I absolutely love this series and this book. We have watched Margot and Dalton tip toe around each other. There is several stutter steps before they start their HEA. But what we do know is danger is lurking and the whole tram will band together again to save one of their own. Grab your Rose' and dive in.

It’s charming, but… what is wrong with Damon?

He’s hot and cold, denying his feelings for years, and then going on a date with someone else because of their age gap? Oh dear. What an emotionally stunted man.

Margot, on the other hand, is kind and genuinely lovely. She’s hardworking and quite the opposite of spoiled. She never whines, she’s a good listener, and honestly, she’s pretty much the perfect woman.

But from the very beginning of pursuing Margot, Damon makes mistake after mistake. Reading it gave me so much secondhand embarrassment. Still, I really admired Margot’s maturity. She knows her worth and doesn’t hesitate to walk away when the situation becomes too uncomfortable for her.

And I really didn’t like how Damon treated her. He kisses her, then goes right back to being overly polite and distant for weeks. What a jerk.

Overall, though, this was a cute read—sweet, charming, and humorous at times. Damon tested my patience, but Margot made the whole thing worthwhile.

Their growing connection, emotional tension, and the danger surrounding Margot make this a compelling romantic suspense.

What I especially enjoyed was watching a man who’s terrified of vulnerability realize that loving Margot is worth the risk. And Margot deserves someone who sees her struggles without allowing them to define her. 🥹❤️

If you love protective security heroes, workplace crushes, emotionally guarded men, strong heroines, slow-burning chemistry, danger, suspense, and heartfelt happily ever afters, Damon and Margot’s story is definitely worth reading!

Damon had a wonderful parents and when they were taken from at an early age. Joining the army then the Power Security team he found his brotherhood. Always keeping himself at a distance as the loss of more people he cares for has built a wall around his heart. One person Margot is his weakness.
Now Margot has one big weakness and its the man who rarely smiles, now again shared a joke with her. The man who was there when she was hurt and then pull away. Damon.
I loved Damon and the same time wanted him to stop living in his head. One thing these two have is chemistry. One drink, pizza and slowly an officer relationship becomes more. The banter between them brilliant and I loved how Margot doesn’t let him get away with his silence instead of words.
A stalker, brings the the team out in force to save one of their own.
Pure emotions, chemistry, spice , angst, drama, tension and romance all the way.

Margot Reid is the receptionist at Power Security--the first line of defense when someone enters their offices. A while back, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and was kidnapped, only to be rescued by her office crush, Damon Pallin--who is way out of her league. When a new threat appears, Damon is quick to take charge, moving Margot into his home. The only problem? Damon's had a crush on Margot since the day she was hired. But love isn't for someone like him, so he does his best to keep her at arm's length--even as his heart tells him to claim her.

I was so thrilled Nicole gave a secondary character her own story! How great is it that sweet Margot, who was mentioned in other Power books, got her shot at love? And I loved that this was also a coworker's story.

Fun, sexy, fast-paced, and full of twists, this is a great, quick read.

I have loved every story in this series. Damon and Margot have danced around each other for quite some time. There were times I wanted to shake Damon with how he handled and avoided acknowledging his feelings about Margot. Then the next moment, I wanted to help him over his insecurities of being good enough. Margot, gotta love her sense of self worth and sass when Damon blew hot and cold. It was also interesting to see all the Power Security men realize they hadn’t acknowledged her past trauma…definitely read the previous books for Margot’s experiences. Just when Damon finally acknowledges his love, danger strikes so he and the Team are off to rescue their own beloved Margot. Loved the epilogue with all the couples. Hints for the next story have me waiting in anticipation.

What a fantastic read! I really struggled to put this one down. I’m loving this series, but this book has to be my favourite so far.

As always with Nicole Flockton’s books, there was plenty of excitement and page-turning suspense to keep me hooked. But the real highlight for me was finally seeing Damon and Margot come together after they’d been tiptoeing around each other for a while. I must admit, I was initially a little frustrated with how reluctant Damon was to act on his attraction, but once he started communicating with Margot, I completely fell in love with him!

A brilliant story with fantastic characters and plenty to keep you turning the pages. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read Bayden’s story!

A protector romance with a good dose of danger and suspense.

There’s a little bit of spice, a mystery to unravel, and the surprise return of family…

Damon and Margot have plenty of tension, especially as Damon tries to keep his distance while becoming increasingly protective of her.

I love the family vibe between the characters. There are some great relationships developing throughout, along with a few funny moments to balance out the suspense.
And then there’s a surprising betrayal at the end that I definitely didn’t see coming!

