** I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review**
I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! I was up half the night reading it!!
The only reason I couldn't finish in one day is because the lines started to blur together. LOL BUT I was reading it the next day as soon as I woke up and didn't put it down until it was finished.

That being said! WOW!! Are you sure this is Skye's first book??

Skye writes like she has been writing forever! I honestly did not know what to expect from this book, yes it's a rocker book, but I don't think it's your typical rocker story! Not all rockers are the same, and she proved that in this book! AND I loved it!!!


ok.. ok.. SO.. It starts out with Lexi and her best friend Bradi talking about going to a concert, and Bradi is literally begging for Lexi to go with her,but Lexi doesn't want to go, she DOES NOT like rock stars. Finally Bradi begs and talks her into going, so at this point I think she is going to go to said concert and fall in love with the lead singer, he is going to be a "womanizer" cause most of them are, he's going to be addicted to drugs cause most of them are. But then she is going to change his "bad boy" ways. Typical rock story, I do love them tho:) BUT wait.. wait.... wait.. NOT this story~!!

I know right~!! You will just have to read this book to know what is so different about it, but JUDE? omg he is a SEXY ROCK GOD

AND he is not your typical rocker either!! Yes Jude and Lexi are two soul mates looking for a happily ever after, but will they get it? She is happy with a coffee shop/ bakery that she runs with one of her other best friends Eric. And well Jude he is a rock star and rock stars are not known to stay in one place for very long.

Ok now that my review has totally confused you I will give you a little bit more info about the book, after her best friend Bradi begs for her to go to this concert she continues to tell Lexi how hot the Bayou Stix lead singer is, and how he is just sex on a stick!!

WELL in walks Jude into Java and Sweeties, and when Lexi turns around it is obvious this is not just a rock star to her, and it is obvious that there is def history here! What happens after that! You will have to find out when you read this delicious book.

This is from both Lexi's point of view, and from Jude's point of view and I loved that. I got to see into the rock stars mind and his heart. AND this MAN is AMAZING!!! Take a chance on this book, and give it a shot, I promise you will love it


Passion, love, heartbreak, first love, friendship, sadness, SEX and finally second chances ((and you all know we need some of those))

I have fallen in love with Skye Turner, I can't wait to read more from her, she is going to go places and I am so happy that I was one of the ones that got to read her book and give her a five star review!!

I gave this book 5 Rock Star STARS!
This is book 2 in the series of the Bayou Stix Series, but can be read as a stand alone. But I would suggest reading the first one so that you can familiarize yourself with the other characters.

A story of passion and love, of learning to let someone in and giving in to the way you feel and trusting it.

This story is about Jessie and Blue. For years they have known each other and there has been a very vocal hating match going on between the two of them, they seem to not be able to stand to be in each other's presence for too long. Everyone can see that these two are attracted to each other but Jessie and Blue.

But one day as they are put in a situation where it is impossible for either one of them to run. They give in to their passions (a little bit) and things just seem to explode from there.

Don't think that either one of them are done fighting how they feel now that they realize what they are feeling. This is a book of stubbornness beyond!! On both sides!!!

Blue is feisty and vocal, and amazingly unique! But who else would we want for our bad boy Jessie. He is a man whore and sleeps with anything that will have him. But can this beautiful vixen tame him?

Is there are part to Jessie that we have not seen yet? I think there just might be. Jessie has a heart of gold, and is loyal to the end. When he sees that he wants something he goes and he gets it!

Life happens and Jessie and Blue are tested more then one time on how they feel about each other. Can they stand up to it and fight for what would be one of the most beautiful connections ever?

You don't want to miss this book!! Jude and Lexi from the first book are in this one quite a bit and as are others from the first book.
It is beautifully written and is full of passion and very, VERY hot scenes. I didn't think that I could love someone as much as I love Jude but Jessie OMG !!! Hot guitarist has won my heart over! I might just have to read book one again to see why I fell for Jude.

But the great thing about fictional boyfriends is that I can have BOTH!!!

Thank you Skye for another amazing book of gorgeous, hot sexy rockers!! I love them bad boys!! I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!! I loved the way you ended the book by the way! In a beautiful way but still making us want more!

This story is far from over people so jump on the Bayou Stix wagon and join the ride!!! But hang on .. These beautiful rocker men are breathtakingly perfect. You may never be the same! <3

I gave this book 5 stars.
This is book 2.5 in the Bayou Stix series.
This has sexual scenes and strong language. And a M/M scene (a very HOT M/M scene) **fans self**

This is Bradi and Eric's story. Bradi and Eric are not together but this is their story as they build relationships with each other and with significant others.
Told from the past to the present.

