Harbour of Hope #2

Anchor Point: An Omegaverse Romance

Rate this book
A new omegaverse from Amazon top 40 bestselling author, Hannah Cowan! Book 2 in the Harbour Of Hope series.

I’ve spent years proving to myself that I don’t need a pack. I just didn’t expect getting pregnant on my own to bring one straight to my door.
As an omega, I was raised to believe that finding a pack was the beginning of every happily ever after. I tried that once, and all it taught me was that losing yourself for the sake of being loved isn’t much of a fairytale.

So I built a life that belongs entirely to me instead. A career I love, a clinic dedicated to helping omegas who need it most, and absolutely no plans to hand any part of myself over to an alpha again. There’s only one thing missing.

A baby.

The Everwell Clinic offers me exactly what I one carefully selected alpha, one heat, and no expectations afterward. Until Callum turns out to be far more than just the alpha I chose. And somehow, he isn’t the only one.

Callum, Elias, and Rasmus have found their way into very different corners of my life, and when instincts finally snap into place, I’m left with the one thing I stopped believing I’d ever have.

A pack of three scent-matched alphas who don’t just want to bond me. They want to court me and make room in their lives for a baby that won’t belong to all of them by blood.

I wanted to become a mother. I just never expected to find a family along the way.

“Clover can doubt and worry and fight against what’s already been promised to her, but we’re her pack, and we will be her pack until the end of time.”

✔️MFMM (AOAA) why choose contemporary onegaverse
✔️pregnancy (not accidental)
✔️not his baby/is his baby (the father is in the pack)
✔️hockey star MMC
✔️frenemies to lovers
✔️scent-matched mates
✔️slow burn pack formation
✔️no 3rd act breakup

I have been looking forward to this book since I read the first book in the series and met Clover (FMC) for the first time, and I have to say this book didn’t disappoint (and I think I love it even more than book one which is wild to say because Power Shift is/remains a favorite for me). This is a build-a-pack book, her scent-matched mates are Callum (MMC), Rasmus (MMC), and Elias (MMC), and I love that even though the men are strangers before they meet through Clover, they pretty seamlessly become a pack and there is zero angst regarding the men fighting over her. This is a sweet romance because the love stories that we see play out are so gentle and swoony, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t extremely spicy (it is exactly as spicy as you’d expect a contemporary omegaverse why choose romance to be).

Clover is fiercely independent, and though she has always wanted a pack, she doesn’t trust that anyone will stick around long term and has decided it’s time to stop waiting for her scent matches to find her and become a single mom by choice. Of course, the baby’s father is her scent match, as well as a doctor that she used to work with (she is an OBGYN) who is a frenemy at best, and the sweet golden retriever hockey player that she meets at yoga. The best part about this story (in my opinion) is how gentle the men are in their pursuit of her. They all make it known that they are interested in her for who she is (and not just because of the baby or that biology dictates that they are mates), and they prove it to her every day. Each couple within the pack (Clover and each of the men) has it’s growing pains as they try to figure out personalities and past hurts, but the communication is top-notch.

The men are all swoony and down bad from the start, they just have different ways of showing it. Callum is strong but silent, the kind of alpha who literally runs home when a tree blocks his car during a storm when he is trying to get home to his laboring omega. Elias is book smart and masks his anxiety about the future he wants with his omega with pushing Clover’s buttons but then sends her meals and nausea medicine when he notices she’s struggling. Rasmus is the fun alpha who loves out loud and never holds anything back. They all (all four of them) complement each other perfectly. I didn’t want to put this book down, and I know I will reread it in the future!

Never having read an Omegaverse romance before, I was delighted to get the chance to read Anchor Point. This is the 2nd book in Harbour of Hope series.
Clover an Omega is desperate to become a mum she goes to Everwell fertility clinic to try and get pregnant. Choosing an Alpha to impregnate her. She chooses her Alpha from his scent and is hooked, so he is requested to go to the clinic to mate with her. Luckily for her she does become pregnant.

