My go to for a HEA is anything written by Clara Pines. Back in Trinity Falls, a spin off from her previous books and many of the old favorite characters are back. Mallory loves her work, she is the owner and baker of local bakery in Trinity Falls. Although this year has been rough, she lost her mother suddenly and her crush is marrying someone else. Being busy getting her business off to a good start she joins an online grief support. Where she begins a sort of connection / friendship with Harrison a widow who is also grieving. When he decides to relocate back to TF where he often visited as a child and has family still there, Mallory offers to show him and his daughter around. When they finally meet in person both are surprised, nothing at all as they thought the other person would be like. And even though Harrison 1st priory is Katie his daughter, he can’t help himself wondering what if?
One always finishes The End with a happy ending and a warm good feeling. The books are Novellas and I always love reading the bonus scenes. Great way to get away from it all for a few hours. Thank you to the author for this ARC. All opinions expressed are truly my own.

Pure Holiday Magic: Bonding, Healing, and Love in Trinity Falls

If there was ever a small town I wished I could live in, it would be Trinity Falls. This is simply a magical place and makes for some of the most heartwarming, delightful reads this reader has had the pleasure to enjoy. From the original series through the spinoffs, the town and its townsfolk just keep getting more and more special. That includes A Cowboy's Christmas Baker, which is book one in the Trinity Falls Village series. From the start to the very end, Ms. Pines has written a touching storyline that will warm your heart.

Harrison is a widower with a very bright eight-year-old daughter, Katie. He is a great father who is doing his best to help his daughter come out of the shell she sank into after her mother died. Harrison understands this struggle—after all, it's been hard on him too. When he gets the opportunity to buy a dairy farm in Trinity Falls, a place he himself has a lot of fond childhood memories of, he and Katie make the move.

Trinity Falls also happens to be home to the local baker he met online in an emotional support group. But when they meet in person, neither is what the other expected. Harrison is a young, handsome man—not the older man Mallory had been picturing—and Mallory is a much younger, gorgeous woman than the one Harrison had envisioned. They form a fast friendship, and Mallory is quickly drawn to Katie. In fact, she and Katie start to bond over baking, something Katie used to do with her mom.

Could Trinity Falls provide us with another magical Christmas? After all, it’s a place that seems to always have love, happiness, and family in the air. Mallory and Harrison’s story will touch your heart and bring a few laughs and smiles along the way. I can’t recommend it enough!

We are in Trinity Falls for a wonderful holiday story with all the feels. Mallory is the local baker and has just found out that her life long crush is getting married and she feels heartbroken. As her friends are talking with her she remembers she is meeting her widowed friend whom she met on line in a grief group. When Harrison walks into the bakery Mallory is surprised to see that he’s not the stooped over older man she was expecting just as Harrison is equally surprised that Mallory is not older as well. Harrison is a widower who has a daughter named Katie who is eight. Harrison is moving to Trinity Falls and has purchased a dairy farm. He has family in Trinity Falls and is excited about moving there. Katie is quiet and shy but easily talks to Mallory about baking. What happens next is a carefully woven story that will capture your heart! It has lots of laughter, a few tears, and a relationship meant to be! There is also a holiday treat that Mallory needs to make as a signature piece for the bakery with the hope that she can purchase the building she currently rents. As these three get to know each other and working through life’s every day happenings you will be cheering for them to become a family! It truly is a magical season in Trinity Falls that includes family and friends that make this story special with their support and love. Outstanding book! 5+ stars.

