This is Book One in the Acts Of Honor series, the spin-off series to Men Of Honor. It’s told in dual POV, has an HEA with no cliffhanger and it can be read as a standalone. However, I highly recommend that you read the Men Of Honor series prior, as characters play recurring roles in both series.

4 Redeeming Stars.
Anna had a bad past. And somehow she’s moved on from it, and a lot of help came in the form of Landon, her boyfriend. They are young, they are completely in love and they believe they’ll be forever. Until tragedy strikes and they get separated.
Four years later they meet again in some strange circumstances and both of them realize their feelings are still the same. But Landon is going to some stuff that he wants to keep away from Anna, and Anna is decided not to be left out this time.
Life gave them a second change… but could circumstances not be in their favor one more time?
K.C. Lynn is one of my favorite auto-buy authors and one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Her formula doesn’t differ much, to be honest. Sweet girls, badass heroes, some bad guy drama and a lot of steamy scenes and cotton candy romance. As ever, this book checked all those boxes and even added a little bit of mystery to it.
So if you want a well written book, with nice and strong characters that is guaranteed to make you spend a nice few hours of reading, this book is an amazing job.
Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: I loved Landon. He’s one tradition KC Lynn alpha hero. Now what he wants, go after it, doesn’t care about the rest. He was badass and still had a heart of gold. Anna was pretty good as well, she was strong and kind even after everything she went through. As always, it was nice to see more of the gang.

I can't believe it took me so long to start this series. I loved all the characters I met in K.C Lynn's Men of Honor series, and was definitely curious about Anna. I was really happy with the story that she got and that it wasn't focused on her past.
We never really got to see the beginning of Anna and Logan's story, we just saw it briefly, but that was actually a good fact. I liked that their past wasn't too involved in this story and instead we got to see them moving on from it. The fact that they were able to make a future and leave behind the very messed up past they had was great and I loved seeing it.
There is a very strong sense of family in this story that I really liked. Getting to see all the past characters from the other story, and also meet some new ones really made the story stand out. They were just a really close group of people and I always enjoy reading about that in my books.
Overall, this is a must read book. You don't have to read the Men of Honor series in order to read this one, but I still recommend those book just because I liked them so much.

So it's happened.
The book I've been prolonging all fucking week because I didn't want it finish has finally come to an end and now I have to say goodbye.
FUCK!!!! FUCK FUCK FUCKING FUCK!!
I fucking HATE saying goodbye to these characters!!!!
I'm getting all fucking choked up thinking about it!
I've been with all theses characters for the past three bloody weeks, it's like meeting the love of your life and then three weeks later you lose the fucker and have to say goodbye.
Yes you've had some laughs, you've been emotional, you've had ya fucking heart ripped out and your vagina has hurt BUT it's the goodbye I never wanted to do. Not with theses characters. Not ever.
After a full 12 long arse fucking days of a vile book hangover from Resisting Temptation (Cade❤️Ruthie) I was given Logan & Anna's book and I may have fucking wet myself!!
I was so excited to find out what the fuck happened to Logan in Kayla & Cooper's book that the second I got this fucker I jumped straight in. I NEEDED TO KNOW!!!
I can safely say I did NOT see what happened coming like at all! But that's KC for you, she just swoops in and takes our life in her beautiful writing hands and FUCKS IT UP!!! But then she makes it all better again!
My fucking HEART!! Theses two together melted my fucking heart....and knickers!! FUCK ME, Logan you are a naughty, naughty boy! That 'SOFA' scene was bean flick worthy!!
Apart from the hot as fuck FUCK DOWN that went on, the two of them just had that LOVE that everyone wishes to have once in their life. Some of the shit Logan said brought a tear to my eye!
It was a roller coaster of a book! My fucking emotions were all over the bloody place!
I miss them all already! I miss the whole gang!!
Oh and you fucking wait till you see all our boys with their kids! Seriously hottest thing EVER!! So protected of their babies.
I loved this book. From the tip on my nose to the under sack of my balls, I loved EVERY FUCKING MINUTE of it!
KC Lynn has literally become one of my favourite people and my 'One Click Author'. I would read the woman's shopping list!
Cade & Ruthie, seeing you again meant everything to me. You are in my heart FOREVER!!

An Act of Redemption is the first in a series of novels which are a spin off of the A Men of Honor Series, In this first instalment, we follow the story of Anna & Logan.
Anna, was the rescued victim of the sex trafficking trade in Resisting Temptation and Logan is her hero and the boy who pulled her through the bad times and helped her on the road to recovery. Years later, she is a strong and compassionate woman who has a lot of respect for the military men who saved her, and especially Jackson who she has formed a very close bond with.
Logan is an honourable man in his own right, he has given up his dreams in order to be the man of his house, making sure his mum and sister are looked after and the bills are paid. He may look rough around the edges with his bad boy persona but deep down he has a heart of gold.
Unfortunately Anna & Logan's path takes an unexpected turn and they both have to face the reality that true love never runs smooth and Logan has to fight quite literally to the death in order to redeem himself if he wants any kind of future with the woman he is sure is the love of his life.

