It was 794 AD in Ravenscrest, Scotland. Ainsley Buchanan awakens one autumn morning to the sound of terror, the sound of vikings. As the blood thirsty pagan Leif Axelsen makes landfall and ravages Ravenscrest her life will never be the same. She is forced to come to terms with his domination of her as she assimilates into Viking life as his slave. A special note to my While this story starts in a similar fashion to my Mastered by Vikings series, it takes a vastly different, and much darker turn dealing with a stretch of time spanning two decades. It was originally released under a pen name I have since retried and consolidated into my Chelsea Chaynes name given competition in the marketplace. I hope you enjoy! This 7,000 word story is for mature audiences only. It contains scenes and themes consistent with bondage, impregnation, submission to a dominant male and more. It is concluded in a 13,000 word sequel.
I don't know what this is but it certainly isn't erotica by any stretch of the imagination. There's stilted dialogue, stilted narration, beheading, town razing and rape. None of this is what I'd call erotic but, hey, whatever works for ya. Maybe it's just me. Terrible, ugly, non-erotic things occur and then it JUST ENDS! This isn't even a fully fleshed out short story. It's just a lead in to part 2. And from this snippet I want absolutely nothing to do with Part 2. Call me a wuss if you will. I can take it.
I realize this was a freebie and who am I to complain, right? But damn it my time is precious and worth something to me and reading an unfinished story pisses me off. To top it off the rest of the story would cost me $3.99 for 99 pages. I DON'T THINK SO.
Serves me right. I'm sticking with monster erotica freebies from here on out. At least they have a reason for behaving like monsters!

I typically don't rate stories that were free unless I liked them. Sometimes I break my own rules however, in instances when I find something genuinely disturbing.
Woman is taken from war savaged home and raped after watching her beloved husband beheaded and child left for dead. She was so overwhelmed with pleasure that she didn't seem to mind too much during the act.
What itch is this scratching?

Disgusting. She is raped and enjoys it, after watching her husband be beheaded and her baby left for dead. Unbelievable. As a married mother, this was the least sexy thing I could possibly imagine. Way to alienate probably the vast majority of your readers. 0.0
I really did not care for this book, but not just for one reason, but many. If left not desire to continue reading any book in the series. It was to me a waste of time and space on my Reader.
Good storyline. Needed more details. Some of the sex descriptions with chains was not realistic to me. Needed more feeling with descriptions of the characters. 🙂
I could not like this story. The writing was clear but the story was so paired down there was no character development at all. The one sex scene was a rape scene. It was not well written. Leif is crash and profane. There isn't anything to like. It's an interesting idea for a book but this wasn't a book it was two poorly written chapters.
