Pieces of Three
Some go through their whole lives looking for their other half…some are pieces of three.
Of all the different shifter species in the Okeanos Archipelago, none is more feared than the Lykans, the wolf shifters, diseased, destructive thieves who had been ostracized decades ago. In fact, history shows that no human has ever survived mating with a Lykan.
As liaison between the humans and the shifters for Anthros Island, all Alyssa Wilkinson wants is to become an Ambassador and explore the archipelago to study the species she'd been fascinated with her whole life. She only needs to gain her confidence and overcome her fear of water.

Good shape shifter, menage romance book.
Two shifting wolves, Julian and Porter, come to the human's island in hopes of thieving supplies, medicine and maybe the cure to the disease that is killing the female wolves. They are caught, asking for an audience with an ambassador to plead their case, enter Alyssa. Only an assistant with hope of rising and learning more, like her father would want, and did.
After being sent back to their island the ship carrying them on crashes. The only survivors on a deserted island are Porter, Julian and Alyssa. But it the wolves lunar cycle and they need to mate and boy do they.
From there we are set back to her trying to be accepted on the wolves island. The wolves fighting for her when she is returned home and a little surprise ending.
The writing was a little messy as the dialogue was placed with in paragraphs making it hard at many times to figure who was speaking. Also the story seemed rushed to me.

How many women dream of finding love, but can't decide between two men? Alyssa has this dilemma with Porter and Julian, two lycans who quickly feel the desires to love and protect. I must admit I was intrigued...how do you decide between two gorgeous men? But in this book you find that you don't have to chose when love steps in. This book has everything...the high seas, lycans, true love and mind-blowing sex scenes. Love it!!!

This is a menage story between two Lycanthropes males & a human female. A intriguing story with a new take on werewolves. Right from page one till the end I was glued to my kindle. Sexy shifters & a well blended mix of characters that are fun to read about. I volunteerily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.

wasted my time with this book... I skimmed so much (I feel like the total amount of this book I actually read could come out to be like 3 full chapters), but I remember skimming and reading just to finish the book and get it over with. Not worth though... half the time I was confused with what I was reading (probably because I skimmed so much though).

Once again I have found a good book in these stories. I found it hard to put it down until the end. This was part of the Anthology 'Magic & Monsters'.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 5 SPARKLING STARS
Brilliantly sexy male shifter characters Julian and porter have been sailing around all the different Federation islands trying to get supplies and medication for the female species of their kind,
But one island is forbidden it's the island of the humans , and they was banned from there years ago from going anywhere near the island , but Julian been the cocky male alpha decides to sail the boat straight into the harbour and try and trick the humans into thinking that they themselves are human and not wolves,
When Julian and Porter Are confronted by one of the guards Julian blag's his way round him and they go on there way ,
Unbeknown to them they are being watched and soon find themselves in a lot of trouble, with guns surrounding them and nowhere to go porter demands to see the ambassador,
That where Alyssa the liaison to the shifters comes into their lives,
Chained and drugged Julian and Porter find themselves being in a prison cell awaiting deportation back to where they came from,
Alyssa is outraged at the way they been treated and goes behind the ambassadors back and steals the antidote for the drugs that they've had administered in them,
Alyssa then accompanies them on the boat and demands to be kept with Julian and Porter below deck, claiming it is for her research,
Bad storms batter the old boat and all of the humans and guards are swept out to sea, leaving Julian Porter and Alyssa shipwrecked on a deserted Island,
With the lunar cycle looming and Julian and porters sexual need to mate coming upon them this steamy hot lust filled story has you wanting not to be disturbed ,
With all the different twists and turns in this lust filled book you'll be in for the adventure of your life,
The characters in this book are absolutely amazing and authors writing skills are tremendous, I couldn't put this book down and it was The first shifter story I have ever read apart from the Twilight saga and that is very tame compared to this ,
This book intrigue me and I am so glad I purchased it , I am looking forward to reading more from this author she is an amazing writer and storyteller .

Alyssa is liason to shifters and humans on Anthros Island. There are no wolves there. The Lykans have been banished as diseased and destructive to fend for themselves. Julian and Porter brave being caught on Anthros Island to get much needed medical supplies for the females who are dying on their island. Getting caught was never in the plan. Neither was being shipwrecked, in the middle of their lunar mating cycle, and only Alyssa to mate with. But mating with her may well kill Alyssa, and Julian and Porter have to return to Anthros Island to save her.
A different take on shifters + wolves + 2 males + one female = one very ahppy reader. I have a thing for multi partners, and adding the shifting element, made it just so. There are other shifters mentions, bears, cats, birds, fish, insects, but Julian and Porter are wolves. I'll not go too deep into the plot line as it may well spoil it, and I don't wanna do that. But I was surpised by the twist of the sort-of-whodunnit! Nasty creatures with a long term plan, thwarted by these three.
I have just one thing that stopped it from being a 5 star read: at times, it was indistinguishable which male was having his say. The sentence might start off with Julian but finish with Porter, with nothing to indicate the change. Using the males names more often would fix that, and stop the crick I got in my neck trying to figure out who was doing what to Alyssa!
Super different shifter take, and a great 4 star read.

