“I’m going back to Wildbrook Hollow—where wildflowers grow, whiskey is shared, and cowboys love with all their hearts. Back where I belong.”
Wildflowers & Whiskey was such an unexpected read for me. I anticipated a lighthearted, cowboy romance with a few serious plot inclusions. This story came through with that expectation, and gave me so much more. Although romantic love is a primary theme in this book (and this is a spicy good time - chefs kiss!), this story holds space for love on every platform: romance, friendship, community, self-love. There are so many deep, impactful messages in this book, and each one was woven into the pages with intention, creating a story that was impossible for me to look away from.
Maeve - hilarious , driven, and easy to love - is on a self-discovery journey, traveling around the world looking for a safe space to land that feels like home.
Colt - sweet, thoughtful, and loving - struggles with his mental health, and he has to discover who he is after spending a lifetime feeling like he is both too much and not enough.
Wade - grumpy, steadfast, and the embodiment of “Cowboy Batman” - has spent most of his life showing up for others and bearing the weight of buried family secrets, while depriving himself of anything he truly wants.
This book explores the complexities of how family secrets can build walls in the wrong places and tear them down when least expected. It shows the importance of knowing where you come from in order to understand who you are, and ultimately choose who you want to be. It demonstrates that family can be found outside of blood, men can be vulnerable without sacrificing their masculinity, and age doesn’t have to be an obstacle in love when your soul speaks to another’s. Healing is a messy, long process that takes hard work, but it is possible.
I highly recommend this book for those who crave stories that make you feel. Stories that make you laugh, overheat, and cry. Stories that explore trauma, healing, and love beyond just the romantic variety. This book left me sated with the flavor hope remaining, and I loved every page.

This was a be true to yourself, make mistakes and LIVE book. Be kind to yourself, communicate and fuck around with single dads who truly are the kindest souls at heart,
Maeve is so relatable through her emotions, her out bursts, her light up the room personality and you can’t help but love her. Damn I think if I was on the ranch I’d want to jump her bones too.
Colt is the golden retriever with issues that he struggles with every day but it doesn’t make him any less of a loveable rogue. I loved how T.Nolan included BPD into his character and in my opinion wrote it so well and conscientiously to people with BPD.
Wade maybe a grump cowboy but honestly it just takes the right person for your spark to come back and I mean he can devour me any time he wants.
The side characters of Mrs. Mae, Iris and the ranch hands honestly only add to this story with their little quirks and banter and really pull the whole book together.
The relationships through this book go through some serious tests and challenges and the plot was not lost through the spice at all, it was beautifully balanced and written. The way that truths were revealed and the fall out hand me close to tears but the bit that finally broke me? ‘Go get her dad’
I just want to be a woman living among the wildflowers and whiskey.

what a debut.
my girl wrote a book!! not only did she write one, she wrote a bloody good one too.
Wildflowers & Whiskey is a love story to personal growth, it’s deeply emotional, sexy and heart achingly beautiful.
Our FMC Maeve is forever seeking the place that feels like ‘home’ so on a whim she signs up to a ranch experience programme in Texas, so flies from London on her next adventure. What she wasn’t anticipating was finding her home within the ranch.
She finds friendship, comfort and happiness in Colt, the golden boy cowboy who has demons he’s working through.
She then finds Wade, the broody, grumpy ranch owner who is now her boss… and Colts father. Their chemistry is palpable, is undeniable even though they try to deny it. She gets under his skin, tests him and gives him a reason to smile again after so long, and having so much on his shoulders.
A moment for Wade pls … the gc is non stop screaming for Daddy Wade, the mouth on this man. He’s caring, reads her books ;)) and so very thoughtful.
The found family, and our 3 POVs have my whole heart, they’re flawed, complex and human. This was such a joy to read i could not put this down.

what a debut! I loved the three different POVs it added so much more depth to the story, daddy wade…the man you are 😮💨 all of the characters felt so real and human with their flaws and mental health. Talking about mental health, I loved that men’s mental health played a big part in this too! I also nearly teared up a few times in this 🥹And the spice was HOT 🥵

