This wasn't a good book. Great for learning French vocab but not for reading. The characters were inconsistent--Oscar Tenon was supposed to be unathletic but then scales a freaking building? The plot events were too convenient, especially with the ease Asafar had in finding all his information. Speaking of him, Asafar should have been the main character since I found him far more engaging than Oscar.
This book just wasn't written very well, but I do think it helped me with my French.

I learned a lot of vocabulary, which is why I read this book. And also it was for class. It wasn't terrible but I wouldn't read it for the mystery. Chapters are short, about 3-4 pages usually. About 21 chapters.

Mmmm..

What a letdown of an ending. Great practice for my French learning but I'm disappointed.

Idk why everyone hates this, I loved this book. I thought it was perfect for lower-intermediate learners. Although the ending wasn't as satisfying as it could've been, I loved the journey and I thought Oscar Tenon and Asafar were great characters.

I had to read this book for my French class.
I didn’t like it at all! No emotions were shown, even though someone died, and it was so boring!
