If you are looking for something light and sexy to wile away a spring - summer afternoon this is the perfect treat to read. Eleven short novellas about sexy SEALs. I'm going to curl up on my new patio furniture an let the stories take me away. I plan to take my time reading through this anthology. I have had this anthology for ten years gathering dust in my Kindle and decided this is the summer I'm going to read these romantic SEAL stories when the need for sweet romance and hot sex hits. Look for my reviews as I finish each novella.

Fall Dark (SEALs Undone #7) by Zoe York: 4-Stars
Straight up Romance from start to finish. A sexcapade with a sweet second chance romance. A wonderful way to spend a warn spring afternoon and a great escape. Don't overthink it, just feel.

Vince Nash has left the SEAL Teams and needs a way to make good money without an all-consuming commitment - he has the commitment in spades back in Georgia with a family business and the family that comes with it. A set up like the one offered by Rik Amundson tailored to his specific skill set is a dream come true and so is the money. When he arrives for his interview on Camo Cay he is met by a vision from his past. Larken White doesn't know if she wants to shoot Vince or jump his bones. Twelve years and he still does it for her. The only question is: Can she take the chance he won't break her heart again?

Hot SEAL (HOT SEAL Team #1) by Lynn Raye Harris: 5-Stars
I love the second chance romance trope; it's one of my favorites. In this case Dane and Ivy got married before college graduation in a tipsy fever in Las Vegas. Sex was fantastic, but I don't think these two knew each other very well. Discord and divorce soon after. Dane became a SEAL and Ivy became a DEA agent. They meet up four years later on a joint task force to find a submarine that has been stolen by terrorists from a cartel Ivy was investigating and fitted with a nuke heading for the east coast. As Ivy and Dane go undercover, a lot of their unresolved issues come to the surface and so does the sizzling attraction that never died.

SEAL's Heritage by Sharon Hamilton: 4-Stars
I've really enjoyed the SEAL books by Sharon Hamilton. She shows a different, human side to these warriors and each story is unique and thought provoking. Her portrayal of the Navajo culture is sad, yet Danny and Luci find strength and power through their native ancestors to pull themselves out of a bad situation.

Danny is an aimless young man visiting his dying grandfather, a WWII Code Talker. A one-night stand, a family gathering and Danny is done with his wandering and enlists in the Navy to become a SEAL. Luci is a schoolteacher with a troubled family whose criminal uncle is a dark specter always lurking seeking revenge on Luci.

The Guardian (SEALs Beyond Battlefields #1) by Kimberley Troutte: DNF

A SEAL's Duty (SEAL Team Alpha #1) by Jennifer Lowery: 3 1/2-Stars
How can a woman smart enough to be a doctor be TSTL? I know, I know rhetorical question. The plots of lots of books would go down in flames if the authors couldn't use this plot devise. Navy SEAL Grey Stone doesn't want a relationship but a date with lovely pediatrician Reganne McCain changes his mind. Just one problem - she has a stalker and doesn't want Grey involved because he might get hurt. Really?

The Strong Silent Type (East Coast 8 #0.5) by Elle Kennedy: 4-Stars
Of all the romance tropes there are, and there are many, my least favorite is the "I can't love you because I lost the love of my life", but I'm more than happy to bang you. I loved the scorching hot sex scenes and the way Jill made Shane grovel. One-night stands are all Senior Chief Shane Heron has allowed himself for two years since he lost his wife to cancer. Then the very hot, redhaired Jill Marshall blows into his life and blows his mind. Now he is forced to reevaluate what his life has become and what he really wants from it.

Her Next Breath (Uncharted SEALs #2) by Delilah Devlin: 5-Stars
Wonderful Romance-Action-Suspense Insta-Lust novella. Delilah Devlin is a very good author, and I loved this short novella

Suri McAnally is a beautiful, curvy blonde who has no idea of her sex appeal. She was also a foster kid who grew up hiding that appeal as much as possible. Her best friend in college was a gay drug lord's son. She was still hiding. When Alejandro kidnaps her and then abandons her in his father's compound. She is at the mercy of the para-military group who rescues her.

On his first mission with Charter Group, a para-military group, Ex-SEAL Jackson Keller encounters the beautiful and sassy Suri and falls hard. Now he just has to keep her alive and complete his mission - capture or kill a notorious narco-terrorist.

SEAL's Defiance (Take No Prisoners #7) by Elle James: 5-Stars
SEALs - I just love them. I love the hunky, sexy, smart, funny guys who serve their country and love their women. I can't get enough of them. Elle James writes a short, hot SEAL adventure unlike any other author. She blends a hot romance with a suspenseful adventure and comes up with a winner.

Navy SEAL, Declan "Irish" O'Shea and his team are in the Horn of Africa on a mission to take out a real nasty baddie. The mission doesn't go as planned and Irish is injured and separated from his team. He is rescued by a beautiful doctor who hides him from the baddies. Irish only wants to return to his team. But when Doctor Claire Boyette's partner is kidnapped by the baddies, his mission becomes keeping her from rushing to the rescue.

