Hide Little Traitor picks up right where Run left off. When Chloe awakens, she’s relieved to find Kingston Beaumont, her trusted friend, but that relief is short-lived. She’s worried about what Ryker and Ronan must be experiencing after her kidnapping, while Kingston has very different ideas about what her future should look like.
A series of events brings Damon into the fold, though no one is quite sure what his motives are. Once they’re reunited and on the run, Chloe starts to imagine what a future with all of them might look like.
One of my sticking points was how quickly everyone accepted that sharing Chloe was the only way forward. I’m absolutely willing to suspend reality for the premise, but I would have expected a little more resistance and adjustment from everyone involved. I also think the story could have benefited from a few more pages to let some of these developments, and the world itself, breathe a little.
That said, I really enjoyed this. Kingston was completely unexpected, and I’m simultaneously annoyed by him and swooning over him. His obsession is REAL, and the more I learned about his behavior and why he is the way he is, the more conflicted I became. And don’t even get me started on the switch that flipped with Damon. He’s not all in yet, but there was definitely a shift.
The action and impending danger kept me flipping pages like my life depended on it, while Chloe is over here living the steam dream.
So yes, I wanted a little more development in some areas, but that didn’t stop me from thoroughly enjoying the story. I’m already looking forward to Damon’s inevitable grovel - we know it’s coming! - and seeing what moves this group makes against Salvatore to get their well-deserved HEA.

4.5🌟 | 3.5🌶️
This sequel completely pulled me in.
I flew through it and loved how much deeper we got into Chloe and her relationships with these four very different men. The plot keeps things moving, but it was the emotional connections, history, and growing bond between everyone that really kept me invested.
Kingston was such a great addition, and I loved finally seeing his place in Chloe’s life. Ryker, Ronan, Damon, and Kingston each bring something completely different, and their jealousy, banter, protectiveness, and chemistry together were so much fun. Chloe also grows into herself more here, and I loved watching her become more confident about what she wants.
And that ending?! I genuinely did not see it coming. I am still desperate for answers about Damon and his father, and after that cliffhanger, I need the next book immediately.
This series has me completely invested in Chloe and her beautifully chaotic group of men, and I cannot wait to see where they go from here!

A huge thank you to Montana Fyre and The Smuthood for the ARC! 😍 All my bookish thoughts are completely my own. ✨

Thank you to The Smuthood Inc for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
The first book in this series had me intrigued. The sequel? Well, it had me hooked. Within only a few hours, I had devoured the entire book, setting aside my TBR to get this read. The plot generally is quite simple, the vast majority of the time we are just on the run or experiencing a burst of violence. But there was something about the emotional aspect that just held me. Seeing the connections between the characters, watching them form and deepen, was what made the book for me. Without that, I think everything would have felt more surface level. Character wise, it was fun getting to know the leads more. I am still dying for information on Damon and Rowan’s dad and his reasonings for everything. I am hoping and praying this is introduced in the next book because I feel it would add so much! In the last book, the Why Choose aspects we did see were very much with Camilla. Well, it’s been turned up to 11 with Chloe and her men. Wooooo. We see sweet, we see spicy and a whole lot of jealousy too. A fantastic combo for a dark why choose romance! I can safely say I was not prepared for the ending. I was so engrossed in the story that I didn’t see how swiftly I approached the end and then when the cliffhanger came? Nope. I damn near threw my kindle. Thankfully the next book is releasing soon but equally, I need it now!
Overall, Hide Little Traitor is an engaging sequel for a story appealing to mafia romance lovers!

4,5 stars!!
This series has me hooked!!
After the cliffhanger of the first book I could not wait to start this one and now I neeeed book 3 like yesterday. These cliffhangers are killing me, but in the best way.
The flashbacks, the different POV’s had me invested and wanting to figure out what exactly happened 10 years ago while also rooting for all of these men who hate each others guts to put aside their differences and be together with Chloe, even Damon.
This story had me once again at the edge of my seat, trying to figure out what is going on.
The heat was on this book and I love the different sides of the guys Chloe brought out in all of them.

This series is so good, if you like Dark Mafia, why choose, lots of trauma, and spicyness, this book is for you! The story jumps right in after book 1, which I love and I can't wait for the next one!