Clover lives alone, she isn't in a pack and feels as though this will never happen. But within a short space of time she meets three, yes three hunky Alphas, all her scent matches. Each Alpha offeres something different to Clover but equal in their own abilities. Callum her mate at the fertility clinic, Rasmus who she meets at Yoga and Elias who she has known for years, but never realising he is one of her Alphas all this time! They are all willing to take care of her and the baby even though Callum is the baby daddy.
Lots of steamy scenes, Phew get the fans out! Some hot goodness for Clover , she is certainly looked after in that department.
I enjoyed reading about the mating, how it worked in the packs with theit Omegas and the Betas too. How the Aphas accepted one another, even though they were strangers to one another beforehand.

The story moves on with the Alphas and Clover forming a pack, how they all fit together. The baby arriving and how a nest is made The men attentive over Clover, sweet and joyous, no resentment with one another, all easing iinto the pack. Lots of witty moments, fun times and great characters. Look forward to reading more by Hannah in the future especially in the Harbour of Hope series.

This was such a fun and sweet read! I love omegaverse and this was a particularly lovely one.
Independent omega who had given up on finding her mates and decides to have a baby alone. She was so strong and such a badass in her own right!
Enter 3 amazing alphas who sweep her off her feet, but never let her lose that independence. I loved how they wanted her to maintain her choices and respected everything she'd already achieved in her life.
I loved the way they loved her.
It was also nice to see a different angle on the OV plot with industrial strength scent removers being the norm in buildings which makes finding your scent match much more difficult. It's not something I've come across in other stories like this so it was a nice point of difference.
This was my first book by this author and I'm so excited to go back and read Briar's story asap as well as new ones in the future.
Highly recommend for anyone who loves low angst romance, with a really lovely OV pack dynamic and of course all the fun spice that this trope is renowned for.
Thanks to the author for the early read of this book.

Before picking up Anchor Point, make sure you have the time to settle in because this is a THICK book! Hannah delivers a spicy romance wrapped around a journey of fate, love, and finding your people.

Clover is a fierce omega who knows what she wants. I loved watching her set out on her own, only to discover her mate along the way. What impressed me even more was her ability to slow down and take a step back once she realized who ALL her mates were. She was strong enough to know what she needed and not rush the process, which made her such a great FMC.

I loved the idea of Callum and Clover finding each other through fate. Their connection felt like the beginning of something bigger, and I liked how finding Callum helped set the rest of the story in motion. When Cal was declared pack alpha, everything seemed to fall into place, reinforcing just how important he was to the journey. Gruff and reserved at first, Cal grew into a strong leader who was undeniably soft for his girls.

From Eli and Clover’s first meeting, you could sense there was something between them. With scent dampeners in the mix, it made sense that they wouldn't immediately recognize their connection as mates until things started progressing. Eli's caring nature, calm demeanor, and medical background made him such a comforting presence.

And then there's Rasmus, who was just the cutest! A big alpha hockey player who is surprisingly shy and sweet? Sign me up! He brought a lightness to the more stressful moments, and I loved how comfortable he was expressing his emotions and being open about his feelings. He was such a sweetheart with Clover!

Now, let's talk about the spice because THERE IS A LOT OF IT. 🔥 If you love a steamy romance, you definitely won't be disappointed!

Despite its length, Hannah delivers a story that brings everything together. I didn't find myself frustrated by plot holes or unresolved loose ends, and I appreciated how the different relationships and storylines came together to create a satisfying romance.

My one negative thought… could his book have been a little shorter? It took me quite a while to get through, and while I understand that four POVs require more time to develop each character and relationship, there were moments when I would have appreciated a tighter storyline.

Overall, Anchor Point gave me plenty of spice, lovable alphas, a strong FMC, and a satisfying journey to love. If you enjoy fated mates, reverse harem romance, and a whole lot of steam, this one is worth adding to your TBR!