We are back in Trinity Falls with another heartwarming story. This time it belongs to baker Mallory Fisher and newcomer widower Harrison Law and his sweet daughter Katie.
Mallory’s life revolves around her bakery, her friends and once upon a time, dreaming a future with her crush that is about to get married.
Harrison and Mallory connected through a internet grievance support group and have formed a sort of friendship. When he decides to buy a dairy farm in the area so that not only him but also Katie can be close to family, he and Mallory make a point of meeting in person. Neither expected the attraction between them.
They spend time together, and we get a chance to see both father and daughter blossom, winning Mallory’s heart.
But he told her once he never was going to marry again. Will spending time with Mallory and family and thanks to Mallory, seeing his daughter become a happy child once again, finally show them that being together is a gift?
This was another sweet, touching and wonderful “feel good “ story by this talented author. It was a story not only about a couple and a child , but also about friends, a charming village and about second chances in life and love.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This really is such a sweet and beautiful series and the characters all make your heart melt. Clara Pines writes the most heart warming books and when you read the book you are drawn into the charm and wonder of Trinity Pines and all the wonderful residents. In this book we meet Harrison Law, and his daughter Katie, who comes to Trinity Falls to start over after the loss of his wife. Mallory is the owner of the local bakery and has been texting Harrison through a grievance support group. When these two meet you can feel the sparks but both deny the attraction and try to move forward without reading too much into it. It soon becomes clear there is something there and slowly they develop a warm friendship that does move onto something more but in the mix is Harrison’s young daughter who is quite shy but her friendship with Mallory helps ease the loss of her mother and Mallory helps Katie bake some of her mum’s recipes and slowly Katies comes out of her shell. The friendships are real, the love is real and Trinity Falls is the perfect backdrop for a beautiful romance to develop between two people who have had a connection before they actually met. Another feel good story by Clara Pines who warms my heart with her words.

If you want to read a book that lets you escape your reality for a little while, is clean and always has a HEA then Clara Pines is the author you want to pay attention to. Especially when it comes to romances that take part in Trinity Falls. It is a small little town, is realistic because everything is not perfect but the community is created of people from all walks of life who come together and show pure love.

In this story, Mallory, the owner of a bakery is dealing with heartbreak. The man she has had a crush on forever, is now marrying someone else. She should be mad at the woman who took her man away, but she can’t be. Instead, she throws herself into work and helping a new person who is moving to the town, Harrison. She “met” him on an online grief group, he was a widower with a daughter he couldn’t stop talking about, so she assumed that he was older. Nothing could be further from the truth!! So when Harrison walked in the bakery with his 8 year old daughter, they were both a little shocked. Especially since over time, maybe romance wasn’t dead, especially when you thrown in a little Trinity Falls Christmas magic!!

Thanks to 1852 Media and the author for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Talented baker, Mallory, is being comforted by her best friends, Ana and Valerie, after her long-time crush’s new fiancée asks her to make their wedding cake! When widower, Harrison walks in with his eight-year-old daughter, Katie, Mallory must adjust to another shock.
Clara Pines has created another touching story featuring characters who are dealing with loss and the methods they use to help them cope with their grief, with Katie the focus of most of everyone’s concern, leading both Mallory and Harrison to set aside their own heartache in their efforts to help the little girl.
Profoundly affected by her mother’s death, Katie has withdrawn from social interaction; however, with Mallory’s empathetic intervention and Harrison’s patience, the reader sees glimpses of the spontaneous and confident little girl we must assume she used to be.
Mallory is a gentle philanthropist who generously bakes a surplus of treats in order to share with less fortunate community members, instead of counting profits. I regarded Harrison as a stoic rather than the “grumpy cowboy” he is often referred to; a man who is more comfortable communicating his feelings via text. This is my voluntary review of an ARC I received from the author.

This has got to be the sweetest Christmas love story ever told. The love just pours out of every character. I can just feel all of the love, and almost taste all of the sweet treats. I felt so much for Katie, my heart broke for her. Mallory was so amazing with her and knew just what she needed because she went through the same thing just at an older age. Harrison has got to be one of the greatest dads ever. He has so much patience and love for his daughter that he would do anything to see her happy. I do not want this series to ever end. I am going to be heart broken when it does. I fell in love with Trinity Falls from the very first book. Trinity Falls is my go to Happy Place. I can just picture the warmth from the bakery and looking out the window at the new fallen snow. I love how Katie and Mallory’s dad hit it off so well. If you are looking for a very warm and happy read go no further because you can’t get any better than this. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. In fact every one of Clara Pines books are absolutely amazing. “I received ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.”

Cowboy’s Christmas Baker is baker Mallory Fisher and widower and single dad Harrison Law’s heartwarming story set in the small town of Trinity Falls. It’s book one in the new Village Christmas Series and I loved everything about it from the small town residents gearing up for Christmas to an adorable little girl named Katie who stole my heart as she came out of her very shy shell.
Harrison is new to Trinity Falls and he is looking for a fresh start close to his distant family members for him and Katie at the dairy farm he has just purchased. When he connects with Mallory in an Internet grief support group he decides to meet her in person when he finds out she lives in Trinity Falls….what follows is a heartwarming journey as Harrison and Mallory decide to take a chance on friendship and eventually love.
I fell hard and fast for Harrison and I adored Mallory but it was watching Mallory help Katie come into her own that took this book to another level. This is a magical romance that transported me to my favorite time of the year.

