Emma Barrie-Blair is a Scottish, dark romance author. She's been an expert daydreamer and long-standing reader since she was a child. She decided to put that imagination to use and uncovered a passion for writing.

She enjoys the morally grey side of stories, drawn to writing all shades of darkness and blush level of smut. Expect action packed dramas, a whole lot of yearning and angst, and the odd plot twist or ten.

When she's not scheming up scenarios in her head, you'll either find her spending time with her husband and their dog, or at her local pole studio dancing her troubles away.

ARC REVIEW!!

Wrath picks up right where book one left off and wastes no time throwing you back into the chaos. Packed with twists, high stakes, and a gripping revenge plot, this book kept me hooked from beginning to end. Every time I thought I knew what was coming, the story proved me wrong.

One of my favorite parts was getting more of Saint’s POV. I was absolutely seated for every chapter from his perspective. Saint is the definition of an unhinged MMC fiercely protective, obsessively devoted, and willing to go to any lengths for Indie. The fact that this powerful man only truly bows for her? Yeah, I ate that up. 😭🖤

And Indie is exactly the kind of FMC I love strong, resilient, and driven by vengeance. She refuses to back down, making her impossible not to root for throughout the story.

What really made this book stand out was Saint and Indie’s relationship. Their love is chaotic, messy, obsessive, and constantly being tested. No matter what gets thrown at them, their connection remains the heart of the story.

🔥🔥🔥🔥

Jesus Christ, I knew Wrath would be darker than Vengeance, but holy hell, I was not prepared for the relentless twists and turns in this book. Emma, I bow down to you. Your talent with words truly deserves applause. Every time I thought I had things figured out, you threw another jaw-dropping curveball into the mix.

Picking up where Vengeance left off, Indie is reeling from betrayal and shocking revelations. The harrowing truth of what the Omnia can really do is gut-wrenching, with scenes that left me breathless and genuinely unsettled. The pain and trauma echo through every page as Indie tries to come to terms with both Jenna’s suffering and her own fractured trust. The author doesn’t shy away from showing the raw aftermath of nightmares, paranoia, and the constant fear that nothing is as it seems.

What truly stood out for me was watching Saint and Indie’s relationship evolve under this pressure. Their connection is forged in chaos and tested by every new threat. I loved seeing the moments of tenderness that broke through the madness, the stolen glances, whispered promises, and the way they anchor each other when the world tilts off its axis. Their love is chaotic, filthy, unhinged, and all-consuming; it’s the kind of devotion where they would go to war for each other without hesitation, no matter the cost.

This book made me want to laugh, cry, and scream in equal measure. The deceit, devastation, and trauma are balanced by moments of friendship and love, making even the darkest parts feel strangely uplifting. Plot twists from Vengeance resurface, but this time Indie’s wrath knows no bounds; it erupts into something even she didn’t think herself capable of. When it comes to protecting the people she loves, nothing will stop her, not even if it means facing those she least expects.

Saint is dark, and holy hell, he’s utterly unhinged when it comes to anyone threatening Indie. He knows her better than she knows herself, obsessed with her since they were teens and loving every version of her as she grows. He’s known as the devil, but Indie is his demon, and she would follow him to the very depths of hell.

The bond between Indie and her best friends, Regina and Jenna, is everything ride-or-die doesn’t even begin to cover. They’re more than best friends; they’re soul sisters, always lifting each other up no matter the chaos. I also loved getting a deeper look at Saint’s fierce loyalty to his two closest friends, Rex and Dawson. These men know exactly how far Saint will go to destroy the Omnia, and they’re right there with him, never hesitating to have his back and fight by his side.

Lastly, that Easter egg referencing a character from Ashfall was such a clever touch! The moment I spotted it, I felt like I was in on a secret that only devoted readers would catch. It made me wonder if Emma is planning to create a shared universe that connects the two stories. The possibilities are endless.

Thank you, Emma, for letting me be part of your Street team and for this ARC. I cannot wait for what comes next.

I'm not ok! 😭😭 Holy crap this book emotionally destroyed me in the best possible way.
I needed a minute after finishing this book before I could even form a solid thought.
I spent half the book trying to read through the tears streaming down my face!