Together they must stay out of the hands of the baddies and make it back to the base in Djibouti. When they come across an entire village of dead natives, they know that something very bad is going on.

A SEAL's Chance (The Heroes of Chance Creek #6) by Cora Seton: 5-Stars
So . . . it's a short story, a really short story, but I really liked it. But then, I really like most of what Cora Seton writes. She has hot heroes, beautiful heroines and writes romance with a light touch with little to no angst. I was a little disappointed that, as the last story in The Heroes of Chance Creek Series, there wasn't more about the other characters in the series.

A Navy SEAL Ben Warren comes to terms with the end of his SEAL career, he is carrying a lot of fear and concern for his future. When the Hall brothers invite him to Crescent Hall, he plans to take this time to figure some things out and make some plans. What he doesn't plan on is single mother Caitlyn Cross and falling in love.

One Hot SEAL (When SEALs Come Home #5.5) by Anne Marsh: 3 1/2-Stars
How can a woman smart enough to be a doctor be TSTL? I know, I know rhetorical question. The plots of lots of books would go down in flames if the authors couldn't use this plot devise. Navy SEAL Grey Stone doesn't want a relationship but a date with lovely pediatrician Reganne McCain changes his mind. Just one problem - she has a stalker and doesn't want Grey involved because he might get hurt. Really?

"Fall Dark" graciously provided by the author for an honest review..

Vince Nash , has left the Navy Seals and headed to Camo Cay to interview with a security agency and upon arrival is surprised but thrilled to see Larkin.
He and Larkin had a relationship while in basic before he decided to go into the Navy seals, young and stupid at the age nineteen he left with promises of maybe getting together around Christmas ; needless to say this is the first time Larkin has seen him in ten years and to say she is still a little angry would be accurate, angry and still hurt is what she is . She thought they had a lot going for them back then. Larkin can not believe her boss Rik has invited him to interview and Rik. Needs her to be on board with Vince joining the team so he suggest they spend some time together o. One of the small off islands the team owns.
Vince is thirty now he is not the same guy he was back then but he know one thing he is more attracted to Larkin now and no women has ever interested him as much; he needs Geraldo to be okay with him coming on board , with the passing of his father he has family responsibilities and he needs the money this job can provide.
With "Fall Dark" we get a quick read, a second chance romance with a hot retired navy seal ,and a women retired from the army who can equal the hot , alpha navy seal and even best him!
Loved it!

Great Boxed Set!
This is a great boxed set! In this boxed set you get eleven books by eleven different authors. I love boxed sets because it lets me read books by authors that I may not have read before, and also lets me read more books by some authors that I love. One author that I love is Jennifer Lowery, her book in this series is A Seal’s Duty. In this book Grey Stone is a Seal and enjoying his down time at home. While visiting his friend’s house he meets Reganne. They can’t deny the instant attraction, when he finds out that she is trying to hide from her violent ex, he wants to protect her and make her feel safe. This is a great romance with some suspense. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this set.
A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

This review is based only on The Strong Silent Type (East Coast 8 #0.5) by author Elle Kennedy.

I found myself laughing at the start of this one. Shane was pretty much bowled over by Jill and not sure what to do about it. It was fun to see him fight what he wanted, funnier yet to see him give in. The best though was when he finally admitted to Jill just what he meant to him.

**This is a partial review. Will update as I finish the anthology**
One Hot SEAL - 4 Stars
Fletcher is an ex-SEAL that now fights fires in his hometown. While evacuating a campground, he sees Deelie, a woman he had been crazy about in high school, but who had left him, which seems to be her M.O. This time around he’s determined to win her for keeps.
I really liked this story. it was short, but the author did a good job of building up the characters and moving along the storyline. Fletcher seems to be a hero straight from the movies, out to do as much rescuing as he can. I don’t really know why, at one point, he thought he wasn’t good enough for her (kind of anti-stereotypical of any SEAL story where a SEAL doesn’t really have a lot of self-esteem). Deelie is definitely a free spirit who is down on her luck, which just keeps getting worse. When Fletcher is determined to show her he doesn’t want a one night stand, she doesn’t really know how to handle it. The only real complaint (hence 4 stars instead of 5), is that the author really didn’t say why Deelie is the way she is. There were hints and I know it probably was more pacing and not enough time, but it made it a little hard to see what Fletcher saw in her with his determination to keep her. Very good story. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

A SEAL’s Duty - 5 Stars
Navy SEAL Grey Stone was enjoying a BBQ at his fellow SEAL’s house when his friend’s wife introduced him pediatrician Reganne McCain. Even though he sees no good in any SEALs having long-term relationships, he can’t stay away from her, even though she’s definitely not a one night stand type of person. However, there’s something she’s hiding that makes her resist him more than he wants to resist her.
This was a really good story. It gives in to the belief of love at first sight. Through the story, Grey was able to overcome his personal demons to find a piece of happiness. Reganne was also able to get rid of her own. For a novella, it was definitely a full story. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

The Guardian - 3 Stars
Luke Carter is a retired SEAL who now takes care of his daughter and works for the Guardians, a group of people that fund serious medical research. When one of the projects isn’t working, he’s sent to Haiti to close down an AIDS research project. After he’s beat to the point of death, he wakes to find himself being cared for by the doctor he’s supposed to shut down.
While this story was well written, it just wasn’t for me. Some pieces of the storyline were just a bit too close to home. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to enjoy it.

