The goal doesn't count until it crosses the line.

Captain of the Dartmouth Cobras hockey team, Dominik Mason, believes his team can make a damn good playoff run. He and his men won't stop fighting until they win the ultimate prize. There's no doubt when it comes to The Game.

Off the ice, there's nothing but uncertainty. His life has been in a holding pattern and it's time to move on. Which might be easier without the lifestyle that has lost its appeal. As much as he loved training subs, he's tired of giving his all only to go home alone.

Tragedy once brought him closer to Sahara Dionne, the exquisite, yet fragile Ice Girl, but when her abusive-ex darkens her path once again, Dominik can't help but wonder if his friendship might not be the best thing for her.

But she craves his touch, his dominance, and his possession. Everything he desires is finally within his reach.

All he has to do is take the shot.

Author's Note: The Cobras series has a continuing arc about the franchise, players, and previous relationships. Some plots continue through the series and may involve more than the main ménage. The series is best read in order.

Tell you about me? Hmm, well there's not much to say. I love hockey and cars and my kids…not in that order of course! Lol! When I'm not writing—which isn't often—I'm usually watching a game or a car show while working on promo. Going out with my kids is my only down time. I get to clear my head and forget everything.

As for when and why I first started writing, I guess I thought I'd get extra cookies if I was quiet for awhile—that's how young I was. I used to bring my grandmother barely legible pages filled with tales of evil unicorns. She told me then that I would be a famous author.

I hope one day to prove her right.

Leigh's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

I felt as if I waited an eternity to see all of my guys again, and I devoured this book as quickly as I could. Like all of the Cobra’s stories before it, Goal Line pulled me into the world of kinky hockey players, power exchanges and a whole lot of sweaty, crazy sex.

Bianca Sommerland’s Dartmouth Cobra’s series has become real to me. I know these people, I care for them, and I enjoy seeing their lives playing out around me. They are all so distinct, yet I love each one of them and their over the top relationships. And Ms. Sommerland’s writing style is so readable. I can breeze through her stories and barely realize that I’ve just read a book. Instead I feel as if I had a front row seat to a movie of these player’s lives playing out around me.

But, for as much as I enjoyed this book and look forward to the kink and the whole lifestyle, I did have a little irritation at times with the power exchanges and how they bled over into the character’s professional lives. While in the context of a work setting, some of the women were chastised by Dom’s from their club for being impertinent or not respectful, when I viewed it as women that were simply doing their jobs. I didn’t like that that power exchange intruded into every aspect of their lives, but I suppose to each his (or her) own.

What struck me as different in this book from the past Cobra’s stories though was that Goal Line didn’t have a full story on its own. All of the other books, while certainly being a part of a larger story arc, focused predominantly on one couple (or ménage) and brought them to a logical point in their relationship by the book’s end. Goal Line, while mainly focusing on Dominik and Sahara, also wove in other couples. And while I certainly wanted to know what was going on in their relationships because they are like friends I’m getting to see again after a long time apart, I found it odd that substantive parts of their story were continuing to be told. In a big way! And other couples that I want to know about…well, things with them seem to be taking place “offscreen” and I want to be a part of them! I found it a bit difficult to focus on Dominik and Sahara and really feel the way I felt for all of the past couples because so many of the other relationships kept evolving around me.

In addition, I didn’t feel that Dominik and Sahara’s story came to any type of conclusion by the end of the book. It just sort of ended, waiting for the next Cobra’s installment. I would have preferred to read a book entirely devoted to Dominik and Sahara so that I could feel a bond for them the way I did with Ms. Sommerland’s past books.

Overall, Goal Line was great. It was a fantastic continuation of the Cobra’s story and a peek into their world of dominance, kink and drama.

It is a fantastic continuation of the Cobra’s story and a peek into their world of dominance, kink and drama.
This story is Dominik and Sahara's. I love how all the previous books' characters appear in each book. I love the camaraderie of the players and how accepting they all are of one another.
Each book is getting better and better and gives us a new story without forgetting the rest of the team and there families.

