someone to take her place, and the only someone qualified for the job is Cam. From the jungles of the Amazon to the Immortal University in Edinburgh, we follow Ana and Cam on a journey that leads us to a mystery of immense proportions. With the help of some old friends I was happy to see from the two previous books, the mystery eventually starts to unravel after many a twist. It becomes clear a diabolical plot has been in play for thousands of years, and it's going to take a lot of help to put an end to it and reach a HEA for our couple, if indeed that can even happen under these circumstances. Rogue Soul is an extremely well-written, smooth flowing story, that is stand alone, but, for your enjoyment, I would read it as a series, because you sure don't want to miss the first two. By producing a riveting series where each is substantially different from the previous one, Linsey Hall has created a world you need to turn off your phone for, lock the door on the kids, and simply fall into until the end. I am not ashamed to say I scarfed up Ana and Cam's story like it was cherry cheesecake, pigging out on the whole thing. However, just like cheesecake, I am distraught that I have to wait for the next one.
Stolen Fate Although this is a novella in the Mythean Arcana series, it doesn't read like one. So much action and passion are packed into this story, you feel like you've read a much longer book. To me, this is the sign of an excellent short story or novella. In a bold move, Fiona, an Acquirer, shunned and demoted for not completing her fated task, figures she has nothing to lose and breaks Ian MacKenzie out of prison. Well, the Mythean version of prison anyway, which is rather nasty, as you would expect from an Immortal prison. Ian is a thief who ended up in prison for stealing the very antiquities Fiona holds so very dear, but he is the only one who can get the mysterious Book of Worlds back for Fiona. Knowing it could all backfire on her, Fiona is determined on her course of action. Ian, of course, is just as determined he's not going back to prison, and the Book of Worlds is his key to freedom. These two move forward into an exciting action-packed adventure (oh, did I forget to mention they're not the only ones looking for the book?) trying to recover this artifact. The adventure heats up, and so does the passion for two people who have not been with anyone in a very, very, long time, albeit for different reasons. I loved Ian and Fiona's story and was intrigued on how this one was going to end with an HEA. This is a fast, clean, easy read that does not leave you feeling let down. I have read each book in the series so far and freely admit to being addicted. Each one is a stand-alone story in its own right and will leave you longing for more. (Gifted a copy for independent review)
After being stuck in a reading slump, Linsey Hall has saved the day! I grabbed this box series thinking it was just a 4 book series and I was so happy that they keep continuing on. Her world building is top notch and the tie ins of some of the most magical and wonderfully beautiful places in the world is the icing on the cake. Now let me get to the cake - everyone of her characters instantly crawl into your heart and take your emotions onto a tense and beautiful ride. A perfect amount of well written heat completed with HEAs and the occasional crossed paths of her beautiful characters from previous stories just make you swoon. I can not recommend this series any more. 6 stars out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've thoroughly enjoyed the four stories in this box set and it's been a fabulous ride with it's mixture of magic and romance. The Mythean Arcana series is full of twists and each book just adds another dimension proving just how good the authors imagination really is. Braving Fate Ok now this is something completely different and really surprised this reader. A story that's based on reincarnation and immortal warriors called Mytheans. Although the heroine Diana is American the bulk of this story takes place in Scotland at a very special and dare I say magical university. Diana has always had incredibly realistic and often frightening dreams but recently her nightmares seem to be encroaching on her reality. When she is attacked by a strange and fierce creature that's not human it's as if something long forgotten awakens inside her and she kills the monster. Left reeling and confused Diana is stunned when a tattoo appears on her wrist and as she's a keen student of history she recognises it as a landmark in Edinburgh, Scotland and feels strangely compelled to go there. Cadan is an ancient warrior who has been granted immortality to fight the demons that would destroy life here on Earth. Once he loved a woman with all his heart but he watched as her life ebbed out of her. That woman was Boudica the queen of the Iceni and Cadan tried so hard to protect her but now lives with the guilt of knowing she felt betrayed by him. When Diana appears it's clear that she carries the soul of the long dead Celtic queen but why now has she finally been reborn? There's something happening in the Underworld and only with Diana's help can the balance be maintained but Caden will do all he can to protect his resurrected lover whether she wants it or not! Soulceress This is the second book in this simply fabulous series featuring immortals known as Mytheans living in Scotland. In Edinburgh lies the Immortal university where a safe haven is offered to those who do no harm but it also houses the Praesidium who police the Mytheans and at the head of that is Warren. Warren is no ordinary