There are two types of cowboy romances: the ones that make you think, "That was nice," and the ones that have you contemplating a move to a ranch despite the fact you'd last about three minutes.
Wildflowers and Whiskey is definitely the latter.
Maeve is such a stellar FMC, loved everything about her. She’s enjoyable, funny, feisty, bold, and unmistakably British! With some of her phrases and her attitude:) she’s also quite partial to a spicy cowboy romance book herself, and who can blame her.
Colt is the lovable golden retriever type. So much love to give out but never feels like he’s enough
And Wade… Cowboy Batman. Grumpy as hell. The older guy, who just needs the right person to get him to finally open up, help him let off some steam, and maybe, just maybe, sit on his face from time to time
What stood out most to me was how authentic the characters felt. The relationships, romantic, platonic and family ones, had so much heart that it was impossible not to become invested. They felt like real people with real struggles, making you smile with every emotional high, and every emotional struggle hit that little bit harder.
T. Nolan also deserves a lot of praise for her portrayal of mental health. It's handled with compassion and honesty, and I loved seeing therapy represented as something genuinely positive. It added so much depth to the story without ever feeling forced.
The writing flows effortlessly. An easy read but packed with so much extra. It never felt like a chore to read. Or like I was just reading to get done. Every time I picked it back up to read more I was annoyed when I had to stop.
Of course, this wouldn't be a cowboy romance without plenty of passion. The secret romance, the stolen moments, and the constant risk of getting caught made the chemistry between Maeve and Wade impossible not to enjoy. And yes... the spice absolutely delivers. The fact this grumpy bastard sneakily reads her spicy books to learn what she’s into…. Bravo sir, well played! There's one particular scene where Wade almost, errrm… drowns, that had me raising my eyebrows and my heart rate!
Heartfelt, funny, emotional and smoulderingly addictive (don’t think I’ve ever used smoulderingly before) Wildflowers and Whiskey is everything I wanted from a cowboy romance with a little bit extra for good measure. And a great message to everyone to speak if you’re struggling with things, don’t suffer in silence. A brilliant debut for T. Nolan, and looking forward to what’s next…. Secretly hoping it’s about Bryan

‘Wildflowers & Whiskey’... Oh my, where do I start? I am lost for words!
I’m most impressed by the amount of mental health representation in the book, not only is there mental heath representation but it’s mainly on men’s mental health which is such an incredibly important subject to speak about. Men tend to lock away their emotions and not realise that it’s okay to not be okay but this read highlights the highs and lows of mental health specifically focused on Borderline Personality Disorder which can unfortunately be villainised but this portrayal of BPD is written with such care and is based on personal experience and to me that’s astounding. I also picked on that where BPD is the main mental health condition mentioned, neurodiversity and trauma are mentioned and which are also portrayed fantastically.
The therapy sessions that Colt attends were the parts of the chapters that brought out my emotions because as you all probably know by now, I’m an emotional girlie! I love how these are written, they are heartwarming for me.
Maeve, Colt and Wade are such a fabulous bunch of characters, all of them are fighting their own battles, they all have trauma to tackle and they all show tremendous support with each other! I love how Maeve is feisty, she put others before herself, she has a one woman mission and she knows she wants to discover herself, I love the friendship she forms with Naomi and I love Maeve’s bond with Iris! Most of all the bond she forms with Colt and Wade (no spoilers) were beautiful!
Colt and Wade made me proud, they are both stubborn, they are both scarred by the past. Colt made me proud by putting in the effort in his therapy and taking the advice, it took him a while but he did it and it’s so much bravery and courage. Wade made me proud by facing his issues head on, coming head to head with the truth and doing his best to mend friendships/relationships as he had shut himself away. These two characters had the most change and growth and it’s so satisfying to see them both come out of the other side!
There is a lot more I could write about ‘Wildflowers & Whiskey’ however unfortunately I need to wrap this up otherwise this will be a full essay! As a whole, this book has my whole heart, it’ll stay in my head for months. From the moment I started reading I was immediately drawn in, I was engaged and hooked. I read this book in a day! I enjoyed seeing the mini graphics, such as Maeve's application and the text messages! This is the cowboy romance I needed after reading so much fantasy the past few months!
If you are a cowboy romance lover then what are you waiting for? Go and pick up this book!!!

i loved every second of this book. it was funny, it made me emotional, it was spicy - what more could you want? i really resonated with a lot of these characters on different levels, and i really think that's the sign of great characterisations - they felt really.

i loved every second of this book. it was funny, it made me emotional, it was spicy - what more could you want? i really resonated with a lot of these characters on different levels, and i really think that's the sign of great characterisations - they felt really.

