I enjoyed the emotions that the characters went through, in the beginning of the book and how their intensity grew through to the end of the book. It really kept my interest, even though I had most of the mystery figured out. I probably would have given it 5*s, but I have a pet peeve about authors using the same phrases repeatedly and misspelled words bug me.
Not a bad read, just drawn out a bit much. I thought the story was wrapping up, but I was barely at 55%. A lot of running and reading in circles. I had to backtrack several times to remind myself who the peripheral characters were in the Boone family. Personally not a fan of a "stand alone" that doesn't stand alone, especially if it is almost flippant to readers who didn't start with book #1 by pure coincidence. Over all, the MMC was written well, and the choices he made were in character.
Oh dear Lynn. Your books enthrall me. The first thing I love about it that it's Christian, the action part, the heros, Abel's 4 sons and the bad guys always dealt with. I absolutely love your books. Anytime I come across Christian romance, I'm thankful as things out there seems to be anti-God, NOT your books. God bless you. Thankful for God's inspiration.
I believe that is one of her best but all are very good. I cried in the fist chapter before even knowing the characters. A page turner filled with danger, mystery and characters hard to forget. She is an excellent writer!
I loved this story! The Boone Brothers series is one of the best I've read. The stories are good, the characters become almost real and the suspense is just right. Good, clean Christian based.
I absolutely loved this book. Another great story of the Boone brothers. This one had a lot of excitement. And of course a little bit of love. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a clean Christian story.
