Greer Maskell is a Hawaii-based author whose debut novel draws on a lifelong question about identity, loss, and what it means to find yourself after early separation. The Actor with No Script is the story she was always ment to tell.
Greer grew up on the East Coast before finding her home in Waikiki, Hawaii where she runs her own auto repair shop and spends her free time surfing, hiking, cooking, and doing what she loves most-making people smile.
But beneath the salt air and engine grease, Greer has carried a life-long question: what happens to a childs sence of self when loss arrives to early.
Having experienced adoption and loss of her own family, Greer became deeply curious about how early seperation shapes identity-not just in childhood, but across an entire life. Finding her own family and seeing their struggles with disconnection of self the story she needed to tell had it's shape.
The Actor with No Script is the result-a debut novel years in the making and a life-long dream realized. It is Greer's way of showing the world that loss at a young age doesn't just leave a mark, it rewrites the script entirely.

I loved the book. It had some really fresh ideas and a very original style and tone. I laughed, I cried it brought out a gambet of emotions. I recommend to anyone looking for a slow burning mystery that grabs you right away