So happy to be back in Trinity Falls!

Widower Harrison and baker Mallory have both experienced loss and pain, and I loved watching them begin to heal by simply being there for each other. Their relationship develops so naturally, from conversations online to getting to know each other in person, and I enjoyed every step along the way.

I especially loved watching Harrison’s daughter, Katie, find her spunk again with the caring and support of Mallory, her family, and Harrison’s extended family. And the baking sessions between Mallory and Katie? Some of my favorite moments in the book! There’s just something special about seeing their relationship grow over flour, frosting, and a little Christmas magic.

It was wonderful to see the Cassidy family again and catch up with everyone in Trinity Falls. Clara Pines has created a place that feels like coming home, filled with family, friendship, laughter, and love.

Finishing a Clara Pines book always leaves me with a warm heart and a smile on my face. Trinity Falls truly seems like the best place on earth to live—and after spending another Christmas there, I’m even more convinced I’d love to call it home!

This book was a very good read. I enjoyed the story and they sweet characters. It takes the reader back to Trinity Falls and Christmas time that is around the corner. This is the story about Mallory Fisher, that recently has experienced loss, she has her bakery that she's very much invested in. The story is also about Harrison Law, a man that Mal has "met" online without having met him before. Their paths will cross as Harrison has gotten a farm property not so far away from the village. Harrison has his 8 year old daughter Katie he's raising alone since his wife passed away. Both Harrison and Mal have loss in common and as they navigate through their first encounter the story unravels. The book has a really sweet Christmas theme and, as the storytelling goes on it's difficult to let go till the last page has been turned.
I can definitely recommend this book with a hot cup of tea or coffee all cozied up infront of a fireplace.
I'm grateful to have read this book and look forward to the next one it the series.

This begins a new series, in the popular Trinity Falls community. Harrison Law is related to the Cassidy family. He's a widower, who has bought a dairy farm, and moved here with his 8yr old daughter Katie. She's painfully shy and withdrawn, since the death of her mother. They meet up with Mallory Fisher, at the local bakery. Mallory soon learns that Katie likes to cook, and invites her to have a weekly baking class. This works well to bring them both out of their grief, and Katie soon has school mates joining her. The book description calls Harrison grumpy - that to me, suits a complaining, frowning sort of man. Harrison is just quiet and serious - trying to start a new business and care for his daughter. It was fun to see Mallory find her "signature Christmas baking item", bring joy into the lives of the Law family, and rise up her business. The romance between Harrison and Mallory was slow, but it worked.

Cowboy's Christmas Baker is the latest book written by Clara Pines that I've enjoyed.

This is Mallory and Harrison story. They met on an online support group for grieving people, but now that Harrison moved to Trinity Falls with his daughter and they finally meet in person, they are in for a good surprise. Will they keep their friendship as easy as it is or they will develop some different feelings?

Mallory and Harrison are kind and generous, they helped each other dealing with their grief, and they deserve to be happy again. I liked to see them to get to know each other in real life, their early struggles are so relatable, but in the end they find the same comfort in each other they always have had.

Clara Pines writing is really good and the emotions she conveys are easy to absorb.
It's so great to meet new people and revist the people I already met in this series, it's like to go back to my favourite cosy place and be among friends.
I definitely recommend this novel.

Cowboy’s Christmas Baker
By: Clara Pines

Grief can be overwhelming and completely take over every part of your life. One aspect of successfully learning to live with your grief involves grief groups or grief shares. Harrison and Mallory meet during an online grief share group. Anonymity offers the opportunity to open yourself to share those deepest feelings and memories.

Then Harrison shares that he is moving into the vicinity of Mallory’s hometown (he visited often as a child). Could their friendship continue in person as it had online? Discovering that Harrison is a young good looking man instead of the elderly man she envisioned doesn’t help matters either. This one is one you don’t want to lay down, you want to find out what happens!

