About the author

Jaide Fox

77 books65 followers
Jaide Fox has always had a passion for fantasy and the paranormal, having discovered both at a young age and devouring every book she could get her hands on, watching every movie that even hinted at her interests. It wasn't until she was in high school that her mother introduced her to romance--and she was hopelessly hooked.

Eroticism has never really been a part of fantasy, nor romance, and Jaide craved to see the two combined. Not able to find anything on the current market, she decided she'd write her own books to satisfy herself.

Jaide hopes readers will enjoy her first offering from NCP. She has many more novels planned and is currently breathing life into other adventures.

She lives in the middle of nowhere in a swamp, surrounded by all sorts of wild creatures (including snakes and spiders--which she gets rid of on sight!) and one mottled black cat who ambushes her from time to time.

Also writes Erotic Historical Romances under Julia Keaton and Celeste Anwar.

It is hard to mark a book as read when I haven't technically finished it, but I need to put myself out of my misery. I made it to page 56.

This is not a long book. It should have only taken me a few hours, but I have been trying to finish this story off and on for days now to no avail. I absolutely cannot stand Nash and Rambo. There are literally pages and pages and pages of them bickering and sniping at each other. They keep calling each other the same names and have the same argument over and over again. Quite frankly, I don't want to fucking hear it anymore. The "heroes" are undercover, and apparently the author feels the need to give us a play-by-play of their days, which aren't consisting of anything worth knowing about. Even their interactions with the "h" are boring. Pages and pages of boring nothingness that could have been wrapped up in a sentence or two.

I am bored almost to tears with this story, and I can't even skip ahead to see if it gets better. Serious waste of my time and money. Don't bother.