We pick right back up where we got left in book 1, Indie is reeling from the betrayals and reveals she found out about right at the end of book 1.... And boy they were some hectic reveals!

Indie is such a strong resilient character, she has been through hell and back and came back even stronger than before. YES QUEEN! 👏🏽
Now with Saint, Gina and Jenna by her side there is no stopping her. She will destroy all those that played a part in the attacks on them.

Saint, this man, he is soo unhinged and dark. The things he does to protect Indie... madness!
No one will touch his woman and live to see another day. 🔥🔥
Saint's inner monologue about Indie was so fun to read.

Their relationship continues to grow stronger in this book, and I love that for them.

"You, Indie Darling. I'll only ever fu@king bow to you."

"You're already mine darling, but the thought of telling anyone that this sublime creature right here is my wife." 🫠🫠 yes sir!

The plot is dark & emotionally damaging and so bloody fantastic!
Keeps you guessing and questioning everything.

Such a beautifully written story that takes you on one hell of an emotional rollercoaster.

The journey these characters went on in this book was epic.
The character growth was phenomenal.

The pacing is perfect, keeps you locked in the entire time.

We get dual POV in this book as well and we know I'm a big fan of dual POV's. I want everyone's thoughts and opinions.

There are some fantastic side characters too who deserve a shout out.
Rex I loved his character; he was the funny one always trying to lighten the mood.
Dawson, he would do anything for the people closest to him. Even follow Indie into a trap because he knows what it would do to Saint if anything ever happened to her.

The ending was perfect. We get a year time jump and ends exactly how I hoped it would. 🩷

I'm sad this is over, I could read another 5 books about Indie and Saint.

Cannot recommend this book enough, you need to read this!

Thank you so much to the Author for sending me an arc of your book. ❤️

I knew this book was going to rip me apart emotionally, especially after that cliffhanger in Vengeance, and it definitely put me thru the wringer. The plot throughout this book is incredible, it kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put the book down once I started! This duet was absolute perfection in my opinion!

This book picks up right where Vengeance ended with some heartbreaking revelations! From there Indie and Saint have to regroup to come up with a plan to take down Omnia! I don’t want to say more about the plot because I don’t wanna spoil anything for anyone!

Saint is book boyfriend perfection! Honestly the way he loves Indie so obsessively, possessively, darkly, and unapologetically was so perfect. I love a MMC that is completely obsessed with the FMC and Saint just delivers every single time! Indie is such a badass FMC…she had so many traumatic moments that tried to pull her down but she’s grown to be so strong. She loves Saint fiercely and is willing to do whatever it takes to get to their future!

I absolutely loved seeing Saint and Indie’s relationship grow thru all the pressure of their mission. Their relationship is tested by every threat they have to face and it only grows stronger and more consuming! Not only is their love fierce but we get to see the tenderness between them and those moments melt my heart! The spice in the book was perfectly placed, well written, and so hot! Their love is unhinged, all consuming, chaotic, strong and they’re both willing to go to war for each other!

We also get so much more of the relationship between Indie, Regina, and Jenna which was really nice to see the bond between them. Their trio is finally together now that they have Jenna back and seeing them be there for her as she recovers was heartwarming! We also get some fun moments between Regina with Dawson and Jenna with Rex, I loved all the different relationship dynamics!

Overall, I loved every moment of this book and would definitely recommend this duet to anyone who loves dark romance! I’m so thankful that I signed up for an ARC of Ashfall last year so I was able to join Emma’s ST and I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!

I am truly obsessed with anything that Emma writes and this book was no exception.

This book was exactly the plot, ending, story I needed after vengeance and it did not disappointed.

Chapter 27 had me hyperventilating. I will never forgive you for the temporary crisis I experienced.

Saint is just so an ungodly but godly MMC, no other book boyfriend compares.

Indie is just such a badass, strong, stunning FMC, reading her at her weakest after chapter 27 and then the come back she made and her wrath for revenge and justice. I don't think I've loved an FMC as much as I love her.

