I set off for Europe after my broken engagement, hoping distance will dull the heartbreak and give me time to heal. What I do not expect is to find comfort in the arms of Taj Badmus, a one-night stand who turns out to be my student. I tell myself it was a mistake that cannot happen again, but avoiding him proves more difficult than I anticipated, especially since he seems determined to stay in my life. If anyone finds out, the consequences could cost me my career and everything I have worked for. I know where the line is and why it exists, yet the more time I spend with him, the less certain I am that walking away is the right choice.
TAJ
One look at Professor Michael Sawyer and I know I’m in trouble because I immediately want him, and not just for a night. Even though he’s convinced that staying away will keep me in line, it only makes me want to cross every line he tries to draw. I know he is twelve years older, my professor, and only here temporarily, but I’ve never been good at walking away from something I truly want.
Blurred Boundaries is a standalone steamy MM forbidden romance featuring crossed lines, bi-awakening and an undeniable connection that sparks a relentless attraction despite the scandalous consequences of falling for someone off-limits.
This series continues to be light with another fun, quick, low angst read. I'm a sucker for a good forbidden romance, so the professor/student dynamic between Taj and Michael was exactly up my alley.
While it starts with insta lust, I really appreciated that the author took the time to develop their connection into something much deeper. Taj and Michael's relationship grew into a surprisingly sweet bond.
The banter was so much fun here. Taj's constant teasing was so charming that Michael didn't stand a chance at resisting. Taj was relentless in going after his own happiness, yet very patient while Michael worked through his internal guilt about their relationship. They ended up having such a sweet connection.
Blurred Boundaries is a captivating romance that blends an age-gap relationship with a forbidden professor-student dynamic, making it hard to look away.
The story follows a one-night stand that turns into something much deeper. Michael never questioned his sexuality until he met Taj, and watching him come to terms with his feelings and embrace who he truly is was one of my favorite parts of the book.
I especially loved Michael's "forget it" moment—when he realized he couldn't imagine a life without Taj and decided to fight for their relationship. Taj's persistence, patience, and unwavering belief in what they could have together made him such an endearing character.
Their chemistry was undeniable, and their emotional journey felt rewarding from beginning to end.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A solid 4-star read. If you enjoy age-gap romances, forbidden love, LGBTQ+ romance, and stories where a one-night stand turns into forever, I'd definitely recommend this one.
“Every red light seems personal.” That made me chuckle because it’s so relatable.
The Student/Teacher trope has always been one of my favourites. The fact that’s it’s MM is even better. So reading this book peeked my interest right away. I’d say this is a slow burn still for this short novel as the spice really picked up a little over half way through the book. The characters were written thoroughly enough that I was rooting for them. The descriptions of what they’re feeling and seeing were on point. Some authors don’t write enough detail sometimes. But if I can visualize everything perfectly down to the very emotions and physicality, then the author is doing it right.
SPOILER AHEAD
The part where Taj made Mike wear a butt plug during his last lecture was hot AF. And then the fucking over his desk afterwards sent me. I’m glad what the dean did didn’t really affect them in the grand scheme of things because I’m the end they chose each other anyway.
I recommend this book if you want to read something short and sweet and spicy and totally forbidden in the best way 😁

Short and sweet read. Taj and Michael are great together. I enjoyed their instant draw to each other and how they got to know each other before they started a relationship despite that draw. I also loved that we got to see Roland and Austin again. And I hope book 3 will be Dani and Paulie!
I really enjoyed the pacing of this book and even though it was a shorter book I don’t feel like we missed out on too much of their story.
I received this ARC from the author and these are my honest opinions!
I enjoyed Mike and Tajs story slightly better than book 1. Mike doesnt understand how people are so attracted to him. He just appricates those closest to him. Despite the danger Taj poses to his life in Nigeria, he cant live without him.
Personally I’ve never had a teacher who I have listed after but I could definitely get onboard if I’d had one like Michael!!
I love the insta connection between him and Taj - the knowing each other before they actually knew who each other were! The push and pull throughout the school year is delicious! And as it should be there is a HEA but that’s all Im gonna tell ya!
The best think I’ve noticed about this author is her ability to show how gender and sexuality is fluid - just because you have been told something you’re whole life doesn’t mean that it is the truth. You choose to be who you are so keep making the right choices for you!
Ooh I really liked this one!!! The first in the series was good but this one was great! I adored both Mike and Taj. Taj and his confidence were delightful. I liked the fairly low angst of the story as well. They were both so drawn to the other and even though there was a little fight put up from Mike being concerned about the teacher/student dynamic, they both knew it was inevitable. The spice was absolutely top tier as well. Chef’s kiss.