BDSM Romance, sports romance, this book just about has everything, great characters and storyline.
Better to start at book one as a back story continues through each story.

It's pretty rare to find a series where book after book never disappoints, never fails to capture my attention and bring me to tears. The Dartmouth Cobras is not only one of these exceptional occurrences, it's also a series that transports me to another place, a place of no worries, no regrets - a place full of passion, intensity, and longing. The outside world does not exist when I immerse myself into these stories.

I find myself falling head over heels for these amazing characters that Sommerland brings to life on such an amazing level. Dominik Mason is one of those characters. Fans of the series have been waiting ever so patiently for this incredible man's happily ever after. For the past couple of years, he has been surrounded by darkness, not really knowing who he is, or what kind of man he wants to be. He pines for woman and a relationship he can no longer have. He craves someone of his own, someone he can claim - mind, body, and soul. He ends up finding his light in a friend. Sahara Dionne is the woman who brings our boy back to life. With the intense connection between these two there is no time for walls to build up around their hearts. Together they test their limits, build trust, and learn that happiness IS possible.

Thank you Ms. Sommerland for giving our boy the HEA he deserves. With these books, I never feel like I do them justice when I'm writing reviews for them. When books take you on such an amazing journey, and the amount of emotions that they bring out of you is indescribable, it's incredible hard to layout all of your feelings in to a review. With Sommerland's books, from the very beginning, they have all touched my heart, and I can guarantee they have changed me in some way or another. I'm incredibly grateful that I found Sommerland and her books. She is an amazing writer, storyteller, and human being. I feel like her characters are family to me, and that is something I will never forget.

It was finally here! Dominik Mason's book! Stoked, totally excited. He's a hockey player, Dom and bad boy all rolled into one.

Dominik and Sahara? I didn't know much about her, because to me, she was a small side character in the stories. Every time we saw her, she was either crying, drunk or being needy. But that changed in this story. We finally found out why she was insecure.

But Dominik and Sahara? Their story didn't start until a few chapters into the book. Tangents went off left and right. Side stories took over the book, which disappointed me. I wanted more of Dominik. He states he didn't want to be in the lifestyle any longer, yet, by the end of the story, they're thinking about a 24/7 lifestyle?

Goal Line wasn't as fast paced and involved as the others. Some things were too contrived. An accident with Oriana in the beginning, and almost, albeit on the ice, the same type of accident with Raif Zovko, but was also similar to Tyler Vanek's in the first book.

The book was a little flat. Personally, I'd have preferred someone stronger than Sahara to stand up to Dominik and not give in so readily. And, the story felt as if it had been pushed to be finished. It ended abruptly, though I'm hoping the next book begins where it ended.

Loved meeting Dominik's mom and brothers. It was nice to see a new character, Heath Ladd. It was great to see some interaction with other characters, however, this was supposed to have been Dominik's book. I wish it had focused more on him.

Will I buy Bianca Sommerland's next book? Absolutely. If I could pre-order it now, I would. Unlike a review I read where the reviewer said for her to cancel the series, I want her to continue it till the 20th or 30th book.

I'm sorry that I could only give it a three. Ms. Sommerland's other books I'd be giving 4 and 5 stars (Game Misconduct is still my absolute favorite).

First of all I have to say, I love the characters in this series and this is also what I loved most in this book. We see so much about all characters and Bianca Sommerland always goes back to the other couples. that is one of the most amazing things in this series!
In this book especially Shawn is one of my favourites. He is a real interesting person and I can't wait to see more of him. another favoirte is Sloan

so, as you can see, what captured my interest in this book was not the main couple. I just could not feel the sparks between Dominic and Sahara, which I am very sorry about. I loved Dominic in the other books but here he just did not make that big of an impression on me.
I always waited for the others to make an appearance.

All in all it was a good book in this series, as the story about all the characters is growing but Dominic and Sahara are definitely not one of my favourite couples. I am also not quite sure If I see their connection or relationship coing anywhere.