Side note: The spice is just chefs bloody kiss, unreal. Literally salivating.

ARC review🥹🤍

💭 “All good has evil, every darkness has it’s light, every Sinner needs their Saint. “

First things first, thank you Emma for sending me this ARC. I’ve been following her on tiktok from the moment she started posting about Ashfall (dark military romance). Got so excited when she posted that she was writing a duology and that Ashfall would get a sequel later on.
—————————————————————————————

I loved Vengeance (book 1 in the Written in Sin Duet), but my expectations for this second book blew me away.
I’ve been in a funk lately and had two disappointing reads, so for this ARC to be sent out was just everything I needed.
It did not disappoint!

We’ve got a bad ass FMC who doesn’t shy away from getting dirty. A morally grey woman who goes by the “touch him and you’ll die” moral code. The fact that she knows how to defend herself but also fight her own battles but also for the ones she loves made me love Indie so much.

Don’t even get me started about Saint. His name doesn’t do him any justice. Because this man is the fucking devil himself. Morally grey man who would obliterate the fucking world for the people and woman he loves. Especially the woman 🥹 You guys have no idea how much I love these kind of dark morally grey characters. I don’t do vanilla, that’s just not my kind of people.

Anyways the pacing was super fast (it’s not a very thick book), but even with only 389 pages it doesn’t feel rushed. Emma Barrie-Blair did a fantastic job with the last book in this duet. The plot was there, I was laughing, screaming, crying. I just felt every emotion she tried to put in this story and damn her, because she made me too invested in those characters. The amount of panic and anxiety I felt through out the read was insane.

I loved it and I would recommend for you to read this Duet🤍🤍

ARC Review ✨

Ok… I’m dying. What was that??? My God, what a book 😭
I was literally staring at the ceiling for a good few minutes, just thinking about everything I had just read.🥺

Wrath is a true emotional rollercoaster. The story picks up exactly where the first one ends and keeps a constant level of intensity throughout. There are unexpected twists, powerful revelations, plenty of action, and a gripping pace. In this book, you really can’t trust anyone. 🥺❤️‍🩹

Emma’s writing continues to impress. It’s fluid, engaging, and very well crafted. There were moments when I found myself hating certain characters, only to realize that not everything is as it seems.
I’m truly happy to have been part of the ARC team for these books, and I highly recommend this dark romance. It’s absolutely worth it. 👌

I loved Saith even more in this book. He’s intense and possessive, especially when it comes to Indie. I’m not ready to say goodbye to him and Indie. Indie is simply incredible, a true badass, a symbol of strength, resilience, and growth. One of the strongest aspects of this story is the characters evolution and maturity.
The secret society is very well developed, and in this book we learn so much more, including the reasons behind many things that happened in the first book.
This book made me feel everything. Anger, sadness, anxiety, and that racing heart trying to find out what happens next.🥺💔

And the ending was exactly how I wanted it to be.✨
This book will be released in May, so stay tuned!! 🖤

Thank you Emma for giving me the opportunity to read this duet. 🙏🖤 I’m truly very happy to be part of your journey! 🥰 I wish you all the success because you truly deserve it!! These books are really amazing! 🖤

(ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.)

This book continues Indie’s journey of revenge alongside her relationship with Saint, and the story definitely takes a darker turn. The tone becomes much more intense, with descriptions of torture, trauma, and both the MCs fully embracing the darker sides of themselves.

It was a strong conclusion to the story, although personally I still preferred the first book slightly more. That said, the pacing is excellent throughout, it never drags and constantly keeps you emotionally invested.

This book was honestly an emotional rollercoaster. There were moments where I was genuinely left speechless, especially toward the end. At one point, I wanted a second chance for a certain character so badly… but you’ll have to read it to understand why.

The relationship between Indie and Saint also evolves a lot in this book. They were already fairly open with each other before, but here their connection feels even deeper and more emotionally intense.

One of my favorite aspects across both books was the friendship between Indie, Jenna, and Gina. The way they support each other felt refreshing, especially because the FMC’s emotional world doesn’t revolve solely around the love interest.