OMG way to start and end the middle book of a great trilogy.
We pick up exactly where we ended in Run Little Liar (it is a must read so you are not confused on the second book).
Chloe is trying to figure out where she is and her guys are trying to find her. They are all running from the same people, but there is more to it than meets the eye.
Let me tell you there are many twists and turns in Hide Little Traitor, but you will be obsessed.
I cannot wait until Stay Little Fighter released because that cliffhanger was everything!

This book was amazing. I picked it up at 10pm and could not put it down, I read it all in one sitting. It was just as good as the first book and had a cliff hanger just as bad!! Leaving me aching for book 3!!
I loved the new dynamics that Chloe has found herself in and the new steamy scenes - it has truly become a Why Choose at this point and I AM HERE FOR IT!
The new flashbacks and history has really added to the storyline and the character growth has been perfect. I appreciate having each characters different POV’s so we can get see how their opinions start to shift and change and we can see that their end goal is truly just to make Chloe happy.

Okay, Montana really said, “You thought the first book was chaotic? Hold my drink.” 😂 Because this sequel took everything from the first book and cranked it up completely.
I was hooked almost immediately. I ended up flying through this one and ignoring everything else on my TBR because I needed to know what was going to happen next. The story picks up right where the previous book left off, and from there it feels like we're constantly being thrown into another mess, another dangerous situation, or another emotional bombshell.
But honestly, it wasn't even the violence or the running around that kept me reading. It was Chloe and the relationships she has with these four completely different men.
Kingston had me wanting to shake him half the time. He's arrogant, stubborn, possessive, and just generally a pain in the ass, but then you see how deeply he cares about Chloe and suddenly you're looking at him a little differently. His feelings for her are intense, and as frustrating as he can be, there's no denying how fiercely protective he is.
Ryker is basically the complete opposite. He's cold, calculated, and absolutely terrifying when it comes to everyone else, but around Chloe? Completely different man. Seeing that softer side of him was honestly adorable. I completely understand why Chloe feels safe with him because when Ryker is around, it feels like nothing is getting anywhere near her.
Then there's Ronan, who has all that childhood-love history with Chloe and clearly hasn't stopped loving her. He's sweet and devoted, but there's still something about him that makes me wonder if there's more going on beneath the surface.
And Damon... LORD. Damon scares me. 😂 His obsession with Chloe, his ambition, and the way his devotion can turn so destructive make him incredibly difficult to figure out. There were definitely moments where I wanted to yell at Chloe to stop defending this man, but at the same time, you can see just how deeply he feels for her in his own messed-up way.
I really enjoyed seeing Chloe become more confident throughout this book too. She's not simply reacting to everything happening around her anymore. She's starting to understand what she wants and where she stands with these men, and watching those relationships develop was probably my favorite part.
The jealousy, tension, protectiveness, arguments, banter, and chemistry between Chloe, Ryker, Ronan, Damon, and Kingston made this such a fun dark why-choose read. Every relationship has its own flavor, and somehow the whole chaotic combination works.
I'm also still desperate for answers about Damon and his father. There are so many questions surrounding him and Rowan's dad, and I really hope the next book finally gives us more of that story because I feel like there is SO much waiting to come out there.
And then we get to THAT ending.
Absolutely not.
I was so invested that I didn't even realize how close I was to the end, and then the cliffhanger hit me like a truck. I genuinely wasn't prepared for it. I actually sat there staring at my Kindle thinking, “You cannot possibly end it THERE.” 😂
Montana definitely knows how to leave readers suffering.
The first book had me curious, but this one completely pulled me in. The emotional side of the story, the increasingly complicated relationships, Chloe's growth, and four men who are all dangerous in completely different ways made this sequel impossible to put down.
Now I just need the next book because I have questions, I'm worried about everyone, and after that ending I refuse to believe I'm supposed to patiently wait. ❤️🔥