This takes place in college, when Bradi first meets Eric and Lexi.
And Micah is Eric's roommate.

This is a novella that goes back and forth from Bradi's POV to Eric's POV.
It shows the relationships that they form and the struggles that they went through in their lives while still in college.

Bradi meets Micah at a party where she went to with Lexi and Eric. She is drawn to him, but tries to keep her distance because of the strong attraction that she can't seem to shake. He finally comes up to her and they start talking and it is history from there. They travel over a few bumps in the rode that we get to see and experience. And we get to see how the bond between Bradi and Micah is formed. You get to see more of Micah and get to really understand him. I really liked getting to know him better. Micah is amazing and loving and just down right perfect for Bradi and we get to see this bloom into a beautiful relationship.

Eric is Lexi's bff and when it starts off it shows how he struggles with letting people close to him because he is gay. He doesn't want to be hurt and he is afraid if he opens up to someone that will happen. He struggles through a relationship with a guy named Joe, and he falls in love. He also has a very HOT & sexy sex scene with a man named Rhys. Now I won't give any details out or any spoilers, but all I have to say is this is the best sex scene I have read in a LONG TIME! My face is still hot and red. It left me speechless and just utterly without function of my breathing!

That being said. This was a great book, in book one and two we fall in love with Bradi her mouth, her feistiness and her down right this is how it is attitude. As well as Eric he is so sweet and has such a soft side, but he is also very alpha male when it comes to his friends and what is his.. the two best friends that don't seem to get enough in the spotlight are now IN THE spotlight! And you won't be disappointed.
You will go on a journey with both of these amazing people together and separately.

In the last chapter of the book it is present. And we get to see how everyone is in the here and now. Like Jessie and Blue (love them!!) and it ends perfectly with me wanting more!!!

Skye I need you to write a few more chapters just for me!! LOL
Thank you for your beautiful Novella .. We for sure needed to see more of Bradi and Eric and that is just what you gave us! I can't wait to read the next book in the series. But I know for sure I will be going back and reading this one over again!!! You outdid yourself. <3

BOOK #3
I was a beta reader for Ms. Skye. And let me tell you she has out down herself once again!
I gave this book 5 stars.

This is book 3 in the Bayou Stix Series, BUT can be read as a stand alone.
But why would you want to? ALL the wonderful characters from the previous books are in this book too!!

Liam, bad ass rhythm guitarist for Bayou Stix! He loves his life. He loves the woman that he sleeps with. He sleeps with woman that won't get attached to him, he does not do commitment. Clove is the baby sister of a band mate and is off limits as far as Liam is concerned.

Liam and Clove both show their attraction towards each other with mean words and nasty actions. I don't think either of them realize how much they're attracted to each other at first. Once the light bulb goes off and they finally see each other in a different light watch out!

But after all they have said to each other can they get past all of that and actually see each other as potential lovers? Each of them have things that will have to be dealt with and when that happens will the other person run for the hills? Or will they stand and fight for each other?

Liam and Clove. These two are so different from the other characters in Skye's books. I am such a fan of her work and it seems she just gets better and better with each book that she writes. Somehow Liam and Clove crept their way into my heart and camped out. I think it is more about the defense mechanism that Clove has up, she says and does things to Liam even though she is feeling just the opposite of what she is saying, but she has been so hurt in all her relationships she just knows that Liam could destroy her, and that there would be no coming back from it. Liam also feels that connection to her. Clove is someone that he has always wanted. Once he makes up his mind that he wants her, the way that he takes care of her is beautiful. I was cheering for these two in the last book, I knew that their connection would be electric and life changing. Clove has been looking for Liam her whole life. She just didn't know it was him she was looking for.

This book to me was more about their connection to each other and not just the sex. It was about two souls that were meant to be coming together, and seeing that life can be perfect as long as they have each other. Thank you Skye for yet again writing a magnificent story. I look forward to reading more from you! <3

BOOK #4

This is Dade and Melonie's book.
Book #4 in the Bayou Stix Series.
I say yes that you can read this as a stand alone, but why would you want to, this is an amazing series that needs to be read from book one to get everything out of it!

Skye has done it once again. Each book in this series I say this i my favorite. BUT I will honestly say that she out did herself with Dade. He is such a magnificent man. He is caring and understanding. He watches out for everyone else and puts them before he would even think about putting himself first. He loves his family and his band members, and is just an upstanding guy all around.

Melonie is just what he needs. He is just what Melonie needs.
A chance encounter on an island vacation has them meeting and getting to know each other. They both feel the attraction and feel like a little fling on vacation is just what they need. What they both didn't expect was for the other to get under each others skin the way that they did.