Overall, I highly recommend both books. Reading them felt like a complete emotional journey, never boring, constantly intense, and full of moments that kept me completely invested from start to finish.

✨ ARC review ✨
Wrath is the conclusion to Emma Barrie Blair’s Written in Sin duet, and what an emotional rollercoaster it was.

This duet has everything I love in a dark romance: an obsessive MMC, a vigilante FMC, a revenge-fueled plot, a dark secret society, so much yearning and angst, and a beautifully written second-chance romance that had my heart aching from beginning to end.

One of my favorite parts was the friendships. So many dark romances focus solely on the romance, but here the friendships were just as important. The loyalty, support, and found-family dynamic added so much heart to the story and made every victory and heartbreak hit even harder.

The chemistry between the main characters was incredible. Their shared history made every interaction feel intense, emotional, and filled with unresolved feelings. I couldn’t get enough of them.

And that ending to book one…

The cliffhanger left me hanging BAAAAD. Waiting for Wrath to release after reading the ARC of book one was absolute torture—I needed answers immediately, and the wait felt endless.

Thankfully, book two delivered. It answered the questions I’d been obsessing over while somehow managing to throw in even more shocking plot twists. It put me through absolute emotional torture—pain, heartbreak, hope, and finally relief. Every twist landed perfectly, and the ending made the journey completely worth it.

I had the privilege of reading the entire Written in Sin duet as ARCs, and I’m immensely grateful to Emma Barrie Blair for trusting me with these books. It was such an incredible reading experience, and this duet is one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

If you’re looking for a dark romance filled with obsession, revenge, yearning, emotional angst, unforgettable friendships, and twists that will keep you guessing until the very end, I can’t recommend the Written in Sin duet enough.

Wrath by Emma Barrie-Blair, Book 2 of the Written In Sin Duet. This is a Second Chance, Dark Romance following Indie Kent and Saint Blackwood. 🚩This is for adult readers only (18+) as it has mature content and not suitable for underage readers. There are dark themes that can be triggering so please check out the content warning before you dive in 🚩

My thoughts 💭
Wrath picks up where Vengeance, book 1 of the duet, ends. If you didn’t read book 1…stop here, read it and come back. In this book we get more of Saints POV and I am here for it! His inner monologue about his love for Indie is beautiful. I truly wish I could read this book for the first time again. I cannot recommend this duet enough. We get so many questions answered, so much betrayal but also much needed clarity from those betrayals. We get to finally meet Malcom and get a better understanding of his entire role in the business! If you like to read second chance, dark romance books with a very much deserved HEA…read this, you won’t regret it! Emma Barrie-Blair put her heart and soul in this duet and you can feel it throughout the pages, I cannot wait for what is coming in the future from her!!!

✨I would like to thank Author Emma Barrie-Blair for the opportunity to read and review Wrath.

I am completely in love with Wrath. This book had me in a chokehold from start to finish.

Saint? Absolutely unreal. He's a perfect storm of delicious, dominant, dangerous energy...but the way he softens for Indie only? Obsessed 🫠. The devotion, the protectiveness, the "her life comes before mine" mentality - he has it all. He would burn the world down for her and not blink. COMPLETE top-tier MMC energy.

Indie is that girl. Strong, witty, and absolutely ruthless when it comes to protecting the people she loves. She is just as obsessed and willing to do anything for Saint. She's fearless and not afraid to get her hands dirty. The character development from who she was before the *incident* to who she is at the end of book two was ** chefs kiss **.

This was addictive, emotional (I may or may not have cried....more then once), and intense in all the best ways. The side characters had such loveable personalities that I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will get their own books as well. Between the nonstop action, plot twists, and all the truths unraveling, this book never slows down. And the chemistry between Indie and Saint? Off the charts. Cannot recommend this duet enough.

This book picked up exactly where the first book ended, which I loved because there was no slow build, it was straight into the action, emotion, and intensity. From the beginning all the way to the end, I was completely invested.

Indie & Saint. I don’t even know how to explain it other than they are that couple. The kind where they would burn the world down for each other and not in a one-sided way. They both show up, they both fight, and you feel that in every moment. That kind of connection made everything hit so much harder.