Hide Little Traitor picks up right where the first book left us and from the second Chloe wakes up….the danger, secrets, possessiveness, and MAYHEM are already in full force.
🖤 RYKER.
Listen. I already liked Ryker.
But this book gave me MORE RYKER👀 This man is lethal, sarcastic, unhinged when it comes to Chloe and turns into the softest damn thing when she's involved. He's the kind of man who notices EVERYTHING about her. Her little habits. What makes her comfortable. What she needs.
🖤 RONAN
The childhood connection between Ronan and Chloe makes their relationship hit differently. This man has been carrying those feelings for YEARS and watching him finally have her back in his life?🥹❤️🔥 And then pairing him with Ryker…THE BANTER.
These two have gone from “I would happily bury you” to “Fine, I guess we're both keeping her.” 😂
🖤 KINGSTON
Kingston…I have never been so annoyed by a man while understanding exactly why everyone is obsessed with him. 😂
His possessiveness is on ANOTHER LEVEL. He wants Chloe, he wants her all to himself, and he has absolutely no problem deciding what he thinks is best for her. Watching him slowly realize that keeping Chloe means accepting that she has other men she loves? Under all that control is a man who is absolutely terrified of losing her.
🖤 DAMON…Oh, Damon.
He's complicated. He's conflicted. He's fighting between what he believes he owes his family and what he actually wants. And the more we learn about him, the more questions I have.
So. Many. Questions.
But I will say…That shift in him? I SAW IT. 👀
This isn't just four men fighting over a woman.
It's Chloe figuring out who she is, what she wants, and what kind of life she actually wants to build.
The action and suspense also kept me flying through this book. There are flashbacks that slowly fill in pieces of the puzzle, secrets coming to light, enemies circling, and enough twists to make me question whether I should trust ANYONE. 😂
And then…
THAT ENDING.
Montana.
WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL.😭😭😭
I knew there was going to be a cliffhanger.
I was mentally prepared.
I was NOT prepared.
There's a difference.😂
I'm sitting here needing Stay Little Fighter like it's an emergency.
Because I need answers.
I need Damon to get his act together.
I need Kingston to learn how sharing works. 😂
I need Ryker to continue being Ryker.
I need Ronan to fight for what he wants.
And most importantly…
I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.
If you're starting this trilogy, just know you're committing to the chaos.
And DO NOT START THIS SERIES EXPECTING PEACE.😂

Yikes - there’s a lot going on for poor Chloe in this book 🫣
After waking up with Kingston Chloe has a lot to say and I love that she feels comfortable enough to tell him what’s what as he has some high handed ideas 😖I mean he is utterly obsessed with her and very much a MINE person 😍 but still his decision making process needs work 😅
Ryker is a bit of a sociopath and has no thought for anyone apart from the love and need he clearly has for our girl - although it is really amusing to hear his quips about the others and begrudgingly consider them 🙈 him and Ronan’s little bromance did make me laugh, and it’s clear Roman is willing to do anything to get her back and ensures she stays with him 😃 Damon, however, has buried what little feelings he may have wayyyyy wayyyy down deep and cannot decide what he should do - leading to some serious tension and confusion 😖 Chloe has her work cut out for her trying to wrangle these enemies together to protect each other and work together to keep each other alive! There’s plenty of drama to keep you engaged in their relationship and in between some super spicy scenes 🌶️🥵 the continued action makes this fast paced and I couldn’t put it down as it’s not clear who may actually be out to get Chloe and her men 😳 can’t wait for the final book!

Warning, this is the second book in a series and this review contains for the first book (but you can definitely check out my review of that one too!) After that crazy cliffhanger in the first book, this one picks up right where it left out by introducing our fourth mmc, Kingston, the hot godfather who would do anything for her (but in all seriousness all 4 of these men would burn the world for her if she asked). There is so much tension as these four men who hate each other are forced to work together for Chloe’s sake. Ryker is my favourite he’s a serial killer who loves trying different torture methods but acts like such a golden retriever around Chloe. I think out of all of them he’s had Chloe’s best interests at heart from the start and does not mind sharing if it means his girl is happy. This book was so interesting for me because all four guys in this harem hate each other but by the end, they’ve developed this family dynamic that was so sweet. They also all have a different nickname for Chloe it’s so cute. The plot progresses a little slow in the middle, like once they find each other it delves more into the romance aspect and their harem, but was still interesting. I also loved how Chloe really found more of her confidence in this book and I can’t wait to see her character progress even more. Through all the chaos I was rooting for Damon through it all because although he’s emotionally constipated and acts like he hates everyone he has a huge heart and I just felt so bad for him. So that killer of a cliffhanger ending destroyed me, like it was so damn evil, I already want to read the next book you don’t need to grab me by the throat like this!!! This book was one heck of a ride and I have no doubt the next one will be worse. I give this a 4/5