KC Lynn once again delivered a heartfelt and emotional read.
I highly recommend reading Men of Honor first, or at least Fighting Temptation, in order for you to get a good feel for the back story, and also to familiarise yourself with all the many great characters that appear in this book. I think you'd be a bit lost otherwise.
At times, I felt like I was reading an extended epilogue, and to be honest I would have preferred less of the family get-togethers and more story between the main couple. It was like a reunion for all the characters that played a part in the previous 4 books.
I think for me to have felt that wow factor, I would have really have loved to have learnt more about Anna & Logan when they first met. I think I needed that connection.
I hate to say it, but I think this book was a little too sweet for me. Still, there were plenty of steamy moments and enough drama to keep me reading.
I am looking forward to the next in the series though, I am officially a KC Lynn addict and would highly recommend this book to fans of MoH and those who like a sweet but possessive alpha.

5 Forever Yours Stars!
This book is a spin off series from the Men of Honor series.
You do not have to read the Men of Honor series to read this one. If you do want more on Anna's past you should read Fighting Temptation (it's the first book in the Men of Honor series) Jaxon and Julia's story to get it.
I was so happy to see we were getting a story on Anna and Logan.
We start with Logan taking Anna to her senior prom. The night is beautiful until Logan gets a frantic call from his younger sister. Logan and Anna rush out of their hotel racing to Logan's house. Logan ends up fighting his mothers ex that is beating his mom and sister. It doesn't end well and the ex ends up dead after he falls from a punch and hits his head. Logan refuses any help from Anna or her family. He doesn't want to be in-debt to her dad. He knows the best attorney isn't cheap. He deals with it on his own. He excepts a plea bargain that is offered to him where he will serve 6 years in prison. He then pushes Anna completely out of his life. He refuses her visits. Anna is devastated.
Four years later the Feds are offering another deal to Logan. If he will go under cover as an illegal fighter his sentence will be over. The only thing is the last person standing in the final fight will have killed their opponent.
Everything is going smooth until after Logan's first fight is over. He looks up only to lock eyes with Anna out in the crowd. They are both in shock from seeing each other. Anna runs. Logan chases.
Logan is torn. He knows he's not good enough for Anna. He is never going to be anything but an ex convict. She deserves better. But he can't help that she is all he wants. He loves her very much.
Anna is still in college. She is also still deeply hurt that Logan shoved her out of his life. He was there for her when her world was in pieces. He helped her heal. She doesn't understand why he wouldn't let her be there for him when he needed somebody. She could care less about his past or what anybody thinks of him. She knows the real Logan.
I loved these two. You could feel how much they loved each other even after so many years. Logan was sexy and very possessive. Just the way I like my men. I also loved that not one time did he look at another woman. He only had eyes for Anna. Swoon!!
You should know where Logan ends up training. You guessed it! With the sexy men from the Men of Honor series. Jax, Cade and Sawyer's gym. I loved that we got all of them in this book a long with their wives and kids!
I loved the epilogue we got. It made me very happy!
Looks like an awesome start to a new series! Lots of action and smexy times in this book.
Coming up next will be Act of Salvation which is Katelyn and Nicks story. No date yet. I can't wait!!

Writing: I enjoy KC Lynn’s stories. Easy to follow storyline.
Characters: Anna and Logan are the MCs, but we have a lot of appearances from the characters of the Men of Honor series. Anna and Logan both have troubling childhoods. They help other to get through the painful past.
Storyline: Anna is struggling through a horrific event and returning to high school is unbearable. She is crying in a park when she meets Logan who walks over to offer comfort. Logan is patient with Anna, but he is also bearing the responsibilities of man twice his age. One evening, he plays the protector and things go wrong. Getting his life back on track requires putting his life in danger.
KC Lynn is known for her OTT Alphas and we receive nothing less here. Logan is a dirty talking, protective, OTT Alpha dealt a crappy hand in life. I liked that Logan’s backstory was different from Anna’s, but just as intense. They were on equal footing. Both severely damaged by the past.
I wanted a little more narration of how Anna and Logan worked through the incident, but instead we get a big gap of time and jump forward a few years. I wanted a little more angst so that the reunion would be sweeter and something that I felt relief about.
I enjoyed the fighting and wanted more of that too. I’m glad that things worked out for Logan, but I was bummed that his career is going in a different direction. Fighters are HOT!
KC Lynn also writes about real issues that we tend to ignore – vets and homelessness. I liked how she wove that piece into this story.
Intimacy Scenes: This felt weird to me. Nothing wrong with the writing, it was all me. I met Anna when she was a kid and it was awkward reading about her sexcapades. I felt like Jax in some ways. I wanted to tell Logan to stop touching her. LOL. KC Lynn can write steamy, so it was definitely me that I had the issue.
Overall: Although I enjoyed this story, the Men of Honor series was better. I found myself wanting more appearances of Jax, Sawyer, Cade and their families. I didn’t feel as invested in Anna and Logan’s stories. I think it was the time gap that hindered the opportunity to emotionally connect. This story wrapped up Logan and Anna, but ended with a big issue for someone else and not sure I’m interested enough to find out what happens.