There were multiple moments where I had to stop and just sit there like… did that really just happen? The tension, the stakes, everything just kept building and I could not put it down. I was literally reading in between working because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

And I have to mention Rex because he was such a standout for me. In the middle of all the action and emotion, he brought just enough humor and personality to balance everything out. He is definitely one of my favorite characters.

Overall, this book had me stressed, emotional, invested, and completely hooked. I loved every minute of it and I’m already not ready to be done with these characters.

So many twists and turns! Part two of this duet delivered but please check your trigger warnings as this one is very intense. I haven’t enjoyed a duet this much in a long time.Thank you @emmabarrieblairauthor for the chance to ARC read book two in the duet.

Pros in my opinion:
Wrath picks up where Vengeance left off and wow Wrath was much darker. The spice was so wild but it just worked to show how much Saint and Indie need each other. So many unexpected expected plot twists will have you at the edge of your seat. I think Indie has become one of my favourite FMCs her character is so badass and strong that she has no time for whining or hand holding although her and Saint’s vengeance go hand in hand. My issue in Vengeance was that I needed more Saint POV chapters but Wrath delivered but overall I really enjoyed this duet.

Cons in my opinion:
Only con I have is that now I am sad it’s over but I really wish that some characters got more of a chance to get their revenge. I also wish I got to see more of Rex and see why he is so dangerous.

After being fooled and betrayed, Indie is impatient to take down Omnia Society. Here, we see Indie growing darker and angrier, but all of these feelings empower her to get vengeance. And Saint is there to support, guide, and help her along the way.

Her relationship with Saint is powerful, demanding, and intense. He is so loyal to Indie that he will stop at nothing to ensure that she receives justice.

Since I read more of Saint's POV in this book, I was able to understand him and feel his rage, frustration and determination to destroy Omnia Society. Saint doesn't waste any time showing his deep love, devotion and obsession to Indie.

Their chemistry is extremely powerful, overwhelming, and intense.
Because there are so many twists and turns and more steamy moments, the plot is more captivating and interesting than the previous book.
Their teasing, bantering, emotional and heated moments were all outstanding.
This book was excellent in every way.

You should read this duet if you enjoy dark, powerful, independent, sassy, fierce women as well as insane, protective, obsessive, dedicated, and possessive men.
You won't regret it.

P.S: Read first Vengeance, for a better understanding of the events.

4.5/5⭐ ARC review

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of book two in the Written in Sin series, and I had been counting down the days until it finally landed in my inbox.

This book did not disappoint😱. It picks up exactly where the first one left off, which makes it easy to dive right back in from the very first page. There are plenty of plot twists and “what just happened?!” moments that keep you hooked and make it hard to put down.
( I certainly lost a few hours of sleep over this😜 )

Just like in the first book, I sometimes found the love declarations a bit too drawn out, which made certain parts feel repetitive. I also find it slightly frustrating when conversations between characters would get interrupted by long internal monologues, causing the dialogue to lose its flow. Could just be me, but I'd rather have that before or after a confrontation I'm dying to read about🤣.

That said, the story is genuinely gripping and full of tension, and overall, a strong and engaging continuation of the series.

So if your reading mood is somewhere between “I want to feel everything at once” and “I want a story that leaves claw marks on my thoughts,” this one delivers exactly that!!

ARC Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this book and honestly I was hooked right from the beginning.

After that cliffhanger ending in Vengeance, I couldn’t wait to jump into this one and see how Indie handled all the betrayal, emotions, and tension. The story picks up perfectly and somehow gets even darker, more intense, and more emotional.

One thing I loved again was the dual POV. Getting inside both Saint’s and Indie’s heads made everything hit harder emotionally, especially with everything they go through together. And the playlists for each chapter was a good touch. It really brought the emotions to life while reading.

Saint and Indie’s relationship is honestly one of my favorite parts of this duet. The chemistry, banter, emotional moments, and spice all balance so well together. I also loved the friendship and partnership between Indie and Regina.