man though and has a secret that he has kept for over three hundred years but his mortal enemy is in danger of escaping from her prison and so it's vital he gets help before it's too late. Esha is a Soulceress with the power to literally syphon off the power of others. She has spent her life despised and reviled but has finally found her place as a mercenary hunting rogue demons for the Praesidium. She yearns for acceptance but after so long feeling like a pariah has little hope of that and so has toughened up her image but she still can't quite stop the attraction she feels for Warren. When he sends her to help the witches with a spell Esha discovers that she is not the only Soulceress but nothing is ever simple or straightforward in the Mytheans world and as secrets are revealed danger comes creeping ever closer! Rogue Soul I've really taken to this series with it's mixture of Celtic deities, magic and romance and have to admit that the character of Ana Goddess of War is one of my favourites. She didn't start out as a Goddess though and achieved that unique position by murdering Cam the previous God of War with the one thing that could kill him, an arrow of his own making . Now she has discovered that Cam didn't completely die and instead has been hiding out whilst magically hidden in the mortal realm. Ana wants nothing more than to be human again and live in the sun but her fellow Gods and Goddesses have other ideas and want her to remain in the Underworld. For over two thousand years Cam has lived amongst the humans and now the woman who ended his previous life wants his help. What is a guy to do? Ana tried to kill him and now it seems she wants him to do the same to her but Cam isn't the same man he once was and has come a long way in two thousand yeas. There's unfinished business between them of that there is no doubt but treachery is riding fast on their heels. Once decisions were clear cut and easy but time has changed this couple and as they struggle to elude the dangerous forces hunting for them they learn so much more about each other . Stolen Fate I'm really enjoying this series with it's unique spin on Gods, Magic and Demons so I was a little disappointed that this was quite a short addition. That having being said the action starts very quickly as the main characters are introduced and right from the start the plot had me gripped. Ian is a man with special talents that unfortunately have led to him bring imprisoned but Fiona has a use for Ian and breaks him out of prison. Fiona is destined to live up to her fate and find the missing Book of Worlds but so far she has drawn a huge blank and her subconscious is slowly taking over and stealing her sanity. She has found Ian a thief with the ability to get through magical enchantments but has no idea the secrets that Ian hides. Fiona needs to find the missing book to hang on to her sanity but it's soon apparent that more is at play and they are not alone in hunting for the Book of Worlds . Can Fiona and Ian find it before unseen forces threaten the fate of the world? I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for an honest review
Definitely adults only. I enjoyed Linsey’s style and precision. Probably just me, but when I read, I come to a screeching halt at every error. The English language is a beautiful thing. Linsey’s writing flows.
Top of my list of great fantasy romance. I loved how each book was a different set of love interest and they built on each other. But just a little so you can read them alone or take a break between books. So fun.
Took some getting used to the different way of writing. I’m so used to the first person type that anything else feels strange. But the stories are great and kept me hooked. I recommend this series for sure if you like the paranormal
Wonderful development of characters, worlds, adventures, ideas for a page turning read. The details of everything made the entire series such a joyous journey.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review as an independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock.
This box set contains the first four books in The Mythean Arcana series. Each book can be read as a standalone. But the characters do cross over and for full enjoyment they are best read in order.
Book 1- Braving Fate
Diana has been having dreams her entire life and instead of fading away they are becoming more detailed and vivid. Being attacked in her home one night by monsters. Diana fought them off with skills she didn't know she had. Deciding she needed to find out what was going on she travels to Edinburgh Scotland. Cadan is assigned to protect the reincarnated female warrior Boudica. A women he once loved. Fighting side by side, old passions and feelings become new.
I loved these two characters. Between the flash backs and the here and now. They had been through and were going through so much. Then they had this pull that bought them back together. Diana was a strong women and she wasn't just going to meekly follow Cadan. Cadan was making the same mistakes he had made in the past and still he wondered why he was getting the same results.
Book 2-Soulceress
You are introduced to Warren and Esha in the first book. Esha was a soulceress , a person that received their magical power by draining it from others. She has never fit in anywhere and being part of the university is the first time in hundreds of years Esha has been a team player. When the soulceress Aurora, who Warren had given his soul to is breaking out of prison. He enlists the help of Esha. While he wants to hate her for what he is, she instead finds himself attracted to her.
