So glad to be back at Nolan U!

Ever since the prequel to the series (Meet the Boys), I have been so curious to see who Archer would create for Jimmy. After the first 30 pages or so, I was already so stressed for both of them. As someone who has read just about every book Archer has written, I’m enjoying watching her storytelling evolve. I have loved her hockey and football series, and the basketball series is no different..

If you read it for no other reason, you should read it for the scene where Jimmy musters up the courage to ask Alex on a date. It has a very ‘willyoucometomycottage’ feel to it (iykyk)
Oh and Coach Paxton…I hope you get your own story someday.

Even with their economic disparity, Jimmy and Alex’s situations are so eerily similar–both so trapped within the confines of family obligations and expectations that they see no way out. That is until they find each other. Other than the friendships in the story, I absolutely love how Alex and Jimmy keep fighting for one another. They both utilize their own strengths to help the other out of their situation, and it’s a beautiful thing to be sure.

I will admit that I’m also feverishly reading for every Mac crumb I can get because of things I know from other books. DYING for his story, but Archer has intrigued me with Charlie and Sawyer who are up next. I’m not always a fan of friends-to-lovers, but if anyone can convince me to like that trope, it will be Katy Archer!

P.S. Still wondering if any story will overtake Off Limits Play as my favorite??

Another Nolan U book and another 5 stars from me! 🏀

I already knew I was going to love Jimmy just from seeing him in the last two books, and I was right. He was so sweet and innocent, and honestly that just made me love him even more. 🥹 I loved Alex too, and I loved watching the two of them fall for each other. They were just so good together, and I loved how they were there for each other when they both needed someone.

And of course Katy got me with that last chapter like she always does. 😂 That little glimpse of Sawyer and Charli has me SO excited for their friends-to-lovers book. I wanted to keep reading so bad!

I loved Jimmy and Alex, and I’m already ready for the next Nolan U book. ❤️

Jimmy and Alex were such an easy couple to root for! I loved Jimmy’s gentle-giant, protective nature and Alex’s determination to handle her own problems.

Their relationship was sweet, sexy, and full of heart. I especially loved watching Jimmy finally start choosing the life he wanted instead of the one everyone else planned for him.