This book had me on a complete roller coaster emotionally, and THAT plot twist closer to the end had me in an absolute chokehold 👀

And that ending.... Perfection. The epilogue was exactly what this duet needed to wrap everything up, and it genuinely had me a little emotional in the best way.

An easy 5⭐ read for me.

This was such a strong second installment in the series. It picks up exactly where the first book left off, which made it incredibly easy to dive straight back into the story from the very first page.

From start to finish, this book is a true emotional rollercoaster. It pulls you through anger, sadness, anxiety, and that constant racing feeling of needing to know what happens next. The pacing is gripping, filled with unexpected twists, powerful revelations, and plenty of action. One thing is certain: in this story, you really can’t trust anyone.

We finally get some answers, along with deeper insight into Indie and Saint’s past. Their relationship continues to develop, and I especially felt that Saint’s emotions and struggles were explored even more in this installment.

That said, at times the spice felt a bit too present for me personally, and occasionally came across as somewhat unnecessary.

Overall, this was an intense, emotional, and captivating read that definitely keeps you hooked throughout.

holy shit! this was not okay. this one had the heartbreak just waiting to hand it down to my already torn soul. I absolutely devoured this book. I’m obsessed with world and I hope there will be more books based in here. The emotional damage was definitely a tear jerker. emma absolutely brought this one out to pack a punch. I can’t wait to see what this author brings in next! thank you so much for the arc!!

ARC REVIEW💕 Wrath absolutely wrecked me in the best way. The suspense had me anxious the entire time because every chapter felt like another secret was about to explode. The rekindled love between Saint and Indie was everything I wanted. It was messy, emotional, obsessive, and full of tension that never let up. You could feel the history, the hurt, and the lingering love in every interaction between them.
What really stood out to me was the familial betrayal woven throughout the story. Every reveal hit harder than the last and added so much emotional weight to the plot. Indie was such a fierce FMC too. She is strong, resilient, and unwilling to back down even when everything around her was falling apart. She had vulnerability without ever feeling weak, which made me love her even more.
Emma Barrie-Blair has a way of writing angst and emotional chaos that completely pulls you in, and this book was impossible for me to put down. Dark, addictive, emotional, and full of tension from beginning to end.

From Vengeance into Wrath 😈

Indie and Saint’s journey continues, rescuing one of her best friends from trafficking after 6 years, seeing people they thought they never would. Indie is even more intent in seeking the Omnia followers and ensuring they are destroyed, things don’t go according to plan as they seem to be one step ahead but Ultio will not be defeated even when faced with unfortunate odds…

“𝘐 𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘧 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘳.”

We do get some answers, and a bit more about Indie and Saint’s background, how their love grew and stayed maybe more for Saint. We learn of the betrayals from within and why, Saint’s Dad appears to help them out though not before we are dealt a dish of Omnia’s backhandedness. Be prepared for angst, violence, spice, secrets and love that holds no bounds. I totally enjoyed this second book in the Written in Sin Duet. Do read the first one prior to leaping into Wrath 🫶🏻

ARC Review

This book doesn’t ease you in, it drags you under and keeps you there, right back to where we were left in Vengeance.

Everything is pushed further. Truths don’t unravel, they collapse, and realizing who the real enemy is changes everything. There’s no safety, just tension that keeps tightening.

It feels like war, even when it isn’t. More like a cycle of pain, loss, and survival where strength is constantly tested, broken, and rebuilt. Hope is there, but fragile.

The trauma is handled with care… raw, deliberate, and never rushed, allowing both pain and growth to exist.

At its core, this is about the cost of survival and a love so deep it borders on destruction… the kind where both would burn the world for each other.

Closure comes, but not gently. Every choice leaves a mark, and the finality of vengeance feels inevitable.

A heavy, intense continuation that fully commits to love, trauma, and endurance.

[Run in he!l, Conrad. I’ll be coming for you there too]

Wrath is Book 2 in the Written in Sin Duet by Emma Barrie-Blair. This book is fo the dark romance lovers, if you are sensitive to certain topics, I encourage you to read the content warnings before picking up this series.

