Billionaire CEO Cooper Brighton has one rule—never to fall in love again. His life is full of parties, hookers and hook-ups. But behind his panty-melting smile and Armani suits is a broken man, still haunted by his own demons. Until her…
The Plush Series is intended for a mature audience, 18+ only.
I am never quite sure how much time and consideration to put into a review for a very short book. Plush is for the 18+ crowd and there's a lot of sex and sex talk. I'm always amused at how often these books feature billionaires that sleep with a different woman every night and then falls in love with the barista. But seriously I did enjoy this candy cane of a novella.
Cooper, tall, dark and hot wants something that he can get excited about. He has everything he could want and a reputation for being not only aggressive in business but a dog with women. Womanizing has become sort of a necessity for him since he has found nothing that can quell him, until he sees her. This beautiful woman that he happens to see outside of a coffee shop. A barrista that has kept his mind preoccupied since he laid eyes on her, Allison. He will do anything and everything in his power to get her. With this in mind he begins turning the wheels that will ensure that Allison crosses his path. Yeah this series is only going to get more and more exciting! Yes, Copper is a bit of an arrogant ass, but he is exactly the type of bad boy we all want to reform and give him a dose of his own medicine which is why this book and series is so exciting to read. Get ready for Cooper ladies, this will be one heck of a ride!
Incredible writing! Allie is trying to transition into a new career and finds a sexy roadblock along the way. Cooper is doing business with Allie's company and she's thrown into a meeting with him that will change her future. Will Cooper hurt Allie's reputation? Does Allie hide her true feelings or is being honest going to cost her? KB Winters, Plush, has me hooked. It's a sexy must read story with a cliffy worth yelling about! Outstanding
Merged review:
From beginning to end Plush the Prequel was smoking hot. Cooper has a need for intense sex and to always be in control. But why? What makes him the way he is? Why is he talked about? Does he even know? What makes Cooper tick? Does Allie meet Cooper by chance or is something more going on! This is going to be a fantastic series! Outstanding work KB Winters!
I really enjoyed this prequel! K.B. Winters does such a great job of giving you the background on Cooper and some insight as to why he acts the way he does. I really love the way he dominates everything no matter what it is work, pleasure, conversation he is just dominate there really is no other way to describe it. This Prequel is definitely setting the stage for the series and if it is any indication this series is going to be smoking hot and we are all in for one heck of a ride. I will definitely be first in line I can't wait to see what journey K.B. Winters plans to take us on. If you haven't added this to you read list add it now you don't want to miss it!
This was very intriguing start to the story. The main character is a very complex man. Hiding some hidden seret and pain by using women and sleepi9ng with almst everything that comes along.Hes so busy and stressed with running all of his fathers companies that sex is his only real outlet. But he sees this woman that starts to change everything for him. She is pulling him back into seeing her even though he knows it is a very bad idea with his past history. But somehow he needs her. loved it 5 stars.
Cooper ends up as the CEO years before he is ready. He is determined to keep the company a success for his father. It takes all his time and is very stressful...cooper needs a way to relieve his stress. Cooper is a good looking man and loves to have control of his women. Why does Cooper always turn to women and why does he needs the control? Get a little insight into Cooper and how he really met Allie!
I love the way K. B. Winters writes! One of my very favorite authors. I laughed and I shed a tear. To me this series was fabulous! Allison (Allie) and Cooper were fabulous. Not all wine and roses. There was heartache and despair and there was fun and love. The billionaire was not pushed and used to no end. And I love being able to get the whole series at once. Wish it were bundled together though.
HOLY HOTNESS!! This book if off the hotness chart!!! From beginning to end this book is, how should I put it....action packed!!!! Cooper is so full of himself, I can't wait to see what makes him the way he is!! We were introduced to a couple of different women whom he was "interested" in. Looking forward to seeing which one he's the most "interested" in! This is going to be an amazing series!!
Dam could Cooper be any hotter, just what has happened in Cooper's past that he wont do relationships? In this we see that Cooper finds a release in sex but that is until he sees a certain barista and now he wants to know everything about and sets about making her his. I can see the rest of this series being smoking hot and with lots of steamy sex scenes
Holy moly!! Cooper is...freaking hot and full of himself, and he makes no excuses...yet! Very interesting start to what I assume will be an awesome series!
Cooper, appears to be used to getting what and whomever he wants, guess time will tell, so far holds true, but he has seen a girl working as a barista and has his sites set on her, we shall see?
A great way to start a series. Gives the reader some insight into exactly how bad the male character was at womanizing. This book had an epiphany at the end, a good read and what did he discover will be left a question in this review.
Loved this Prequel! Hot young CEO Cooper is every woman's dream! But he's not the 1 woman man type..... Or is he? Major cliffhanger leaves you wanting more!
Huge manwhore and we get details of him and OW (plural). Very detailed details lol. Not what I want to know when this is a romance in the long haul, but it's background for the rest of the series.
Cooper just took over his recently deceased father's company Plush. Cooper is known as a womanizer. He doesn't do relationships. But when he sees a dark haired beauty in a coffee place he needs to stay away from woman. So when he sees her again at The cafe called The Bean he has to known her name. Allie. Could she change his womanizer ways? Great read. Short.
This was a cute novella. I loved the small glimpse into the life of billionaire Cooper Brighton. I need more. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. I am dying to know how this comes to an end. The prequel definitely sets up the rest of the series and tons of sexy time scenes!
I shall be heading off to Amazon to get the rest of the books. Cooper is an alpha male who needs to be taken down by love and a good woman. I am hoping that will happen.
There are so many billionaire books that The stories seem the same, and blend in. But this was different, I like that the focus wasn’t too much in the sexual aspect. Although I don’t mind that. But this made the story better.
Cooper Brighton is an unapologetic womanizer/manwhore always just looking for his next conquest. He seems oblivious to and is shocked to find out the fact that womam already know this and don't speak very favorably of him. It doesn't seem to matter, he still gets women all the time anyway. He whines to himself that he's just lonely, yada, yada, yada. Boo hoo. He's a jerk.
He sees Allie, a normal beautiful barista at a coffee shop down the street from the apartment of last night's conquest he just snuck out of. Like a true creeper, he talks to the man she was just talking to and asks him all about her. Of course she's 'special' & he's going to 'make her his' etc., etc.
He's a douchebag. I don't care to see what's next and especially since this is one story split over 4 short books, I *really* don't want to read more about him.
3 stars because I like the writing but 2 stars because Cooper is an a$s and it's a short story serial.
