The Curious Clock: A Sherlock Holmes Short Story

Rate this book
Even for Sherlock Holmes, it's an unusual a frightened young woman, a series of murders, and an ominous clock whose hands sweep backwards. In The Curious Clock, Holmes and Watson must untangle it all — and keep themselves and their client alive as they do.

Holmes and John Watson are enjoying a quiet — if damp — London evening when a young woman from a local town sweeps in with an unusual and ominous a backwards-running clock. In her family, such clocks have been sent to victims shortly before their deaths. She wants Holmes and Watson to solve the case before the same fate strikes her.

Featuring Holmes, Watson, and a host of new characters, this 6,000-word short story will keep you guessing until the final twist.
