Very exciting! Loved it!
This was a very interesting and exciting story. It's a story about a married couple with elementary aged children where both parents have very demanding professional jobs. They begin to drift apart and things begin to happen. I love the way faith in God was intertwined in the story even though they didn't always make good choices. I really liked the way the story showed how the enemy can try to get us to see things differently than the way they really are. It also touched my heart and made me cry when Ashley described to a mom how she took care of her baby in the NICU. There were some unexpected suspenseful situations throughout the story that made it exciting, also. The story ends on a cliffhanger but I am so looking forward to the next book to see what happens. I'm glad the second one is out because I plan to start reading it as soon as I'm finished with this review. I'm also thankful that they're available on Kindle Unlimited. Very well done. 😊

This was a fun and exciting book. Educational as well in the medical world and the fire fighting world. The drama in the story kept me engaged and I actually appreciated the power of prayer used in the struggles of the characters. The challenges were both personal with the characters and also with the people they protected and took care of. Easy reading!