Action packed and so steamy!!
Now this is a book I've been waiting for!!! I feel like book 1 was introduction to the story and characters but with this one we meet the infamous Kingston and boy, did I fall instantly in love with him!! He's demanding it he always has a heart, maybe that's just for Chloe. When he says,"Mama" to her, I swoon every time.
This book deep dives into hiding Chloe and the links the men she loves will go to protect . It also has so many sweet and very steamy times!! The why choose is finally happening with Ronan, Ryker and Kingston but poor Damon is still fighting his feelings despite taking a bullet for her. He's the one who's gonna burn the world for her. I honestly can't wait for the next book to happen, just to see it all play out!! I love how much Ronan knows about Chloe especially since they haven't been together in a while. When she has a flair, he's the first to react and is so sweet about it. His bromance with Ryker is so fun and really shows during her flairs! These two went from at each other throats to sharing Chloe together! These guys all seem to work together very well!
In this book, it's all about hiding Chloe. Ronan and Damon's dad still believes she's a traitor and needs taken out. His plans change a little when his boys go on the run with her. This is seriously an action packed from beginning to end!! It's very hard to put this book down!!

✨Arc Review✨
Woow this one was definitely better than the first one, I read it in 24 hours and I can’t wait to read the next one to know how this story will end.
Chloe was way better in this one but she still pissed me off either all the crying, she got tears in her eyes every single chapter, it was annoying but aside from that she got better. I love the dynamic between her, Ryker and Ronan. It was obvious how much they all love her, including Damon and it was good to see them trying to navigate something that wasn’t their normal just to make her happy.
My favorite still remains Ryker because what do you mean he’s one of the most ruthless serial killers but to Chloe he’s just a big teddy bear? Loved it, 10/10.
I also really liked Ronan, he was her first and between them all I think is the most sentimental and softer and that’s good because he complements her well.
Kingston is the grumpy of them but no less softy just for her. I loved how he rearranged his entire life just to fit her in it.
Last but not least Damon. I confess that he still didn’t win me over because he’s an asshole but I liked how he couldn’t hide his feelings for her no matter how much he wanted to. And that final chapter? I’m speechless, I need more.

After that cliffhanger in book one, I couldn’t get into this one fast enough and WOW, it delivered! The flashbacks and multiple POVs had me fully invested, trying to piece together what happened 10 years ago while simultaneously screaming at these men to get over themselves and just be with Chloe already… yes, Damon, I’m talking to you. 👀
The suspense, drama, and constant twists had me questioning EVERYTHING, and then Kingston shows up and suddenly the spice level goes from 🔥 to 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Sir, what are you doing?! 😂🥵
I love the different sides Chloe brings out in each of these men, and the tension just keeps getting better. I’m officially obsessed and now I NEED book 3 like… immediately. PLEASE. 😭

WHAT WAS THAT ENDING !! Caution - this book might make you giddy - paranoid that someone might see what you are reading - make you have to take a break from a very yummy HOT scene and need a cold shower ! And and the ending will make you ridiculously upset if you don’t already have book 3 - I LOVED IT. It was dripping in spice while also hooking you in the characters - their personalities- the background stories and connections. One of my absolute favorite things about this series so far has absolutely been the way Montana connects the past and the present and how it HAS ALWAYS COME BACK TO BITE. I even went as far as sending a message to my ARC plug to see if I will be receiving book 3 idc I have no shame it was just that damn good. 5 fucking stars and 5 chilies

ARC REVIEW |
Thanks to the author & The Smuthood for the ARC✨
This is Book 2 of 3 in the Lombardi Legacy series and we picked up exactly where we left off in Book 1😮💨
We’re starting to see the why-choose situation come together slowly but surely… remember all these men can’t stand each other
We’re also starting to see just how far they are willing to go for Chloe
The spice was very 🥵 something about Kingston calling her Mama just does it for me 🫦
The action was juicy
Still some unanswered questions and WHAT WAS THAT CLIFFHANGER
I can’t wait for the conclusion in book 3, I just know it’s gonna be so good because my girl Chloe deserves some peace for once and I can’t wait to see how this dynamic develops 🤭

More of all of this please. This why choose really means it. I know my favorite man (Ryker for me please!) but the others truly make it difficult. They are all exceptional in their own way and truly fulfill something Chloe needs that is unique and individual to that man. She absolutely needs each one of them so they need to get on board. The plot is this series is also not lacking one bit and I love the excitement and twists and turns that come with it! This is not a standalone and should be read in order. I highly recommend you do that asap! This series is phenomenal and I absolutely love it! I can’t wait for book 3!!