This is the story of Clover Jones, an omega/star OB-GYN doctor, and the formation of her pack with three alphas:
Callum Reid, an introvert paramedic/firefighter who has Gus, an amazing rescue dog as his company.
Dr. Elias Bennett, a top pediatrics surgeon.
Rasmus Eklund, a famous Sweden hockey player.

Together they will live the journey of, after finding the match between them, form their pack in the omegaverse world.
Between a strong, independent and sassy woman, and three protector, obsessed, touch her & d!e men, this story is hot and spicy but also tender and hopeful.
As readers, we're rooting for them, for their bond as a pack in formation, for the strong connection they all share from the very first moment of their pregnancy.
My favorite part was how the writer made three men so different from each other, who previously had nothing in common, come together to support, spoil, and give everything they could and couldn't to this woman who is the mate their dreams.
Callum was undoubtedly my favorite character.

As a personal note, I loved the story, the characters, the world of the omergaverse, the steamy scenes... but I wish this book were shorter.

Releasing today, October 13.

Thank you to the author for this ARC.

This is Book 2 of the Harbour of Hope series!

I was lucky enough to receive as an ARC 🥰

OKAY, BUT A WHY-CHOOSE OMEGAVERSE ROMANCE WITH THREE SCENT-MATCHED ALPHAS, A PREGNANCY AND A SLOW-BURN PACK FORMATION?! Hannah Cowan, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! 😭🔥🫶🏻

Our FMC has spent years building a life that belongs entirely to her. After learning the hard way that love shouldn't mean losing yourself, she's determined to protect her independence, focus on her career and finally become a mother. And honestly? I LOVE a heroine who knows what she wants and refuses to compromise who she is to get it. 🩷🥹

Her plan seems simple enough: one carefully selected alpha, one heat, a baby and absolutely NO expectations afterward.
Except… CALLUM. ELIAS. RASMUS. 👀🔥
Because apparently the universe had other plans!

Callum, Elias and Rasmus each find their way into different corners of her life, and what starts as a decision to become a mother on her own slowly turns into something so much bigger. Three scent-matched alphas who don't just want to bond her, but want to COURT her, love her and build a family with her?! EXCUSE ME WHILE I SCREAM. 😭❤️

What I especially love about this premise is that these men aren't asking her to give up the life she's worked so hard to build. They're offering to make room for her AND her baby. The idea of finding a love that expands your world instead of shrinking it? MY HEART. 🥹🫶🏻

SHE WANTED A BABY. SHE FOUND A PACK. AND MAYBE SHE FINALLY FOUND HOME. 😭🏡💕

🍼 Why Choose OmegaVerse MFMM
🩺 Scent Matches/Fated Mates
🥼 Breeding Clinic
👓 Firefighter MMC/ProHockey MMC/Surgeon MMC
🚒 Size Difference
🧯 Pining
🏒 Independent OB/GYN Omega
🥅 Omega Who Had Given Up On A Pack

Overall, this was a wonderful book! Happy ever after! Scent matches. Wonderful Alphas who would do anything for their Omega. And these Alphas are wonderful!

I did get very irritated with Clover, our FMC, during parts of this book. I am not a fan of miscommunication and her resistance to her scent matches and these amazing men wanting to help- well, I wanted to scream at her. A few times to be honest. Yes, she eventually sees the light and stops being so dang stubborn. She allows these amazing men to help and do what they are begging to do- care for their mate. That’s just a pet peeve of mine. Not a reflection of the writing at all. She did have some trauma from past relationships but I despise a character punishing another for sins from a past relationship. But trauma…I get it.

Anyway! I LLLOOOVVVEEE the size difference trope and it’s done so well in this book! These men tower over their Omega and they shelter her and carry her. And use their size to everyone’s benefit.

There wasn’t an established pack. The pack establishes over time and these Alphas connecting- perfection. The banter is top tier and the group texts are hilarious.

