This book was so toxic and I couldn’t stop reading! 😂 The drama was nonstop, and every chapter had me wondering what crazy thing was going to happen next. I wanted to feel sorry for the side chick, but she was just too emotional and kept stirring up so much unnecessary drama that it made it hard to sympathize with her.
For most of the book, I was convinced this was going to be a 5 star read. The characters had me completely invested, and I flew through the pages. Then came the ending 😫That cliffhanger was absolutely brutal! As much as I enjoyed the story, knocking it down to 4 stars was inevitable because there’s still no word on a sequel. I need answers, and I need them yesterday!

Totally Gripping
From beginning to end I was intrigued. Of course the way Alisha began about Deuce's behavior I knew he was foul. Easy one. But that's where it ends. How and why he involves his wife's best friend is absolutely unthinkable. Her love for him has her agreeing and now she's caught in lies that will devastate her best friend, her man, hell all surrounding them for real. All because one selfish man couldn't be faithful and another man has it bad to arrest him, all the secrets that they think are buried will show ain't no friendship, relationship or loyalty safe when destruction comes knocking. Good book.

Ain’t No Way 🫣!
Blood is thicker than water but there has to be limit somewhere. The one thing that can hurt a man and make him dangerous, is playing with his heart and his family, especially his kids. Let’s Chat!
This here was literally messy. Ain’t no way, I would turn my life upside down and ruin my happiness for my brother infidelity. See Deuce is wrong on some many levels. like dude is you cool!! It’s all he worried about is self and no one else. Though he may love his wife Alisha, he selfish. Now Kim, yeah she that female all friends groups talk about. She is the spoken person for desperate female. How you go into a situation knowing what it is, to letter try to read it for what it’s not. Don’t get me wrong, Deuce play a major part but at the same him a ninja thinking with the wrong head.
Who my heart slight went out to was Shaunte. She didn’t deserve her happiness to be ruined but at the same time she did have a choice. Trough she should’ve followed her first, however, she is her brothers keeper. Now who my heart truly hopes out to was Malik. He definitely doesn’t deserve this. One way to hurt a man is by playing with his heart & his children. The crash out will be really.
Listen, I didn’t know what to expect with the read based off the title. One thing for Mrs. Ro J tapped into her messy bag. This here was some messy mess. This slightly reminded me of some incest even though it wasn’t. If that makes sense. Interested in finding out the outcome cause it’s to be messy. I honestly hope Kim doesn’t get what she wants. I’m just saying.

Well written
The ability to pull you into each scene emotionally was the first thing that impressed me about this story. Deuce is one of the most delusional MMC I’ve seen, because he is genuinely doesn’t care about anyone else. Shante is GARBAGE and deserves to go to prison for Deuce since she cares so much. Alisha and Brittany the victims here. Thankfully Alisha has good women around her so she plotting strategically.
Very good so far and i would recommend reading it.
Ps. It’s a series, if you see this before part 2 comes out.

Like the fact that the husband wanted to seem like he was such a smart guy, but all his moves were stupid they want calculated I don’t know I didn’t. I’m not gonna Read part two. Shante for example why would you do something so stupid that’s gonna ruin your life and a person who you claim you love for your brother because he couldn’t keep his penis in his pants. I don’t know.

I normally don’t agree with the side chick but in this case I was so happy that she told Alicia what it was cause it was just way too much dysfunction and playing in her face going on for me and I hope Alicia beat Shante,Kim,and Deuces’ ass fr and get her get back times 10 cause the two people that she trusted the most then just betrayed her in the worst way they gotta pay for that fr this was a damn good book I can’t wait for book 2

Deuce is one selfish individual! He doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings, and his loyalty damn sure doesn’t exist to anyone! Kim, Kim, Kim! Wanted the man so badly, but I think she signed a check her behind can’t cash. Something else is going on with Agent Brown. And poor Alisha. She should did a little bit of digging earlier!!

Omg so messy yet entertaining
This was a good book! Im glad everything is out in the open. Am I the only one who think that one or both of the babies is really hers? Duece know he was dead wrong! Kim is a mess and should have known the outcome. I hope Alicia comes out on top in book2!

give me more
So I wasn’t gonna leave a review due to the fact I don’t want to wait any longer to get the next book. Then I realized I can’t do the author like that bc this book was so good. It literally almost shocked me at every turn. Honestly this book isn’t what I expected but I think I love it more than I thought I would. Read it, trust me, it’s worth the read.

Loved it
I really feel bad for Alisha. That is so embarrassing. Deuce really went to far. Malik and Alisha are going to feel it the most. Shante should have never let her brother convince her to be a surrogate. He should have killed Kim's grimey self. Great Read.