Talk about a twisted storyline. Esha is so used to being an outcast she figures she doesn't stand a chance with Warren. Warren trying to fight his attraction to Esha, hurts her feelings every chance he gets to try and make her keep her distance. As the danger and suspense build they both find themselves unable to keep their distance.
Book 3- Rogue Soul
Andrasta is the goddess of victory. Back when she as mortal, she was tired of her brothers not letting her use a sword. She practiced with her bow until she caught the attention of Camulos the god of war. He was drawn to her but as her skill equaled his. He was sent to kill her but finds himself unable to do it. Instead she thinks she has killed him and she ends up taking his place with the gods. Tired of being a god and wanting to return to the mortal realm she seeks out Camulos who is still alive and tries to get him to take her place again. Camulos has no interest in returning to the gods.
Andrasta and Camulos now need to work together and find a solution to their problem. Out of the first three books. I found these two characters more passionate and the attraction stronger then on any of the other books. You find yourself quickly turning the pages and just hoping they can find a answer that allows them to live the lives they want and still have each other.
Book 4- Stolen Fate
Fiona a Mythean needs to find the book of the worlds in order to maintain her position in the university. To do it she needs the help of Ian Mackenzie. Ian has been in prison for over a hundred years for stealing artifacts. They are both willing to use the other, Fiona to find the book and complete her fate, and Ian to escape and never go back to that hell hole.
As feelings start getting in the way of their end game. They find it hard to trust each other. This was my least favorite book, but it was good all the same. It just seemed rushed at times. AS this book ends it sets you up for the next book in the series, Logan's story.
The great thing about this book is that there is a whole new range of supernaturals, something beyond your regular werewolves & vampires. Covering a variety of mythological characters we have the greek underworld, harpies, celtic goddesses, soulceresses who gain their power from the souls of beings and walk the aether between dimensions, Jinns, millennia old immortal guardians and reincarnated souls to name a few. A new series to whet the appetites of all supernatural junkies.
2. Soulceress - 4 stars
Yes! Warren has finally given in to Esha. Why the heck did he take so long. Didn't he realize he's way better off with her in his life. Both characters are mistrustful and stubborn as mules, so alike and yet so different. They are loggerheads with each other until they realize that they were meant to be together. Though there are references to characters in the first book, they are merely supportive in nature. Esha and Warren have this book all to themselves so the story is independent of the first book and can be read as a standalone.
3. Rogue Soul - 4 stars
Andrasta, Celtic goddess of victory and Camulos, Celtic god of war. Finally we see what all the fuss is about, since this conflict has been referred to from the first book. Turns out there was never any conflict between them. They were both victims of circumstance, their fates in the hands of every puppeteer but themselves. The reincarnation theme is once again in play but the plot is very different from book 1 where the female lead was also reincarnated to fulfill her fate.
Mythology has always been of interest to me but this series is my first insight into Celtic mythology. I especially enjoyed reading the afterword, which was quite informative on the subject.
4. Stolen Fate - 4 stars
Of the 4 books in this series, I think this one is my favorite. Fiona and Ian's attraction is instant, each recognizing kinship in the other, whereas the leads in the other 3 books all had history together. Even though they are the same species, their backgrounds and upbringing are poles apart and they come together for their own singular purposes, eventually their focus becomes of one mind, each willing to sacrifice themselves for the other. Linsey Hall's writing too has progressed and matured with each release, this being her debut series.
5. Fate Undone - 4 stars
As all you Thor addicts know, Loki is Thor's nemesis, evil, conniving, manipulative and vengeful. But Linsey Hall's Loki is the complete opposite, Sure he's a bit self absorbed, even a little self righteous, but his heart is in the right place. He is the god who must restore balance to the havoc caused by the arrogance of the other gods, He is the god who must teach the others a lesson in humility. So when one of his "lessons" goes awry and he is sentenced to be punished for eternity, he finds himself being whisked away to safety by Sigyn, the woman he loves, the woman who has now brought the wrath of the gods, including her own mother's, upon her head. Now they have been banished from Asgard and must face an eternity on Midgard, away from each other because Loki has turned Sigyn away, admonishing her for her foolishness.
