this was a great read! i love reading about the accidental pregnancy trope in books, so when i saw this book was releasing soon, i immediately signed up! usually, an accidental pregnancy starts at the beginning of the story usually before the main characters start to date, however this one started after they were dating, and i really really enjoyed how this trope was placed in the book! both adam and mia handled the pregnancy with so much care and maturity it was so refreshing to read about! these two characters were so communicative with one another, and throughout the story you could tell they both wanted to grow together to further strengthen their relationship! also, LOVE the found family aspects in this book, it was so much fun reading about group of people who just love each other so much and treat each other so well! additionally, i must add that every time this man said “honey” to mia i was so giddy, i literally started smiling while reading! overall, a great read and definitely recommend!

I absolutely love the Boston Blues series, so I was really excited to finally get Mia and Adam’s story in Catching Mine. We’ve gotten glimpses of Mia, especially in Stealing You, while Adam has been part of the series from the very beginning as Callie’s brother in Pitcher Us. After seeing little pieces of both of them throughout the series, I had been looking forward to seeing what Mollie Goins would do with their happily ever after. And honestly, Adam and Mia ended up being such a sweet addition to the series. 🥰

Adam was probably my favourite part of this book. He is such a genuinely good man and the definition of a walking green flag. 💚 The moment he realized he had feelings for Mia, he didn't run from them or spend half the book convincing himself he shouldn't want her. He simply accepted what he was feeling and started showing her in all those quiet, thoughtful ways that made it impossible not to fall for him too. He's incredibly observant, thoughtful, and attentive to what Mia needs, and I loved how naturally he slipped into that caring, supportive role. Honestly, I need to know where women are finding men like this because I would like one too!
Mia was just as easy to root for. She's strong, self-assured, fiercely independent, and completely capable of taking care of herself. I loved that being with Adam never diminished any of that. Instead, their relationship gave her even more confidence in herself and her abilities. She spends so much of her life trying to stay in control and handle everything herself, so seeing her slowly learn to trust the people around her and allow herself to accept help was one of my favorite parts of her character arc.
I think Adam and Mia worked so well because they complemented each other without trying to change one another. They challenged each other in the best ways and encouraged each other to step outside their comfort zones while still respecting the people they already were. They were incredibly protective of one another, but there was also so much trust between them. They genuinely wanted to see the other person succeed and become the happiest version of themselves.
I also thought the accidental pregnancy fit their story surprisingly well. It never felt like the trope was there simply to create drama; instead, it gave both of them an opportunity to grow and reevaluate what they wanted from their lives. I really liked how maturely they approached everything and how believable their reactions felt. The book also touches on some heavier subjects and complicated family dynamics, and I thought those elements were handled thoughtfully without taking over the romance.
And then there's the Boston Blues found family, which continues to have my entire heart. 🥹 I love how these guys show up for each other, both when things are going well and when someone needs a little extra support. It makes every book feel connected in a way that goes beyond simply having characters make cameos. And speaking of cameos, seeing Jett and Wyla again was such a treat! I miss my babies, so getting to see them happy and enjoying their life together was an added bonus for me. I will never complain about an Aster Creek appearance. 🫶
My only issue was that the story felt a little too smooth for me. I actually appreciated not having a third-act breakup or some frustrating miscommunication keeping Adam and Mia apart, but I did find myself wishing there had been a little more conflict somewhere along the way. Considering everything they were dealing with, I think a stronger obstacle could have added more tension and made the eventual payoff hit harder.
Still, I had such a great time with Adam and Mia. Catching Mine was a sweet, easy-to-read romance with a fantastic couple, a wonderful found family, and plenty of those little moments that made me smile. It was another lovely addition to a series I've been enjoying from the beginning, and it definitely has me even more excited for what's still to come. 💕
And now we finally get Tripp and Emma! 👀These two have been dancing around whatever is going on between them for long enough, and I am SO ready to see them finally figure it out. I'm excited to see how Mollie Goins brings the Boston Blues series toward its conclusion, although I'm definitely going to be a little emotional about saying goodbye to this group when we get there. 😭

Adam is the definition of a green flag. From the moment he realizes he has a crush on Mia, he pays attention to the little things that matter to her, and the thought and care he puts into their first date completely stole my heart.
One of my favorite parts of their relationship was how they encouraged each other to grow without changing who they were. Mia learned to loosen her grip on work and trust the people around her, while Adam found himself stepping outside of his routine and embracing a little more spontaneity. Watching them bring out the best in each other made their romance feel authentic, supportive, and incredibly easy to root for.
The accidental pregnancy trope was handled so well, and it’s a trope that will always win me over when it’s done with this much heart. It felt natural to their story and only made me love them even more.

