Mixed feelings. It was nice to see Kasper and Emilia again. They are quite the interesting couple. But this story felt a bit all over the place. It raised important issues, but the approach was odd at times. The conclusion was satisfactory, and I still like them as a couple and felt like they grew throughout the novel. But I wished there was a bit more to the ending. Seemed like we were shorted a chapter or two, or just an epilogue. It's been three books. We deserved an epilogue :(

Not as good as the first book in the series... but still a satisfying conclusion to this series.