The story of Anna and Logan is everything I thought it would be- more actually- yet very different than I expected. KC Lynn’s writing gets better and more beautiful with each passing book. An Act of Redemption is proof of that.
After closing the door behind me I fall back against it and slip to the floor in agony. Hugging my knees to my chest I remember that time four years ago. A time that left the deepest of scars, not only on my heart but my soul.
Anna has owned a piece of my soul since Fighting Temptation. If you’ve read the Men of Honor series then you know firsthand the overpowering story of what Anna has been through. If you haven’t then- well, SOMETHING IS CLEARLY WRONG WIT YOU!!! (hahahaha, Kidding! Well-kind of ;) ) Its a brilliant series and definitely a must read, but you do not have to have read it at all in order to fully enjoy every bit of An Act of Redemption.
It’s clear right from the beginning that Anna and Logan share an unbreakable bond. They met young and were each lost or broken in their own way. They are fictional living proof that sometimes all it takes is that one person to heal all the broken you feel within yourself.

Not only the love- but the overwhelming friendship that these two characters share is so beautiful it will bring tears to your eyes. I cried more than I will ever admit while reading An Act of Redemption- which is no surprise because KC’s writing is absolutely beautiful (I’ve said that already right? Well clearly it needed to be said again-because its true) and the descriptions she uses are ones that will forever be seared into your heart.
Logan- I think my heart just did a little backflip just writing his name. That boy- or shall I say man?!?! Either one- the boy or the man- had me. I completely fell for every action, every word he spoke. His understanding with Anna, his patience, his need to keep her safe and willingness to give up everything he is just to try to make sure she is able to live the life he dreams of for her. It was all just so emotional.
“I’ll always chase away your demons, baby.”
“Maybe one day you will let me chase yours away.”
Something painful flashes in his gaze before his eyes fall closed and he drops his forehead to mine.
“You do, Anna, just being near you quiets them.”
When he looked at her- it was almost as I felt it. When he spoke to her- I got goosebumps from the passion of his words. Logan’s life was a jumbled mess and I broke for all the torment he had to live through. But seeing him heal and literally feeling the unspeakable peace that Anna brought him is something I rarely find in a book and will never forget. When an author is able to actually make you feel what a character would be feeling at a specific moment with just a few words on a page- is something special and that you don’t find too often. But that is exactly what KC does. She is my go to feel good author that I can always count on for quality, emotion and hilarity.
The base of this storyline is phenomenal. Its quality. It’s a fast paced storyline with a slow building drama. Its full on right from the start- you don’t have that feeling like ‘ok its finally getting good…’. Right from the start you are hit with everything Anna and Logan and it will suck you in and you won’t want to stop reading. My only regret was not taking little mini breaks to savor it piece by piece.
If you’ve read the Men of Honor series then you are going to love getting more of all the guys and their families in An Act of Redemption. You will also meet a couple of new characters- my favorite being Sarge. Its amazing how one sideline character can really make you think of how you look at the world.
KC Lynn is a must read author for me- I kinda love her as you may be able to tell. But whether you have read her or not- give this release a shot. You’re sure to become a lifelong fan like me.

I finally read this book! I waited for so long to read about this sexy man & this beautiful girl!

Full with honorable men, kickass heroines, sweetest children, one fine-ass humour and SMEXYYYYYYYYY SCENESSSSS !

Warning #1: Act of Redemption may cause a Book Hangover.
Warning #2: This is a spin off of the Men of Honor Series. It can be read as a stand alone. But don't. Read the Men of Honor first. It will help you appreciate the secondary characters in this one.
Anna is the survivor of a kidnapping and slavery ring. She was rescued when she was 14 years old by the guys of Men of Honor. Since then, they have been her big brothers and protectors. Especially Jaxson. They are Anna's family. But they didn't save her. Logan did.

I get the overwhelming urge to grab Logan and run, knowing things are abut to get worse.

Logan wow !!!
Again i'm kicking myself for not reading this book earlier. It was brilliant. It's a while since I read another from this KC Lynn but I'm so glad I have finally gotten back to reading her. I don't know why I stopped reading every book I've read has been so so good. Her stories are just so addictive and this book was just the same. Logan and Anna story was heart breaking but sweet. There lives haven't been easy and there relationship has been a rollercoaster. But there luv for each other is so strong it doesn't matter what is thrown at them they have each other.
It was so good to get more of the guys and woman plus kids from the Men of Honor series. This spin of series is a great follow up. Jaxson Sawyer Case and Copper are just brilliant again. I luved seeing Jaxson being the protective brother to Anna. It might annoy Logan but she's need both men in her life. They mean so much to her. Anna and Logan are so good together they really hot together as well. They both being out the best side to each other. They can't keep there hands of each other it so sweet even when Jaxson is around to moan about it. It's so funny. I still luv Jaxson.
I would highly recommend this book it's just amazing. Everything about it is brilliant. Second chance romance is just the best. This book is written so well the story flowed so well with the right amount of sexiness drama happy and sad moments. It's just so good I'm really looking forward to more of this series after what happened at the end of this book. Bring it on.

