A biker, a late-night call, and a plea for help start a whole new life for Chaos and Bianca. Chaos’s late-night ride with his club brother, Troublemaker, leads to rescuing Troublemaker’s cousin from a bar, where Bianca is found drugged and hiding. Back at their club’s compound, Bianca’s cousin and the Pagans learn she was there on a mission. Bianca is determined to find whoever is assaulting women and leaving them without memories. The Pagan Souls try to convince Bianca to walk away and let the police handle things. What they don’t tell her is this is the kind of situation the club gets involved in. And when they do, those at fault usually disappear rather than go to jail. Even as Bianca agrees to drop her hunt and stay out of the bars, she’s hiding her intentions and why she’s driven to help the women involved. Chaos finds himself obsessing over Bianca, and he doesn’t know how to handle it. Or he doesn’t until he speaks to one of his club brothers. And an experiment shows Chaos exactly what his path needs to be and Bianca’s place in his life. Only there may be obstacles. Does Bianca want what Chaos does? Will Troublemaker take Chaos’s head off? What are Chaos and Bianca hiding? The answers are key because without trust and honesty, how can they have a life together? And when the truth is revealed, what will the fallout be? Come along for the ride where Chaos loses his heart to a Lioness. And another Pagan Soul fights to win and keep his forever woman.
Boring, predictable plots and just not as good as her previous books.
I keep reading this authors books as I’m an eternal optimist that they’ll get better. Sadly they don’t. I think this author has just got too many different series on the go at the same time and they’re all starting to feel really rushed through. This one was worse in a way as a plot from the O’ Sheerans was used and it felt like she just changed their names and ages and that was it!! 😡😡😡😡
When Mishap gets a call from his cousin Bianca that she’s been drugged and is in bar, Chaos goes with him, and is instantly pulled towards her. Bianca is investigating women who are being date r*ped after being in bars. I really don’t understand what she thought she could do being a woman on her own! Anyway moving on, when the club realised what she’s investigating they discuss it and they start to investigate the r*pes. WITHOUT TELLING BIANCA ANYTHING!!! So she thinks they’re not doing anything about it, and carries on her own investigation. (Oh good grief.) 🙄🙄🙄 Meanwhile her cousin who was really close to Bianca, (Yet had never taken her to the club, or introduced any of them to her.) suddenly changes and becomes horrible and won’t accept Chaos being with her. SOUND FAMILIAR????
There’s a couple of pointless arguments, a brutal over the top t*rture scene, endless s*x scenes that’s boring, and that’s it. IT’S BORING!
She needed help and called her family to come get her, but along the way she met and intrigued the man that would soon be her whole world. When he answered the call for help from his brother in arms, he never realized that the woman the rescued would soon mean and become his whole world. When Bianca and Chaos met they were attracted to each other but fought it, because her cousin was his brother in the club and they didn’t want problems. Neither of them could let the other go and were soon exploring their feelings. When it came to light that the reason she was drugged was because she was investigating sexual assaults thur the females being drugged the club decided to get involved and protect her as well as look in to them. Chaos found out why it ment so much to Bianca to find out why it was happening, and was soon all in and so was the club. They found out the why and took care of the problem and chaos and Bianca could finally try to forge a life together.
This was a really good one. Mishap is talked about in the beginning, and had me wondering why, then it rolls into him as Bianca's cousin, and getting her call for help, and of course a brother never rode into a situation where something could go wrong. Chaos was surprised at his interest in her so quickly. More then just worrying about her health and safety. He couldn't stop thinking about her. I love when the MC guys decide they are tired of the meaningless sex with the Bunnies. They see the men who have found their old ladies and have a family, and they want that for themselves. Great back story, and added angst with Mishap's sudden disturbing behavior. Great HEA ending. Trish. A.
Sometimes you find your one when you least expect it. We've met Mayhem in the previous Pagan books and don't know too much about him- that is until his cousin Bianca calls after getting into some trouble.
Not one to let his brother roll into a situation alone, Chaos and some of the others tag along with Mayhem to help his cousin. She's taken it upon herself to investigate a string of sex crimes against other women and has gotten herself into a pickle.
Chaos is taken aback by his attraction to Mayhem's cousin but first they need to get her to a safe place. He tries his hardest to push those feelings aside but that doesn't work and he's wanting to try a relationship with Bianca. But of course the start of the relationship comes with problems- and some we weren't really expecting- it's not always smooth sailing for the guys and their ladies.
Super excited to see what comes next for the Pagan Souls!
Chaos never expected to find his one while riding along to help out a club brother's family member. Bianca is an incredibly strong woman who takes it upon herself to investigate a couple of assaults that the victims can't assist with as they were drugged. Then she ends up drugged in a bar alone and called her cousin and Chaos came to help. When she lays eyes on Chaos, she enjoys the view but figures it isn't going to go anywhere. He tries to forget her but it doesn't work. When they start exploring a relationship, things really take off. This was a wild ride with a few twists that kept me guessing, so fun. Chaos, her cousin and the club makes some decisions that come back to bite them hard but it all works out in the end. Another amazing couple who goes through it and comes out stronger!
I liked how this one started out, that Bianca knew she was in trouble and reached out to her cousin for help, which brought her in the Pagan circle. It was interesting to see how Chaos reacted to her and what he did about it. I thought he went about things the right way, so it was crazy how Mishap reacted and continued to react. When they "why" of it all came out, it felt a little too pat, even if I was glad that the reaction wasn't real.
Bianca taking on what she did was interesting, more so when you learned why. I also loved how she figured things out with the club and was looking for help there. It was nice to see how things got taken care of and the problem went away.
I loved this story, it was smart, intelligent and filled with romance. The way the serious subject was handled shows how much Ciara has become the outstanding writer that she is today. Chao's and Bianca make a beautiful couple and must deal with the suspense and drama this writer is known for. Pagans familiar families and characters round out the funny moments along with the danger. I gave this one five shiny stars and highly recommend. So, lioness's roar come on board. Peace out.
Great story. I loved the characters and their connections. The author had me wondering and concerned about the direction she was going. I’m glad to see there was a HEA. My only concern was the outcome of the predator. The club members agreed that he had major issues and was not aware of what he did was wrong. This is the first book where I felt they should have handled him differently.
Insta love for Chaos, not quite for Bianca. Bianca is quite reckless considering the circumstance in which they met. But the mind games her ex husband played on her keep her off balance. And Chaos is trying to be honourable in courting her. I loved it.
Another biker bites the dust! It's so fun watching these big bad bikers fall for these independent women. Chaos met his Lioness when he least expected it. Be prepared for some twist that'll have you think what in the heck is she doing, but in the end, it all works out. Another great read.
What a delicious couple; Chaos and Bianca are smokin hot together. The book was so satisfying and captivating. When I went to bed each night I continued reading on my phone because I didn't want to stop reading. I love the cast of previous characters when they show up in each book. I am excited to recommend this book to you.
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about MC life and their families and friends 🧡. CIARA St James is an amazing writer ❤️
This story was very enlightening to the dangers of date rape drugs and the aftermath. The characters were so well developed and the revisit of previous brothers was awesome.
As usual, another great couple. Love the twists and different things happening at once. Keeps you on your toes. Cannot wait to see who is next in the series.
Well another awesome book! Chaos was awesome and his lady was his match all the way. Poor Mishap I hated what happen to him. Can't wait for the next one
