There's just something amazing about reading the right book at the right time and that was what happened to me with this book. I was already in the middle of multiple books, but suddenly knew I wanted to read this book and so I did. And I just really loved this book. It was the exact right vibe for my current mood and I really enjoyed reading it.
Fates & Family is the third book in this series. It follows Sable who is the Shopkeeper for a magical shop, she's trying to free the Cat from his burden of being bound to the shop and she has a little dragon called Indigo she takes care of. There are some ongoing bigger plot lines, but a lot of the book is just daily life cozy scenes about them handling the shop. And I like how even with some of the overarching plot lines, there is still plenty of the shop scenes as well. And then there are all these little hints and scenes that eventually build up toward bigger things and revelations. And this book had a whole bunch of those big revelations at the end. I was so excited to finally get some of those answers and see how Sable handled it all and I can't wait for the next book to see more of how it all turns out.
Sable is getting a lot more familiar and comfortable with her magic in this one and it was great to see. I also liked seeing how she introduced Indigo to online schooling. I really like all the characters in this book. Indigo has such a clear distinct voice in my mind and her personality really pops. Same with the Cat and Sable, they feel alive and real. And it's such a joy reading about these characters and seeing what they get up to. I also like seeing more of Betty, the shop, and how they handle things. Betty is such an interesting character and there's just something so fun about the sentient building trope. And Lorestone was such a fun new character in this one.
I really enjoyed my time reading this book. It's fun seeing Sable and the shop help people who need it and all the interesting characters they meet along the way. The title of this book is very fitting with more focus on the fates and Sable figuring out her Fate magic as well as the role of family, both the one you're born into as well as found family. There are some great scenes involving Sable's family as well as seeing how close Sable is to Indigo, the Cat and Betty, they really have formed a great found family.
To summarize: I loved this book! It was the perfect book for my current reading mood and I had such a great time reading this one. I like how cozy and light-hearted the book feels with a lot of the scenes involving daily life at the magical shop and seeing the characters interact. Marvelous fantasy adventure
The worldbuilding is amazing, the characters are fascinating and loveable, and Sable is a wonderful narrator. The story is well-written, heartwarming, funny, thrilling, a little scary at times, and surprising. The Cat is not himself, which causes everyone to worry (thus, a little scary). The visitors to the shop are varied and magical. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and glad there will be a fourth book.

Fates & Family by Toni Binns is the third book in the Meow: Magical Emporium of Wares series. I have had the great privilege or ARC read each book of this lovely story and I am absolutely grateful.
In the magical world of Meow: Magical Emporium Wares you get cozy, found family, chosen family, character growth, hardship, and the need to trust and rely on another even when things get tough. The characters in this world are well written and just lovely to be around. Every book I get the opportunity to see Sable, The Cat, and Indigo grow and adapt. Every book their bonds grow stronger and they all become wiser; it really is amazing to be on that journey with them as you read.
I can’t say it is too often that I get caught off-guard and surprised by a book these days, but Toni Binns sure surprised me plenty of times.. Especially in the last 25% of Fates & Family. I really need book four stat. I really need to know how the rest of this plays out. I need to know more about The Cat and Sable’s family.
If you enjoy found/chosen family and a cozy fantasy where the characters do have growth and their bonds continue to deeper as the story continues; then you need to read this. Although, I will warn you. Be prepared for cravings. This is my third book, and I think it is at this point safe to say that this can’t be good for my waistline. This girl loves her warm beverages and the best of times to feel cozy.

I absolutely loved this third instalment of the Magical Emporium of Wares (MEOW) series.
It is the ultimate cosy fantasy series, one that I can’t stop thinking about and I need the final book now to see how it ends.
In this book we’re reunited with Sable, Cat, Indy and Betty, along with our favourite regulars the dragon clans, Molly & her dad, plus lots of new characters.
I absolutely love Indigo. She is just the cutest little dragon and I wish she was my ward. I love watching her grow and learn.
The Cat is still full of mystery and secrets as usual. He’s very freaked out that the book isn’t telling him what is happening and there’s far too many unexpected surprises. He only wants to protect Sable from his fate but he needs to start communicating with her and trusting her.
Sable is such a strong FMC. I love how her magic is growing and she’s becoming stronger. She’s torn between the shop and her family and I really feel for her.
This book was super cosy and it always makes me want bacon and a nice cup of coffee (IYKYK 😂) We get to learn more about the Cat, Fates, dragons and Sable’s role in it all. It’s exciting now that the pieces are all coming together. The last quarter of the book was intense. One particular moment my jaw literally hit the floor. I literally cannot wait for book 4.
Overall, this was a 5⭐️ read for me. I love this series and can’t recommend it enough.