Nevertheless, I can't wait for the next book and really, really hope it will be Shawn

It was okay. I love this series but this book just felt off. I was disappointed in this story. Mason came across better in all the other books than he did in his own book.

Goal Line by Bianca Sommerland
A Review
5 Stars
**Color me impressed. Every once in a while we get a glimpse of a unicorn. This phenomenon occurs when something truly great has been thrust upon us. The unicorn here is that we are now 7 books into the Cobras Series and the story line is still good, it is still clear and the sex has not been diluted. How many franchises can we attribute to that? Sure, we have 3 book streaks, but 7? Nope. Not, since Harry Potter.
Goal line follows the story of Dominik and Sahara. Both damaged people, in the public eye trying to stay afloat. Being hurt as bad as they both were can make anyone gun shy, but sometimes life is about chances and risks. The risk may break you in the worse way but, you could also score a hat trick and win in the best way.
***Dominik is Dominik. Strong, Sexy (duh), and Steady. I think that is what I like the most about him. If you’ve been following along, you remember him from Game Misconduct. Furthermore if you’re a fan of the books you will also remember the painful breakup he endured in Offside. We all wanted his happiness after that and this is his chance. I love him. I love that he is real, I love that he still hurts but wants to best for everyone. I love that he is also from Chicago (pretty damned proud). I love the fact that no matter what he gives his all to the game and is open to the possibility of love again.
****Sahara is the quintessential poster child for abuse and strength. Is she always perfect? Nope. But when it counts she is. I liked Sahara because she is what abuse looks like. The need to constantly please, to be reassured that she is not messing up and doing things to perfection. This makes her relatable and likable. I like that she tries to forgive and move on, and even when things are at its bleakest, she never gives up hope. That ability in itself takes a special type of person.
*****We get updates, some sad and some AMAZING from the other teammates in this book so don’t worry, you’ll get your fix. Whenever I see the words Seb or Zach, I feel humpy and this is no different. There is a new guy Ladd whom I’m also intrigued with and can’t wait for more of his story. Even with all the players new and old the story line isn’t over saturated.
******I gave Goal Line 5 Stars because, I love the premise. We see love stories from a lot of different angles. Billionaires, colleagues, friends and enemies, but rarely do we see them deal with race. I’ve sought out lots of books with the race dynamic because I am in an interracial relationship. This book handled the tension with finesse and a little sass, including the Quote from Deuteronomy (you’ll see). This makes it that more real for me. If you’ve read her before you know she is able to handle tough/taboo subjects easily without offending or recklessness. This mastery of storytelling she has is what makes her books amazing, even at number 7. I feel like every time I read a Cobras book, I’m meeting up with old friends again. I think about them when the book is done and wonder how they are doing. When this happens you know you’ve experienced something unique. Way to go B!!!!

5 Star Review Goal Line (The Dartmouth Cobras # 7) by Bianca Sommerland

This series is one of my all-time favourites. Every book in this series I have thoroughly loved. Each one seems to get better and better and this is no exception. Goal Line is book 7 in Bianca Sommerland’s Dartmouth Cobra series. In my humble opinion this may well be Bianca’s best book to date.

Although a stand-alone novel, I highly recommend you start at the beginning and read them in order. Many of the characters appear in each book and their stories evolve throughout the series and this book is no exception.

This book is about Dominik Mason, the captain of the Dartmouth Cobra hockey team and Sahara Dionne, the alternate captain for the Cobras ‘Ice Girls. I have to be honest and admit that in the previous 6 books I never really liked or connected with Dominik. Not too sure why but it’s the truth.

However after reading Goal Line I am a total convert. I really loved how this couple found love that developed from friendship that has evolved over the last few books. This book shows how deeply he cares about the people around him. Previously he had even questioned whether he wanted to continue in the BDSM life style. With Sahara’s assistance, Dominik realised that above anything else he wants and needs someone that will be his in body, heart and soul. That someone is Sahara. She really is the Ying to his Yang.