GODS AND GODDESSES ABOVE ; THIS IS SUCH AN ADDICITON.
I still despise Damon and am pissed at King after what he pulls in this book BUT I can't truly tell you anything else than : READ THIS SERIES NOW !
The secrets , the constant plot twists , the deep and complex relationships between the characters who all went through dark pasts... It's truly perfection !
This cliffhanger got me stuck watching ly ceiling for such a long time 😅🤣

Ahhhhhh!!! What the actual...??? First off, I was so mad at Kingston for the first full quarter of the book. I was only just getting to like him. And Damon, I know he has a heart under there. I love Ronan and Rykers budding bromance. I'm glad they're the two that take the lead in the 4some. I just want to wrap Chloe in bubble wrap though! The poor baby can't catch a friggin break!

This is the second book of the trilogy. It’s a really good reverse harem mafia romance. The MFC is Chloe. Kingston is obsessed with her and wants her as his wife. Her main hesitation is that she has feelings for three other guys. Their names are Damon, Ryker and Ronan. Just a minor complication right? There is a lot of yummy spicy scenes. And I loved all the suspense elements. The storyline is creative and interesting. And the cliffhanger really left me hanging.

This book hit the ground running and kept going. This was absolute fire. Pure chaos and spice. The guys were amazing. I loved how different each of them were. I couldn’t help but giggle with the guys and their inability to get along. But this story pulled me in from the beginning and I was obsessed. This was such a hot mafia, why choose, romance. It was off the chart.

Devoured it 🔥

Book 2 starts right where book 1 ended and the guys are trying to find Olivia and she’s in the place where she least expected to be especially after this said person walked away from her.
I’m a sucker for a why choose and this book checked all the boxes, we have men who will stop at nothing to protect their woman even at the cost of making alliances with each other.
Thank you to the smuthood for the arc!

Review of advance copy received from Author
The way I absolutely screamed at that ending!!! I it's desperately need that last book immediately. Daddy Kingston did not disappoint, actually, he exceeded any expectations I had for him. Ryker and Ronan are such unlikely allies and their banter makes me giggle. My love hate relationship with Damon has carried over from the first book. Chloe is still that woman! But my heart literally cannot handle any more pain or sadness for her. I enjoyed getting more of king and chloe's backstory, and I think I may love this book slightly more than I love the first.

Advanced Reader Copy received in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, there is SO much to unpack with this one!!! This picked up straight from the cliffhanger in book one, and it was an absolute roller coaster.
This is a dark why choose mafia romance, with quite a few flashbacks from all of the MCs, some going as far back as 14 years, which really starts filling in the gaps and showing us how everything got to this point.
But first...
RYKER. FINALLY. MORE. RYKER. 🫠
This book gave me exactly what I was begging for after book one. I absolutely LOVE this man. He has that tough, lethal exterior but is ridiculously soft when it comes to Chloe. He would do absolutely anything for her, learning everything about her right down to the smallest details just to make sure she's happy.
Human lethal weapon + soft only for her? 10/10. No notes. I am SOLD.
And the banter between Ryker and Ronan?! 😂 These two were such a great addition to an otherwise heavy story. Watching them go from genuinely wanting to kill each other to slowly accepting that the other isn't going anywhere was so much fun.
And those two with Chloe?! FIRE. 🔥 I could not stop reading.
THE COUCH SCENE?! OOF. Absolute puddle. And Kingston watching the whole damn time?! Excuse me?! 🫠
Now... Kingston.
I have very mixed feelings about this man because SIR??? You waited TEN YEARS just to come back, force her to marry you and then deny her pleasure?! HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! 😂 His possessiveness over Chloe had him being a complete ass at times, and seriously... how many times does this woman need to say no?
BUT I will give him credit for eventually acknowledging that he was wrong and that he'd gone about everything completely the wrong way. That moment was actually quite beautiful. I'm still not 100% sold on him... but Chloe is, so I guess I'll behave. For now. 😂
Then there's Damon. 😭
Everything this man has endured, everything he's been forced to do, including pushing Chloe away when he clearly loves her and always has... I feel for him. He's trying to make the right choices and failing spectacularly at times, but the decisions he's being forced to make aren't easy.
And when Chloe jumped out that window and Damon grabbed her by the throat?! My heart stopped. Everything that followed had me in an absolute chokehold. I could not put the book down.
And then THAT ENDING?!
BE WARNED: WE HAVE ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER. 😭
A frustratingly GOOD cliffhanger, too. The emotions that final chapter left me with... I genuinely don't even know how to process them.
I NEED THE NEXT BOOK NOW.
My only small criticism would be that I would've preferred a few less flashbacks. I completely understand why they're important to the story and how much history needed to be unpacked, but at times there were a little too many for me.
Other than that, this was such a good continuation of the series. More Ryker, chaotic banter, possessive mafia men, emotional damage and a cliffhanger designed specifically to make me suffer. 😂
⭐️ Story: 4/5