*This review is based on HOT SEAL as I have not read the other stories yet*

A critical military operation has turned explosive when Navy SEAL Dane “Viking” Erikson is forced to work with his ex-wife in this HOT contemporary romance.

Ivy is determined not to fall for her ex-husband again and the reader can’t help but get caught in the combustible atmosphere of this romance as Dane and Ivy are forced to work together. The chemistry between them is super heated and the sex scenes are scorching but it’s the relationship that has sparks flying in every direction as their turbulent pasts continues to cause some sizzling clashes and emotional turmoil cloud issues as well. These strong compelling characters singe readers with their hotheaded kick ass personalities while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, action and romance.

SEALs are invited to join the Hostile Operations Team and things are about to get even hotter in this already dangerously hot series when their mission reaches critical mass and Ivy becomes the target of a deadly enemy which builds lots of exciting tension throughout the story and keeps readers on the edge of their seat. Well written scenes and details capture the imagination and the well orchestrated events ensure that there is never a dull moment and the action scenes are believable.

Once again the seriously sexy HOT team leaves me quite breathless as I joined them on this daring adventure of danger and passion and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Hot SEAL (A Hostile Operations Team Novel)(#9) Lynn Raye Harris

4.5 star

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, betrayal, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Hot Pursuit (Hostile Operations Team, #1)
Hot Mess (Hostile Operations Team, #2)
Hot Package (Hostile Operations Team, #3)
Dangerously Hot (Hostile Operations Team, #4)
Hot Shot (Hostile Operations Team, #5)
Hot Rebel (Hostile Operations Team, #6)
Hot Ice (Hostile Operations Team, #7)
Hot and Bothered (Hostile Operations Team, #8)

This is Ivy and Dane “Viking” Erikson’s story. Ivy and Dane were married years ago. They are still angry with each other but have to work together to get a mission done. Sparks will fly. Passion will ignite. But the case will still need to survive. Secrets will be revealed and people will be betrayed. What happens when you are related to the enemy? Will it change the course of the case? Can you lead the enemy into a trap? In the end who will be left standing? Will love concur all? Or will it all go down in a submarine?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

SEALS of Summer 2

The Guardian (SEALs Beyond Battlefields)

I received a copy of the book from the author Kimberley Troutte in exchange for an honest review.

I wish that I could have given this book more than five stars and I absolutely loved it!The book features Luke and Ysabeau who is a doctor trying to find a cure for AIDS in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, nine days before the earthquake in 2010.She has a clinic that is running a trial to find a serum for her patients who already have AIDS and Luke is still reeling from the loss of his wife to a rare type of cancer that his daughter, Sunny, also has the genetic trait.

Luke works for the Guardians, an investor group that funds cutting edge drug trials to find cures for diseases that aren't normal funded. He has to fly to Haiti to inform Ysabeau that the group has decided that since there is no marked improvement in the trials, that the funding is no longer going to be available to her.

Throw in a Vodun High Priestess of Light (Grann) and one of the Dark, a thief, also a clinic hoping for a cure, different colored auras and visions by Deolina and of course the devastating earthquake and you have a truly awesome book. I hope that there will be more in the series and can't wait to read more books in the series.

This review is for The Guardian by Kimberley Troutte

I can honestly say this is one of the best books I have ever read! It grabs you from the heart from the beginning and just keeps you wanting more. The story line is truly unique which makes it so special, has such strong & complex characters, extremely emotional on every level, heartfelt, intriguing, hilarious, and just overall an outstanding book!! I love the authors writing style as it always has a smooth flow, very easy to read and relate to, and has great editing.
While this is not her typical Seal story that has the fighting, banter, description of all the HOT teammates, and all the other things we all LOVE about her Seal stories, that is what sets this apart from the others in a very special way. This story definitely has lots of it's own dangers, an amazing hero & heroine, a light priestess and a dark priestess, it has some paranormal elements as it delves into Haitian culture, and it proves that even after a Seal is retired that he will always be a true hero. I know you'll enjoy this story as much as I have!
I definitely recommend this to everyone! You will not be disappointed!!