We get to see Sable continue in her role as shopkeeper with some twists and turns along the way. We meet some new characters, receive further glimpses into Sable’s family, and get to see some other familiar faces along the way as well.
Hints at added things going on within some of the smaller characters help with furthering why we love Sable so much.
We also get to see her magic grow.

I always get a little nervous going into the next book in a series I love because I don't want it to lose the magic, but this was such a lovely return to the world.
By book three, these characters really do feel like old friends, and I think that's the biggest strength of this series. I wasn't reading because I needed huge plot twists, I was reading because I just wanted to spend more time with these people. It's cosy, heartwarming and exactly the kind of fantasy I love curling up with.
I did notice a few editing inconsistencies that occasionally pulled me out of the story, but they never stopped me wanting to keep reading. I was far too invested in the characters and the world by that point!
I don't think I'm ready to say goodbye to these characters yet, so finding out there's going to be a fourth book made me ridiculously happy. I'll definitely be back.

This installment gave us a bit more plot relevant stuff sprinkled in amongst the usual rounds of the shop…and oh man, do NOT read this book while hungry! Every time Sable cooked something, I wanted to cook it too! And maybe add in an extra mug of coffee as well…

The team has definitely become a family as the pretty detailed daily duties format continues. Cat has a surprise for Sable that ends up being even more than expected. The Fates Book that has directed Cat for many years is no longer working the same and Cat is not coping well at all. Sable on the other hand has found more magic and can see more Threads of Fate than ever before. Then Cat makes a huge error and it all falls apart. It's up to Sable to set it all right and get the team back in place with some very relevant changes. An unexpected Book 4 will wrap it all up. Looking forward to it.

This series has become an automatic preorder for me. As cosy as a book-filled coffee shop, Toni Binns' books have stayed with me during some very dark times, offering kindness, magic and hope through golden threads that reach out from its pages.
As always, this is another joy to read, and to know there's still one more yet to come is a mix of frustrating (having to wait!) and anticipation. Absolutely the peak of cosy fantasy, I've been recommending these far and wide and will continue to do so. Just glorious, wonderful books. Thankyou so much.

I just never want it to end
There are sooooo many possibilities, endless ways to go forward. From figuring out how to stabilize to eventually seeing more crazy ways to try to help others, more so if they are not always sure it can be done. Plus what happens if she finds love or starts a family. I would love to see how indigo would be with a baby, maybe jealous at first or worried about her place but then protective or always trying to teach it things at her speed...... I love this series.

Exciting Adventure
I've impatiently waited for this book. The story far exceeded my hopes. Sable's desire to help others, regardless of their origin, is even stronger as she searches for a way to free the Cat. I don't want to spoil the discovery for others, so will say it is excellent. Toni Binns has created an entity (the shop) that transports to other worlds. Sable connects with beings on those worlds and goes farther beyond the assignments.

Great story continues.
Family means different things to different people. Sable, her Earthling family, Indigo and her dragon family, and the Cat and his family all have things to resolve and understand. The title of this book explains better than most. I look forward to Book Four to see how Sable and her magic continues to explore and fix these lines that tie into all of these families.

Another lovely addition to a fun series.
I had questions about her family for awhile now. While a few main ones were answered I have so many more now! I love the base concept and all the main and supporting cast.
I would love to be the MC with that job, and magic, and companions like she has. I also love that the MC is female and that the supporting cast has all sorts of strong supporting charas.

Will she visit her family? And what about that contract? All this and a deluxe espresso machine and preteen dragon with a voracious hunger for knowledge and learning. Make up your favorite brew and dive in.

The cozy magical story continues on.
The story of the shopkeeper and the cat continues with so many new pieces of the plot. This one ends with more of a cliffhanger but I enjoyed it and had it read in a couple of days. I'm retired so I have time. Can't wait for the next one. Approved by the cats on my lap.

Another amazing installment! Can't wait for book 4!
I've fallen in love with Sable, Indigo, Betty and the cat over the first couple of books and this one is just as amazing, If not, even somehow a little bit better. Cozy found family at its best, with lovely little twists and turns throughout. Can't wait for the next one to come out!

This book delivers exactly what you expect from this author with a great progression with the characters. A lot gets wrapped up and I thought this would be the end, but more surprises are coming! It ends on a mild cliffhanger but still leaves you satisfied but wanting more. If you liked the other books in the series, you’ll love this installment.

I am in love with these books by Toni Binns. Just the right blend of cozy and fantasy. I look forward to my time with Sable, Indigo and the Cat, and can’t wait for book 4. I hope Toni extends the series past that point because there will always be more to explore on the Tree.

I loved this book more than the first two in the series. Such an engaging read, I haven’t really read anything like this before. I can’t wait for the next one! This was so good I am going back for a reread of the first two books.

An amazing series!
I liked this series more with every book! I’m so relieved there was no major cliffhanger but yet an opportunity for more adventure. If you enjoy cozy fantasy, I cannot recommend this series enough.