I KNEW ADAM WAS GOING TO BE MY FAVORITE. When that man brought in his list for Mia, I was cooked. Literally, their list loving selves feeds my soul. They are PERFECTION. This book is everything I imagined. The banter, the love, the found family, it was all so perfect!
YALL ARE NOT READY FOR ADAM FREAKING REYER. This man is easily top book boyfriend OF THE YEAR!! He plans “Mia-fied” dates & completely gets Mia’s confidence, & independence, yet will gladly have her back. He is an 11/10.
Mia is THE BOSS BABE 👏 I love it when a FMC refuses to let anyone talk bad or hurt their partner. I also just love Mia & her lists too. Their plan was unconventional and it reminded me of my own life and I just loved it.

Easily the softest romance I have read this year. Not a second of angst in sight, and I loved every page of it!!!
SO much healthy communication, SO many swoony moments, and a found family that shows up for one another over and over!
I absolutely loved Adam, but for me, Mia stole the show!!! Hands down will be a top FMC of the year for me. I loved that she was successful on her own and Adam was ALL about her success! She didn't need any knight in shining armor, but she had one! And he loved taking care of her, not because she needed it, but because he loved her!
If you're looking for a soft swoony romance (with plenty of spicy moments) that you can read in one sitting, this one is for you!

Adam + Mia’s story made me remember I love a good accidental pregnancy when it’s done right. It’s an exception for me when I love one, so if/when you need an accidental pregnancy rec be prepared for me to share this one on repeat. There’s just something so nice + refreshing about the FMC not becoming a completely different character/man hating bitch the second she gets a positive pregnancy test. And I love reading about two adults navigating this crazy journey we call life.
If you haven’t read Mollie yet, please start with Despite It All (secret baby perfection, which from above you should know says A LOT!) then spin off to the Blues. I promise you won’t regret it. I loved seeing my OG BB’s Jett + Wyla in this one.

The way I am so obsessed with this series needs to be studied. It is one of my fav baseball romance series and if you haven’t read it, you seriously need to add it to your TBR! Although it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading it in order for the whole found family aspect! 🩵

Mia and Adam’s story is to die for. It felt natural and real straight from the beginning. No third act breakup because Mollie gets it. Now, unexpected pregnancy is typically not my cup of tea; however, Mollie just does everything better. I love their relationship and how supportive one another was to each other.
The group texts are always everything. I’m excited for Tripp’s book. His denial is so funny to me.
Callie’s role as Adam’s sister and their trauma was so prevalent in this book. Literally love how they are so close. Oh and Adam’s old coach. Like cmon. He’s the best.

ehhhh this was fine 🤷🏽♀️ timeline was too fast for my liking and it was like the 3rd surprise baby book i read in a row so i think i was just over it. they barley started dating and then he was gone for like a month then it somehow turned into a marriage of convenience of sorts 🙄 but not really since they wanted to keep dating as normal but now they would just be married and having a baby ????

Oh, how l just adore every last thing Mollie writes— there's something special about Catching Mine in particular that spoke to my Boston Blues loving heart in a quiet, emotionally intimate sort of way. Adam and Mia are true soulmates in the way they provide peace, safety, comfort, and 'home' for each other. I love an FMC who knows she's the boss in every meaning of the word, but still allows herself vulnerability regardless, especially with her partner when she really does need to be taken care of. The surprise pregnancy in this is perfectly done to me! Just the right amount of lead up, and the exact reaction I wanted from Adam at the news. It's imperative in pregnancy trope (for me at least) that the FMC has every opportunity to make decisions for herself, and I adored that Adam, who finds solace in control before he truly knows Mia, gave her that decision full stop with no questions asked or pressure added. These characters just spoke to me! Mia's self assuredness and drive, Adam's quiet loyalty and nerdy side, every moment knowing them apart and together made me love them even more. And the twisty turny ending! It raised the stakes at just the right time, and seeing the bad guy get what's coming to them is going to hit for me every time. And come on, who doesn't love a wealthy FMC?? As a true Boston Blue's fan, this was everything and more, and felt like a love letter to those of us who've watched this series unfold! I think this is perfect for readers who love quietly intimate love stories with no third act breakup, and mature main characters who make each other the priority. Fans of Chelsea Curto will LOVE Mollie Goins if they haven't tried her yet! Mollie, this series is so incredibly special and l am in denial about it ending! Mia is equally incredible. She’s ambitious, fiercely independent, and refuses to lose herself while navigating everything life throws at her. I loved that she was allowed to be strong while also being scared, determined while still needing support. She felt wonderfully human.
What I adore most about Mollie Goins’ writing is that she never relies on unnecessary drama. The emotional moments hit because they feel authentic. The romance is tender, the chemistry is undeniably hot (those Adam POVs… excuse me while I combust), the banter is effortless, and every page is filled with so much heart that I found myself smiling one minute and feeling emotional the next.
If you’re looking for a romance with found family, incredible communication, emotional depth, sizzling chemistry, mature characters, and a hero you’ll be thinking about long after you’ve finished the book, Catching Mine absolutely deserves a spot at the top of your TBR.

