I have to start by saying Nicoline's writing is engaging, it really pulls you in the story and you want to continue reading solely based on her description of everything. But the story wasn't as impressive as I had expected it to be. It touches on multiple points that are brilliant eg. linking the mass shooting with heamanism but at the same time there are many loopholes, like how in the world were the heamans able to transport such large shipments without anyone noticing. And at times many things felt like they were a child's play for the bad guys which in my opinion isn't a fair fight. The book was long and I had to skip pages but nevertheless I wanted to see how it ends so I continued.
I am a big fan of indie authors (being one myself) and I would recommend this as a one time read, but not something that you would regret if you missed.
