Vanessa Carter carries the weight of ministry with grace, but every smile hides a burden. As unexpected discoveries begin to shake the foundation of Greater Promise Community Church, she'll learn that some secrets refuse to stay buried.
The author really needs to stop mixing up the characters names. The book was an okay read for me. It’s too short to end on a cliffhanger in my opinion.
WITAW😬🥴👀🤦🏾♀️⁉️This “Church as Usual” series is/was a hot mess for NO logical, fictional or hypothetical reason🤬🤦🏾♀️‼️“First Lady Problems: A Short (Church as Usual series)” - Book 2 was abysmal with no substance. Foremost, the recurring character names apparently appear on a subjective scale. Thereafter, even at a smaller ministry, “First Lady” is not an official appointed church office. Rather, this title is one of cultural respect only. Consequently, the “Pastor’s Wife” wouldn’t be a custodial officer/Trustee of church finances. Frankly, the implication would be a violation of the Church Constitution & or Church By-Laws. More so, the conflict of interest created fiduciary problems, just not “First Lady Problems”🙄👀‼️
It was ok but this is the 2nd book in the series that the author has mixed up the character names. One page he’s Pastor Stanley and the next he is Pastor Elijah. I’m like who is Elijah 😩