Wrath follows Vengeance (Book 1) and continues a story of revenge and death with characters who would sacrifice it all for each other’s safety, to be together no matter what, and to ensure that the pain Omnia set upon their family lives is retributed and avenged.

Turns out, the sussy ass sister was a victim and villain and truthfully, I’m still a little mad that she didn’t get the ending I was hoping for.

Indie and Saint were a pair made for each other, the bad guys got what they deserved in the end, and I’m left wanting the stories of some of the side characters because WHEW they’ve been through it.

What to expect:
- Dark Romance
- Vigilante FMC
- Unhinged MMC
- Dark Secret society

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of Violet, and I am providing my honest review. Thank you, Emma Barrie-Blair (and team) for the opportunity.

Bloody hell!!! If ever a book/duet wrecked me, it was this!! EVERYONE should read it!!!

Saint Blackwood has officially tipped the top of my list of favourite MMC’s. That man is dark & devilish & oh, how I adore him!!

Following on from book one, 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, Indie & Saint’s mission to take down the infamous Omnia society continues & it’s not a smooth ride!! So many emotions reading this!! Emma has definitely done it again with another amazing read. I adore her writing with just how well she can pull the reader into her stories & hit us with all kinds of plot twists!!

I highly recommend this book as well as the previous one the duet!! Lots of red flags, lots of triggers & Saint will ruin you in the best way!!!

Tropes:
Dark romance
Revenge
Touch her & die
Unhinged & obsessed MMC
Feminine rage
Vigilante FMC
Found family
Secret Society
Trauma
Angst

Saint and Indigo’s second half of their story was a roller coaster of emotions so much more intense and oh shit moments. The moments that made you cry. The moments that made you laugh and the spicy moments ohh GOD.. it’s not saintly at all. Their relationship grows even darker than I could imagine, and indie becomes more of incredibly powerful woman. The dips and flips this story gives is everything I wanted in book 2! I still want more but I’m very happy with how it ended. Loved the hint at a character from Ashfall! it’s nice to see the universe push a bit together! Highly recommended this book make sure to read book 1 first! Bravo Emma!!

4.5⭐'s rounded up
I have been waiting for this book to come out and it did not disappoint! From start to finish this one will keep you entrapped, keeping it impossible to put down. It is pure adrenaline with twists that will keep you guessing.
Indie and Saint are explosive! They take spicy to the next level.
Saint said so many swoon-worthy things to Indie that made my heart go pitter patter it was unreal, only to turn around and ☠️anyone who touches what is his.
Indie is a total baddie. Her strength is inspiring after everything she went through.
I hate that this duet is over. However, all great things must come to an end.

Thank you so much to Emma for the arc of this book!

Wow! This is an incredible sequel and end to the duology! It had twists and turns I didn’t see coming! I love seeing women get revenge on people who have wronged them and this book definitely did that!

This book follows immediately on from where the first book finishes, and it was such a satisfying ending!

I loved how the trauma that the characters were put through was dealt with and how the other characters had so much patience for them!

I will say it is a dark romance so check the trigger warnings!

I would highly recommend this book if you want a revenge plot with an obsessive mmc!

Wrath
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This book had me in a chokehold the whole time. From front to back I was on a roller coaster. I loved how the relationship between Saint & Indie grew exponentially. The way you could feel that they loved with no abandon and no exceptions till the end of all time made me so eager to see how their relationship continued. I was incessantly reading any chance I got and greatly enjoyed being kept on my toes throughout the whole experience! A book I can’t put down no doubt makes this one of the best of 2026. Cannot forget to mention the spice and darkness of this story made me feel things I’ve never imagined I would enjoy.

I could not stop raving about Vengeance and this conclusion did not disappoint!

This picks up right from the cliffhanger of Vengeance with Indie reeling from the revelation! There was pain, obsession, fury and so many twists and turns that kept me hooked.

Saint Blackwood is still everything. He is dark, protective, completely obsessed with Indie and willing to do whatever it takes for her. “You’re already mine darling, but the thought of telling anyone that this sublime creature right here is my wife.” uh I love Saint 🔥

This was dark, addictive and full of vengeance, danger and chaos. Such a satisfying conclusion and I highly recommend