The spice is SPICY!! 🥵 Lots of great team work! 😉

Absolutely recommend!!

“You take care of the things you love. That’s my reason for being here. I’ve grown to believe it’s what I was born to do,” he whispers, sounding so content. “Knowing that I’m taking care of you and our baby makes me happy, Starfall.”

The sweetest omegaverse romance 🥹❤️ This one was packed with so many heartfelt moments and ALL the found family feels.

I loved all three of Clover’s men so much! They were each so uniquely different, but somehow came together to create the perfect pack for her.

Callum is the gruff firefighter who doesn’t say much, but his actions speak volumes. I loved how much he respected Clover’s boundaries… although sometimes I wanted to shake him and tell him to make a move already 😂

Then there’s Elias, the doctor who has known Clover for years and has always wanted her, but genuinely believed she hated him. Watching that slowly unravel was so sweet, especially when you realise just how much he’s been holding back.

And Rasmus?! My happy go lucky golden retriever hockey player 🥹 He just radiates pure happiness and was impossible not to love. He brought such a fun, sunshine energy to the pack.

I especially loved Clover’s journey. She was fiercely independent and didn’t want to feel like she needed anyone, but I loved watching her realise that these men never wanted to control her or take away her independence. They simply wanted to support her, be there for her and give her a safe place to lean when she needed them.

The found family aspect was such a huge highlight for me too. There was just something so warm and comforting about watching Clover find her place and build a family with these men.

A genuinely sweet, heartfelt and cosy omegaverse romance with three very different MMCs who each brought something special to Clover’s life.

Thank you so much to Hannah for the ARC.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I have been WAITING for another book in this series! I read the first book last year and was so sad that it was a new series with no other books published yet because I need so much more. I didn't think the combination of sports romance with omegaverse would work for me, but I was so pleasantly surprised that I loved it.

This book centers around Clover, an OBGYN doctor that we met in book 1 as she decides to pursue motherhood alone. She takes the proverbial bull by the horns and decides that she doesn't want to wait to find her pack to become a mother. Her prior experiences as you might imagine were poor examples of what good alphas should be, and she doesn't have the time or energy to try to keep dating in the awful pool that is available. Of course, just as she starts to go down this path, there are not one, but three alphas that come out of the woodwork as her scent matches and so begins their very sweet yet VERY SPICY courtship even has she navigates pregnancy. And the alphas could not have been more perfect for her! A surgeon who has been her "rival" but secretly obsessed with her from day one, a search & rescue firefighter who gets the lucky draw of being her partner at the breeding clinic, and a hot AF Swedish hockey player that she stumbles into at the yoga studio.

Clover's hesitations and struggles to accept help as a successful woman in her field are so SO relatable. I firmly believe that Hannah writes the best FMC's that are not only badass, but also highly relatable in the current (very sad) dating pool for successful women. I loved seeing Clover's walls come down one by one, and that moment of hard-earned acceptance is so much the sweeter for it. This book is filled with a cup of sugar, a pound of spice (pun intended), and everything else nice & cozy. If you love a why choose (MFMM) omegaverse like I do, this is a definite must read!

I received a free eARC of this book from the Author, thank you so much! All opinions and thoughts expressed are entirely my own, here is my completely honest review:

I loved this book! The fact that Rasmus is Swedish was so much fun for me since I'm a swede myself! The first time I saw that his last name was Eklund I said to myself: Is he Swedish? And yes he is. I liked that the candy mentioned is one of my favorites and I actually bought some yesterday just because I started craving it.

I haven't read an Omegaverse book where the guys aren't a part of their own pack before meeting their omega. I really liked that Clover was what everyone had in common and that the alphas were strangers before her.

The banter between the guys in the pack was also incredible and I found myself with a big grin om my face for most of the book. One of my favorite things about the whole book is how independent Clover is. She is choosing what she wants and couldn't care less about what everyone else thinks about her choices, she isn't putting her life on pause for the perfect man to come into her life and that's how it should be.

