We are back in Montana where the three Cole brothers, sons of a famous rockstar, have found love. This time, the story belongs to Eddie Cole, the fifty-six year old rockstar and father of the Cole brothers. Eddie has returned to Montana to rebuild a relationship with his sons. Sons he left with his sister when his wife abandoned them all and he was a rising star. But now that he’s older, he knows it’s time to truly connect with his “boys” and their loved ones. Olivia Pendleton is a local who loves the town and its people. She’s divorced with a daughter that is a doctor, and works at the local radio station. In her teens she was a huge fan of Eddie’s , so when her bff gets her a poster of the rockstar and tells her to get it autographed, she goes to the music store. That meeting and after it, has Eddie wondering if he finally found the woman for him. While Olivia is smitten with Eddie, life with a celebrity might not be for her. Their past experiences, marriages and life might both benefit and hamper their future. Will they risk taking a chance on a future together or will fear keep them each going their separate ways? This was a sweet and touching story about second chances in life and love for two individuals in their 50s. A lovely addition to the series and a very sweet conclusion to the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by Tule Publishing via BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own A perfect story about two older very different people finding love unexpectedly, “Montana Christmas Ever After”, by Kaylie Newell, is also a compelling insight into fame, stardom and the value of anonimity. I loved the leads, Eddie and Olivia, their backstories, and the way the romance happens so fluidly. The humor is great, too. Eddie is a very sexy gramps. His kindness, earnestness, and caring nature coexist with the the celebrity traits, some a bit ridiculous (always wears silk shirts, leather pants…), but who cares? I liked the fact that despite the charisma and fame he’s so unassuming, and deals with the public scrutinity and lack of privacy rather well. I enjoyed the dream coming true for Olivia. For Eddie it’s also a much deserved and desired outcome, a balm for his lonely soul. The antecipation, desire, longing are superbly written. It was great meeting again the brothers and their families. What a great series! Perhaps another story featuring Olivia’s daughter…

A wonderful addition to The Cole Brothers series. Montana Christmas Ever After is book four in the series by Kaylie Newell. I hope there is more to come with these characters. I really enjoyed the story about Olivia and Eddie. I hated for the book to end the author really gave you a heart-warming storyline. The story grabbed me from the first page and didn’t want to let go. A sure top read for me.
What an enjoyable read. It was so easy for me to get all wrapped up in this story right from the start, a rock star meets the mother of his doctor and the woman is a fan who has one of his posters he volunteers to sign for her and ZING it had me from this beginning right to the last page.
