Actually not too bad. However weird it is that Rowan waits five years to finally think about some closure.. everyone moves in their own way so not a total out there. But the huge difference between before and after of the psycho cop seemed a bit much.

I found it interesting seeing Rowan seeing various reactions to his presence and knowing something more is going on than what he sees.

Oh and some more Dax follow through!

This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

This was a good story. Not only was the sex hot, but I liked the main characters as well as enjoyed getting some updates on others.

Dix has been through so much in his young life. He is only turning twenty-one. Yet he holds a lot of guilt over what happened to his parents, as well as his brother. And yay, he finally starts speaking again when he meets his mate Rowan.

I liked Rowan. He is a man who has been so involved in his own life as a doctor, that he never dealt with the death of his twin. I didn’t really get why it took him five years, but I overlooked it as I enjoyed the story itself.

This was a good addition to the series. Good characters, good sex, and a great follow-up with Dax and the baby.

Aww I Really really liked it. The only thing I didn't like was how Dix just randomly decided to talk again. It was so freaking boring!! Like he spends 17 years not talking and then for no reason at all starts talking. Unfortunately Selective mutism isn't miraculously cured. Tbh I would have been ok with a less than medical cure but just wham bam. .no freaking way.
But in the end it's fine bc rowan and Dix are super cute. And it's kind of nice that something so great came from something so traumatic.

It’s nice to see that Roderick is back to his bloodthirsty, “Kill it!”, homicidal ways. He did not immediately suggest killing as a solution in the previous volume, so I was getting concerned for his health. But nope, all back to normal.

This story on the whole was a nice one. No psychopath running amok, no creepy ex-boyfriend turned stalker. Just dealing with the fallout of an earlier volume.
Of course, some of the ways people reacted seemed extremely silly to me. But that goes with the territory, I suppose.
