Miss Amelia: “She was born to marry the man chosen for her… until Bath taught her to choose for herself.”
In the quiet village of Edenbridge, Amelia Sprinton’s future had always been decided.
Baron Sprinton's eldest daughter has long been expected to marry Harold Morton, the amiable but uninspiring son of the local squire. Yet as the years pass and the proposal remains unspoken, tension rises, and so does Amelia’s desire for something more.
When she’s sent to Bath to stay with her grandmother, Amelia steps into a world brimming with elegance, opportunity, and the tantalising unknown. Amid glittering balls, lively promenades, and whispered secrets in candlelit corners, she glimpses a life far beyond the expectations laid at her feet.
But as hearts entangle and social obligations tighten, Amelia must choose between the predictable path laid out before her or daring to follow the beat of her own heart.

Miss Amelia was such a charming and comforting read. I really enjoyed Amelia as a character and especially liked seeing her become more confident in what she wanted for herself.
The Bath setting was one of my favorite parts. The social events, atmosphere, and Regency details gave the story a lovely sense of place without making it feel heavy.
I also appreciated the emotional growth throughout the book. Amelia was easy to root for, and I liked the way the romance developed alongside her figuring out what kind of future she actually wanted.
Overall, this was a sweet, wholesome Regency romance with likable characters and plenty of heart. I’m looking forward to continuing the Edenbridge to Bath series.

Regency Romance
The bones were good. It was a fun premise- young woman nearly engaged to someone at home she isn't interested in meets dashingly handsome and honorable noble. Some wartime intrigue. Although it sometimes felt like a long list of events that happened rather than feeling directly immersed in them and the father's mistress thing at the end felt odd.
