An ancient box. An age-old evil. An inescapable fate. Mirissa Colson thought she’d already fulfilled her destiny to save the world when she defeated the demi-god, Daedric. But when strange atmospheric conditions cause the ancient key she wears around her neck to go molten, she finds there’s a lot more work to be done. Pandora’s Box has been opened, and it contains far more than just illness and strife. It’s been the five-thousand-year prison for Eris, a goddess who is determined to eradicate humankind. Aided by the Omega Group—a secret preternatural agency formed to keep the world safe from supernatural threats—Mirissa faces her most formidable foe yet. She might be the most powerful Amazon to ever walk the earth, but taking on the Greek gods themselves could prove beyond even her capabilities. Mankind is counting on her to win, but either way, Mirissa will lose.
Born and raised near Toronto, Canada, Andrea Domanski moved south to get away from the cold as soon as she could—snow is not her friend. She now lives in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Mark, their two incredible children, and their Golden Doodles.
After selling her very boring business in 2012, Andrea focused her energies on raising her children and finding a new career path that excited her. It wasn't long before she decided writing a novel—something she'd always wanted to do—would be her next big adventure. And she hasn’t looked back since!
OMG! Pandora didn't disappoint!--that was my reaction right after I read this book.
The book cover looks really pretty; it gives off aura that this installment will be fiercer, darker, more intense and ultimately better than its older bros precedents.
Andrea Domanski is a really fantastic learner and writer. Her latest works always try to beat its previous ones. She is seriously getting better and better and better! I seriously wonder... are there more rooms for more "better's"?
I'm curious how she does it--create better stories than the previous one; create new characters and put links from these new ones to those existing ones and write a new environment for Pandora that will not wipe away the already formed sparkles of climactic expectations from the readers of her previous books in the series.
This is really good. I can't get enough with how seriously the new chapters of life of the Omega Group become increasingly thrilling and fun to ride!
Though, I find the attempts in jokes and punchlines to be lame instead of funny, this seriously did not cause damage to my overall reading. Rogue is the funniest book in the series, by the way.
I am quite worried for Andrea and the next book in this series. Can they maintain or surpass the excitement Pandora left? I seriously have to read it to know! And you, people, should read all published books in the series to understand what am talking about. This is serious. YOU MUST GET A COPY NOW!

writing this review I have to start off saying that these books are my guilty pleasure, I will read all the books in this series because I love the omega team so much and just want more. my favourite of course is Greco :):):) and although he's very much there in this book its more Marissa and flips show with the added help of queen Myrine and the wonderful Amazonians.
I love a good Greek mythology book, the gods and demi gods, good versus bad. I have to say one thing andrea does well I tell us what Greek myths say but she turns them around to make them suit her characters and situations
“Is it really Pandora’s box causing all of this?” Mirissa’s mother asked. “I’m afraid so,” Artemis said. Mirissa thought the goddess sounded tired. The strength that normally radiated through her voice had been replaced by something else. Despair? “I remember the story of Pandora from my Mythology class. Zeus gave her a box and told her not to look inside. She got curious, opened it, and let all of the world’s evils out.” “Not exactly,” Artemis replied. “You see, this planet you call Earth was once our playground. For millennia, the gods held dominion here. When Zeus created man, he gave this world to you, which angered many of the gods, none more so than Eris, the goddess of discord. She tried, unsuccessfully, to rally the other gods against Zeus. When that didn’t work, she turned her wrath toward mankind. Destroying all humans became her sole purpose. ”
another time Andrea works her magic by twisting history:
“This mosaic depicts the Battle of the Amazons,” her mother said, pointing to the floor. “It was one of the largest and most brutal battles in our history.” “That was our biggest loss, wasn’t it?” Greco asked. Myrine smiled. “Depends who you ask. Amazons were never big on documenting their battles because they didn’t fight for glory. They fought against tyranny. The Greeks, on the other hand, documented everything. They wrote their stories with endings that suited their needs. And since their accounts are the only ones left, people either believe they defeated us, or that we didn’t exist at all.” “Some things never change,” Mirissa said. “ The history books of the future won’t have any mention of the Omega Group’s escapades.”
now on to one of my new favourite characters Flip, I found myself really feeling for him especially after how the gods treat him and show him no kindness so when he meets Marissa he's can't believe that she actually worries about him and looks after him. I also found Flip to be a lot smarter than we first think, the fact that he keeps getting sayings wrong make me love him even more,
“Of course,” Flip said as he rose from the chair , stretching his limbs. “It’s not rocket surgery.” Mirissa giggled as Flip once again mixed up a common saying. “Science, Flip. It’s not rocket science.” this is only one example he does it quite a bit.
i think if your a fan of crime tv shows, where there's a different case each week but there's been one unsub who pops up a few times between episodes before being caught this series Is like that only it has a twist they are not ordinary people they are paranormal/ god desendants who are kicking ass and saving the world from super villans, if that sounds like something you will enjoy this is the series for you. the omega family will have you falling in love, laughing, crying, angry, shocked and much more.
I don't know how she does it, but Ms. Domanski keeps churning out new books in this series with amazing speed - and they just keep getting better and better! I loved spending time with Mirissa again, as I've been missing my favorite girl, and the tension in this book is unbelievable. Mirissa is thrust into her most dangerous challenge yet, once again facing the demigod Daedric, along with his aunt Eris, in a battle to save the world. This original take on Greek Mythology is truly fantastic, and as always Domanski's writing is clean, action-packed and full of humor. I found myself laughing a lot at my new favorite character, Flip. I really hope to see him again in the future!
I highly recommend this entire series, but Pandora can also stand on its own. Ms. Domanski is a writer to watch!
I liked this book. I especially liked that it brought in the mythology surrounding Pandora's Box, which has always fascinated me. This book centered around a lot of mythological characters such as Zeus, Eris, Pandora, and more, which I liked, while tying it to the Omega Group storyline. I listened to the Audible audio book narrated by Melissa Chatwood, and I really enjoyed her narration. She uses good character differentiation and uses accents for her characters that sound believable. If you are a fan of the series, or just like paranormal urban fantasy, I recommend giving this one a try. I actually think it is one of the best in the series.
Loved this book. I love the character development and the connection I feel with them. I don't want to say to much and spoil anything for those of you who are still reading but you are going to LOVE Pandora. I loved all of her books.
I so enjoy Mythology and Andrea's take on Pandora and the Gods was fun to read. I was sad at the end but no spoilers and happy it ended the way it did. I look forward to the next one.
This series continues to be fun and quick to read. This one has a lot more interaction with Greek Gods and Goddesses, and Mirissa is continuing to develop her powers as she is challenged more and more. Finally we find out the use of the key she inherited.
These books combined my love of both Greek mythology and a action packed paranormal adventure , with a nice touch of romance. Definitely my cup of tea!