I would rate this book 4.5 stars and 3.5 spice.
Hide Little Traitor is a why choose mafia romance and the second book in the Lombardi Legacy trilogy. When the book begins you start up right after the major cliffhanger at the end of Run Little Liar. The first book in this trilogy had me very interest to learn more about Chloe and her men.
Ryker and Ronan are obsessed with Chloe and it is very evident within this book. Even with all of the animosity between Ryker and Ronan, they both can agree that they want Chloe no matter if that means they have to share her or not. In this book you a lot more insight into Damien and Kingston and their relationships with Chloe.Kingston wants Chloe all to himself and doesn’t mind how he has to make that happen, though throughout the book you see him grow in the idea of potentially sharing her. He doesn’t want to lose her, which makes him consider that he will do what ever he needs to do to keep her in his life. Damien is very slow to admit his feelings for Chloe; to the point it makes me want to yell at him to put aside all of his “duties” to his father and the mafia and admit his feelings. Throughout this book though you do get to see Damien start to question his father and his feelings Chloe. He questions if anything he ever thought was true and if it is worth losing the one person who he cares about.
Throughout this book you can see Chloe become stronger and more sure of herself. You see her stand up for herself though you also see her depend on the men more. She lets Ronan take care of her when she doesn’t feel well. Ryker is her safety and makes her feel calm. Kingston becomes the person that she relies on and even though she wants to be independent she likes having her life decided for her every one and a while. Damien is her challenge, he pushes her on everything though he always chooses to protect her when it comes down to it. These men know how to take care of Chloe, but reading about how they figure out how it do it together is very entertaining. A certain car ride will also definitely live rent free in my brain for a while.
I am looking forward to the Stay Little Fighter after the cliffhanger that this book left off on. I can’t wait to see how Damien and Chloe resolve their issues, and if Kingston can overcome his need to be the only one in Chloe’s life. I love Ryker and all of his off the wall comments, and how his pushes everyone’s buttons, which I know is just going to continue even more. Ronan is the soul of young Chloe and I can’t wait to see him fight for her and watch him work more with Damien against his father’s mafia.
I would definitely recommend starting this dark, mafia, why choose trilogy. Definitely be aware that there are cliffhangers and you need to be emotionally prepared for that. Please read the trigger warnings before reading this trilogy. I can’t wait to see how Chloe and her men get through this next portion of the book.
*I received this book as an E-ARC from The Smuthood to provide an honest review.*

That CLIFFHANGER IS CRUEL😭
That aside, like i stated in my Run Little Liar review, I'm here for the long haul, and God that was the best decision i made.
Aaaaaahhh, this book had me kicking my feet, swooning, and smiling like a fool because finally, things are starting to make sense, the mess is starting to clear. By the end of it, most of my curiosity was satisfied, and what i loved most was watching how things slowly start to fall into place.
And Chloe's lethal, brutal men gradually accepting and making peace with their fate? It was adorable and so fulfilling. CP 31 in this book has officially become my favourite and the highlight of the series so far!
The plot is EVERYTHING! And I'm even more invested than before.
Don't even get me started on the romance because Chloe has four lethal men turning into puddles because of her.. The spice is getting hoootttt, and I'm sure it's only going to get hotter.
With that being said, I can’t wait for the next book because this SUSPÈNSE is killing me!😭