I was gifted with an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Kimberley Troutte's new book The Guardian is great! Loved it. Filled with mystery, Voodoo, and sexy steamy scenes it was a great read. It also brought to light what its like in an earthquake. Very moving.

Cora Seton's new book A Seal's Chance is awesome! Absolutely loved it. The emotions come right off the page. I couldn't put the book down. This author shows the challenges a military person faces in a way we can relate. I didn't want the book to end.

I was given these books by the publishers for the purpose of an honest review. My conclusions are my own. I was not compensated in any way.

I got an advanced copy of Jennifer Lowery's A SEAL's Duty to review. Jennifer Lowery knows how to pack a punch in just a few short pages. And this novella was no different. Reagan and Grey's story was full of emotional tension. Reagan is a pediatrician who escaped from an abusive fiance 8 months ago. She is now living a fairly normal life, with a decent practice and new friends. When she meets Grey Stone, a Navy SEAL, for the first time in almost a year she feels an attraction, and wants to date.

I brought this series for two authors Sharon Hamilton & Cora Seton, but I really enjoyed all the authors books in this series. You not be disappointed!!

FALL DARK Zoe York

Zoe York didn't leave her fans down on this one!! Vince Nash Navy SEAL & Larken White Ex Army Ex Sniper meet for the first time in 11 years when Vince gets off a boat for a job interview on Camo Cay & Larken is pointing a gun at him. Vince was the first guy to break Larken's heart & she holds a lot of hostility towards him but there is much more than that something else has happen in her life after Vince. I recommend this book to all.

HOT SEAL Lynn Raye Harris

Lynn Raye Harris didn't leave her fans down with this one. After not seeing each other for 4 1/2 years Lt Dane Erikson Navy SEAL & Ivy McGill DEA Agent come face to face in HOT meeting room shocked to see each other no one knows they once was married in Vegas & divorced within the year. Together they must work together with the rest of the HOT members to find a sub that could do havoc on the US. The chemistry between the two is out of this world, but that was never a question about them it was another problem. I would recommend this book to any fan of Lynn's or any romance fan reader.

SEAL's HERITAGE Sharon Hamilton

Sharon Hamilton didn't disappoint her fans with this one it is a prequel for SEAL's Code. Danny Begay returns home after living in Northern California for about 10 years, to his dying Navajo grandfather's bedside who was a WWII Navajo code talker. He meets Luci Tohe in a bar who has gone after she got some disturbing news. Danny leaves the area after his grandfather's funeral & enrolls to the Navy to become a SEAL. He returns home after getting his trident, sees Luci for the first time in a year & is shocked by came of their night together over year ago. Havoc happens when he drives Luci home with Luci's uncle who has shown up after getting out on parole. Danny & Luci agree to see where their relationship goes. Now I can't wait to read SEAL's Code to see what happens!!

THE GUARDIAN (SEAL's Beyond Battlefields) Kimberley Troutte

This is the 4th book in the SEAL's of Summer 2 Super Bundle, I can not remember reading anything by Kimberley Troutte but she has another fan. This book is about a Widowed Father EX- Navy SEAL Luke Carter & Dr. Ysabeau Morno who is running a AIDs Clinic in Haiti who is working an an anti viral to cure AIDs. Luke goes down to Haiti to check the clinic out planning on closing it, when he gets beaten up & the good doctor takes him to house & to nurse him back. This book made me laugh especially Ysabeaus's grandmother Gramm & her god-mother Deolina & it had tears coming out of my eyes. This book had laughter, tears, secrecy, disaster all wrapped into one book. A recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance!!

A SEAL's Duty Jennifer Lowery

This is the 5th book in the SEAL's of Summer Super Bundle, once again Jennifer Lowery didn't leave her fans down.
Navy SEAL Sr.CPO Greyson Stone pledged to himself he would never marry & have kids cause of what he experienced with his Navy father & mother. Until he was introduced to Dr Reganne McCain, Pediatrician be a fellow SEAL wife at their party. Reganne running from a violent past until the past catches up to her. I recommend this to all romance readers you will not be sorry with this one.

The Strong, Silent Type Elle Kennedy

That was the 6th book in the SEAL's of Summer Superbundle, & also the 1st book I have read by Elle Kennedy, & I would definitely read another one by this author.

Navy SEAL SR. Chief Shane Heron had sworn of any commitment of any type after losing his wife of 11 years to breast cancer 2 year before, he only does no strings one night stands to protect his heart, until he meets firecracker restaurant manager Jill Marshall at a fellow SEAL's dinner party, will he fight hard to save his heart or will he fall hard.

Her Next Breath Delilah Devlin

This was the 7th book in the SEALs of Summer2 Bundle, & my 1st book to read by this author.

Ex Navy SEAL Jackson Keller is on a raid of a narco-terriost compound for the spec op company Charter Group when he stumbles onto stubborn school teacher Suri McAnally naked & handcuffed to a bed, she was kidnapped by the drug lord's son & brought to the compound. The sparks fly when they are back at the Charter Group base & dangerous confrontation happens.

