The writing style was super clunky. Not an easy flowing read. What, was, with, all, the, commas, everywhere??? And she kept saying the four of us when talking about her and the babies... For babies plus one momma is five. It happened too frequently not to be caught in one of the read throughs. I won't read this author again. Not a style of writing that I enjoy.

There must've been a dare: Write a super-long, repetitive book with as many unrelated similes in each sentence as is humanly possible. The writing style read like someone trying to be a literary genius when in fact it sounded more like gibberish most of the time. The math was horrible, too. The MMC and FMC both referred (several times) to the mother + 4 babies as "the four of them/us" collectively. Basic math, people. Toward the end (which was an arduous journey that involved many skimmed paragraphs and pages because the similes just kept going on and on and on and on) the writer confuses two characters (Rurik/Matvei) at a critical point (engagement to another character) and it totally ruins the engagement with the two grooms (there was only one) written into the same sentence/paragraph. This book needs major grammatical editing, major translation into non-superfluous English, and should be cut by about 200 useless pages. Parts of it were readable, but those parts were outweighed by the ridiculous.

A Genuinely Exceptional Read
This book has an unusual writing style, it’s quite verbose and can seem a little bit detached. So it’s very different than my usual first person perspective novels.
The point of view bounces between the two main characters and sticks to the slightly detached perspective regardless of whose pov is being portrayed.
The FMC is Naomi Vale, in the book she’s a widely known travel writer. Who for the longest time has been “all work and no play” kind of woman. Her friend encourages her to let go for once and have some fun. One very active night with a very good looking stranger and life gets way more interesting than she bargained for,
A good read, 5 well deserved stars.

Strategy Book or Romance
This book was full if subterfuge and subliminal messages all wrapped around a war and strategy. I felt like I was reading a war book and nothing romantic at all. The quads and the relationship were not real and did not feel real. Sounded as if the all of the people talkjng were robots reading feom a script. Not a good start to the series. I won't read any more of this series.

Good read, kind of long.
I enjoyed this book, but it was very long and very wordy, at times in places that made it feel like it really drug. For some reason, I found it very difficult to keep up with all the characters names through the story. Some of the details seemed superfluous, rather than adding to the story.

I laughed, I cried
This was a wonderful story. It has wonderful drama, tension, and incredible character building. There are relatable people, and philosophy to ponder. I enjoyed the ups, and the tension filled downs. I loved the characters until the very end. This is a book worth reading.

Excellent
This is about two people, two lives and the story of how two people join those lives together. It was such a great story, I loved it. For any relationship requires work, requires give and take and compromise. This was truly a lovely romantic story, one that comes to life one page at a time.

Like nothing I've enjoyed before
The cadence and dialog of this books is like nothing I've read before. Their relationship and communication is so well-written and sometimes secretive that you cannot skip a single line or you might lose the plot. Definitely did not expect the story when I found this as FB ad. Glad I did. Worth the read!

The main characters are not believable. The story is convoluted and c onfusing at times. Too m

Loved this story
Great story loved their meeting . they see each other and both are immediately attracted to each other. Eight weeks later she discovers she's pregnant. When he sees her again at a gala he knows she's keeping a secret. Really good romance.

Seems like this book was translated into English as some sentences did not make sense. It was sometimes difficult to translate what was really meant. Still a good book to read.

Enjoyable story line
The story was good but I did find it hard to keep my attention mainly due to the dialogue and how it was written. Made it difficult to connect with the characters. I get the rigidity and formality was who the characters are but it just didn’t work for me.

Interesting Story
This is a lot of back story and mafia wars. Khristofer and Naomi have a very interesting love story that of course has a kidnapping and attempts included.
I love Lev and how he takes care of Naomi and the babies. I’m glad for the HEA.
