This is a very good, basic vegan cookbook full of delicious-sounding recipes. I like the fact that I could almost cook straight through this book as the recipes are varied enough not to create boredom in meal choices.

Pretty much a niche audience. I mean, which of us who is not a young single doesn't know how to make coleslaw (which does not need any adaptation for vegans)? But it sure would make a good 'apartment warming' gift for a favorite nephew. Assuming they live where they have access to a good supermarket (one recipe each for miso and for nutritional yeast, for example).

I love the idea of making my own sodium free 'V8' and wonder why I've never thought of it before.
I have heard of using lettuce instead of tortillas for wraps and don't know why I needed this reminder, but thanks!
The Pad Thai recipe looks good and doesn't even have any egg or substitute. It does have tamari, though.
I really want to try the "Golden Grains with Peas & Cashews."

This book contains some great and simple vegan recipes for young adults or others who are new to the vegan lifestyle. I marked off many recipes that I am looking forward to trying.