I didn’t know when I signed up for this book that it would have BPD rep in it :,) as soon as I read that I had a feeling this book would hit me hard and make me feel very seen. Fuck it definitely did that. Adore both dedications and the playlist! 🎶 still can’t believe this is a debut novel, it’s written so beautifully! A cowgirl who loves her e-reader and reads steamy cowboy romances whilst helping out on the ranch is something I didn’t know I needed in my life until now!

This was a cosy country vibes on a ranch where Wade has been weighed down by secrets he’s kept to protect the ones person he loves but it’s pushed them further apart. So when his son colt suggest a work program Maeve Londoner world crashes with country Texas.
Maeve has been a wanderlust soul since she had to leave her home due to her mums troubles. She’s lost and never found somewhere she belongs. I loved seeing Maeve find her place that she belongs and can finally form bonds with those in her surroundings. She develops such a genuine friendship with Colt and the sizzling attraction to wade. The spice was off the charts with a little rope play that was wholly enjoyable along with the push pull they have.
Colt has his own mental struggles which is prevalent as the book continues and Wade really does everything he can to support him. Wade is the secret carer and protector and for decades put everyone else first and I do adore him a little bit in these moments that get unveiled.
I’d have loved to see more of the actual relationship development between Wade and Maeve and not just the spice but I really enjoyed this read.

I received a copy of this as an ARC from Whimsy Words PR.
I knew going in to this book it was going to be a cowboy romance but I did not know I would end up loving it as much as I did.
Maeve, Wade and Colt were all excellent characters in their own rights. I did find Maeve to be a bit cringe at times in the way that she spoke but that was just me personally and if I’m honest, my only criticism!
The story was great and had lots of turns and development as it went that I didn’t see coming. I loved how each character in the book handled everything that was thrown at them and nothing felt like it had been thrown in there for shock value, it all felt natural and really well written. Like you were really reading a real story.
It reminded me a lot of the Diamond Back Ridge series by Gemma Morr and of course I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Elsie Silver, her influence is clear through the book.
T Nolan clearly did her research with this book and the time and care she spent writing it shows on every page. I would definitely recommend this and should a sequel be written - I will be first in line!

Wildflowers and whiskey is right up there with Elsie Silver in my opinion.
This book had me captivated from start to finish. A highly impressive debut novel. Yes because cowboys ..Yee haw, but also I felt very seen by this book.
Both the FMC and the MMC )Wade) felt like a piece of me.
The plot isn’t just your standard girl meets boy blah blah. It’s much more. It’s self discovery, found family, finding yourself, acceptance of your self and never shrinking to fit in.
There’s a huge mental health rep within this book which has been handled very well by the author.
The characters were easy to read and understand their “whys” and become attached to. I’m hoping there’s more to come and we get a “Colt” book to see what his future holds

Oh my god what a beautiful story this was.
Wildflowers and Whiskey goes much deeper than some of the spicy romances I’ve read. This is an exploration of finding yourself, learning to love your quirks and accepting your flaws. It has been so written so beautifully I’m struggling for words.
I am a fantasy girl normally so I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I did. The characters were complex but lovable. The storyline was simple yet spoke to me on a spiritual level. The mental health representation was approached so incredibly well.
Catch me moving to a ranch to live out this life - I cannot recommend this enough 💖

Wow! Between the depth of emotion portrayed throughout this story and the absolutely on fire spice scenes, this book left me breathless - it was packed with everything from heartfelt emotions to unexpected giggles, heated moments and honestly alot of tears!
i fell in love with every single character. T. Nolan shone a light on the internal battlefield for each character in a way that brought forth so much empathy, even for the characters i typically would dislike.
in addition, I was completely swept away by the setting! I literally could not stop highlighting quotes and completely devoured this book!
I can’t wait for the other books in this series!

