In a world plagued with darkness, she would be his salvation.

Linzi risks everything when, instead of killing the savage Viking lying already half dead on her field, she chooses to save him. With her brother gone to war and her father ill, she watches over their home and helps the handsome stranger back to health.

Erik never planned to fall in love with the foreign land under his feet, nor did he think he would ever wake in the arms of a fiery red-haired Scot woman who won't leave his thoughts.

Will passion at the touch of the enemy unravel everything they have spent their lives building?

Fall in love with this Historical Celtic Viking Romance.
* There are 3 books in this series. Book 1 will end on a cliff hanger.
*Note: this is NOT erotica. It is a romance and a love story.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this series!!! Erik is my kind of guy!! Definitely glad her and Luke sorted out their almost relationship?? I didn't like how he handled it but that just made Erik more swoon worthy. I was sad about one part, not going to spoil it though. I'm super excited for the next book!!

Another short story

Linzi decides to care for the Viking. Erik, as she cares for her father. For the first time, she feels lust, though she fights to stay pure. Her father wakes up andnid just a wee bit ticked off to see a Viking come back from the creek, hos old clothes in front of him his only covering. Erik speaks to Linzi's father to tell him he is in love with her, and she does the same.
Her former beau comes to send a message that Kkentonnis well and getting bossy but has become a goood leader. His mothe ris sick of the fever. He had come to say his goodbyes to his mother, whom he claims os too sick of the fever to be cured by the witch doctor's medicine like Linzi's father was. On town, Linzi overjears that Erik's brother Nathaniel has died, they think Erik is dead, and Erik's mother is holed up in the castle, fearing what comes next. Erik's men believe him dead. With Linzi along. He soeaks to Kenton and comes up with a plan to convince people initially that he's a ghost, and then have his men fight with him against the would-be usurpers. In the end there are some aurprises, oleasant and unoleasant, and Kinzi begs to go with Erik to meet his mother.
The next part is the last
book.
Again, a story much too short IMO for a $2.99 price tag.
And I wish to refute the aitjor's claim that this book is not erotica when she describes a sex scene in detail worthy of a seedy porn film. It is a love story, but that doesn't excuse the misrepresentation that the book isn't also erotica.

Does it?

The last line in the book, "That changes everything." Does it? Where does this leave our lovers? My heart is beating out of my chest. I can't "one-click" for the next and final installment in the series fast enough! I have been reading continuously, fervently even, to soak up every one of Author Lexy Timms words! This story has war, heartbreak, loss and a love scene so beautiful, my words wouldn't come even close to being able to describe it. This is how romance is SUPPOSED to be written.

I love Viking stories! This book is the 2nd book of 3. While the first book was primarily about the female character, this book is primarily about the main male character. I was disappointed that about 300 pages was a repeat from book 1 peek at book 2, or information about the extensive list of stories available written by the author. That left the real meat of the story shorter than expected.

Very good!

I loved this book! In my opinion, it was better than the first one! The characters are well thought out and the plot seems to be solid. I cannot wait to read the last book in the series!

I'm enjoying the old era of this book. The way Eric is with Lizi is addicting, the passion is strong for one another and the way he craves her is beautiful. So many things happen in this story tying up a lot of loose ends to the first story. Can't wait to read the next.

Part 2 of a 3 part unified story

The story of a Scottish lass in the times of Viking raids continues, as she meets and saves a Danish Viking prince. Some minor historical and language usage issues disrupts the readers time travel, but an enjoyable story.

Linzie finds a half dead, unconscious Viking on her land and decides to look after him herself. Once she struggles to get him into the house on her own, she cares for him and his wounds. This is where their story together starts... I enjoyed this book.

Linzi causes problems when she saves the guy dying on the field instead of killing him. With her father gone & her brother at war she nurses the guy back to health. Will her actions be a bad idea?

Hurricane readers book review gave me the book for my honest review

Fantastic second book of the series.

In this part of the story all the innocence blooms into passion. The plot really kicks off with having both Erik and Marcus telling their points of view. I am so excited to see where the plot is going to go in the next installment.

A little slower than the first book. Another blunt ending. Which I think is wise because a person has to read the next book.

Not the whole story

Just beware, this still isn't the end of the story! I hate reading three books when they could have been one really great story. But will I read the last one? Why yes I will, but I will complain!