Centuries later, in spite of new names and new identities, their paths cross once again and feelings once denied rise to the surface. This time he is not letting her go but first he must fulfill his quest otherwise all the gods including Sigyn who is a demigod, will be lost forever.
Thank you to the author for allowing me to read and review this wonderful collection of paranormal romances.
Braving Fate (1)
I have to say this book drew me in right from the beginning and set up future books of the series with seamless ease throughout the story. I believe this author has a hook in her Mythean Arcana that is located in Ediburgh and headquartered at the Mythean University.
With the reincarnation of an ancient female warrior, an immortal Mythean guardian, friends in need, puzzles to be untangled, plenty of historical references, ancient gods and goddesses, paranormal individuals with abilities I haven’t seen in books before and even more…this is a book with everything. Everything also includes love that is, ancient, new, hinted at for future books and often steamy.
This is a book I would recommend to anyone that would like a well written story with some Celtic, Roman and mythological mention with the interpretation and creativity brought to them by an interesting new to me author. I am definitely interested in reading more of this series!
Oh…and the cat in the story…Chairman Meow…what a special creature he and his human are!
Soulceress (2)
I thoroughly enjoyed book one and liked book two almost as much. Both are stand alone novels with a common link.
This is the story of Esha and Warren. One has been without a soul for centuries and the other finds power from stealing a bit of energy from the souls she is near. There is powerful attraction between Esha and Warren and plenty of steam to read about. There are mysteries to unravel, evil to deal with and a love story that unwinds throughout the process of the story’s unfolding. The story takes place in real and not quite so real places, too. This is a story for anyone who enjoys paranormal romances with strong characters.
Rogue Soul (3)
Ana and Cam have history…a LONG time ago one took the seat of the other in the pantheon of Celtic gods. Two thousand years later one seeks out the other - tired of the job and life she was forced to live. Will they find a solution that will see them both happy in the end and if so, how will it all come to pass? This story has druids and nymphs and witches and immortals and all you might expect and them some in a paranormal story such as this…and as book three in the Mythaean Arcana series.
Stolen Fate (4)
Book four in the Mythean Arcana is a bit shorter but no less exciting. Ian, an immortal is taken from prison by Fiona to help find The Book of Worlds. Having been in prison for a century Ian is more than ready to be out and Fiona has a mission to accomplish that can only be achieved with Ian’s help. The story is intense with romance, fighting, good and evil and a seemingly not so likely happily ever after.
I read all of this series and it was amazing. Here are my reviews on the individual books Braving Fate: I can't believe it's over!!! An amazing book with an awesome set of strong characters. I love the way they are introduced and how Diana finds out about herself and her past. Cadan, Warran and Esha all had so much character and presence you are pushing for them thru the entire book and feeling their pain too. Fun and breath taking and energetic and just a great read. Now I have to read the rest of the series because this is just too good to pass up! I am soo glad I won this book because I would have missed some wonderful writing. Well Done!
Soulceress: A stolen soul, a crazy sister, a man who drives you crazy, all of that and more. This next book in the series finally focuses on the relationship of Warren who is a loner and hiding his true self from all of those around him. Then there is Esha who has no ties to anyone because of being a Soulceress. What do they have in common?? You have to read this and join in on the journey! Fun, crazy and full of breath stealing moments. Great read
Rogue Soul: This series of books are off the chain. As you go thru each book you get to take part of the developing of a love story. The characters all have their flaws and it's so much fun watching them grow. I love how the writer takes you through their twists and turns and prepares you for the next book in the series. Here you will enjoy what started in book one and tells you Anna's story. You can't stop you have to finish the series. Great fun and oh crap moments.
Stolen Fate: A jail break, a historical artifact, the threat of gods causing humans to war it's all in here and more. The excitement starts on the first page and stops on the last page. Fiona starts this to keep her sanity and Ian joins in to get out of an immortal prison. Lots of laughter and breath catching moments.
Fate Undone: I had the opportunity to read this before its release and I loved it. Okay I loved the entire series but this one is the one where until the last page there was no way of knowing the outcome. A God who has been kicked out for killing another God and the demi-god who shared his fate but was not allowed to share his life. A great journey and an awesome read.
Master of Fate: I can't believe its over!!!!! Now this is how you write a series. Going from one book to the next and still understanding how it all connects. With Aurora and Felix we are taken back in time to experience their story and boy is it a story to be shared. This 6th book of the series will have you hook line and sinker!