SEAL's Defiance (Take No Prisoners Book #7) Elle James

This the 8th book in the SEAL's of Summer 2 Bundle

Chief Petty Officer Declan "Irish" O'Shea is thrown out of a helicopter when it is hit when his SEAL team 10 try to take out the leader of al-Shababb. Dr. Clair Boyette, a doctor with Doctors Without Borders rescues him. This books has a little of everything in it, romance, humor & action all rolled into one. Elle James has earned a new reader with this one.

A SEAL's Chance Cora Seton

This is the the 9th book in the SEAL's of Summer 2 Bundle, as Cora Seton fan I feel she didn't leave her fans down with this one, she & Sharon Hamilton in this bundle was one of the reasons I purchased this bundle.

Ex Navy SEAL Ben Warren comes to Chance Creek MT as a request of two Navy SEALs buddies to catch a breather before entering civilian life after an ankle injury ended this career as a SEAL. Boy does he have a self pity party going on. He meets single mother Caitlyn Cross, she has some issues due to a one-night affair with a man who gets her pregnant & never sees her again. It's a short story but worth your time, some characters from Cora's Cowboys of Chance Creek & Heroes of Chance Creek make appearances also the obstacle course from Heroes of Chance Creek makes its appearance.

One Hot SEAL Anne Marsh

This is the last book in the SEALs of Summer 2 bundle.

Former Navy SEAL, current Hotshot firefighter Luke Dawson goes in search of a rogue camper during a evacuation of campground fire & discovers Deelie Jacks the girl who dumped him, sparks fly. Deelie Jacks feels all she is good for is a one night stand, Luke really wants to change her mind what kind a girl she really is.

Lots of action and sexy times in this super romance collection! The following is a review for three of the stories in the collection.

Fall Dark - Zoe York

This is another great addition to Zoe's Navy SEALs series (easily read as a standalone) and features one of my favourite tropes - reunited lovers. Vince and Larken were together as young adults but Vince didn't realize how much Larken cared for him, so when he went off to training, he lost contact with her, leaving Larken with a broken heart. Now years later, he wants a job that just so happens to be with the security company Larken is working for. Seeing her again, he realizes what he's been missing - but is she willing to give him a second chance?

As always, I find the plot of these stories and the chemistry between the characters to be spot on. Both characters are likable, friendly and easy to see together. But what I really appreciated about this one was that Vince, while being apologetic over hurting Larken's feelings when they were younger, is also aware that he can't change the past and can only move forward. They've both changed and matured in the intervening time, and had they stayed together when they were younger there was no guarantee they would have lasted long. They are better suited now and Vince wants to be with Larken , appreciating her more now than he did then. So instead of making it all about him making a big mistake when he was younger, it wasn't a mistake for him. He needed the time apart to appreciate her. Once Larken realizes that he is serious, and that this time is different, it makes for a really sweet story (and the sexytimes are great too!)

One Hot SEAL - Anne Marsh

Firefighter Luke is off to the rescue for a camper who has gone AWOL, and just so happens to be in the path of an oncoming firestorm. When the woman in question turns out to be Deelie, a long ago crush who after one short sexual interlude left him in the dust, he's determined to make her give him another chance, this time for keeps.

This was a fun, sexy read with a really interesting female character. Deelie is a fan of great sex, but not relationships and makes no qualms about telling the guys she's with that she only wants one night. The sad part is that none of them realize that she actually would welcome a relationship and since they don't push the issue neither will she. It keeps her from getting hurt. But Luke is different, making no bones about the fact that while, yes, he wants to sleep with her, he wants more. He wants it all. I really liked the sexual chemistry between these two (and their sexy times are hot and steamy!) but I also enjoyed Luke's persistence in proving to Deelie that she means more to him, that's he's willing to stay the course with her. It was a quick and entertaining story, and I'm definitely interested in reading more of the When SEALs Come Home series! 4.5 stars.

Hot SEAL - Lynn Raye Harris

When Ivy and Dane meet again on an undercover operation, their brief passionate marriage from five years previously still lingers in their hearts, despite how badly it crashed and burned. With their feelings still tied up in knots, can they both admit to their mistakes and give themselves another chance?

This was my first story by this author and definitely won't be the last! Ivy and Dane were both strong, likeable characters and their stubbornness is a big part of why their marriage failed in the first place. The sexual chemistry between them is still there though, and learning to compromise is going to be the key to succeeding this time around. It was an interesting plot idea - to combine the Columbian drug trade with the militant religious insurgents and a terrorist threat. I don't think I've ever seen those two storylines blended together but it worked well here. Lots of action and some great sexy times.

I received an ARC of Zoe York's Fall Dark in exchange for an honest review. It is just one of the stories in this excellent bundle. I will review the rest of the stories as I read them!