Ok, so I really went into this thinking "Darn it, I need to be more critical. I can't keep giving everything I read 4 or 5 stars". And, I will tell you, I really did try to find things I thought others might not like, or plot holes, anything. But, just like the other books K.C. has written, I FLOVED it. So, here is why:
1. Anna is amazing. She took her terrible tragedy and has made it into a wonderful life. She really is such a great role model for girls. I love a character who admits her struggles, insecurities, and doubts then finds the support necessary to move past it.
2. Logan is probably on of the most well written BBF's ever. First, he meets Anna when she is so totally broken. He sticks with her through her tough times and helps her become better. Not a lot of guys would be able to deal with what Anna went through. Now, I am NOT happy with a few of the decisions Logan made regarding what HE thought was best for Anna but, thankfully, he redeems himself pretty quickly.
3. You get to see Jax, Sawyer, and Cade still! And their wives and kids and its just all so stinkin' cute! Its always difficult for me to move on from a series I love because I am never quite done with the characters so this gives me new characters to love AND a check in with previous loves. Win-Win
4. Good plot twists. I thought it would be pretty straight forward but I will admit I didn't guess the 'bad guy' at all!! Or the other plot twists! (I don't want to give spoilers, but when you read it, y'all will understand what I mean-there are a couple of plot twists when you are trying to figure out who did what and I was surprised each time!)
Bottom line: Read this book. Read all her books. Trust me. She hasn't written a book I haven't loved. (seriously, if you haven't read her other books, DO THAT NOW!!!! Come back and thank me when your done!)
Heat-o-meter: 4.5 (its got some pretty descriptive scenes but no cheating or weird kink cause y'all know I just can't read that!)

I forgot to add how much I hate the word smirk which was used 29 times.
I loved Logan & Anna. Both were awesome. You knew they loved each other. You felt their connection. Logan was for me the perfect alpha male. Never abusive but not wishy washy about his feelings for Anna. I loved his confidence. I was very happy that Anna was no doormat. She expressed her hurt & anger to Logan w/o being a bitch. She respected herself.
The cover for me was boring but I really liked the story.
The epilogue was a joke b/c basically there was none. 263 pgs and alternating H/h pov.
I'm frustrated b/c I wanted more of Logan & Anna. I wanted to read about how their relationship started. Also thought KC used sex in places instead of delving deeper into the couples emotions. I felt them bonding but the intensity could of been ramped up before the sex. Now the sex was hot & I didn't want any of the scenes cut. I wanted more conversation before the sex. Basically I wanted a longer story.
I was bored w/ the Sarge plot. Though I think Veterans are under served.
I also wished things played out differently during a scene w/ some motorcycle thugs. I would of loved to see the guys go badass on them.
No cheating or ow/om during seperation.

OMG This book was damn awesome. KC had me engrossed from the 1st page till the Epilogue. Her writing ad always was Gold.
Here we learn about Logan and Anna stories. Although this is a 2nd chance love story they never stopped loving each other and waiting.
It was so heartbreaking to see the things they went through and just as amazing to watch them rekindle their love fight against odds and be together.
It was also amazing to see the rest of them that we have come to love.....

I loved Anna and Logan's story it was truly heart warming! Anna is one amazing women she's so strong, smart, beautiful soul inside and out. I just loved her she's been through he'll and back thank for her hero's jaxson Logan case and Sawyer these men are just amazing love them all! Logan is the new hero in my eyes he's one amazong man he reminds me so much of jaxson they are so alike possive stubborn good looking and hero's this book was great can't wait for Kaylyn story and Kolan.

What can I say about KC Lynn, well for one she’s Canadian eh? , for two she knows how to write a story and three she knows how to write about her Navy Seals. I fell in love with her writing with Fighting Temptation and I jumped on the roller coaster ride never being let down.
We all fell in love with Anna in Fighting Temptation. She is Jaxson little sister, though not by blood. They went through something no one would ever survive, but they did and it made them intertwined with each other forever. It also created a bond that could never ever be severed.
Now it’s time for Anna to have her happily ever after. I mean she deserves it. It might make it hard for Jaxson to see that not only is she grown up she has grown up to be a beautiful woman inside and out. Of course many boys noticed her but Logan also noticed her. Sigh oh Logan. How I love thee.
In the beginning he was my salvation, but in the end I was his redemption.
This is our story.
Logan isn’t from the right side of the tracks. He has nothing going for him, except he knows hard work, he knows how to survive, he knows how to love but most of all he knows how to protect the ones he loves.
Anna could care less about where he came from. She followed her heart, she followed everything that Jaxson told her to do and it lead her to Logan each and every time

They thought their love would never end. They thought they had it all. With one mistake it gets taken away from them. It gets ripped out of their hands. Their future that they dreamt about erased leaving them both alone.
That day I left broken, my mended heart shattered once again, but this time I knew it wouldn’t be repaired-not without Logan.
And just like that not only is her heart shattered so is yours. You are sitting there thinking how this could happen. How can one girl withstand so much? When is it enough? You know that she will go on because she is a survivor, but she is half the person she should be because the other half is out there somewhere only she can’t have him. He won’t let her.
Logan is one proud man. He will take help from no one. He will do what he needs to do to be true to himself and never owe anyone. Nothing can make the pain of pushing the one thing he thought he could never find. Love. Anna. Two words can bring him back.