This was my first Hannah Cowan book and I'll definitely go back to reading the first one in this series because I already love Briar and can't wait to see her in her own book. Also I do agree that fated mates is the superior trope.

Once again, thank you for the free eARC in exchange for my honest review!

Anchor Point
Harbour of Hope Book Two
Written by Hannah Cowan

Reading an omegaverse is like coming home. I eat up the found family. The variety of tropes, because there are so many people involved, makes me giddy. Hannah did not mess around with this one. I fell hard for each of these alphas. Most importantly I was inspired by Clover because she proves that she can be a badass with a man or men.

They're like puzzle pieces that were meant to fit together. They each give each other something they're missing before whether it's something they knew was missing or something that they didn’t want to admit was missing and needed. I love that once the alphas realized who she is to them, they were all willing to go above and beyond for her. To make life easier for her, but also understand that she is independent and they don't want to take from that. As much as she can do everything on her own, she shouldn't have to. Swoon!

Omegaverse / Frenemies to Lovers / Not his Baby + His Baby

I may not be someone who doesn’t frequently dip into the omegaverse, this one really caught my attention. Honestly I think it really was the way the pregnancy trope was done in this book. It was done so well and in a way that felt like it held an important part in story without being the only thing the book was about. I loved the dynamic of all three men and the different ways they all met Clover. It added more depth to each of them and really brought their story to another level. One of my favourite things about Clover is that even with all the men in her life she doesn’t back down, she doesn’t let them do everything. She keeps her independence and fierceness from start to finish. Callum is seriously chefs kiss, handsome, fire fighter/search and rescue adjacent. When he leads the pack, let me tell you he knows that he’s doing. Then Rasmus joins the picture as this underdog of sorts. His connection with Clover feels very well built and the way that this family is written into the story is so precious. Then Eli walks up with his sorted frenemies history with Clover. He does this sudden, but purposeful flip with her and goes down bad for her. Honestly he’s always been but kept it under wraps. This book was smutty, heart felt, and a fantastic read. Honestly it kept me engaged and wanting more from start to finish. I almost sat and read it cover to cover!

Hannah Cowan was (k)not playing around with this book. The tension between the characters was amazing and created so much depth to the story and character arcs. I loved getting to see Clover in her element and be the complete bad*SS that she is.

This story was totally not what I was expecting when I was going into it. I knew it was pack formation and pregnancy but the way everything happened was so unique and really fit with the character dynamics.

I loved the dynamics created between Clover, Rasmus, Callum, and Elias. Cowan did a great job creating each relationship dynamic different, while also making sure that they complimented each other when creating the pack.

Clover making these men work for it was everything and I loved that she truly wanted to see if they would show up for her and not just because she was pregnant or her scent match. I loved how independent she was and how fierce she fought for what she believed in.

Rasmus was the perfect balance in the pack with Elias and Callum. His sunshine demeanour helped create another level to the pack. Callum’s natural leadership abilities and strength made him the quintessential alpha. Elias’ wit and yearning gave another level to the relationships that developed. I liked how there were moments of slight jealousy before the formation that felt natural but also they realized they were all there for the same reason. The way they worked together and worshipped Clover was everything.

I liked how Briar and the Montgomery pack was also a part of this story. They added another layer and dynamic to the story. I loved the friendship and bond between Briar and Clover. They truly are so important to each other’s story and growth.

This story was so much fun to read and I cannot wait to see what’s to come.

✨ARC Review✨

3⭐ for Anchor Point by Hannah Cowan

I love Hannah Cowan, but unfortunately this one wasn't my cup of tea; it just confirmed for me that fated mates and pregnancy storylines are not my favorite.

I actually loved all three MMCs, they were all attractive in their own ways, and I loved the way they were deeply gone for Clover, but I wish that devotion had been earned; it was very much an instalove/instalust situation, and I missed that buildup of chemistry that comes with a slower burn.