Fall Dark (SEALs Undone #7): From the moment I first saw the cover to this story, I knew it was going to be HOT . And it didn't disappoint. The first thing that popped in my head was ... "ooooooo, a Latin guy!, that's gonna get feisty". I didn't even know the lead's names, but I still knew. And feisty it was. But not exactly for the reasons I predicted. You see, I'm a Latin girl and I know Latin men. I was expecting machismo (strong or aggressive masculine pride) fireworks, but what I got was a firework display of strength, friendship, love, equality and sexy hot sparks ... BOOM !!!

Twelve years ago, two very young kids had a fling. Neither really left each other, life just happened. They were really young and in true typical 19 year old guy form, Vince let Larkin slip through his fingers. And in typical 19 year old girl form, Larkin let it happen. So I'm not sure I would label this a second chance romance as much as I would label it a right time ~ right place romance . And what a beautiful place and time it is. They both needed to go out in the world and do what they were meant to do in order to come full circle and be who they were supposed to be for each other. And it worked out perfectly. The universe always does :)

This is the story of Vincent Nash, Navy SEAL recon specialist and Larkin White, expert sharpshooter and sexy as heck ex-girlfriend! Vince has just finished with a tour in the Middle East but needs cash in a bad way to help his family business. He turns to Rik Amundson for a job. And hey, guess what (lol) Larkin's also one of his employees. so the past catches up with the present and we have ourselves a fireworks extravaganza! Both Vince and Larkin are passionate, alpha, determined, prideful and SO hot for each other that even THEY don't know how to handle it. But their boss does .... he sends them off to a deserted island for a day to test their teamwork ! And they pass that test with flying colors *huge grin*
As he laced his fingers into hers, he whispered again in her ear, "Te amo."
This time there was no hesitation before she said it back. " Te amo, mi corazón."

A SEAL's Duty by Jennifer Lowery

I love anything that has Jennifer's name on it. This story was no exception. Grey is at a party with his teammates. He looks up and sees a woman he doesn't know, then realizes he's in Darci's matchmaking sights, when Darci introduces him to Reganne. The surprising thing is that Reganne intrigues him. He's liking everything about her and the feeling is mutual. Unfortunately, Reganne isn't as free as she'd like to be. She's on the run from her ex-boyfriend, who has a history of violence where she's concerned. Reganne gets spooked while she's talking with Grey and enjoying his company, and she does what she thinks is best, removing herself from the situation. Grey, ever the gentlemen, walks her home and they talk. Grey gets spooked himself by something Reganne says and leaves a trail of smoke on his way out the door. (I mean that literally. Picture the Roadrunner leaving Wile E. Coyote. LOL) Of course, this is a romance book so that's not the end of their story. Phew. Grey stays and watches over Reganne and then says he'll help her so she's done with her ex for good. They both develop the feels for each other, long lasting, special, this could go all the way feels. Reganne is able to help to help Grey with something he's been struggling with for a long time that has always overshadowed any kind of relationship he could've had in the past. But, of course, Reganne is the only one that could get through to him and make him see a different point of view on the situation, and that is a huge weight off his shoulders.

Grey and Reganne are perfect together. She's the exact opposite of everything he's used to, and that is why she's the one for him. I love how Darci and Reganne meet, no, I'm not telling, that's a secret you'll have to read for yourself and it's a great one. Nanner nanner nanner. I know and you don't. LOL Read the book and then you'll know too. I will say it was a brilliant way to get Reganne into their inner circle. I loved this book and highly recommend it, and anything she writes, to fellow readers. She just has a way about her that sucks you in and makes you heavily invested in the story and characters. It's a gift.

A SEAL's Chance (A Novella from SEALs of Summer 2: A Military Romance Superbundle)

By Cora Seton

I received this novella in exchange for an honest review.

Navy SEAL Ben Warren has retired due to a career ending injury he received while overseas. His feels the anger that burdens him makes him unfit to go home to his family. Avoiding family he visits his pals, Mason Hall and Dan Hemmins in Chance Creek. Being that they are both ex-Navy Seals he feels they would understand his situation and Ben could catch his breath and pull himself together. He could not even think of woman being brought into his life with his current situation. Ben felt he was damaged goods.

Caitlyn Cross is a young single mother as a result of a one-night stand. She can feel the eyes of the town on her but that did not stop her loving her daughter. She works in her Aunt's bridal store as an assistant Manager. What other job could she get when every one in town knew she had a baby at home and no support. Ellie, her Aunt, was always trying to get her to find a boyfriend. Caitlyn always felt that no man would want Caitlyn now.

This novella is a story of woe and hope. The struggles that Ben and Caitlyn have cause doubts about themselves. As they try to come together there is miss communications and hurt feeling even though there is a strong attraction. Thanks to their good friends and family's support they look towards what the future can be.

This Novella is part of SEALs of Summer 2: A Military Romance Superbundle. There are 11 brand new Navy SEAL romances from different authors. It is only 99 cents.