Now he’s back in town. Back to the place half of his heart lives at, only he won’t tell her he’s back. He wants, actually he doesn’t know what he wants at this point. He wants it all, but having it in your hands and then ripped away makes you scared to believe that you can have it. That you of all people deserve it all.
No words are spoken as we stare at one another, our chests heaving together as one. The air around us becoming so thick it’s stifling. It’s as if we are in our own universe, one I remembered all to well.
No one knows the inner demons that haunt Logan. No one knows how inside he is a shell. He is broken. The only one that could heal him is not an option. At least not in his reality.
I only broke down once and came to see her. I parked a fair distance away to avoid being seen, and ended up waiting for almost an hour. I was about to give up when I finally spotted her walking with her friend across campus, and I swear my heat stopped f*cking beating. She was everything I remembered her to be-beautiful, vibrant and perfect. She laughed at something her friend had said, and even from where I stood I could hear it. The long, but not forgotten, sound washed over me and brought physical pain. I ached so f*cking bad to go to her, to touch her, to pull her against me and never let her go.
He has made a deal with the devil or as some would call them the FEDS. The one thing that has him going is the Jaxson, Sawyer and Cade are in his corner. These freaking guys refuse to allow anyone they know to fail. Failure is not an option.
He’s fighting his past, he is fighting for his future, but most of all he is tired of fighting his feeling for Anna. He is tired of pushing her away, tired of fighting that ghost.
“Just who the hell do you think you are? You have no right to act like this. We are over! We have been over for years and-”
“Like hell we are,” he growls
Those are the last words spoken just before his mouth claims mine with a possession that steals my breath. And just like that she nails it yet again. This book rocked my freaking world. It had my heartbreaking, it had my heart palpitating, it had me fanning my self, it had me holding my breath but it had me realize that love is the only thing worth fighting for. With love you can do pretty much anything you set your mind out to do.
KC makes you fall in love with the characters hook line and sinker. It is really hard for you to think you have a favourite character because once you start reading you sit there saying, yup now he’s my favourite. Which makes you see KC knows what she is doing and I can’t wait to see what other stories that she comes up with. You know I’ll be there every step of the way.
What can I say about KC Lynn, well for one she’s Canadian eh? , for two she knows how to write a story and three she knows how to write about her Navy Seals. I fell in love with her writing with Fighting Temptation and I jumped on the roller coaster ride never being let down.
We all fell in love with Anna in Fighting Temptation. She is Jaxson little sister, though not by blood. They went through something no one would ever survive, but they did and it made them intertwined with each other forever. It also created a bond that could never ever be severed.
Now it’s time for Anna to have her happily ever after. I mean she deserves it. It might make it hard for Jaxson to see that not only is she grown up she has grown up to be a beautiful woman inside and out. Of course many boys noticed her but Logan also noticed her. Sigh oh Logan. How I love thee.

I wrap my arms around his neck bringing myself closer to him. “Because you make me happy,” I tell him truthfully and brush my lips across his.
They thought their love would never end. They thought they had it all. With one mistake it gets taken away from them. It gets ripped out of their hands. Their future that they dreamt about erased leaving them both alone.
That day I left broken, my mended heart shattered once again, but this time I knew it wouldn’t be repaired-not without Logan.
And just like that not only is her heart shattered so is yours. You are sitting there thinking how this could happen. How can one girl withstand so much? When is it enough? You know that she will go on because she is a survivor, but she is half the person she should be because the other half is out there somewhere only she can’t have him. He won’t let her.

The long, but not forgotten, sound washed over me and brought physical pain. I ached so f*cking bad to go to her, to touch her, to pull her against me and never let her go.
He has made a deal with the devil or as some would call them the FEDS. The one thing that has him going is the Jaxson, Sawyer and Cade are in his corner. These freaking guys refuse to allow anyone they know to fail. Failure is not an option.

KC Lynn burst onto my radar with her wildly successful Men of Honor series, a series which I adored. She followed that up with Beautifully Insightful, a fantastic addition to her incredible catalog. Within the Men of Honor series, we met a young Anna and her boyfriend, Logan. This is their story.