Omg I could not put this book down. I loved everything from start to finish, the characters, the plot and the authors writing style. I’ve never a 3 person POV and I really enjoyed getting to see the story from the multiple view points and to be able to develop a connection to each character individually as well as the entire story. I cannot wait to see what is next for the amazing T Nolan 💙💚💙💚💙

I was provided an ARC by the author. All thoughts are my own.
It was a nice surprise to find the setting of the book in Texas as a Texas girly myself. I realized I didn’t know the official names for some of our wildflowers so that was a good little education opportunity. The tropes list is what really drew me to this book. I haven’t read a love triangle book before but I thought it was done really well. I enjoyed having the three character point of view. I also really enjoyed the mental health awareness aspect especially with the men’s health focus. You could tell the author tried really hard to make this book realistic with human flaws in the characters without being irritating because they make unnecessary stupid choices for the plot.

Straddling the line between an emotional read and sexy one, Wildflowers & Whiskey was everything i love about cowboy romances in one perfect package. It felt pretty realistic compared to most cowboy romances I’ve read previously and Maeve (FMC) was so real for wanting to abandon her life in the UK to go live on a ranch with some hot cowboys 😂
I loved the POV being from our FMC and both MMCs, and i found all 3 of them were just so human - flawed, vulnerable and so loveable once you get to know them. Being inside all 3 of their heads made for such an emotional read - there were heavy themes surrounding mental health throughout this book and the subject was handled so delicately by the author and wasn’t romanticised at all. The heavier emotional aspects were balanced out by found family and friendships, and the filthy mouth on (daddy) Wade (a moment for him and the porch swing, please 🫦) I also really appreciated the author’s writing style - there were so many little humorous moments and phrases scattered throughout the book which i caught myself smiling at more than once!
Overall i genuinely loved this, it was hard to put down and i just felt like it had so much more substance than your average cowboy romance, despite being a fun and spicy read.
Would i read it again? Yes! I’m mostly in my fantasy/romantasy era these days but i used to read almost only cowboy romances and this is probably my favourite one ive ever read 🥰

Being inside all 3 of their heads made for such an emotional read - there were heavy themes surrounding mental health throughout this book and the subject was handled so delicately by the author and wasn’t romanticised at all. The heavier emotional aspects were balanced out by found family and friendships, and the filthy mouth on (daddy) Wade (a moment for him and the porch swing, please 🫦) I also really appreciated the author’s writing style - there were so many little humorous moments and phrases scattered throughout the book which i caught myself smiling at more than once!
Overall i genuinely loved this, it was hard to put down and i just felt like it had so much more substance than your average cowboy romance, despite being a fun and spicy read.
Would i read it again? Yes! I’m mostly in my fantasy/romantasy era these days but i used to read almost only cowboy romances and this is probably my favourite one ive ever read 🥰

Firstly, I have to note the sweet AND spicy dedication? LOVE that.
Absolutely loved everything about this book. The writing style, the witty banter, Maeve's snarky comments, the spice... all of it.
The story starts with Maeve stuck in the cycle of "work, save, sleep, repeat. Sprinkle in a breakdown here and there to keep it spicy." LOL. I felt that, girl.
To escape it all, she signs up for a ranch experience programme (where do I find that btw... asking for a friend?). She's spent her life searching for somewhere to belong, always finding temporary places with temporary feelings. Watching her finally discover somewhere that feels like home was so heart warming.
Maeve says it exactly how it is - sometimes in a wonderfully word-vomity kind of way, but it's what makes her so endearing. She had me laughing so many times.
Then we have Colt - the golden retriever cowboy with a heart of gold, quietly carrying demons he's desperately trying to work through.
Enter Wade, phewww - the moody, Cowboy Batman with a MOUTH. But it's not just about the fact he's a "sexy, frustrating, thick-thighed enigma", he is also working through a lot of deeper emotions we don't see surface level.
One particular scene has me desperately wanting to go use my swing bench...iykyk

What I didn't expect was how emotional this story got! I knew there was some mental health rep but it was done so beautifully and I just wanted to protect them, especially my baby Colt :(
Male mental health is a topic very close to my heart, so thank you for including this in a way that resonates so much, in a respectful way too.

