Poppy and Pansy
Lady Mulholland’s two youngest daughters, Poppy and Pansy Granger, have finally come of age. It was their governess’s opinion that they’d taken their time about it, and they had. Now, though, there was no denying the twins were two proper young ladies. It was time to think about gentlemen that might suit.
And therein lay the problem. The two ladies had never been separated in their lives and nobody in the Granger family could quite imagine how it would be. Those concerned relations became determined to locate two equally suitable gentlemen of the right age, as yet unmarried, who lived conveniently nearby one another. After all, how hard could that be?
Rather hard, as it happened. However, two gentlemen are finally identified. Using winding and thin connections, both are invited to Chemsworth.
Richard Whiting, Viscount Burkhart and heir to the Earl of Westport is a strapping young man. Eminently eligible and sure to please. Mr. Lelander, heir to Viscount Pepperdon is suave and sophisticated, everything to be admired. Most ideally, they live but six miles from one another.
If all is to proceed well, each gentleman will become besotted with one of the twins, the twins will each become besotted with one of the gentlemen, and the besotted parties will be besotted by the right person rather than the one who is besotted by the other one. What could go wrong?
The two gentlemen might live six miles apart, but one resides on the Yorkshire side of the county lines, the other lives on the Lancashire side, and feelings regarding the Roses War still run deep in those neighborhoods. Very, very deep.
Two gentlemen whose families are generational enemies, a violent snowstorm, a robbery, a mysterious baron turning up, a leaving and coming again, ice steps, and gin in a pump-can add up to the usual shenanigans in Chemsworth Hall.

Brilliant end to a fantastic series
I really wondered how the story of Pots and Pans would end. The irrepressible twins have an amazing adventure. Just funny and adorable.

Poppy and Pansy have been inseparable since birth; they are troublemakers of the first order. However, in the previous book, Mr. Beau Brummel took the two girls in hand and taught them the finer points of being subtle and elegant.
Because the girls are mirror twins, they finish each other's thoughts and are extremely close. Thus, the idea is to find two men (for them to marry) who live close together so the twins can continue their close relationship. Nice thought, but trouble occurs. These two men are still fighting the War of the Roses. One man is Lancastrian, and the other is a Yorkshire man.
When the two men realize they are in love with one of the twins, they realize there must be a truce between the families, or the twins will not marry either man. However, the hard feelings had been entrenched for 400+ years, and it would not be simple to change hearts and minds.
This is a wonderful ending to a delightful and witty series. I enjoyed every page.

Sorry to see this series end
Archer remains one of my favorite authors in this genre despite her grammatical errors. Her lighthearted style, her amusing characters and their situations, and firm hand in telling a riveting story keep me coming back to reread her previous series until the next one starts.
Poppy and Pansy were a huge entertainment in each book as their sisters fell in love and wed. And it was satisfying to see how these two ended up. It was hard to watch them fall into despair when they believed all was lost.
It was also fun to see the intrepid butler establish his legacy for future generations at the Hall.
I will miss the doings of this family. They were unique in so many ways. But it will be lovely to revisit the whole thing in a year or two when I've forgotten enough to enjoy a fresh reread.

The appropriate and enjoyable Chelmsworth Hall ending
I almost stopped reading this series halfway through, because a couple of the plots were pretty far-fetched, even though the execution was always amusing. This book ties up all the loose ends in a delightful manner, we get to see how each of the other sisters is doing and the twins’ maturing into adulthood is very well handled. Archer gives them distinct personalities. the romance plot is a bit less forward than in some of the other books because of a very engaging sub plot and all the catching up. They’re almost seemed to be hence that a couple of the grandsons might feature in future installments. But the epilogue indicates that this is the end of that story world. As is fitting, because by the time they are old enough to court, the Regency period will be over.

Wonderful!
Terrific book- -Great series! Never met a Kate archer book I didn't love. Loved the book. Love the series. Some books you smile and are happy. All Kates books do this for me. Read the series straight thru. Lived at Chatsworth with all the characters ,sisters, family, mates, fabulous butler or housekeeper who I expect in her books. cheered on each one. Always sad and happy for last page,to see the what's what. But will miss my book family. The one cheer is its lovely to read a book for the first time.But every Kate Archer book I will read again and again. Smile ,laugh find love and greet my other family.

Wonderful series
All six Chemsworth Hall books are delightful reads. The Granger sisters and how they meet their husbands are very entertaining. The characters are memorable and the supporting characters are wonderful, adding to the humor and overall eccentricity of the family.

DELIGHTFUL!
I’m sad to see the end of the Chemsworth Hall series. The romance of Pots and Pans ends this great series. I loved the gin gun that the butler defends the house with. This is such a good series written with humor and whimsy. I will particularly miss Pots and Pans as they were the source of much laughter throughout the series.

Excellent
What a truly wonderful series this has been! I have laughed out loud till tears have flowed and have felt the sympathy of the characters. Delightful 😊 storylines through out the series. I looked forward to each new book and now I think that I will start them over to read back to back to savor the fun again! Highly recommend this series to you!

This was a splendid final book in a highly enjoyable series. The book satisfactorily wraps up all characters’ storylines, with the author’s usual wit sprinkled throughout. There were some fresh plot lines and some enjoyable over-the-top scenarios. I loved the Chemsworth Hall series and felt the writing got better and better with each new book.

SPOILER ALERT! Pots and Pans were still hilarious and it was so good to see the next generation would carry on the crazy! I will miss them all so much tho! I want to read Smuckers account of his defense of the house!

What a Finale!
Wonderfully silly ending to a very enjoyable and silly series. I love it when an author of historical romance adds humor. Ms. Archer did an excellent job with this series and its ending!

Definitely the weakest book of the series. Kind of fun, but the romance was instantaneous, and the conflicts were silly. The best part was Mr. Smuckers getting his moment.

The conclusion of series done well
This sixth book was very humorous and it rewarding to see the family saga have a happy ending. Very entertaining and light hearted.

A cute ending to the series however it was a lot to read about two couples in one book. It makes sense since this is the twin’s story, but it left the romance very surface level.
