Emotions are like shadows. They are an integral part of our personality and make us who we are. What happens if we let our shadow create its own identity? What happens if we let the shadow walk alone? Sandeep Kishore’s poetry in Hindi and English talks to us about our our hopes and desires, our joys and sorrows, our dreams and our reality. Your Shadow Wants to Walk Alone is about all of us.
A collection of beautiful poems you might not want to miss reading! Although now that I have finished reading it, I do not recollect each of the poems but there are a few that I shall always remember.
Like this...One of my favourite poem from ‘Gitanjali.
Pluck this little flower and take it, delay not! I fear lest it droop and drop into the dust. I may not find a place in thy garland, but honor it with a touch of pain from thy hand and pluck it. I fear lest the day end before I am aware, and the time of offering go by. Though its colour be not deep and its smell be faint, use this flower in thy service and pluck it while there is time. ~~ Rabindranath Tagore, from Gitanjali (Translated by W B Yeats, 1912)