Overall:
Rating: 4
Plot: Predictable
Pace: Fast

Thanks for the opportunity to review “A SEAL's Chance (A Novella from SEALs of Summer 2: A Military Romance Superbundle)”

This is a wonderful series with several stories adding to some of my favorite series. It is well worth the cost, no really it’s a steal, especially since these are all new stories.

This review is for Fall Dark by Zoe York.
Fall Dark by Zoe York has the cocky Vince Nash finding the one love who got away a dozen years or so ago. Though from Larken’s viewpoint Vince is the one who left, switching from Army to Navy. Fitting with Vince’s brash personality this novella is crude, sometimes rude and completely honest.
The more I read, the better I like Vince and hoped that Larken would too. Because just about the time I have Vince pegged the same as Larken does, Vince blows that perception out of the water. For her part, Larken can be argumentative and cantankerous. Vince is the perfect one to appreciate that characteristic. Together these characters smooth off the rough edges of each other, or melt them since they are hot, hot, hot together.
Only Zoe York would take flawed characters and make you love them. This is an outstanding story. It is heavy on the romance without the life and death situation of a mission.

Hot SEAL (A Hostile Operations Team Novella - Book 9) is a delightful SEAL second chance story. I really like this type of romance. Lynn Raye Harris added Dane and Ivy’s romance to the action packed plot makes for an exciting read.
There is much to like in this novella new characters added like Dane, catching up with some of the other team members, and going along with them while they save Florida and catch Colombian drug dealers. The plot is well written with several unusual twists and two strong likable main characters.
As part of the anthology, it is a steal. If purchased as an individual novella, readers of hot romantic suspense will not be disappointed.

Zoe York is my "recovery" author. When I'm feeling sad or having an "ugly cry" for another book, I love going to her for the hot and sweet love story that gives me an HEA and is hot, hot, hot. We all want Zoe York characters to be our friends and lovers. These stories follow Navy Seals at a crossroads in their careers. Navy Seal relationships are difficult at best. They are typically men who face the daunting prospect of rarely being home, of putting themselves in danger most of us will never be able to even imagine, and have as many psychological barriers to a successful personal relationship as physical. These men all start out from a place of "no commitments" which makes them essentially thought of as players, bad boys. I always think every bad boy (or most) really is just looking for enough motivation to reform. Each couple in the Seals Undone series has cameos in the other stories, but these really are standalone. I am partial to reading them in order. As the 2 most recent stories released, I did a re-read from book 1.

Vince and Larken's story from Fall Dark, Book 7 is a bit different from the other stories in the series. Larken and Vince have a past. This is a not so much a "meet cute" as a "re-meet cute". Both have military backgrounds, but are exploring other career paths within that context. This is definitely a re-do of missed opportunities and the chemistry from the start is undeniable. Hot, Hot, Hot.

These stories are totally worthy of being on your TBR list. I'd suggest a long weekend, a chaise lounge, an adult beverage of choice and 7 hot men.

Wow! An awesome collection of military alpha males and the very strong women who love them.
So far I've read Fall Dark by Zoe York and A SEAL's Duty by Jennifer Lowery. I loved them both!
In Fall Dark Vince Nash has left his SEAL team looking for work with a private group that takes on jobs others don't want and could use his skills.
After all of these years Larken couldn't believe that Vince was stepping out of the boat on Camo Cay. WTH? She never thought he would leave the military since all of those years ago he had chosen the military over her.
It didn't seem to matter that they hadn't seen each other for so many years because all those feelings come rushing back like a tidal wave.

In A SEAL's Duty Grey Stone is enjoying his life as a SEAL and most importantly his recent down time at home. He meets Reganne at his friend's house and instantly is attracted to her. Grey is all about having fun, but he won't marry or have children if he is in the military. His family history proves that it doesn't work.
Reganne loves her job as a pediatrician and is finally getting comfortable in her new home and making friends locally. She definitely takes notice of Grey and admits that it is more than a simple attraction. Now she just needs to let her guard down.

I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this awesome collection. I was gifted a copy for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

The Seals of Summer 2 Box set is incredible. Readers will not want to miss out on such a good deal!! So many amazing stories packed into one awesome box set!!!

For this review, I will be concentrating on Fall Dark by Zoe York and A Seal’s Chance by Cora Seton. Both of these stories are hot, amazing, and truly worth your time.

Fall Dark revolves around Vince and Larken. I loved both of these characters. To be honest, I haven’t found a character created by Zoe York that I haven’t liked, but that just proves what an amazing author she really is. Vince and Larken are given a second chance in this book, but only if they are willing to put the past behind them and move forward. Can they do it? Vince and Larken are great characters and I loved how I felt when they were together. Second chance romances aren’t my favorite trope, but Zoe York made me believe in her characters and made me love this story!