A fun romantic suspense with danger, protective vibes, family and just enough spice.

Securing His Obsession brings us Damon, who absolutely had me wanting to shake him so badly. His inability to just get the words out to explain himself had me yelling at him, yet I also softened at his insecurity of not being enough for Margot.

I enjoyed Margot, on the other hand, when she sassed Damon, didn’t give him an inch, and made him work for it. When danger hits and Damon gets a chance to win Margot, I was going, “Finally, man!” Can’t be all smooth, yeah?

Of course, danger comes knocking, and watching this team work together to help Damon get his obsession back was great. Looking for a security company with great camaraderie, workplace romance, and danger? Look no further.

When someone comes at Margot, Damon stands in the way, protective and strong. He sees Margot and what she is going through.

Damon is a Protector from Power Security and he is the only one who sees what Margot is going through. She tries to hide it but he sees through her and wants to step up. It's not till trouble corners her that is his chance.

The chemistry is a impelling reason to keep reading and the Power team behind them, live that team spirit.

A fantastic read with a great plot and a even better romance. So good!!.

Securing His Obsession is the 6th book in the Power Security series and since there are lots of references to past events and both Margot and Damon have appeared throughout the series, I highly recommend reading them in order. I liked Margot, she's loyal, hardworking and determined to wrestle with her trauma on her own. However, I wanted to shake Damon for the way he treated her through a good half of the book, before finally getting his act together - just in time to save her life. I liked how the HEA draws all the couples together, with all of the original team members now paired up. I received an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received this book as Arc review. I loved it. Margot is a secretary for a security company. Margot had recently been kidnapped. Damon is one of the 5 owners of the security company. All the owners are SAS in the military. Both Margot and Damon had crushes on each other but was afraid to act on it. Margot got a threatening note on her car and pictures of her in different places at work. Damon moved Margot in with him for safety. I won’t give any spoilers but I never would have guessed who the obsessed person was after Margot.

Their workplace dynamic, her long-standing crush, and his guarded intensity make the romance engaging, while the security-team friendships add a strong found-family layer. I appreciated the story’s reminder that Margot belongs to herself, even as Damon’s protectiveness becomes central to the plot. The suspense turns serious when an obsessive former connection abducts her, and the team’s coordinated search and rescue gives the book a brisk action thread. Margot’s recovery and the warm epilogue provide a satisfying landing, though the rapid shift into danger may feel dramatic compared with the gentler early workplace romance. A good fit for readers who enjoy protective heroes, close-knit teams, and romantic suspense.

Received a free copy for a honest review. While I have read the series and all the stories can be read standalone, I believe that this is one of my favorite. Damon has been attracted to assistant Margot since she was hired. In the series, Margot went through some trauma and Damon has caught on to her experiencing some PTSD. Margot also runs into some issues which lead her to move in with Damon for security. There relationship grows and Damon has to see if he can save her from a stalker. Highly recommend.

I love the characters from the Power Security series. Margo has had a bad year. She had a crush on Damon, but he doesn’t return her feelings. He wants to keep her safe after she was taken, but he keeps his feelings hidden. He takes her to his house to protect her when the threats start. There is no hiding the passion that is between them. Their feelings grow as the danger does. I enjoyed reading their story and catching up with the team.

A fantastic story. A slow burn. Margot and Damon work for Power Security. Margot suffered a trauma recently and is having difficulty. The two are attracted to each other and he is keeping his distance and she misreads him. When they find that she is in danger, he is determined to keep her safe. Can he keep her safe? Who wants to harm her?.

Oh these guys from Power Security…so hot. Damon runs a little hot then cold at the beginning. But he soon gets himself together and into the game. Margot is amazing. I love how she doesn't let him get away with too much. There is just the right amount of intrigue and who dunnit. I love this group of characters.

Dalton has been tip toeing around Margot one minute hot then cold. When Margot got hurt, he was there for her then he turns around and goes back to the way he was with her. When Margot gets a stalker, all bets are off. Danger, suspense, chemistry and the entire team working to get their HEA.

Another well written book in this series. Damon and Margot have worked together for a while now and he’d love nothing more than to get up close and personal with Margot. Margot has always had a bit of a crush on the former SAS operator but Damon manages to confuse her at the best of times as he runs hot and cold, and Margot can get a little testy. Of course there’s drama and danger to come and it’s all hands on deck to ensure Damon and Margot get the HEA they deserve as their smouldering romance sparks to life. As always, thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review her work.
