This isn’t my usual genre, but I ended up really enjoying it. It took me a little while to get into because I normally read books written in first person where you get all of the character’s inner thoughts. This one is told from more of a narrator’s point of view, so it was a bit of an adjustment for me.
Once I got into it, though, I thought it was a good read. It was very detailed, well written, and kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. If you’re a mystery fan, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

September 23, 2026For a brand new author this book was extremely well written. I love that it was not so far fetched that it was not believable. As the author was in law enforcement, it made the story so authentic which I truly appreciated. It didn’t have twist and turns but honestly, it didn’t need it. It surpassed my expectations and I’m excited to read more books from Tony.
