Catherine is the creator of several series, most of them paranormal, including the Whitedell Pride Series and the Gillham Pack Series. While she graduated in translation, she decided to go the writer’s way because it was more fun to create her own stories and characters.
She’s been living in Italy for more than twenty years, but she’s a daughter of the North—Belgium to be precise—and she misses it so much that she’s already planning to move back.
She loves pizza—probably too much —her pets, and of course, books. She sneaks some reading time in her schedule every time she has five minutes free from writing, demands from her various pets and son, and lastly, housework.

This was okay. Not the best in the series, but still very enjoyable.

This was the book that made me want to read this series. I read Xavier and realized that I wanted to read this book and it was best to start at book 1. This book 9 in the "Whitedell Pride" Andrew who we met in book 5 of this series is a lawyer and he has a stalker he is also a friend of Dominic's. When the guy breaks into his house he calls him and he comes and brings Soren along to guard him turns out Andrew is his mate but he has a boyfriend Xavier. Soren never expected to find his mate he is lonely living with all the mated couples walking in on them being intimate and being on patrol late nights. They find out that the stalker is a bear shifter who thinks Andrew is his mate when he attacks Xavier Dominic helps him get a job with Kameron the Alpha of the Gillham Pack. Andrew likes to be in control in the bedroom and he is worried that Soren won't like it until they start messing around turns out Soren likes to give up control the sex scenes in this book were hot Andrew likes tying his mate up. When the bear shifter kidnaps him Andrew knows that he has to safe himself or be sexually assaulted so he hits him over the head with a cast iron frying pan. It also turns out that Andrew has shifter blood when he grows teeth and claim Soren. This was a pretty good read. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

First I should say that I actually read Xavier's story before this one and I adored Xavier, which started me off rather not liking Andrew. Though it is written as not really a big deal, Andrew treated Xavier pretty shitty and I don't think my opinion would have been any better if I had read this book first.

Second, even leaving out Xavier's being hurt, there just wasn't anything AT ALL interesting about Andrew. I liked Soren and I wish he had gotten a better mate, because except for being an ass towards Xavier, Andrew has absolutely no presence and no personality. He's just sort of flat and boring.

Basically I had no interest in Andrew, there was nothing to him and he hurt Xavier.

A total disappointment. Andrew was obnoxious and you totally can't relate to his character. Soren was the cutest and he could have been paired with a nicer person. I don't know what Andrew's problem was. He was a total brat all over the story. The series is awesome but this book does not reach the mark other books in the series has achieved.

I am not sure what purpose #9 Andrew serves in the Whitedell Series other than, perhaps to introduce Xavier for the start of the Gilmore series? It is a nice read -not quite a full meal but a nice snack.

Andrew was selfish and I didn't really like him for Soren at all.

Despite the fact that Andrew is human, he’s no stranger to shifters. After all, Alpha Dominic is practically family. But Andrew never imagined that he’d find a mate amongst the Whitedell Pride shifters. Let alone that it would be a white tiger. And if that isn’t enough to deal with he seems to have picked up a stalker who happens to be a bear. So with a mate and a stalker now on the cards, what is Andrew suppose to do with his boyfriend?

Soren has had to watch as all of his friends have found their mates. Sure he’s happy for them but he’s kind of tired of being stuck with all the crappy “single man” jobs. The last thing he wants to do is babysit Dominic’s human friend but when his Alpha orders, Soren obeys. He didn’t expect to arrive at Andrew’s house to discover that the human is his mate. To claim his own happily ever after he just has to get rid of the boyfriend, get rid of the stalker and keep Andrew safe. I appreciated that Soren wasn’t the typical tough guy alpha type I was expecting. For sure he can be a tough guy, but he also likes to be dominated in the bedroom every now and again.

