This book was amazing. I read it in 5 hours without taking a break. This man 🥵🥵🥵.
I loved the story. I was tearing up at one my . All my emotions were hitting me .

Urgh I loved this series so much and I’m so sad it has come to an end.
Nothing beats brothers that are ranchers in a small town and each fall in love.
I’ve loved Noah and Bella in every book before this so I was so excited to finally get their story and it did not disappoint.

This is the final book in the series and, after reading them all, I can easily say Noah and Bella are my favourite couple. That being said, I think this series has confirmed that this author’s writing just isn’t completely for me.
If you’ve read the previous books, you’ll already know Noah and Bella. Noah is Killian’s best friend, and Bella is Killian’s younger sister, so we’ve got the best friend’s little sister trope.
Their history actually starts eight years earlier, when they hook up at a Halloween party and Bella loses her virginity to Noah. The next morning, Noah claims he doesn’t remember what happened, so Bella keeps it to herself and spends years feeling pretty awful about the whole thing.
Fast-forward eight years and Bella has been with her boyfriend Justin for around two years, while Noah is very much the single, hookups-only type. Bella has also deliberately kept her distance from Noah.
Everything starts to change after a game of Never Have I Ever reveals to Justin that Bella and Noah slept together years ago. Justin becomes increasingly jealous and controlling, and eventually Bella discovers that he’s been cheating on her. When she goes to collect her things after their breakup, things turn ugly and she ends up running to Noah.
And from there? Cuteness. Cuteness. Cuteness.
This man is OBSESSED with her. 😂
I absolutely loved Noah once they were together. He’s so attentive and constantly tries to show Bella what she deserves from a relationship. Their chemistry is really good, there’s plenty of spice, and I loved watching their friendship slowly cross that line into something more.
We also discover that Noah did remember their night together eight years ago. He knew exactly what had happened but pretended otherwise because he had promised Killian that he would never go near his sister. I’ll be honest, this whole promise storyline didn’t really work for me. I also didn’t completely understand Killian’s reaction when everything eventually came out.
There is a third-act breakup when Bella discovers Noah has remembered all along. For her, it’s particularly painful because she spent years believing she had taken advantage of him and carrying all that guilt and shame. I actually think this could have been such an emotional moment, but again, I just wanted the story to dig deeper.
And I think that sums up my feelings about the entire series.
The ideas are there. The characters are there. The potential for angst and emotion is definitely there. But every time I felt like we were about to really get into the emotional side of something, it stayed quite surface-level. I wanted more conversations, more vulnerability and just a little more depth.
That said, this was still easily my favourite of the series. Noah and Bella were cute, the chemistry was there, it was an easy read, and I loved getting to see all the previous couples because the books overlap and you get to see the same timeline from different perspectives.
I’m glad I finished the whole series, and this was definitely the best one to end on.

B puts her all into everything she writes and you can really tell. She comes across as super down to earth and I love speaking with her 💕
Expect emotional healing, super hot spice which we of course love but the found family in her books are just top tier in my opinion 👌

I was introduced to B L Payne when I started stalking her books for the bookshop after a recommendation from a fellow reader, and I’m so glad I did because I was completely drawn into Rosewater Creek, its characters and this little town she created.
Shattered Oaths is the fourth and final book in the Rosewater Creek series, and it follows Noah and Bella. We’ve met both of them throughout the previous books, as this series follows a close-knit friend group/family as they find their other halves.
This one starts eight years in the past, when Noah and Bella spend a night together. The next morning, Noah claims he doesn’t remember anything… except he’s lying. Fast forward eight years and Bella has been in a relationship for two years, much to Noah’s displeasure. Then, in a rather brilliant twist of fate, circumstances mean Bella ends up living with Noah.
And if you know your small-town romance tropes, you can probably guess where this is heading!
I really enjoyed this story. I loved the tension that had been building throughout the previous three books, the characters, the storyline and getting to spend more time in Rosewater Creek. B L Payne’s writing has been fantastic throughout the whole series, and I think she absolutely nailed the final book.
This was a phenomenal ending to a series I’ve genuinely loved from beginning to end, and I’d highly recommend Rosewater Creek to anyone who loves a good small-town romance.

What can I say!! I have loved the fact I got the opportunity to read yet another one of B L Paynes books and boy did she delivery YET AGAIN!
I love that Noah and Bella’s story got left till last because it made the ending to the series that more special, I am honestly lost for words for this story, it was so good I ate this up!! It was very well written.

And just like that I'm completely finished with this series. These books have consumed my whole life the last week or two.
Noah certainly deserved his HEA so did Bella. And they couldn't be better suited. I loved their friendship and their deep uncontrollable feelings they had. What an amazing way to wrap up this world.

Bella & Noah were the perfect ending to this series, their story gets teased at throughout making you so curious when you finally get here.
I ate it up in 24hrs done - angsty, heartbreaking & heartwarming. Spicy in all the right places. Their story spans years and gives you everything you want from a brothers best friend, its always been you romance.

Arc review: I honestly was taking my time with book because I didn’t want it to end, it’s sad to see the series end but it ended with these amazing characters that I shed tears for🥹 I’m so happy I got the opportunity to read this amazing story with Noah and Bella, to see them be so fond of each other made me so happy. Obsessed with this book so it deserves 5 ⭐️

What an ending to a great series
Absolutely devoured this book. What an ending to a great series. Noah and Bella's book was worth the wait. Some of those chapters really choked me up, while others had me swooning or giggling. Who knew Noah had such a dirty mouth.
Sad to see this series come to an end but looking forward to seeing were B L goes next with her writing.

Oh my god. Noah and Bella!! A beautiful story, beautifully written. I cried at the end 😭 I am so so sad this series is over, I am excited to read more from this author she is unbelievably talented. Every single one of these books in the series have had me hooked from the start, all 5 star reads for me.

The final book in series, im so sad its finished. Bella & Noah were the perfect ending to this book and series. I loved everything about it from the storylines and the found family, the banter, the crying, absolutely everything ❤️ Amazing series

Noah and Bella finally got their happy ending! So sad to see this series come to a close, but couldn’t come with a better story to wrap it up. I am excited to see what is to come.