I loved this story. Mike and Taj are sizzling hot together and meant for each other despite some difficulties, the most obvious one being they are professor and student. This story is well written with sensitivity and humour. Professor Horak was a snake but got his comeuppance and I liked the HEA. Thank you for allowing me to review this ARC copy.
Another banger as always. This was such a short but sweet romance story that had me swooning. Our two main characters are Micheal who is 32 and Taj who is 20. So if you're someone who isn't big on age gaps this might not be the story for you. I'm honestly one of those people I don't like age gaps when the character is under 21 however, I was so intrigued by the story that wildly enough the age gap didn't bother me at all. The story telling was just that good! We start off with Michael entering a gay club and having a 1 night stand with Taj. Which of course leads to a bi-sexual awakening that leads Micheal tossing all week until he decides he need to focus especially since his 1st day of teaching is arriving quickly. Micheal shows up to college campus fired up only to spot his one night stand in the crowd. TAJ IS A STUDENTTTTTTTTTTTT! Micheal is admittedly horrified while Taj thinks Heaven is currently smiling down on him because he finally found the man he could not stop obsessing over since that day at the bar. We then get taken for a ride through nothing but spicy scenes, some good foreplay & sweet romance. If I could describe this story in a few words it would be " Sugary sweet" Because everything about it was just sweet, warm, and tender. I literally smile so much throughout the story that my cheeks were aching. We also got some appearances from Austin and Roland from book 1 which was fun and tide into the story very nicely. I also thought we might've got a new bi-sexual character I couldn't tell with Lukas because it was a comment he made about someone that had me like ermmmmmm *smirk* but then the ending had me thinking maybe not lol. I'm also lowkey intrigued about Paul and Kingsley like what's their stories. The author always gives us great representation with characters I absolutely love that many were Nigerians. Also the attention to details is always a hit. The mention of prepping your partner because of "accidents" that can happen. Alot of authors just have the characters slamming it in there with no preparation besides spit and lube like nooooo its alot when you are bottoming such as the food you eat and douching and then being on PrEp was also mention!!! Like yasssssss entertain but also educate. The story was phenomenal I enjoyed every bit and will be recommending to others.
✎This novella series has me in a chokehold, the book just keeps getting better and better and I simply cannot wait to read the next book.
✎Micheal fiancée broke up with him,he’s traveling to a new city for an opportunity and he’s determined to make his stay a fulfilling experience,so he decided to go to a gay bar and one thing led to another and Mr.Straight man is in the toilet of the bar with a beautiful man on his knees before him.
✎Taj has not been able to sleep well for two days after giving a bl0wj0b to stunning stranger he met at the bar,his thoughts, dreams and time has been consumed with the mysterious man and it’s driving him insane. So imagine when he’s in the lecture hall and the man of his dreams[literally] happens to be his new lecturer.
✎I really love the story, love the forbidden aspect of it,loved how Micheal tried so hard to not give into the way he feels but it was futile because you can never really run away from what your heart yearns,I love the found family of it all, friends that shows up,family that loves without conditions and I love that, this story is about queer joy especially because the characters are Nigerian and yet they have such beautiful and supportive parents and extended family and still touch on the topic of homophobia in the country and the government. There’s no judgement but love, understanding and respect when it comes to both families.
✎If you love a good forbidden romance between a professor and his student, both of them are nerds, age gap that makes you go okay, then this book is for you.
✍︎Professor X Student ✍︎Forbidden Love ✍︎HookUp To Lovers ✍︎One Night Stand ✍︎Age Gap ✍︎Novella ✍︎Nerd X Nerd ✍︎Bi-Awakening ✍︎Dirty Talk ✍︎Mutual Pining
This book was definitely an experience because…boundaries? Yeah, they were definitely blurred.
I went into this book knowing it had the professor/student, age-gap and bi-awakening tropes, but I honestly wasn’t prepared for how messy, spicy and entertaining the story would be. From the first chapter I knew I was in for a ride (cos that’s why we’re here!!!)
Michael
Michael was such an interesting character to follow because his journey is really about self-discovery. After moving to another country and started work as a lecturer, he has an unexpected encounter that makes him question what he thought he knew about himself. I enjoyed watching him navigate attraction, denial, confusion, and the boundaries he knew he shouldn’t cross. His character brought a lot of the emotional tension to the story, and I loved seeing how he handled everything thrown his way.
Taj
Taj was definitely a character who brought confidence, curiosity, and tension into the story. His unexpected connection with Michael creates a complicated dynamic, especially because of the lecturer/student relationship. I really enjoyed the chemistry between them and how Taj challenged Michael to confront feelings and questions he probably never expected to face. Their dynamic was definitely one of the things that kept me invested in the story. Nothing prepared me for his full name fr😂😂 I laughed so hard when I coin out. (I won’t tell you😜,Goan buy your copy and read so you can find out too☺️)
And the spice? THE SPICE WAS SPICING.
