This was a bedside book, dipped into now and then at the end of the day. The many accounts of childhood wonder and strangeness had a cumulative effect on me over the course of months. The stories often evoked the feelings of youth and occasionally even brought me sharply back in time, opening a portal into my own holy and mystical moments.
I love this book. It may be academic, the entries may lack aesthetic polish, but at its core is a sure unshakeable reality. What a worthy project.