This book had it all; suspense, angst, pain, love, sweet redemption and so much steam, it was coming out of my ears! KC Lynn is a masterful storyteller, and you can't help but get swept up into one of her stories. I loved this book, I love this author, and I'm excited for more of this series. 5 Redeeming Stars!
I have been a big fan of K.C. Lynn for a long time. With each book, her writing just keeps getting better and better. So, I end up setting the bar higher and higher. With each new book, I think to myself, how can I possibly love another character or story more than her last. And each time, she blows me away. An Act of Redemption is no exception. We previously were introduced to Anna and Logan in the Men of Honor Series. This is their story.
“Where are your memories now?” I stare back at him and tell him the truth. “Gone thanks to you.” Relief washes over his expression before he gives me a brief kiss. “Good, I’ll always chase away your demons, baby.” “Maybe one day you will let me chase yours away.” “You do, Anna, just being near you quiets them.”
An Act of Redemption is a beautiful story. It is a story about redemption. “You know what I see when I look at you? I see a man who was wrongfully convicted, a boy who fought to protect his sister and most likely saved her life.” “I don’t see an ex-convict, I only see a man of honor.” It a second chance romance that will pull at your heart and not let it go.“God, Anna.” “There might be a lot of shit in my life I’m uncertain about right now, but not you, baby. As long as I have this, I will always have my place in the world.” “You’ll always have me. Forever.”
Anna and Logan’s journey to HEA is a tough one. They both have had some tough cards dealt to them. They’ve been hurt, damaged, lost. They have so much that they have to overcome. And watching them get to that point is a truly amazing thing. Anna and Logan have a love like no other. Anna and Logan’s story is not easy. In fact, their story deals with some tough subject matter, but as always, KC Lynn has handled it in the best way. But, in the end, they just get one another. The faith and trust that they have in one another, allows them to get past the most impossible of situations. And boy do they love each other something fierce. Logan is 100% alpha male. He knows what he wants, and what he wants is Anna. The chemistry between the two of them is scorching, I mean page melting!!
An Act of Redemption is an amazing start to the Men of Honor Series. I loved every second of Anna and Logan’s story. It was so easy to get caught up in it. I did not want to put this book down. I was hooked from the first page, loving everything about this story. The plot is so captivating. The characters are tough and real. They are so easy to care about and to relate to. Even the secondary characters can’t help but mean something to you. Especially, our new friend, Sarge. He is such a special character. I hope that we will be seeing more of him in the future. And I don’t know about you, but I love getting to see characters from other books and how they are all connected and have grown.
An Act of Redemption totally exceeded my expectations. It made me laugh, swoon, fall in love and stress the heck out. And I loved every minute of it. Anna and Logan’s story hit all the marks for me, giving me everything that I was looking for and more, wrapped up in an amazing tale of redemption. Fans of KC Lynn, you will want to read this one. It does not disappoint. I highly recommend reading this book.

I dont know what was it about this book. I didnt love it but I also didn't hate it. I just kept on hoping/waiting it would have been like Faith's book but it wasnt. I would have loved for the author to have start the book with how they met and go from there. She only mentions it as a memory and thats it. I think it would have been a stronger beginning.

I really like the way she writes! But sometimes I feel like I'm reading the same story with different names.... I know what to expect from her books...