I really enjoyed this one. It was fun, messy, unexpected and definitely kept me turning the pages. If you’re looking for something that will give you forbidden romance, tension, spice and a little bit of chaos, you should definitely add this to your TBR.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary eARC of Blurred Boundaries by G.T. Dípè in exchange for an honest review.
Blurred Boundaries by G.T. Dípè is the steamy second book in the Unintended Urges series. The story follows Michael, who takes a one-year job at a university in Prague after a broken engagement to get some distance and time to heal. Instead, he finds comfort in the arms of Taj Badmus—only to discover that his one-night stand is actually his student. While Michael knows the scandalous consequences could cost him his career, Taj is a twelve-years-younger force of nature who is entirely determined to cross every line the professor tries to draw.
This standalone MM forbidden romance delivers a whirlwind journey from a chance encounter to a forever kind of love. Rather than rushing straight into physical intimacy, Michael and Taj build a solid foundation of friendship first, allowing them to truly understand one another before finally giving into their undeniable attraction.
G.T. Dípè executes a fast-paced, high-heat narrative featuring a bi-awakening and intense forbidden-romance tropes. While the central conflict resolves a bit too easily, the pacing moves like rapid fire. The sizzling, 5/5-spice scenes are brilliantly balanced by a genuinely sweet romance, deep emotional connection, and engaging character dynamics.
Blurred Boundaries is a fast, scorching, and deeply satisfying read. If you love forbidden romance, professor-student dynamics, and high-heat chemistry, this is a must-add to your TBR.

A chance hookup in a nightclub in Prague leads to a beautiful relationship that was built on a deep friendship, trust and most of all- Love! ❤️
I really love Professor/Student stories and this one did not disappoint, in fact it was way more better than the first book with Michael Sawyer best friend of Roland and Austin ( probably because this is one of my favourite tropes)
A twelve year age gap with a surprising dynamic that just fits them to a tee…
I loved Taj Badmus (20)as a go getter who has respect for Mike’s wishes and boundaries and slowly wears him down to be friends with a deep connection and then the lines get blurred…and they find so much more than they both knew they wanted and needed!
Mike (32)was a real dreamy, sweet and engaging professor who everyone swooned over- however he only had eyes for one person… 👀
The only problem in their dilemma is the short time span they have before Mike must return to Nigeria to work at his father’s firm and to teach…
I loved all the support from Taj and Mike’s friends and family especially Kingsley who I hope gets a story…
A sweet epilogue two years later and a bonus epilogue with so much more surprises and little Easter eggs 🥚…
I look forward to more from this amazing author!
I voluntarily received an ARC from the author for an honest non biased review.
I received a copy of this book as a gift from the author and I have this much to say.
Nigerian romance just found its missing tropes, and G.T. Dípè is filling every gap. This spin-off follows a lecturer and his student, tracing back to background characters from Book 1. Taj is hot, seemingly rich, young (he'll remind you, Michael), and flirty, but only for Michael. He's a third-year law student in Prague, minding his business, until a transfer lecturer from Nigeria walks in. They meet by chance, and from there it's spicy as hell. Michael has never felt anything like this, and honestly, I get it, especially given his history. He's proof that sexuality is fluid: it looks like experience, but it's actually none at all. Baba needs to relax and enjoy the ride instead of convinced Taj is future corrupt politician material. Also, the way Taj texts is unhinged. "Hello my friend" every single time? Sir. And is it just me, or is a third series brewing for that hockey player, Kingsley? I'm greedy at this point, no shame. This book has zero homophobia. For queer Nigerian readers, that's the dream. If you're tense about everything, this is the soft, comforting read that will take the edge off and make you believe that love is not chaotic.
This was good! I really like how Michael handled their situation, contrary to what others might believe. Him setting boundaries actually allowed them to get to know each other before proceeding with anything else. That helped their relationship a lot in my point of view, I doubt they would have ended up together if they went ahead with only sex. But they probably would have because Taj is stubborn as a mule.
Michael was cute, actually. The way he couldn't believe the actions of Taj and his reaction to the kind of words that left Taj's mouth was adorable. Taj really left him fumbling all the time.
Taj was bold. He saw what he wanted and went right after it with no qualms whatsoever. And he got what he wanted. He was so possessive too, He was ready to attack anyone who looked at Michael even for a second, lol.
I really liked the appearance of more side characters in this one. They really added a nice touch to this book. Well, Paul and Kingsley in particular interest me.
If you are looking for a short story about a professor and his student, then this book is for you. This was an ARC Read.