A few things happen, and some misunderstandings occur. Melonie is a hard nut to crack and has been hurt before so being hurt again is something she is not willing to let happen. BUT if both of these characters would just let love in a little bit it is going to explode. BOY DOES IT~ these two set the pages on fire even when they aren't having sex. They are a match made perfectly. They complete the other and add nothing but positive things to each others lives.

Come along for the ride as Dade and Melonie learn to let each other in, learn to put themselves first and let love take over.
The sex scenes are hot, but I do have to say that this whole book is hot! The connection that these two share almost instantly is unforgettable.

The other + to this book is that all the other characters and couples from the other books are very much a big part of this book. We get a glimpse into how the other couples are doing and what is coming up next!

This is a series you don't want to miss! So get a coffee and a comfy pillow and pick them up, there are 5 books out right now. Each one getting better and better!

Thank you Skye for an amazing series that I can not wait to continue to read! You're an amazing talented author headed for some big places!! <3

BOOK #5

This book was bittersweet for me.
This is book 5 in the Bayou Stix series.
All of the books in the series can be read as a stand alone, BUT I would not read this one as a stand alone. The one and only epilogue you will find in Skye's books is in this book and it is a spoiler alert!!!
I recommend to get the full affect that you read ALL of the books from the beginning. It just isn't the same when you read them out of order .. You will miss so much.


This is Cruz and Tifanie's book. I felt like Cruz was the most troubled of the group, but that might be just because I connected with him on a deeper level. I wanted to ring this guys neck at times and say wake up and OPEN those eyes!!! When bad things happen to you in your life you tend to think that you are not worthy of any love, any affection, anything period. Cruz is no exception. Cruz is fine on his own, he feels like he is too damaged for anyone to love. He barely can stand the site of himself. I really think he feels lucky to have the people that he does in his life and he is happy with that. That is until Tifanie comes sauntering in. She is a fire ball, a force to be reckoned with. She will not take no for an answer. She is willing to show Cruz just what he is worth and more. She won't give up and she is willing to stay around for the long haul. BUT Cruz has other plans. Can Tifanie convince him that she is worth it? That they are worth it?


This book is a page turner right from the beginning and never slows down. These two together are smoking hot, just like all of Skye's other characters. She sure knows how to find the perfect matches. I do love how Cruz had to deal with Cruz before he could even realize that he should be with Tifanie. There were so many sad situations where I just wanted to take this man and cuddle up with him and tell him everything would be okay. The things that Cruz has been through would have broken anyone else. He is weak and he is scarred, but he is strong and he is beautiful. He just has to find his purpose, his reason. Cruz is a beautiful tortured soul. Tifanie is just the one who said I am not giving up on you. I see inside and I love what I see and I will spend my whole life showing you that it is beautiful.

You don't want to miss this book. As I stated it was bittersweet for me. I had to say goodbye to my Bayou Stix crew. The ending will have you cheering and shedding a few tears. I am so sad to read the last book in this series, but I look forward to reading more from this talented author. She has a fan for life. Thank you Skye for this spectacular series. You get a little bit of everything in these books. You will be able to relate to at least one or more of the books. So don't wait pick up your copy of Alluring Surrender today!!

I have been wanting to read this series for a while after one of the books caught my eye on a book list. So when I saw that the books were being released as a set, I was in. Jude, Jessie, Liam, Dade & Cruz were all unique Alpha males that had their individual issues to work through in each book. With Jude and Lexi's story, it was all about overcoming the issues with miscommunication which hurt their relationship 7 years previously. With Jessie and Blue, you could tell that there was going to be a HOT relationship after watching them fight non stop. Then there was Liam and Clove who seemed to hate each other but there were other issues thrown in the mix to complicate matters, but they still came to realize that they were stronger together. The funny thing was watching Dade's reaction to his womanizing band mate realize he was in love with Dade's baby sister and then realize that he wanted it to happen! Dade and Melonie's story had a lot of ups and downs which stemmed from them not being truthful with each other at the start of their "relationship". I think, though, that Cruz and Tifanie's story was my favorite. Cruz didn't feel worthy enough to be loved because of the horrific situation that led to his conception. It was wonderful to see an Alpha female in this one trying to get through to the hard headed man who though he was protecting her from himself.

Oh and let's not forget the novella thrown in that gave us a glimpse as to how Eric, Bradi & Lexi all became friends! Gotta love Bradi and her brash take no prisoners attitude, but it was hard to watch her feel that she wasn't worthy of Micah because of something that had occurred between her mom and his uncle. And usually I am not in to reading stories that have M/M content, but this worked because you got to see what a strong Alpha male Eric and how he rose above somethings that happened to him.