A Seal’s Chance revolves around Ben and Caitlyn. This was a really sweet story that really captured the emotions of a single mother and man who believes he’s damaged. The attraction between the characters is strong, but is it enough for the relationship to really work out? I really enjoyed this story and couldn’t stop reading until I knew what was going to happen with Caitlyn and Ben.

I received an ARC of Anne Marsh's One Hot Seal to read and give my honest review. I am a high fan of Ms Marsh's paranormal romances. This is my first contemporary romance by her but will definitely not be my last.
Luke is an ex Navy Seal. He is a firefighter for the Black Mountain Hot Shots. He is sexy, smart, tough and easy going.
Deelie is a down on her luck part time waitress at the town's only bar. She makes no excuse for being the town's "easy" girl. She simply enjoys sex.
While out on a fire call Luke has to rescue a rouge camper. He finds the campers car and discovers it's Deelie, a woman he knew briefly in high school. He instantly remembers her and the last night they saw each other.
Deelie wakes up to find she is in a raging forest fire. Her firefighter white knight is none other than Luke the guy she had one experience with in high school and then ran from.
The sparks fly from the very beginning. The chemistry they shared over twelve years ago is still there. Their story while way to short is packed full of energy, fun,hot sex and even a little self enlightenment. I enjoyed their story and look forward to more Hot Jumpers and Seals in the future.

A boxed set you don't want to miss. Amazing authors, captivating stories, and sizzling heart-throbbing romance.

One Hot Seal by Anne Marsh-features Luke Dawson a sexy, strapping, hot x-seal now fire fighter, and Deelie Olsen an audacious, sexy, beautiful bartender. On the night of a raging campground fire, Luke saves Deelie and her dog Vicious from being burned alive in her car. The two have a seductive high school past, and Luke would very much love that their past become their future…..

The characters are amazingly impressive and engaging, the banter between Luke and Deelie is phenomenal, vivid scene description by the author superb, fiery danger, untold secrets, and earth-shattering heart-throbbing pulsating romance.

Incredible-captivating read; a well written story that had my undivided attention till the end. The story is of course passionate and sizzling, but it is also about learning to trust someone, and letting go of insecurities that stand in the way of true happiness. I loved it, and love the way Anne portrays her characters. {I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review}. Without reservations I highly recommend this book and the author…..

I am only reviewing The Guardian by Kimberley Troutte since it is the only book in SEALs of Summer 2 I have read so far.

Luke Carter is an ex-SEAL who quit so he could take care of his gravely ill daughter. He works for an organization that invests in medical research trials that traditional medical groups won't handle. One of the trials isn't working so he goes to Haiti to close it down but it doesn't go as he planned. As he approached the doctor's office, he is beaten by a group of thugs and left for dead. The doctor, Ysabeau Morno, found him and nursed him back to life.

I really enjoyed reading this unusual story. The story line was quite unique with the Guardians funding medical trials around the world and the wonderful writing making what could have been complex situations all very clear and easy to follow. Throw in a bit of romance and this is a great read.

I loved the characters. An ex-SEAL, a kind and caring doctor and 2 black magic priestesses make this a captivating tale. I'm so glad I received a complementary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This is a great story that I highly recommend.

A SEALS's CHANCE by Cora Seton

The premise for the "Heroes of Chance Creek" series is fun and this book followed in that tradition of honoring our military heroes, healing from old wounds, finding a place to call home and falling in love.

Like all of the other books in the Heroes of Chance Creek series, this novella was so good! Once I started this book I didn't want to put it down and ended up reading it the same day I received it. Like all of Cora Seton's books, this story makes you pull for the characters and root for them to make it to their happily ever after. I immediately loved these characters and was rooting for them right away! In all of Cora Seton's book the characters are well developed and the imagery that runs through the books makes you want to jump a plane and make way for Montana. Luckily for me, I live in Montana and I can attest that everything is right on! Great job on another wonderful additional to this series, but I wish it was a full novel and not a novella because I wanted more! I can't wait to take another visit back to Chance Creek!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

My first review for this boxed set is for Fall Dark by Zoe York, 5 Stars
Twelve years ago, Vince Nash and Larken White had an amazing summer together while they were in the Army. At the end of the summer, Vince left to join the Navy and become a SEAL. The problem was that he left without a goodbye. 12 years later and they meet again, unexpectedly. For Vince, all those old feelings about their summer fling came rushing back. For Larkin, it was so much more than a summer fling. All she could remember was that she was so love with him, he left without so much as a goodbye and crushed her teenage heart.
Another awesome SEAL story in the SEALs Undone series. Vince is a super sexy Navy SEAL who likes to talk...a lot. He talks during EVERYTHING! Larkin is awesome. She's a smart ass, an amazing sharpshooter, and she has such a hard time resisting him. He knows what he wants and he's determined to make her his. Fantastic read! I am super excited to find out what's next for the SEAL's Undone series!