Blurred Boundaries is a very short and easy read. The pace is quite fast, making me wish that there was more to the story. We follow Michael as he starts a new job as a professor in Europe; his first night there is memorable and unexpected; however, he does not realize how much it is about to change his life when he realizes the man he had a one-night stand with is his student.
I found the story a bit too fast-paced for my liking, making it feel like we were jumping from place to place; I wished things would slow down. It is a feel-good romance, and I loved the story and the characters. I especially loved how Michael did not jump right away into the relationship, but took his time to come to terms with what he felt and what he wanted to do about it. This book does end on a HEA, with everything working out for the couple in the end.
Great read if you want a happy, easy, sunshine feeling of a book.
A well-paced forbidden age gap romance between a professor and his student, that starts off spicy by a chance encounter is a gay bar bathroom stall and ends in a love story. Along the way there is more spice, fun banter, a little pining, a very persistent MMC, Taj, and a professor, Michael, who can't stay away.
This hook-up to friends to lovers, low angst book is a quick read but well worth the time. G.T.'s writing style is easy and packs a lot in short amount of time without overwhelming the reader or mudding up the plot.
Both Michael and Taj, are complete and likable characters. The chemistry and magnetism between them practically leaps off the page and is the driving force of the story. Even though you know there's going to be an HEA, the dynamics and shenanigans of the 2 MMC is engaging, hot and often very sweet, keeping the reader turning the next page racing towards the end.
I look forward to reading more of the series, including the first book guarded goalie.
I didn't think GT was gonna top the spice like she had in Guarded Goie but I have never been happier to be proven wrong. Michael has fled to Europe after being left at the alter he's just looking for some fun and maybe to forget. What he doesn't plan on is Taj who he has earth shattering chemistry with. However there's one problem Taj is Michael's student talk about a conflict of interest. Do they continue on being together knowing they shouldn't or should they call it quits. What if nothing men are exactly who the other needs. Sometimes something that shouldn't be is really the best thing to ever happen. GT went above and beyond with Michael and Taj's story there was spice and some parts that are just to hot to talk about here. Seriously I think I have become a life long fan of GT and I can't wait to see where she is gonna take us next and just how spicy will it be.
The second book in the Unintended Urges series is another great one, and while it may not be necessary to read the first book, it certainly will help and will recognise a few of the wonderful characters. This book is all about Michael, the very handsome lawyer, who heads to Prague to teach a semester at a University. His first day in Prague he hooks up with a hot younger man, Taj, who just happens to be in his class. Then he has to battle his feelings and his professionalism. This is a wonderfully written book with great characters and some very spicy chapters. I really enjoy the Nigerian representation in this series and look forward to the next book. These were such incredibly likeable characters and I really loved seeing their story and relationship grow. Definitely a great read!
Another fabulous read by GT Dipe!! I am loving the Unintended Urges series and this new to me author! These can be read as standalone books, but the characters from book 1 continue a bit in this book as well. And the main character Michael is briefly introduced in book 1 as well. Michael is a lawyer and professor who is acting as a visiting lecturer for a year. He has just been dumped by his fiancée - a female. He has never done anything with another man, but his best friend Roland (from book 1) was now with a man, so his interest was piqued. Super hot from the start! Teacher / student Age gap Younger H is the top and definitely more experienced and the "leader" in the relationship
Michael, a Nigerian single man has a bi-awakening in a club in Prague with Taj, a much younger man. Then Taj turns out to be a college student in his class on Ethics (ironically). With an aggressive pursuit of his professor, Taj is all in on a relationship and Michael fights it but can't resist. It's super steamy, unprofessional and unethical but the guys have to be together. I received a copy of this and this is my voluntary opinion.
I absolutely love Michael and Taj. Love the story of the stuggle it can be in different countries to be a gay man, how they overcome the stigma. Find love and happiness in this story. I love how Tag knows what he wants and doesnt give up. For an age gap M/M romance this one was different. Tag being the younger person and being the dominant one and knowing what he wants
Taj and Michael's chemistry is off the charts even though they know they shouldn't be together. Michael:I decide to make one more attempt at Sanity. "You know why this can't happen right?" Michael is still exploring his sexuality and Taj is more than happy to assist. This story is very fast paced and very spicy. Even though they try to deny their feelings, it begins to become a losing battle.
Really enjoyed this spicy wee novella! I loved the dynamic between Taj and Mike, and the way they were drawn to each other despite the obvious reasons they should stay away.
I would’ve loved to know more about the characters and their back stories, etc in a full book, but as a novella this was the perfect bite-sized story!
After a breakup, Michael has a first-time anonymous gay hookup, who turns out to be one of his students. The mutual attraction and spice is off the charts! Definitely recommend this book!
Great book, the professor/student was done well. Low-angst and a delicious read. I recommend this if if you like professor/student, and instalust/love.