Overall, great series that I will definitely be doing a re-read on down the road!!!

Alluring Turmoil: Book 1 Bayou Stix:This book was amazing. I'm still wondering why I waited so long to start reading it. This is Lexi and Jude's story. Jude and Lexi knew each other their whole life. He became famous and that left Lexi heartbroken. If you want to know more about Lexi and Jude I strongly recommend you go out and buy this book.

Alluring Seduction: Book 2 Bayou Stix: This is book 2 in the Bayou Stix series. It is absolutely amazing. In this book we are introduced to Jessie and Blue. If you have not read any of this series yet I strongly suggest that you do.

Alluring Ties: A Bayou Stix Novella, Book 2.5 Bayou Stix: Another amazing story by the author. This is a short read. It introduces us to Lexi, Erik, Bradi. This story takes us back 7 years where their friendship began. If you haven't read any of this series I strongly suggest that you do.

Alluring Temptation: Book 3 Bayou Stix: Another awesome book. This is Liam & Cloves story. Again if you haven't read any of this series you must.

Alluring Infatuation (Bayou Stix Book 4): absolutely loved this book. This is Dade & Melonie's story. I love the Rocker, Doctor relationship. I highly recommend this book.

Alluring Surrender: Book 5 Bayou Stix: This is Cruz & Tifanie's story. This was my favorite out of the whole series. If you haven't read this series yet I strongly suggest that you do. It was amazing. I'm sad to see it end.

Every day I get emails about book bargains and one day this series was on the list for a whole 99p, so I one clicked as you do! Then last week I was looking through my vast collection of "TBR's" when I stumbled on the Bayou Stix, read the synopsis and thought cool it's set in Louisiana sounds good (just moved to Shreveport, Louisiana almost 7 weeks ago) I'll give it a go.
Less than a week later I really regret paying 99p for this series because oh my god it's worth so much more, I was engrossed in every page and have finished the whole series in about a week (slow I know but I did have to go to work and sleep during that time!).
I loved every book each one the same but different Alpha males and strong females, but different journeys to happiness and love.
The only problem with books like this when you are single is that most 'real' just don't measure up.
Skye Turner you are fantastic and I promise never to pay 99p for any of your books again, but thank you for that treasure I've just read.

I have mixed feelings about this set. I really liked the characters and their stories, but I feel like you only really got a month or two of their story and then they are all loved up and the book is over. I get that some of them had years to pine away and want each other, but I feel like there could have been more of their stories. The final series Epilogue was cute and a way to see a few years in the future, but I feel a little bereft.

All in all the stories are fun and sweet, the band members have great chemistry and the family they create is a happy band of misfits brought together to a close knit group that spend as much time together as they can. This is definitely worth reading, but recommend reading as a box set so you can see how everyone's story plays out.

OMG...what a deal...a fantastic deal from Skye Turner!! I read the first two books in the series and loved them...but got busy reading so many other books, that I didn't realize she had published more. This boxed set is an amazing bargain...all 5 of the Bayou Stix series with the extra novella as well.
Funny, real, down to earth and oh so sexy...this series makes you feel like you are living with these people and experiencing life in the south...and you will fall in love with all of these hot men and the women who make them sing.
Individually they would be well worth the cost but I would recommend grabbing this boxed set while you can for hours of hot bad boys and some pretty funny side characters.

FANFREAKINTASTIC!!!!

I do t know where to start. I've wanted to read these forever so I was so excited when I got this box set. The only flaw in that is didn't want to put my kindle down. I literally read for 16 hours straight. Skye Turner you are the Shit!!!!!
I am still dealing from this series. I managed to fall in love with every character. Not just the smexy rockers but all of them. And the women in this series..seriously rocked their attitudes. This is a panty melting series so ladies be ready!!!

A great rockstar series...

I absolutely loved this series. It's great that each band member has their own story and yet, one book ends and the other one pretty much picks up right where it left off and you get to follow along with the other characters still and see what's going on with them. I wish there was one more novella though to maybe get a story or background info on Ty and Tifanie's sister.....

I thought book one was good then book 2 was next and I was like WOW!!!! By the end of the series I was in love with EVERY character! I want Blue to be my Bff! The characters have such strong personalities individually by the scenes of them all together make me wish I could be a part of their "family". I truly would recommend this series to anyone that wants a fun, sexy, heartfelt read!

Enjoyable story all wrapped up in a boxed set

This boxed set covers the whole band and friends over about six years time. We see each couple, how they meet, how their relationship grows and where they are all nicely stalled up in the epilogue.

If you love rockers, alphas and romance you will enjoy this compilation on the bayou stix set.

Series box set, read the first to books and didn't really connect. DNF.