Now I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure what we have here is the first Whitedell Pride pairing where one of the two mates doesn’t make it difficult for the other. Andrew and Soren are more than happy to be mates and they’re not going to let something as unimportant as a violent, mentally unstable bear keep them apart. What I love about this series is the presence of all our old favourite characters. The pride really is one giant, ever expanding family which is always most evident when one of their own is threatened.

Soren is the last from the original group of shifters who was still waiting for his story…oh, but no, wait. Soren was the last shifter from the first books who needed a story but if I’m not mistaken, there’s someone else who has been patiently waiting. Who we have been not-so-patiently waiting for. KEENAN! The next book is Keenan, folks. We’ve made it!

But not only do we have that tenth Whitedell Pride book to look forward to, we also have the first book in the Gillham Pack series releasing mid June. Readers of the Whitedell series will recognize the Gillham werewolf pack and I’m really excited that they’re getting their own series. When I read Andrew, I totally fell in love with Xavier (Andrew’s cute boyfriend) and I’m so happy to see that he’s going to get his own story with the Gillham pack.

The Whitedell Pride series is best read in order.

Whitedell Pride 9

Sometimes something good can come out of the worst situation.

Someone is stalking Andrew. When he finds out the man has entered his home, he asks his friend Dominic for help, hoping that having the Alpha on his side will discourage the stalker.

Soren isn’t particularly happy when Dominic assigns him as Andrew’s bodyguard—that is until he finds out the man is his mate. Andrew has a boyfriend, though, and a stalker.

The two start a relationship, but the stalker is always there, hovering in the dark and convinced Andrew is his mate. What will happen when he finally gets to Andrew? Will Soren be able to get to him in time? Or will Andrew have to save himself?

Summary:

Andrew was a fascinating character who on the surface appeared repressed and unfeeling while in reality he was the exact opposite. Andrew grew up knowing Dominic as almost an uncle who is more like a brother. It was funny how he was in and out of the pride home, but seemed to never meet Soren as member of the pride until his life was endanger. Soren was sent on what he considered a babysitting job until he saw Andrew and his life changed forever. Soren may be strong and fierce fighter, but looks can be deceiving leaving him with a dream that he always thought was impossible. There was more to Andrew than even he imagined. The surprises never let up between Andrew's stalker to the secrets that Soren and Andrew held keeping the reader enthralled until the very end.

Andrew knows someone is stalking him and that they have been in his home. He turns to Dominic for help and Dominic sends Soren, much to Soren’s dismay. However, when he arrives, he discovers that Andrew is his mate. The only problem - he has a stalker and a boyfriend.

You can’t help but fall in love with Soren as he realizes his mate is in front of him. He has to work hard to over come many obstacles but he does not give up. Andrew is not sure what to think. He is nervous about the stalker who is becoming increasingly alarming. He has no choice but to turn to Soren and is he glad he did.

I love these stories. Catherine Lievens keeps them fresh and different guaranteeing we never lose interest. Each one is just as exciting as the one before. If you are following the Whitedell Pride series, Andrew is not to be missed!

Andrew is a new character, as far as I can remember. He might have shown up briefly in earlier installments, but if he did, I don't remember him. He starts the book with a boyfriend, of whom we will see more in a spinoff series but is fated mates with Soren, the only unmated male shifter in the Pride. They have an exciting little stalker story to deal with, and I am interested in finding out more about said stalker. I have a feeling he will also reappear in the spinoff, series. However, we get a satisfying enough HEA for poor single, always second best Soren.

I continue to thoroughly enjoy this series! It has a great ensemble of characters that are a real family, and I love all of their camaraderie together. I enjoyed Andrew and loved that Soren got his mate! I also liked that this started the spin-off series, and I'm really looking forward to that! So happy that we'll now get 2 books a month from this author!

I really liked Soren. His mate, not even a little bit. I did not find this match great at all which made this a tough read. Soren got the shit end of the stick in the mate department.

Back down to 2 stars. The main storyline doesn't feature in this book really and I don't like this pairing.
