Wayne Moloney's book conveys an easy to understand path through the at times difficult labyrinth of sales management.
Sadly, this book is needed as at times sales reps are elevated to sales management status even though they have never had the opportunity to develop people leadership skills.
Wayne Moloney's book therefore is an excellent grounding for aspiring and for newly appointed sales managers. It is logically laid out, easy to understand and refreshingly devoid of unnecessary padding or overt finger-waving by the author.
Well worth a read.

There is a world of difference between the role and the responsibilities of a salesperson and the ones of a sales manager. What is expected of each also varies greatly.
This book is a very good tool for salespeople that are promoted sales manager, without enough preparation for the new role. In simple words, it explains the various facets of the role and how to adapt.
I do recommend this book.