For me, the smut-to-plot ratio was completely off, there was just so much smut throughout this book, I felt like the plot got lost along the way. I enjoy smut in my romances, but I need a good plot to balance things out and I didn't get that here; instead I found myself skimming some smut scenes just to get through them.

I enjoy Hannah's writing a lot, and in the beginning I thought I could love this book, but it lost me along the way. I think fans of fated mates and omegaverse will love it, even if I personally didn't.

Thank you to Hannah Cowan for a copy in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

I have been WAITING for this release ever since one of my friends introduced me to power shift. I feel head over heels in LOVE and that was my first EVER Hannah Cowan book, so this series has a very special place in my heart.

I think for this pack Callum was my favorite, i have a soft spot for firefighters- to any EMT paramedic first responder types in my romances. In this case diva is a fireifighter. He also is a man who clearly puts boundaries and consent over all else which I ADOREEEEEEE. He’s such a real man. However, even with im being my favorite I loved everyone in the pack dearly. Elias- it was so fun watching him kinda come apart. It was a hate/dislike to love type of situation and was so so fun to follow. Also- bonus points cause he’s a doctor-hehehe. Then we have our golden retreiver hockey boy! Rasmus was so fun and energetic in my heart he carried a lot of the story. The three men formed and molded this pack around clover as she learns to balance her independence and free spirit with her needs and with love. These men loved her and her independence adn her spark, she just needed to give them a chance.

I received anchor point as an arc from Hannah and her team
4.25 stars!

Power Shift was my first omegaverse, and I’ve been impatiently waiting for Anchor Point ever since! And let me tell you, Hannah did NOT disappoint! 😮‍💨🔥

I absolutely loved Clover and the fact that she knew she didn’t need an Alpha (or a man in general) to have everything she ever wanted. She was more than capable of building the life she dreamed of on her own, and I loved that she chose what she wanted rather than what anyone else expected of her. 🥹❤️

Now, Callum… 🫠🤌🏻 My favourite! I absolutely LOVE his quiet broodiness and his protectiveness. There’s just something about a broody, protective Alpha that gets me every single time. 🤭😂

I also really enjoyed that, despite being scent matches, they didn’t rush straight into bonding. I loved watching their relationship develop at its own pace, even though I was simultaneously impatiently waiting for that bond to happen! 😂 The anticipation was SO worth it.

And the spice? 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Hannah NEVER disappoints! Especially when knots are involved. 😈🥵

Safe to say, I’m officially obsessed with this series, and I need more immediately! 💕

This book truly has my whole heart♥️

I love Omegaverses and Hannah has delivered another amazing story full with all the things one would want in a omegaverse and more and put a spin on it that I had never read in the sense. Instead of a fully formed pack of alphas and betas we had an omega who found all of her alphas in unlikely places at a time where she didn’t think that she was going to find anyone.

This book is for anyone who likes breeding/planned pregnancy and isn’t opposed to it happening because the FMC decided that she was ready for a baby, even if that meant going to a breeding clinic. Clover is such a strong and independent woman, who has a career and everything she has worked so hard for, the only thing that she is missing is a pack, but when she loses hope in ever finding something decent but really wants to be a mother herself, she decides that she can do it on her own. And that is one of the things I adored and admired so much about her, she knew what she wanted and she took that for herself and even when she met her alphas, she remained as strong and independent as before and the guys always supported her in that and only wanted to help her instead of taking her independence away.

And speaking of the guys, while all three, Rasmus, Elias, and Cal have my heart and I adored them all for who they were - from Rasmus, the Swedish hockey player that Clover met at yoga and who bought the baby a Swedish baby book, to Elias, whom Clover had known for a long time since he is also a doctor and who she always seemed to but heads with, and Cal, the firefighter who is the father of the baby - Cal truly has my entire heart. I simply adored how he was this very lonely and reclusive guy, who only really spends his time at work with little to no friends, that found a family throughout this book and people who loved and trusted him enough to look to him for guidance when it came to pack decisions.