The moment I found out what Catching Mine by Mollie Goins was about, I knew it was going to be the perfect book for me. I love the surprise pregnancy trope. I love marriage of convenience. But both in the same story? I couldn’t wait to see how the author would bring them together.

Even though the story, the relationship, comes with plenty of surprises, everything felt natural. At no point did Adam and Mia’s relationship feel forced. Quite the opposite. I completely believed in them as a couple and they felt like such a good match. What I loved most was watching Mia slowly let her guard down around Adam, allowing herself to give up control every now and then. And Adam never takes advantage of that. Instead, he understands how important her plans are to her and supports her. He’s incredibly caring and thoughtful, which made it impossible not to love him. At the same time, I was curious to learn more about his inner struggles.
💕 “I’ve always believed in fate, to an extent. I believe that being lucky is a construct formed by hard work.”
I also appreciated that the story doesn’t rely on unnecessary drama. Adam and Mia have genuine, human reactions, but what really makes the difference is that they communicate. Fear, panic and insecurities are all natural and I thought they were portrayed in a very realistic way. I also loved that Mia’s pregnancy isn’t just there to check off a trope, but it’s an important part of the story and we get to experience this new chapter right alongside her.
I was a little worried about how the marriage of convenience would fit into the story, considering Mia’s pregnancy, but the author handled that really well too. Everything was developed so naturally that I never once felt like they were getting married just because of the baby.
Then there’s the wonderful people surrounding them, which only made me wish I had already read the previous books in the series, but I’ll definitely be going back to them. And Emma and Tripp’s story sounds so intriguing and I’m already looking forward to reading it!

Oh man. I don't think I have ever highlighted so many lines in a book before. I adored this entire thing!
I loved their banter and dates they went on. Adam had trauma he had to deal with that hurt my heart, but he was SUCH a good guy. He was thoughtful and genuine....with a need to be ten minutes early to everything. Mia was a bada•• all on her own. She was smart, funny, loyal, loved her matcha, quick witted....and had a slight addiction to heels.
When I tell you this book is loaded with great lines, I am not exaggerating. The writing is perfection. 💯 The characters and flow of the story? Spot on. The humor? 🤌🏽. The chemistry? 😮💨 The way Mia handled the threats and intimidation? 👏🏽.
So. So. Good.

Adam Reyer is THE book boyfriend, the way he takes care of Mia from the very first encounter is incredible.

This was such a great read! I love the accidental pregnancy trope, and I really enjoyed that it happened after Adam and Mia were already together. It made the story feel fresh, and I loved how they handled everything with so much maturity and communication.
The found family aspect was another favorite of mine, and every time Adam called Mia “honey,” I couldn’t stop smiling. Overall, this was such a sweet, heartwarming read, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Mollie once again making me cry and swoon and fall in love. I could not have pictured Adam and Mia’s story going any other way. My type A king and queen having life throw a curve ball at them was everything they needed. I love both of them BAD. NO NOTES per usual but I’m so sad we will be leaving our Boston blues after next book but omg I need Tripp and Emma BADDDD.

Guys, I don’t know if I can express how much I loved this book. IT. WAS. SO. GOOD! I’m obsessed. I’ve loved this Boston Blues series since Pitcher Us, but Catching Mine made me love all the characters all over again. This book had a badass FMC who owns her own restaurant and a “teddy bear” baseball player MMC, who’s fine with his life the way it is. There’s also found family, an accidental pregnancy and a marriage of convenience, all of my favorite tropes.
Mia was such a great FMC. She was fierce, independent, intelligent and strong. She learned a lot about business from her dad and grandfather and used what she learned to continue the success of her restaurant. I loved her attitude and how she’d stick up for herself. She let Adam in and I just loved how she trusted him and knew he was her end game.
Oh, Adam. This man had gone through so much in his past. However, he overcame all of that and became such a great man. He listened to everything Mia told him and I love how he always took her thoughts and comments into consideration when planning their dates. He loved Mia for who she was and supported her in all her decisions,
These two together were literal perfection. I absolutely loved their banter. They communicated! This was my favorite thing about them. They were always open with one another about what they wanted and needed. They supported each other in their careers. There was never any unnecessary drama between them and I loved that so much.
I also have to mention that I loved getting more of the couples from the previous books in the series. Getting more of Jett and Wyla was also so awesome. I loved their story so much. This series definitely has a top tier found family.
Overall, I loved this book and I cannot wait to reread it and the entire series. This is a new “favorite of all time” book for me. I would 1000% recommend it and the whole Boston Blues series.

