I'm Reine Ruin—author of dark romance, horror, and romantasy where monsters love harder than heroes, villains steal hearts, and happily ever afters are earned through blood, obsession, and just a little bit of mayhem.
Outside of the chaos, I'm a 31-year-old single mom to an incredible son, currently working toward my Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. When I'm not creating morally corrupt love interests or dreaming up new worlds, you'll usually find me curled up with a dark romance, binging TV, or disappearing into a playlist that's probably louder than it should be.

A good, quick mythical Greek Gods inspired read. The story line was cute and good, but i felt there was a lot of repetition in the chapters. A chapter would end and the next chapters start was the exact same thing, but in the other persons point of view. Which made an already short read just seem shorter.
Dagon is the cursed son of Leviathan, God of the Abyss & Ocean. His curse has turned him from human form to a fish like creature with horns, scales & claws that everyone fears.
Arielle is the half god half mortal daughter of Ares, ignored and made to feel less than all her life. Especially next to her sister, Aria, who is not half mortal. When it’s decided that a daughter of Ares must marry Dagon, Ares chooses Arielle, sacrificing the daughter he never wanted.
Seeing if Arielle will survive Dagon and break the curse or if the curse & Dagon will break Arielle instead was good. I feel if the story would have been longer, and not so repetitive, it could have been a lot better though.

There's nothing like going to your best friends house on a Friday and her asking if you would read a book she wrote that night so she can release it on Sunday.
Like with the previous book in the Monsryths Domayin book, Arielle is sent to marry Dagon, who is a monstrous beast that is caged to live in a dilapidated castle under the sea, in place of her sister (the orginal intended bride). Along the way Arielle and even Dagon realize that her getting sent instead of her sister was a blessing in disguise.
If you love the random Reel Short (or other vertical drama short video apps like it) ads that suck you in, this story is for you. Reine wrote this for her PA who like the rest of us got sucked into one and wanted a book similar to it.

I’m going to need at least 17 more books like this asap.
Firstly, I love anything having to do with Greek gods. Secondly, I especially love when books make me want to punch, said God’s in the face lol. I absolutely loved this book so much. Arielle and Dagon are from two different worlds yet they couldn’t be more alike. One living in sorrow, the other in rage. Together, they surge up and it couldn’t make me happier.

Miss MA'AM...
I absolutely ADORED this book SO freaking much!! Dagon is EVERYTHING, OH MY GOD. This AMAZING author knows me too well as this book hit home in a LOT of areas. It was the BEST book I have read so far this year! It definitely deserves 5 stars just like her other books!! <3

I loved the concept of her going into this marriage thinking it was going to turn out one way and it was the opposite.
The FMC and MMC were wonderful together. I got phantom of the opera meets beauty and the beast vibes but make it underwater.
Fantastic read. Highly recommend.