I was given the opportunity to reread this, after some editing. And the very reason I only gave it 4 has been rectified. NOW, I'm not sure if thats the editing, or the fact that I'm rereading (and I dont much care for reading the same book twice, especially so close to the first time) ,BUT I did not get lost at the points I did before. Both Julian and Porter's names are used much more often, and that appears to have done the trick! So..
5 stars after the reread :-)

Paranormal books are my favorite genre and Kim did not disappoint with this book. This book has romance, danger, shifters of all different kinds, and more. Alyssa wants to be an Ambassador between the humans on Anthros and the shifters on their respective islands. She has always wanted more out of life. She makes snap decisions waiting to see what happens because of her decisions. Julian and Porter are Lykans. Their race is in trouble. Their females continue to get sick and they can’t figure out why or how to cure it. Julian acts like he is the alpha and Porter doesn’t want to be told what to do. They have always been at odds with each other. The humans believe that contact between them and the Lykans will lead to the death of their females are well. So they refuse to deal with them at all. They have outlawed any contact with them. Julian and Porter come to Anthros hoping to blend in and maybe get a cure. They are quickly discovered and brought in. They request to see an ambassador and this is how they meet Alyssa. She doesn’t like the way they are treated and the methods the humans use. She helps them with they are be transferred finds herself attracted to both Julian and Porter. Julian and Porter are attracted to her as well. Alyssa is scared of their wolf forms at first but quickly realizes they would do anything for her and never hurt her. Julian and Porter could never have imagined they would find their mate by going to Anthros. Now they need to protect and find a way to protect their race. I loved this book. It was very well written and characters pull you right in. Alyssa grows and becomes so much more confident thanks to Julian and Porter. Julian and Porter have to learn that they are best when they are all three together, that not just either of them was meant for her but both of them. I loved all the different types of shifters. The whole story was fantastic. I love Kim.

Incredible adventure and a double dose of sexy male shifters! Julian and Porter are the adorable odd couple when it comes to their friendship. Julian the more dominate and clearly Alpha-male in the relationship, is quite entertaining to get to know. While there is nothing lacking on Porter, he clearly leads with his duty as a healer and searching for the answers to what plages the women on their home island. A turn of events lead Julian and Porter to meet the last piece of thier puzzle, Alyssa, when they find her...the sparks start to smolder and their attraction to one another (MFM) is HOT!!! Through the twists and turns of the story you learn about the Shifters in the island-chain and how they came to live on their respective islands. There is suspense, lust, thrills, drama, seduction, and a twist you will never see coming. I couldn't put this book down and totally recommend it to all paranormal romance lovers. The pace is quick and the details are so delightfully-delicious! Absolutely a #mustread #oneclick story not to be missed!

Daaaaayum. This is one hot book. I could not put it down because I love the tension. The strife between the two men through the book is just enough to keep it interesting. Julian and Porter would be the perfect man sandwich. One is a little cocky, outgoing talker and the other is the strong, silent type so you get the best of both worlds. Now Alyssa, God love Alyssa’s heart. I just had to shake my head at her for being so timid but give her some hot shifter guys and she turns into Mata Hari. LOL She’s like don’t talk to me at more than a normal volume or I’ll crumple but two men, Hell Yes I will!
Ok I’m done now. I really do love the progression of Alyssa’s character throughout the book. She learns that she has a power of her own. I feel like I’m rambling but I’m trying to not give away the details of the book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun read.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
I must admit I'm a sucker for a good shifter novel. Especially wolves. This book immediately appealed to me for that reason alone. Throw in the fact that it's two sexy wolves for one lady, woohoo! What more could you want?
Alyssa is a liason for shifters on an island that doesn't allow wolves. Porter and Julian are forced to go in search of medical supplies because the female Lycans are all in desperate need of help. There they are captured and demand to speak to the Ambassador which is when they encounter Alyssa. Then it's on!