The premise of this book really sold me on reading this book and now that I have fuly read it I can confirm it is such a fun and cute book to read!
Mia and Adam begin their realtionship in a typical way, they flirt, spend some time together, and become boyfriend and girlfriend.
They're in their honeymoon phase of their new realtionship when they unexpectadly get the news that they are pregnant. Both Mia and Adam get thrown into disarray with this news, Mia who has always been a planner is in shock, she's just recently come to inherit her father's restrutant after years of working her ass off and Adam, has only just grown comfortable with his life in Boston.
Regardless of their anxieties and fears, Mia and Adam know that they want to keep this baby and that although they've just started their realtionship they've never been more serious about further pursing it.
I genueily thought this was such a unique approach for the surprise pregnancy trope. The conflict doesn't exist within having a child or within the realtionship but about preparing as a couple together for this baby that they will be having.
Both Mia and Adam are so supportive of one another and communicate about their hesistency/fears along the journey. You get to fall in love with them at the same time they fall in love with one another it's honestly romantic.
I haven't read any other of the Boston Blues Books but this book has encouraged me to give it a go!
There were some couple hiccups along the way through reading this, like the timeline could've been better drawn out and communicated alongside some of the scenes that implemented the timelines. There were also some random plot points that felt rushed or last minute.

Catching Mine was everything I wanted in a book where the FMC is a badass boss woman and the MMC is the type of guy that shows her it’s okay to accept help and take a step back. Mia and Adam were actually SO cute in the beginning. I loved that they clicked instantly, but it wasn’t a insta-love trope or anything. They just purely enjoyed being in each other’s presence.
“I thought I was good, but looking at this woman across from me now, I can’t help but feel like everything in my life would be better if I got even the smallest bit of her every day.”
I don’t get to read FMC’s like Mia’s character often. I loved how smart, busy-savvy, independent, and badass she was. Although Mia came from money, she was smart with her money and she has A LOT of it. Usually it’s the other way around where the MMC has the money.
Adam is such a perfect gentleman and he is the blue print for a good boyfriend/good husband. I didn’t expect him to be such a flirt, especially after reading the last three books. He is just as Mollie and Mia describe him to be, a teddy bear.

Catching Mine had two of my favorite tropes—accidental pregnancy and marriage of convenience and although Mia and Adam didn’t go the “traditional” way, I really enjoyed these tropes in Catching Mine and the plot.
Mollie doesn’t write third act break ups and I love that because her books are feel-good books to me. I wondered what was going to be the conflict in Catching Mine and what Mollie did for the conflict and the antagonist was PERFECT. I wasn’t expecting anything, but boy was I surprised.

Mia and Adam had an absolutely fantastic accidental pregnancy romance. I was completely enchanted by them and their story. I’ve been obsessed with Adam Reyer since Pitcher Us, so finally getting to read his book was the cherry on top for me.
I had high expectations for this book, mainly because accidental pregnancy is one of my all-time favorite tropes, and Mollie truly aced it. I loved that Mia and Adam had already been dating for a little while before the pregnancy happened, so it felt much more organic than in some other accidental pregnancy romances. It’s one of the best books in this trope that I’ve read in a long time.
They were just so sweet together and truly had a special bond. When I tell you Adam was a possessed man when it came to Mia, I’m not kidding. That man was DRAWN to her from the very beginning. And I loved how she told him right away that he wasn’t her type, only to end up pregnant by him… Hmmmmm, something isn’t adding up. 🤭
But in all seriousness, Mollie’s newest release was pure gold! I enjoyed it so much and couldn’t put it down. Their chemistry was off the fricking rails!!!
So, if you’re a little iffy about accidental pregnancy romances, I can recommend this one without a doubt. It’s just done right, and I absolutely ate it up! Daddy Adam has definitely become one of my favorite book daddies, and Mia? Boss woman and exactly the kind of woman I’d love to be friends with.
And speaking of friendship, I also ate up the found family in this book. I loved getting so many moments with the other couples in the series, along with a few cameos from Jette and Wyla from Mollie’s previous series. It truly felt like coming home. 🥹
Seriously, this was a 6-star read!!! And I might be even more excited for Tripp and Emma’s book, Scoring Her, coming out at the end of this year!