There are so many other things that make this book amazing, but I do think those are always best enjoyed and discovered by reading them for the first time, so I’ll leave you with the advice to pick this book up and enjoy falling in love with this pack as much as I have.

How much can I praise this why choose Omegaverse?!! I loved every minute of it! Clover, I already loved from book 1, and seeing her find happiness was just a beautiful experience! And these boys!!! I AM IN LOVE! I cried so many times because my heart was so full!

I literally drooled over every single one of these MMCs! Callum……so freaking thoughtful and hot, we cannot forget hot! Rasmus was such a sweetheart with a huge heart and so fun, plus you cannot go wrong with a yummy hockey player 😉! And finally, the banter that Eli and Clover had was everything! I loved how much he changed and realized how dumb he was 🤭! To sum up…the men are outrageously hot, with dirty mouths, and the spice was beyond spicin’!

This was literally a perfect cozy Omegaverse read for me! Amazing characters with engaging and compelling personalities, a wonderful plot, and I also loved it took place in Canada!! (Also, loved the devotion of the MMCs to Clover and baby! The sweetest thing ever!!) So excited for the next book! 🙌

Clover has built her life around herself and her needs, and now she’s ready to embrace motherhood on her own too. Her newly discovered scent matches though, have zero plans to stand aside and let her remain alone.

This story was beautiful and made me laugh and kick my feet while also making my eyes water and make me kind of want to shake multiple characters (but I digress). I love an independent woman, and I respect the heck out of Clover’s journey throughout this book as she navigates becoming a mother, discovering her separate scent matches, and trying to let them in while also being aware of how her child affects all of it.

Her alphas are 🤌absolute chefs kiss - they’re SO different from each other and bring completely different viewpoints and skills to the table, BUT don’t let those differences keep them from sitting at the table and worshipping their woman.

If you’re an omegaverse fan who loves the ooey gooey AND the spice, and pregnancy romance, you cannot skip this read🙇‍♀️❤️

Anchor point!

I love me an omegaverse book!
I absolutely loved there story!. I mean the first of her alphas she got to know as we can say I mean come on now!! They were connected and he was just too good! we all wanted that for her we knew he was the one! That she should’ve picked Who doesn’t dream of a hunky fireman!!!
This wasn’t the typical she found her pack or the pack found her type deal , they found and built the pack as it all came along and like a puzzle its was pieced together! I thought it was fun and interesting how each alpha was so different from one another. what they all had in common was there Omega clover and giving her what she needs form each of them. Cal loved her so deeply and to be honest he’s my personal fav! Ras was the gentle giant clovers personal ray of sunshine, and Eli’s was always carring and sweet on her! It was fun to see how clover was with each of them and how they all became the a pack!

Hannah has done it again with her second omegaverse book. I loved everything put into this story. Clover was headstrong and independent from the very beginning and didn't let that waver once Callum, Elias and Rasmus were involved.

Those 3 alphas were opposites of each other and I loved that. The way that Hannah described each of their unique scents made it feel like you were Clover in the story. I don't blame Clover for wanting all three of them because they were just utter perfection. Like, who wouldn't want a firefighter, doctor, and hockey player fawning all over them?

It was great to see Briar and the Montgomery pack make special appearances in Anchor Point.

Incredibly thankful to be a part of Hannah's influence team to receive such incredible stories. Thank you Hannah for the ARC of Anchor Point. I enjoyed my time going back into the Harbour of Hope series and cannot wait for book 3 (not going to spoil who book 3 will be about). I can't wait to see where you take that one!