This was the first book I have read by Kim Michael and I enjoyed this book. The story and characters are well written. This is a love story that brings together two werewolves and a human in a love triangle.
The love triangle that these three lovers find themselves involved is not the normal love triangle, but one that shows that sometimes in life a person has two soulmates to make them whole.
The two werewolves are visiting other islands to gather supplies to save their species and come across a human that captures both of their hearts. The two werewolves are willing to do whatever takes to protect and love her.
I recommend this book. This is a book that you will enjoy reading. I will be checking out other books by Kim Michael. I really enjoyed her writing.

Received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
This book started out a little slow for me. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to read/finish it, by the third chapter I couldn't put it down. Loved the competition between Porter & Julian, and the way they treated Aylssa. I was grateful to get an opportunity to read this book. I did have some problems trying to decipher who was talking, whether it was Julian or Porter, but it was not enough to distract from the book. That is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I really enjoyed this book & I will be looking forward to read more by this author.

wow this was so easy to get into, if you love shifters and romance then this book gives you that and more, Julian and Porter are sent off their island for desperate medical supplies with the added danger they are banned from the other islands due to old tales of the wolf shifters, then you have Alyssa human who wants to do good and is fascinated by the shifters and this is where the story gets good, a brilliant story with lots of action and chemistry. I received this book free for my honest review

This book was the first time I have read anything from this author and won't be the last.
I found this book to be a good easy read and I managed to read in one sitting.
If you like shifter books this is the book for you. Alyssa wants to become ambassador for humans and shifters.
Julian and Porter take their boat out looking for supplies.
This book provided plenty of sexy moments between the three characters. The twists and turns will keep you reading and if your like me you will say to yourself just one more page then before I knew it I had finished the book

Would have loved it!
The concept was great and would have been a wonderful story if it weren't so confusing. Several times I had to reread passages to try to figure out who was speaking....and this wasn't just a few times but, all through the book. I almost gave up but I decided to finish...especially since I payed for the book. This definitely needs some expert proofreading and editing. The characters and concept were great with a different take on shifters with a lot of action and heat. Just let us know who is saying what and the story would flow and make sense.

3.5 Crazy Stars!
I liked reading this. It was quite different from what normally read but enjoyed it nonetheless. I did find it a bit slow and the third person POV was confusing especially when referring to Julian or Porter. It went from talking about using his proper name to talking about the other using "he". It was just confusing and I kept having go back to figure out who "he" referred to.

A forbidden love, a forbidden act, a long-hidden secret. Two gorgeous shifters and an insecure virginal human female. All the right ingredients for a fun fantasy novel.
The sex is hot, the characters are interesting, if not really completely fleshed out, and the action moves along quickly. I enjoyed this story very much, and look forward to visiting this verse again soon!

Excellent enchanting paranormal shifter storyline with action that flows smoothly ,characters emotionally drawn into their relationship,fearsome obstacles to get through,survival,betrayals and hidden answers with some surprising results...no cliffhangers but room for expansion of the story. I'm recommending that you will enjoy reading Pieces of Three as much as I have.

I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion. Alyssa wants to become an Ambassador for humans and shifters. Julian and Porter take their boat to get supplies. They wind up on a boat with Alyssa and that's where this story develops with the three of them. There's lots of twist and turns, terror, and love. If you like shifter books, this one is for you.

WOW.....If you like romance with an unusual twist this is for you... if never read a SHIFTERS book before but as I'm one of kim Carmichael's biggest fans I HAD TO READ IT...... and am I glad I did I LOVED IT !!!! all thanks to this book I can say I read shifter books now .......

Exciting
What a great book, love the relationship between the characters and how it was unique, she did an amazing job describing the story and the love between the characters. The perfect way to describe this book is it a beautiful. I can't wait to read more of her books.

This is one of those "just one more page" books, you want to read just one more page cause it has to get better. And then you realize that it don't... Messy and weirdly written made it hard to understand. And the story it self, it could have been a good plot, but it failed...

Wow! Kim Carmichael does it again for me. I love this shifter book. She brings you in, with very well written plot and storyline that makes you want to hurry up and turn the page.... Amazing work... No spoilers from me as it takes away from what you could get from the book.... Love- love -love ❤️❤️

Standalone shifter book!
Kindle Unlimited read - no cliffhanger!! She is the ambassador for the shifters. They are trying to find a cure for their sick pack members. Lots of twists and turns and a cool story!! Definitely should read if your a shifter story reader!! HEA

June 8, 2015this was an absolutely adorable book. Usually I'm not one for three people being in a relationship but this was a great story. It was sweet and suspenseful. I loved it!!

I Really enjoyed this book :p It was catchy and kept me memorized. It had a good story line. They proved a inch of things the human women to be told false lies. Good story. Loved every minute of it