Wildflowers and Whiskey by T.Nolan is a beautiful book that totally surprised me. It had a slow burn romance, tension, sizzling chemistry and important conversations about mental health. The plot , narration and setting of the book was exceptional. It had three person POV and I enjoyed reading every bit of it.
The Character of Maeve as a female lead was a sunshine who knows how to light up the world of people around her. Her relationship dynamic between Wade and Colt was written in an amazing manner. Her journey of self discovery and the way she found home and family at ranch was heartwarming to read. Her friendship with colt was selfless and empathetic. The chemistry with wade was just terrific and I loved reading every moment between them. The Age gap trope was executed in an excellent manner and I loved how the story unfolds at every point. It doesn't feel rushed or overwhelming.
The Character of Colt as a soft golden boy truly stole my heart. His POV made me emotional at times and my heart did break for him. Through his character one can learn the importance of mental health and therapy. His friendship with Maeve was beautiful and I enjoyed those little moments between them. The relationship growth between Wade and Colt was phenomenal. He was brave and it takes a lot of courage to accept certain harsh realities of life.
Wade, what an amazing character he was!! I loved everything about him. He was grumpy but at the same time he was caring, selfless and an amazing companion to Maeve. He was an excellent father to colt. His character deeply moved my heart. There were moments where I was speechless while reading his POV. It is amazing to read such a selfless and loving character.
I enjoyed this whole cowboy romance a lot. Iris was an amazing side character, her friendship with Maeve was amazing, one always needs such a friend in their life. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to all romance readers!!

I love me a cowboy book and this was right up there with ones that will live in my brain!T. Nolan gripped my heart and gave it a right good shake multiple times throughout this book!
The story was so so much more than just a cowboy book. Its about personal growth, friendships, community, and does a brilliant job at mental health. No matter what there was something for someone to connect to within this book.
Maeve is out FMC, she finds herself from one place to the next trying to find somewhere that calls to her soul. She is so funny, determined, spontaneous and loveable to everyone. I loved her journey and realising that Wildbrook is where she should be.
Wade, well if he isn't the true personification of grumpy man then i have no clue what is cos damnnn, he was grumpy hahaha. But that of course, is the lure in itself. The way you are spoon fed small little tidbits on his history throughout the book that shows how much of a good man he is and how loyal he is to those around him. Ahhhh swoon!
Colt, now i was always in two minds about him, he was so sweet and thoughtful but he was struggling so much with his mental health, even when he didn't realise it. I wanted him so badly to just immediately get the help he truly needs. I really hope we see a happy future for him soon!
Iris! i loved her, she's ace, i know we didn't see much of her but gosh i hope she has an extended holiday with Maeve and falls for a certain someone cos i just want to see her stop all over him lol!
I can't wait to see what's next in T. Nolans world!

This book surprised me in the best way. 🌻🤠
I went into Wildflowers & Whiskey expecting a cowboy romance, but what stayed with me wasn't just the romance. It was the emotional side of the story.
There’s something really beautiful about a book that understands that belonging isn't always about finding the perfect person. Sometimes it's about finding a place where you can finally breathe, people who make you feel seen, and slowly learning that you deserve to take up space in someone else's world.
Maeve was probably my favorite part of the book for that reason. Her desire to belong felt incredibly genuine, and I loved seeing her become more comfortable in herself rather than having everything revolve around who she might end up with.
I also appreciated how much family, healing, and self-love were allowed to matter alongside the romance. The relationships felt layered, and the emotional moments gave the story more weight than I was expecting going in.
And the ranch setting? 🌾
It gave the whole book such a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. There was something about the combination of wide-open country, hard work, quiet moments, and complicated emotions that made this feel like a story I could settle into.
I especially appreciated the mental-health representation. It wasn't treated like a convenient plot device—it was part of the characters' lives and their journeys toward understanding themselves and each other. That made those parts feel much more meaningful to me.
This was one of those reads where I found myself slowing down instead of rushing toward the ending because I was genuinely invested in the people, not just what was going to happen next.