Hide Little Traitor picks up the moment the first book in the Lombardi Legacy left off, and Montana Fyre does not ease us back in.
Chloe is once again pulled from the life she tried to build for herself, this time by Kingston, the man who once held her through the darkest moments of her past and has spent a decade watching over her from the shadows. He offers her the safety and the future she once thought she wanted, yet her thoughts keep drifting to the three other men she was forced to leave behind. That push/pull sits at the heart of the story and gives the book its restless energy.
What works especially well is the way the four men refuse to settle into easy harmony. Damon remains the brooding presence who cannot decide whether loyalty to the family or loyalty to Chloe will win. Ryker seems determined to needle everyone around him just for the entertainment value. Ronan brings his own brand of intensity, and Kingston, the oldest and most possessive of the group, struggles openly with the idea of sharing the woman he has claimed for so long. Their mutual dislike is not softened or resolved too quickly, it simmers, flares, and occasionally turns into reluctant cooperation when danger closes in.
The tension between them was electric and I loved the why choose setup. And I cheered as Chloe’s growing confidence allows her to demand what she needs from all of them without shrinking.
The spice is frequent and unapologetic, matching the dark, possessive tone of the series. Scenes between Chloe and the men crackle with jealousy and raw chemistry, and the group dynamics never feel like simple add ons.
Outside the bedroom the plot keeps moving at a steady clip. Old enemies circle, secrets about Chloe’s past surface, and the sense of being hunted never fully lifts.
External threats with quieter moments of character work, particularly around Chloe’s physical health and the long term effects of the life she has been forced to live. (The endometriosis representation is handled with care and becomes part of who she is rather than a plot device.)
By the final pages the story has deepened every relationship while leaving enough unresolved that the next installment feels necessary rather than optional.
The cliffhanger lands hard, exactly as the first book’s ending did. I so wanted to read what happens next.
The writing is sharp and immersive, the dialogue sharp enough to cut, and the found family friction among the men is one of the book’s strongest assets.
Hide Little Traitor delivers on the promise of its predecessor and leaves the Lombardi world wider and more dangerous than before.

Review of advance copy
Hide Little Traitor by Montana Frye is book two in the Lombardi Legacy series. Book one left me in an absolute, jaw-dropping cliffhanger and I couldn't wait for this one! Give me my most favorite dark, why choose. Add in every intense emotion possible, four men who are absolutely FERAL for this woman and so many unanswered questions and I am hooked!
This book picks up right where we left off, and OMG… we finally know who Kingston is! Damon. Ryker. Ronan. Kingston. I am seriously in love with ALL of them. Each of these men is so completely different, and they each bring something special to Chloe’s life that fits her so perfectly. I absolutely love the way they all balance each other out, even when they can barely stand each other half the time. And their banter?! I DIED. These four are freaking hysterical together! The way they joke, argue, push each other’s buttons, and somehow still manage to come together for Chloe is EVERYTHING. Ryker and Ronan… these two have my whole heart. They are such strong men, but they have the absolute softest hearts when it comes to Chloe. I just LOVE the way they care for her and how protective they are of her. And Kingston… this man struggles SO much with sharing her. You can feel how badly he wants her to himself, but deep down, he knows she was never going to be just his. And then there’s our poor Damon. This dark, broody soul has SO much going on. He loves this woman more than he wants to admit, but now he has to make a choice. Does he choose the mafia life he’s always believed was meant for him, or does he finally choose Chloe? And Chloe!! She grows SO much in this book. She’s becoming more confident, she speaks her mind, she knows what she wants, and she is absolutely not afraid to go after it. I loved watching her come into her own and really start to own who she is.
The jealousy, possessiveness, protectiveness, tension, and chemistry between all of them is absolutely CHEF’S KISS! And the scenes with them?! The dirty mouths, the tension, the chemistry… every single part of it is pure 🔥🔥. These men are HOT!
And the freaking cliffhanger!! 😭 I swear, once again, we are left sitting here like, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING TO HAPPEN?! Montana really knows how to leave us hanging and make us desperate for the next book! I cannot wait to see these five get the HEA they so desperately deserve. Read this book and series!