אני חושבת שכל ספר של קיי סי יקבל אצלי חמש. אמנם היה משהו בקטנה בסוף שהיה לי קצת יותר מידי מבחינת המתח! אבל עדיין לדמויות האלה מגיע הכול ואני אף פעם לא אתאכזב מהן. והסוף היה מושלם!
באמת שאני לא יודעת איך לא ניגשתי לסדרה הזו עד עכשיו. קראתי מספיק ספרים של קיי סי לין כדי לדעת שהיא אף פעם לא תאכזב אותי, פשוט בגלל האנגלית קצת נרתעתי. אבל החלטתי לעזוב הכול בצד ולגשת לסדרה הזו. אז התחלתי וניסיתי והאנגלית דיי קלה.
Act of honor היא סדרת ספין אוף על דמויות שהיו בגברים בעלי כבוד. את אנה הכרנו מהספר הראשון היא הייתה בת 14 שנחטפה וחוותה טראומה נוראית, הגברים הצילו אותה והיא נקשרה בעיקר לג׳קסון, תמיד שהיא בסביבתו היא מרגישה מוגנת. בתחילת הספר מתואר איך היא פגשה את לוגן, בינו ובין ג׳קסון יש המון קווי דימיון, גם מהסדרה הקודמת מבינים את זה.
ולוגן אמאלהה הוא הפך לגיבור מספר אחד של אנה וגם לגיבור שלי! קיי סי לין יודעת לכתוב גברים מגוננים ואובססיביים!! ברמה שאני מתאהבת בשנייה, קפצתי מאושר מכל משפט שהגבר הזה הוציא מהפה. הסופרת הזו לא מפסיקה להפתיע אותי כי אם כמה שכל הגברים שהיא כותבת דיי דומים, גיבורים מושלמים ובעלי כבוד, לכל אחד יש את הסיפור שלו ואי אפשר שלא להתאהב בהם.
בהתחלה לקח לי קצת זמן להתאפס על כל הדמויות ולהיכנס לעלילה ולהבין, בגלל באנגלית ובגלל שקראתי את הסדרה הראשונה דיי מזמן. הקצב של של הספר מושלם, מעניין מהעמוד הראשון. לוגן חי עם אחותו ואמא שלו והוא היה צריך לדאוג להם תמיד בגלל שאבא שלו עזב ואמא שלו מכורה לאלכוהול. אני לא רוצה לספר יותר מידי אבל לוגן מסתבך במשהו וניכנס לכלא, כתוצאה מכך אנה נפגעת מהבחירות של לוגן והם לא מתראים 4 שנים, עד שלוגן מקבל הזמנות לצאת, והוא יעשה הכול כדי לצאת מהמקום הנוראי הזה ולקבל הזדמנות להיות שוב עם אנה. הוא יעשה הכול כדי שהיא תסמוך עליו שוב ותהיה שלו. ברגע שאנה גילתה למה הוא היה צריך להסכים כדי לראות אותה שוב היא כעסה, היא פחדה. אני פשוט התאהבתי בה בכל רגע יותר ויותר היא ניסתה להילחם עם ההחלטות שלו אבל בסופו של דבר היא הייתה חייבת להבין שהוא עושה את זה בשביל להיות איתה שוב. אבל היא לא רוצה לאבד אותו שוב. הם קיבלו עוד הזדמנות ואין מצב שהם יוותרו על זה.
הספר הזה היה מתוק, מרגש, כואב, לוהט! מותח, הרגשתי בו הכול וזה מה שאני אוהבת בקיי סי שהיא מעבירה כל כך הרבה תחושות בסיפור אחד והספר הזה הוא ההוכחה לכך שזה נכון לכל ספר שלה. כי אמנם הוא קצר (האורך של כל ספר בסדרה הזו לא עובר את ה300 עמודים) אבל למרות זאת היא לא פיספסה פה כלום. אהבתי שהסיפור היה מותח אבל לא נמשך יותר מידי אלא הלך בדיוק לכיוון שרציתי. בסוף היה עוד קצת מתח ומקרה שהיה לי דיי קשה כי אמאלה פחדתי ממש אבל הכול הסתדר בצורה הטובה ביותר!! הסוף שלהם היה הכי מספק שיש ואני מתה לחוות עוד מהסוף הטוב שלהם בספרים הבאים.
ויש ממש מתח בסוף עם הדמות של קולאן אח של קייטלין, הספר השלישי עליו, כל הספר הזה הוא היה לי כזה בסימן שאלה ולא הבנתי מה הסיפור שלו. אז יש עוד ספר שלם עד שאגיע עליו והוא מסקרן אותי רצח! אבל הספר הבא על קייטלין אחותו. אני מאוד מקווה שיהיה לי תשובות לגביו ..
אני חייבת לציין ולהעריך את האיזכורים של הדמויות מהסדרה הקודמת, זה פשוט היה בין הרגעים הכי כיפיים שקיימים! הם תפסו חלק ניכר בעלילה בעיקר ג׳קסון וזה היה שלמות! וכולם שם כולם! זה היה מושלם, הם כאלה מגוננים ועוד עכשיו שיש להם ילדים זה רק החמיר חחח.

באמת שאני לא יודעת איך לא ניגשתי לסדרה הזו עד עכשיו. קראתי מספיק ספרים של קיי סי לין כדי לדעת שהיא אף פעם לא תאכזב אותי, פשוט בגלל האנגלית קצת נרתעתי. אבל החלטתי לעזוב הכול בצד ולגשת לסדרה הזו. אז התחלתי וניסיתי והאנגלית דיי קלה.
Act of honor היא סדרת ספין אוף על דמויות שהיו בגברים בעלי כבוד. את אנה הכרנו מהספר הראשון היא הייתה בת 14 שנחטפה וחוותה טראומה נוראית, הגברים הצילו אותה והיא נקשרה בעיקר לג׳קסון, תמיד שהיא בסביבתו היא מרגישה מוגנת. בתחילת הספר מתואר איך היא פגשה את לוגן, בינו ובין ג׳קסון יש המון קווי דימיון, גם מהסדרה הקודמת מבינים את זה.
ולוגן אמאלהה הוא הפך לגיבור מספר אחד של אנה וגם לגיבור שלי! קיי סי לין יודעת לכתוב גברים מגוננים ואובססיביים!! ברמה שאני מתאהבת בשנייה, קפצתי מאושר מכל משפט שהגבר הזה הוציא מהפה. הסופרת הזו לא מפסיקה להפתיע אותי כי אם כמה שכל הגברים שהיא כותבת דיי דומים, גיבורים מושלמים ובעלי כבוד, לכל אחד יש את הסיפור שלו ואי אפשר שלא להתאהב בהם.
בהתחלה לקח לי קצת זמן להתאפס על כל הדמויות ולהיכנס לעלילה ולהבין, בגלל באנגלית ובגלל שקראתי את הסדרה הראשונה דיי מזמן. הקצב של של הספר מושלם, מעניין מהעמוד הראשון. לוגן חי עם אחותו ואמא שלו והוא היה צריך לדאוג להם תמיד בגלל שאבא שלו עזב ואמא שלו מכורה לאלכוהול. אני לא רוצה לספר יותר מידי אבל לוגן מסתבך במשהו וניכנס לכלא, כתוצאה מכך אנה נפגעת מהבחירות של לוגן והם לא מתראים 4 שנים, עד שלוגן מקבל הזמנות לצאת, והוא יעשה הכול כדי לצאת מהמקום הנוראי הזה ולקבל הזדמנות להיות שוב עם אנה. הוא יעשה הכול כדי שהיא תסמוך עליו שוב ותהיה שלו. ברגע שאנה גילתה למה הוא היה צריך להסכים כדי לראות אותה שוב היא כעסה, היא פחדה. אני פשוט התאהבתי בה בכל רגע יותר ויותר היא ניסתה להילחם עם ההחלטות שלו אבל בסופו של דבר היא הייתה חייבת להבין שהוא עושה את זה בשביל להיות איתה שוב. אבל היא לא רוצה לאבד אותו שוב. הם קיבלו עוד הזדמנות ואין מצב שהם יוותרו על זה.
הספר הזה היה מתוק, מרגש, כואב, לוהט! מותח, הרגשתי בו הכול וזה מה שאני אוהבת בקיי סי שהיא מעבירה כל כך הרבה תחושות בסיפור אחד והספר הזה הוא ההוכחה לכך שזה נכון לכל ספר שלה. כי אמנם הוא קצר (האורך של כל ספר בסדרה הזו לא עובר את ה300 עמודים) אבל למרות זאת היא לא פיספסה פה כלום. אהבתי שהסיפור היה מותח אבל לא נמשך יותר מידי אלא הלך בדיוק לכיוון שרציתי. בסוף היה עוד קצת מתח ומקרה שהיה לי דיי קשה כי אמאלה פחדתי ממש אבל הכול הסתדר בצורה הטובה ביותר!! הסוף שלהם היה הכי מספק שיש ואני מתה לחוות עוד מהסוף הטוב שלהם בספרים הבאים.
ויש ממש מתח בסוף עם הדמות של קולאן אח של קייטלין, הספר השלישי עליו, כל הספר הזה הוא היה לי כזה בסימן שאלה ולא הבנתי מה הסיפור שלו. אז יש עוד ספר שלם עד שאגיע עליו והוא מסקרן אותי רצח! אבל הספר הבא על קייטלין אחותו. אני מאוד מקווה שיהיה לי תשובות לגביו ..