When Maeve comes across an ad for a ranch immersion work scheme she jumps at the chance of a new experience, and maybe to find somewhere she finally feels she belongs. Before you know it, she’s landed in Texas and greeted by a surly, hot as sin cowboy who makes it clear he doesn’t think she’s got what it takes for ranch life.
Maeve is fierce and unfiltered and funny. The kind of ride or die friend that you want on your side. Her resilience and kindness leap off the pages and her search for a place to belong broke my heart.
Colt is the kind and sweet golden boy, but he’s also a lonely soul, battling his demons one step at a time. I loved Colt’s growth and the way his mental health struggles were delicately handled. His and Maeve’s friendship was so sweet and supportive.
And then we have Wade. What. A. Man. When he deigns to actually speak, he has a completely filthy mouth and its sole focus is on Maeve. Underneath all the brooding though is a man who’s put everyone before himself and is just going through the motions of life. It’s been so long since he allowed himself anything that makes him happy, so he can’t stop himself from reaching for Maeve when she bulldozes through his walls.
Maeve and Wade’s chemistry was undeniable - these two were never going to be able to resist. The way the intimate moments between them built quietly was so sweet and then, holy blazing inferno, did it get hot! T Nolan did not deny us the spice and I’d be more than happy to meet Wade in a barn with some rope.
I’m so impressed that this is T Nolan’s debut! The mental health representation was done so well and clearly came from a place of love and understanding. Balancing three POVs isn’t easy but it was so necessary to understand the headspace and actions of each character. She honestly nailed the character development.
The spice was hot as hell but didn’t overtake the plot or the impeccably paced and beautiful romance. She deftly infused so much emotion and soul into this story that I cried repeatedly.
If you need me, I’m off to a Texan ranch to find me a cowboy where the wildflowers and whiskey are.

Was lucky enough to get an ARC preview of Wildflowers & Whiskey- having not read any cowboy romances since Elsie Silver a few years ago and binging Yellowstone and Dutton Ranch, this seemed like the perfect read to end my Summer hols and boy, it did not disappoint!!!
Maeve, Sunshine personified, throws caution to the wind and applies to become a Ranch hand over in the small town of Wildbrook Hollow, Texas. A big change from London!
Having never worked with cattle, let alone ridden a horse, Maeve has a lot to learn, and an excellent teacher in Colt, the son of the grumpy ranch owner, Wade. Maeve is soon winning over everyone's hearts, and for the first time, she feels she belongs on the ranch in Texas.🐎🤠
There's just the question of her broody boss Wade! Determined that there's more to him than his gruff exterior, Maeve finds herself delving into his past and soon uncovers secrets and emotions far more complicated than she had envisaged. What will happen if the truth is finally revealed?
I really loved the main characters! Colt and his enthusiasm and sensitivity that he shows towards Maeve, supporting her through ranch life, despite overcoming difficulties himself. Wade and his family loyalty. His ongoing quiet , unassuming support for Colt. As well as the extended found family on the ranch. What a special place to live!
The mental health issues explored throughout added an unexpected depth to the story and really got me thinking about the complexities of families and what I'd have done.

When she stumbles upon an ad looking for someone to help out on a ranch in a different country, she signs up in the middle of the night, not expecting anything to come of it. The opportunity calls out to her, and it feels very on-brand for her to try something different.
Not expecting to get the job, she sees it as a fresh start and is surprised when she actually enjoys it more than she thought she would. For the first time in a long time, she feels a sense of belonging.
This one was very entertaining. Maeve is a character I instantly fell in love with, and I only wanted good things to happen to her. She is such a breath of fresh air, and I connected with her desire to simply belong. Making friends, connecting with those around her, and not constantly looking for the next best option, hoping it will finally provide what she feels is missing in life.
Not only does she develop a connection with everyone, but the grumpy cowboy Wade slowly warming up to her is exactly what she needed. Did the age gap feel a little weird to me initially? Yes, but I went with it and took it for what it was.

