Moreau makes a monster, Kurtz stirs the masses, and Toomey gets lucky in the most unlucky way possible. Vampirella kisses a boy, storms the Council and fights a Bat-Man. Sex, violence, and everyone is wearing goggles for some reason.
This was, by far, my favorite one in the Vampirella storyline so far. In the last two the author seems to have embraced the story more, rather than just Vampirella smash, and it was needed. Vampirella shows weakness and cunning in this, humanizing the vampire that is the last of her kind, while still making her the hero this story needs.
This was better than previous issues, but it's still not doing anything for me. It's good that she's developing some character beyond ME THRASH EVERYONE, but it might be too little, too late.