I just love this series so much. The found family Mollie has created in the Boston Blues is unlike any other. And i adored every second of Adam and Mia’s story. Their instant chemistry, their connection, the pregnancy, the marriage. Some of my favorite tropes in this one were done differently than I’d ever seen before and i ate it up. Their relationship really was unconventional but i loved watching it all develop and them fall more and more in love with each other. Daddy Adam really is that man. He was really panicked about becoming a father because of his childhood, but with the way he navigated their relationship and Mia’s pregnancy, you would have never known. And Mia is a badass. That is all. She’s successful, she’s independent, and she’s so head-strong. And that ending!? I did not see any of that coming whatsoever but i loved the way everything ended up and worked out. I absolutely cannotttttt wait for Tripp and Emma.

I was so excited going into this because of the characters the story was following, their dynamic, and the tropes, and ultimately I think it lived up to my expectations. There was something so simple about Mia and Adam’s love that made it feel so special. They understood each other down to their core and they knew how to show up for each other time and time again. I loved how the accidental pregnancy and the marriage of convenience were worked into the story and I thought both fit the couple. I loved Mia as a character and her confidence and determination was just so enjoyable to read about. Adam was her perfect match and I loved his combination of grumpy and growly while also being a huge teddy bear. I loved getting to see the side characters and the whole team again and really liked the twist at the end. That being said, I would’ve loved for this book to have been longer. The last few chapters felt like everything got rushed and wrapped up way too quickly especially considering everything that was going on. It just felt a little unsatisfying as an ending. Regardless though, I absolutely loved this story and cannot wait for the final book later this year.
I was so excited going into this because of the characters the story was following, their dynamic, and the tropes, and ultimately I think it lived up to my expectations. There was something so simple about Mia and Adam’s love that made it feel so special. They understood each other down to their core and they knew how to show up for each other time and time again. I loved how the accidental pregnancy and the marriage of convenience were worked into the story and I thought both fit the couple. I loved Mia as a character and her confidence and determination was just so enjoyable to read about. Adam was her perfect match and I loved his combination of grumpy and growly while also being a huge teddy bear. I knew right from the jump I was going to be absolutely obsessed with this book. The chemistry they have is off the charts & their banter was everything. I love the ways that Mia & Adam both showed up for each other, these two are serious #relationshipgoals !!
Adam Reyer, nope ADAM WRIGHT, the man that you are!! The true embodiment of “looks like he would kill you but is a cinnamon roll.” This man is a top tier book boyfriend & he might actually be my favorite from the series now 🙈
Mia Wright is such a queen!! From taking over the family business to navigating a new relationship to finding out she’s pregnant, she handled everything with such grace & strength. Such a relatable female character!!

Mollie just keeps spoiling us with this series & I absolutely loved Mia and Adam.
Their story is unconventional at best but that’s what made it so special. Their instant connection and chemistry made the story so much fun and it is definitely a wild ride to their happily ever after.
The tropes in this book are some of my favorites so I knew I was going to eat this one right up.
The found family within the Boston Blues is one of my favorites within all the sports romance series that I’ve read. Truly all these characters have such a special place in my heart.
I loved all the special moments between Callie and Adam in this book as well.
Also, Mia is a badass and I want to be her when I grow up.

This is the first book I have read by Mollie Goins but her Boston Blues series has been on my tbr since I stumbled across it. (I’m a sucker for baseball romance!) This series can be read in order or as stand alones. I do not feel like reading this book before the rest of the series will take away from my experience.
Before I delve further, I want it to be known that this book does cover parental abuse (not heavily described) and unplanned pregnancy. Our characters do come from worlds of privilege but don’t come off as undeserving.
Mia and Adam certainly are a power couple that I am rooting for! While they certainly have a story that is dreamy, they still have some not so dreamy aspects in their lives. I think this speaks to the phrase “the grass isn’t always greener” and as a reminder that there are people who work hard for what they have, and are still good human beings. Overall, this is a quick and heartwarming read if you are looking for something light hearted and fun. Who doesn’t love a woman who girl bosses and a man who is head over heels for his girl and happy to be unconventional 🤭