If you think you have read every cowboy trope out there… think again! This book completely redefined the genre for me! 🤠✨
I legitimately could not put Wildflowers & Whiskey down! We have all read and loved a million cowboy romances, so I went into T. Nolan’s debut thinking I knew exactly what I was getting… And, boy, was I wrong; it is just so good, and it completely blew me away!
The setup sounds classic: Maeve is an unfiltered British FMC trying to escape her wanderlust cycle and find somewhere she belongs… so she signs up for a ranch immersion scheme in Texas... Forced proximity on a working ranch at its finest!
But you yawl… I completely, hopelessly fell in love with these characters and this whole world. On paper, you expect a typical grumpy boss cowboy and his golden retriever son. But the depth they actually have… Wade is carrying the heavy weight of ranch secrets and putting everyone else first, while Colt is dealing with his own deeply personal mental health struggles. Watching all three of them in a triple POV slowly drop their walls, heal, and navigate found family and real emotional growth.
Without giving anything away, the story delivers some massive emotional hits alongside scorching-hot chemistry, and the journey they go on is so incredibly real. It has the perfect amount of swoony, funny moments, but it also gets incredibly deep.

Watching all three of them in a triple POV slowly drop their walls, heal, and navigate found family and real emotional growth.
Without giving anything away, the story delivers some massive emotional hits alongside scorching-hot chemistry, and the journey they go on is so incredibly real. It has the perfect amount of swoony, funny moments, but it also gets incredibly deep.
Bring on the rest of the series!

Losing something you've never truly had is one thing. Losing something that finally feels like the thing you've been chasing all this time is a different one entirely.
Firstly, thank you so much to T.Nolan and Whimsy Words PR for the eARC. I am beyond grateful.
Now, this is an amazing debut. Worth every single star. I devoured this book and I have no regrets.
I absolutely adore Maeve, I loved her vulnerability as well as her strength. Her banter is also unmatched and also very British which I LOVED. Her friendship with Iris is one of my favourite things about the book. Wade is a brooding cowboy with a teddy bear heart and a filthy mouth so of course I was obsessed with him. Baby boy Colt, I wanted to jump into the pages and give him the biggest cuddle.
The triple POV was executed perfectly and I loved getting everyone’s perspective. I could also tell that the author is a huge reader, the lore drops and bookish things were woven in and I ate it up.
Don’t get me wrong, this book was a fun time with a soft love triangle (but not really), ranch secrets and betrayals. But underneath all of that were some heavy topics that were handled with the upmost respect.
I can’t wait to see what else T.Nolan writes, because I have fallen head over heels for her writing.

Ohhhh boy this cowboy romance had me speed reading! The tension between Maeve, Wade and Colt brought me back when I should have probably been doing things I needed to get done. 😅
I really need to see this bar though because Coyote Ugly is a great movie and I really need this bar to be real, cuz man I would visit!
I thought the mental health rep was written really well and made you really understand what the character was thinking and going through. The way it was explained I can totally see how something like that could happen in real life.
I loved Maeve! Wanting to try to find somewhere where she belonged and willing to upturn her whole life. I only hope I could do that some day if I needed to!
Colt and Wade. That’s just a whole can of worms ready to explode… and let me tell you, fantastic drama for the story! The suspense that the reader is kept in because of it might make you want to yell at T. Nolan but that’s okay 🤣!

Some spelling errors in the ARC copy but did not take away from the book!

Wildflowers & Whiskey by T.Nolan is a perfectly imperfect romance filled with depth, heart, authenticity and of course, spice.
Knowing the author, it is incredible to see elements of T.Nolan shine through in the writing - bringing resilience, warmth, sass and personal truth to make the interactions feel genuine. The book's greatest strength lies in its characters who feel vivid, flawed and unapologetically human.
The doctor's office was an absolute highlight for me. Nolan handles that scene with delicacy, delivering vulnerability in a natural way that builds character on so many levels.
The romantic chemistry is addicting - Nolan masters the slow-burn yearning, where every quiet glance and unspoken desire builds into spicy, powerful intimacy that just feels so right!
I found the depiction of complex family dynamics tasteful, honest and deeply validating. As an older sister who had to grow up early and be the strong one through tough times, I resonated a lot with the characters. Thank you for showing those dynamics, the healing and messy reality of mental health with empathy and grace.
Personal note: As someone who was privileged enough to read the first 5 chapters over a year ago, I can see how much love went into writing this book. I am so proud of my girl!
Equal parts grit, tenderness and heat, Wildflowers & Whiskey is a deeply personal, beautifully crafted story that lingers long after the final page. I cannot wait for book 2!