**ARC REVIEW**
Ahh I enjoyed this one so much more than the first book in the series!! It was so cute!! I loved all the characters. Clover was so relatable, and I loved her journey and learning to put her walls down and that it’s okay for others to help her. I loved all three men so much! They were each so uniquely different but somehow came together perfectly. Callum was grumpy but so sweet, respectful, and caring. Elias was also so sweet and protective of Clover and the baby. I loved their banter with each other. Ras was such a golden retriever and brought all the fun and humor to the pack. He was also so sweet. I loved watching how they all fit together perfectly and especially loved how the boys were so open to giving this a shot. I mean, come on the group chat?! I was laughing so hard! I really enjoyed this book and just loved their family dynamic so much!

Thank you Hannah for this ARC for an honest review 🫶🏻

Anchor Point completely pulled me in! This omegaverse romance had such an interesting setup, especially with a heroine who has worked so hard to build an independent life after deciding she doesn’t need a pack. But when her plans to become a mother lead her to three very unexpected alphas, everything she thought she wanted starts to change.

I really loved the found-family feeling throughout this story. Watching her navigate her feelings for Callum, Elias, and Rasmus while trying to hold onto the life she created for herself made this such an emotional and addictive read. The chemistry, slow burn, and scent-matching added an extra layer that kept me turning the pages, and I loved seeing the relationships develop in their own ways.

If you love why choose, omegaverse, pregnancy romance, hockey romance, slow burn, and multiple alphas, definitely add Anchor Point to your TBR! 🩷 This was such a fun and swoony read, and Hannah Cowan once again delivered a romance that made it very easy to get attached to the characters.

I’m in love with the little town of Harbour of Hope!

🧡Omegaverse
🧡Pregnant Omega (NOT an accidental pregnancy)
🧡MFMM
🧡Slow burn pack formation

Do you know what's even crazier than a not his baby trope? It’s an it’s his baby, but they met through the heat clinic when she was trying to have a baby on her own after past pack trauma trope. Is that a thing? Well it is now, thanks to Hannah Cowan. After giving up on finding her pack, Clover’s determined to go it alone. Turns out the mystery alpha she’s selected via scent and professional profiles is her scent match.

We get two more scent matches in the form of a little frenemies to lovers action when who she thought was her med school rival turns out to be a scent match as well. We’ve got a doctor in the house. And a professional hockey player. Buckle up for this wild ride.

This was my first omegaverse where the pack wasn’t already formed so it was cool to see how Clover meets each of her guys and then watch everyone get to know each other and decide to be pack.

I really enjoyed how Clover has a passion for both her career as an OB/GYN and being a mother and didn’t sacrifice either dream. I love how each of the guys bring something different to pack even though it took a minute for Cal and Eli to realize it didn’t need to be a competition of who could be better for Clover. Ras of course was ready for pack life from the get go.

The only drawback for me was that I was a little overwhelmed by the number of sex scenes. It makes sense with this being a pregnancy omegaverse book but I could have done with a few less.

Thank you to Hannah Cowan and her team for the eARC! All views are my honest opinion.

This is the second book in the Harbour of Hope Series.
I’m pretty new to the omegaverse trope but I really enjoyed this book. I loved that Clover decided to take charge of her own life and go to a breeding clinic after past disappointments with trying to find a pack. She knows what she wants and takes the steps she needs to build the life she wants. Along the way she ends up meeting her scent matches and their pack forms. This book was sweet and spicy. Her mates could not be more different but together they become a very close strong pack. Can’t wait to see what happens for Duke and Sadie ❤️

I received an ARC from the author but all opinions are my own and honest.

Thank you Hannah & Cassie for sending me an advanced readers copy of anchor point 🧡 I am so beyond grateful, Anchor Point was an incredible second book in the Harbour of Hope Series and can’t wait to get my hands on Sadie’s book!!

I know I say it every single time I read a book by Hannah but I genuinely believe she could write a shopping list and I would read it! She writes incredible stories with hot spice 🥵

I always love a book with a strong independent FMC but Clover really has my heart! And the men 🥵 they yearn they have filthy mouths and they show her that although she’s strong enough to do life alone she doesn’t need to!
