Tired of the late nights, the unanswered conversations, and feeling invisible to the man she loves most. What starts as a heated argument ends with a word she never meant to say—divorce.
But Rory isn't ready to let his wife walk away.
The next night, a mysterious text sends Sonya to Evergreene, an upscale bar where her husband pretends they're strangers. What begins as a seductive game of flirtation quickly turns into something far more intense when Rory leads her deep into the woods for a night she'll never forget.
I really appreciated that her husband understood the situation right away and went to fixing it. It was romantic. I would definitely recommend this book.
The book is only 42 pages long, but I rage quit on page 30 because of the absolute shite editing. I mean the grammatical errors, words in the wrong place, sentences that made no sense, and please don't get me started on how, "your/you're," clearly had this author in a choke hold. I just couldn't get into the story, at all.
Not to mention the fact that there was supposed to be a primal scene where he chases her through the woods and it barely lasts for a page length. She pretty much runs right into him, doesn't fight him or try to get away, and that's the scene. Whomp, whomp.
There's this element of BDSM, but there's no discussion of boundaries, safe words, nothing. It's clear that they've never played like this before, definitely not the primal stuff, but no discussion or informed consent. He just throws her into it. I want the ten minutes or so back that I spent reading this trash.
As usual, this was a sexy, quick read! But what made this one different was that it was short, sweet, and brought a marriage back together—and I LOVE that! ❤️
I love love with everything in me, but I especially love Black love, especially when it’s spicy, sexy, and full of that chemistry! 🔥❤️
Rory got his sht together faster than a mf! Her threat got him right together and he in turn got her right together!! Okay healthy marriage!! Loved their role playing too. That was cute!
This is everything i imagined when it comes to STRAIGHT SEX little cute angst backstory to explain the emotions behind this sexy journey & I loved everything about it.
This book is about 42 pages long, so it is a quick read. I also found that this book relatable to what some couples go through. Where the husband is so focus on working and trying to provide financially that he starts to neglect his wife and marriage. This causes the wife to feel unappreciated and undesirable. However, in this book the husband Rory saw the error of his ways and made it up to his wife quickly and dickly!
