This first book of the series The Hidden will grab your attention. It is riveting, keeping the reader's attention as the scene moves forward with suspense. C.R. Meyers is an excellent writer, and develops the character and scene impeccably. The only down side is I wanted to read more.... I am looking forward to reading the second in the series.

What is Gillian? I have no Idea, but I do know she is not human and that she is a killer.
I would love to read more by this author in this series specifically since the author has that rare quality of a person loving words and needing to use them in his writing, that alone merits his 5 * rating.