I am so excited about this new collection of the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series! I have long waited for all the characters in the village to get their own happily ever afters, and Mal's story is the perfect start!
Mal and Harrison's confusion over their ages in the beginning of the story gives us a hilarious beginning to their relationship, and all the room-com perfect moments in the book keep the laughs coming. From escaped cows to water spilled on purpose, I found myself laughing through the whole book. I can't wait to read Ana's story next and I hope Valerie's isn't too far behind!

I was provided an ARC from the author, but I was not required to leave a review and all opinions are my own.

Sweet beginning to the new series, Trinity Falls Christmas Village, by Claire Pines.
Sweet story of three lives changed.
Mallory owns the bakery in Trinity Falls. She’s had a bad year, her mom died and the guy she’d crushed on for years just got engaged to someone else.
Harrison isa single dad just moving to town. They’d met on an online grief forum and stated private messaging each other. Both were surprised when they met, they hadn’t pictured the other the way they were in person.
God always has a plan for each of us.
*I received this as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review.

“Christmas Cowboy’s Baker” is the 1st must read from a fantastic spin-off, ‘Village Christmas’ from the amazing Trinity Falls Sweet Romance books.... I could not put this page-turner down! I loved how Harrison & his young daughter met Mallory & then watching their building chemistry play out in different ways... Another sweet, cozy book full of wonderful characters, love, family and 2nd chances with a happy ending... Even tho I volunteered to read this without any outside influences, I can honestly recommend this to all & can’t wait for more from Ms. Pines!

Cowboy's Christmas Baker: Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Village Christmas - Book 1
Oh boy! Another great book by Clara Pines! I love her clean romance books filled with real life characters ( flaws and all) and real life events! This one has so much joy and humor in it that I didn’t want to put it down! I am hooked on Clara Pines’ book is all I can say. I loved little Katie. I wanted to just hug her. Katie’s dad, Harrison, is so caring . You just yearn for Mallory and Harrison to open up with each other. Be sure to get this book!📕

Honestly, this book is titled as Village Christmas - Book 1, but with all of the stories set in Trinity Falls it may as well be just one big series. Like all of the other books, this is a standalone, HEA story about a single Dad, and single baker finding more of a connection that initially thought when they become friends through a grief support group. I've read quite a lot of stories from this author now and they are consistently wonderful, feelgood reads but this story was just lacking something for me. I don't know what, since I did enjoy it, just not as much as I usually do.

This story gently tugs you into it. It is filled with imperfect characters that feel real. Enjoy a trip back to Trinity Falls. Meet Mallory and Harrison, who met through an online grief group and encourage each other through living that unscheduled event. Their expectations of who the other is makes for an entertaining first meeting. You get to read it, to discover all the adventures they have.

Mallory met and began chatting with Harrison Law online. She had him pictured as an older man, but when he walks into her bakery for their first meeting, she was not expecting the tall handsome man who stood before her. It's too bad that he has told her that he will never marry again because she wants to marry and have a family. She has fallen in love with his shy, reserved daughter and is able to make her laugh.

Mal and Harrison

I loved this book! The hesitant love story between Mal and Harrison is a tale of two people who have lost so much and are afraid of caring too much again. The characters are wonderful and I felt like I wanted to know them better because I cared for them personally. I especially loved Harrison's daughter, Katie. I love all of Clara Pines' romances , but this has to be one of my favorites!

What a sweet story. I love all the baking. I was especially touched by how Mal's signature treat engendered fond memories for everyone who tried it. Not just a treat, but a walk down memory lane. How precious is that! Love this community where everyone pitches in to help each other. A town with a caring and generous heart. Would love to live there.
Another gem for the lovely series.

An absolutely beautiful story. I love how patient Mal is with Katie. Favorite scenes: Katie with the kitten; developing the new signature treat for Christmas; descriptions of the memories the treat invoked; Harrison’s surprise at Valerie and the cow. Loved this one and can’t wait for Ana’s story.

I read this book as an arc.

Mallory Fisher is owns the local bakery. She lost her mom unexpectedly and is still grieving.
Harrison Law & his daughter Katie have recently bought a local farm. He’s a widower and grumpy. She wants a family of her own. Harrison said he’d never remarry. Will the baker melt his heart?