Having inhaled the 4 titles in the Men of Honor series, I knew this first spin-off read was Anna & Logan’s book—and that there’d likely be a massive “oh shit moment” from the get go.
Jayyyysus, I wasn’t wrong!
I enjoyed Anna & Logan’s story, though it didn’t grip me in its clutches in quite the same way (emotionally) each of the MOH titles did. I think this was because In some ways it felt almost a little “Jax & Julia 2.0”—something, in a very META twist, is a comparison made by both Anna & Logan themselves throughout their story.
So while I didn’t quite get all the heart-pounding-in-anticipation, edge-of-my-seat-anxiety and pulse-racing-with-lust moments I was expecting, their story is nonetheless touching, angsty, sexy-sweet & full of family feels.

Con “Redemption” l’autrice ci regala forse il più bello fra i suoi libri finora pubblicati! Se la serie precedente era già una bellezza per gli occhi della mente, quest’opera, primo volume della saga “Act of honor”, si apprezza maggiormente per la passione che traspare dai protagonisti.
Il romanzo è un romantic suspence ed è narrato dal punto di vista di Anna e Logan; pur essendo il primo volume di una nuova serie consiglio la lettura della saga precedentemente pubblicata, “Men of honor”, poiché all’interno sono presenti tutti i suoi personaggi e aiuta il lettore a capire sia Anna sia il rapporto molto forte che la lega a Jax, suo “fratello”.
Si inizia con Anna e Logan come coppia, e già da lì immaginavo una qualche catastrofe perché non va mai bene se un libro comincia con una coppia già affiatata… e non mi sbagliavo! Anna è un personaggio molto forte, sia caratterialmente sia come vissuto: è una ragazza cresciuta in fretta dopo che a quattordici anni è stata rapita, stuprata e torturata, e ovviamente nulla poi è stato più lo stesso. Logan sarà la sua luce, dopo anni di stress post traumatico, e la sua anima gemella; purtroppo anche lui sarà costretto dalle circostanze, suo malgrado, a spezzarle il cuore. Nonostante ciò, ho apprezzato i tratti dominanti di questo personaggio complicato: la lealtà, il coraggio e lo spirito di sacrificio.
Logan stesso non ha un passato facile, è un ragazzo che si è fatto forza ed è sempre corso in aiuto alla sua famiglia sacrificando i suoi sogni, e lo farà un’ultima volta. Penserete che tutto questo sia abbastanza… e invece no! L’autrice ha messo parecchia carne sul fuoco, è un continuo crescendo di situazioni pericolose, intrighi e passione (tanta) e scene hot ad alto tasso erotico. In alcuni punti la loro storia mi ha commossa, bilanciando bene azione e sentimento; inoltre, ho apprezzato enormemente il messaggio trasmesso: per conoscere una persona bisogna vederla veramente, non limitarsi all’apparenza!
Nel complesso è un romanzo che si legge tutto d’un fiato, e non poteva far altro che lasciarmi più che soddisfatta.