In a side note, I was excited to see a fellow Aussie character, Heath Ladd introduced into the series, along with his younger brother and sister. I think in part, they helped me to see Dominik in a different light, as did Sahara of course.

Dominik and Sahara both deserved to find the love that they now have. Both have suffered in their pasts and I truly believe that this has only made their road to love so much stronger. As always it was great to catch up with some of my other favourites from the series and I am anxiously awaiting the next

There were instances where I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I laughed, I smiled, I was concerned, I was scared and above all I cried. All in all this booked evoked so many different emotions in me that I wasn’t sure whether I was up or down; it was like riding a rollercoaster.

Another brilliant addition to what is one of my all-time favourite series. Well done Bianca Sommerland you have another winner on your hands. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I cannot recommend this book more highly by the exceptionally talented Bianca Sommerland.

Take a chance if you haven't yet read this series, you won't be disappointed.

This series gets better with each book, like, seriously, each book gets better and draws you more and more into the characters. I don't know what it is, or how it happens. Maybe because we get true glimpses and scenes into the lives and relationships of the team, and how it relates and affects our couple. Maybe it is that things seem so real, not written, and everyone seems alive and living in the world, not the book. Whatever it is, I love it and each book, each story, gets better and better for me!

This is Sahara's story, yeah, Dominik is there and important, but she needs this story more than anyone. Like everyone else in the world, we knew this was going to happen, but both Sahara and Dominik needed time. Lots of things happened to them in previous books, so some healing and growth was needed. But their time has finally come, and it was better, it was more, and it was everything that I could ever hope for either of them

This was, in the kinky world spun, a pretty tame and sweet love story. That was what these two needed, they had flash and drama already, they needed something steady and solid. As much as they were to the side before, I loved having them front and centre. They were extremely likable, as well as lovable, and I was rooting for them right from the start

We got some new characters introduced, and some updates from past couples, and some progression from some others. All in all, I am more in love, more invested, and more impressed with this book over any other, and I loved them all!

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads

I am a huge fan of this series - and even seven books in, it has the ability to charm, entice and entertain with strong stories, vivid characters and lots of heart. If you have not read the previous books yet, I would recommend that you do.

Dominik has had his share of difficult decisions to make about relationships, and I was really pleased to see him get another chance. His steadfastness and seriousness - perfectly displayed on the cover - has always made him a key character, both on and off the field. The intensity of this story and the extent to which I wanted it to work ... it was exhausting but exhilarating. The author picked his perfect foil, Sahara, and together things heat up in a most demanding way.

There are of course also snippets of other old friends' lives from the series, which is always good, and new ones introduced, which mean that Ms Sommerland is hopefully busy writing - to give us some more from the Cobras.

I fell in love with the Dartmouth Cobras last year when I stumbled across Game Misconduct, the first book in the series. Never realizing how much I would fall in love with these characters. You'd think after six books that the next one would be stale, or lose some of the magic behind it. Well Bianca Sommeralnd defintely didn't let that happen in Goal Line. Dominik and Sahara have both been through so much, they've loved and lost only to somehow never quite find each other in the shuffle. Bianca wasn't about to let that happen to these two though and in Goal Line we finally get to see that the anticipation was well worth the wait. Watching Sahara battle her demons and win, while watching Dominik find the balance he's been needing, was amazing. I laughed, I cried, I even wanted to throw my kindle and scream that's how sucked in you get with this series and I love it. I'm excited to see where the next book will take us in the lives of these men and women.

Not sure what to say

Let me start by saying I have been waiting forever for Mason story to be written and I will be honest this book was a huge let down for me. While I am not knocking the author, this book did not live up to my expectation. The relationship between Mason and Sahara felt rushed and really did not get the time to develop like other relationships in the series.

I loved it but....

I have had this complaint for the whole series, I am still reading it but it still keeps me from fully enjoying it and it still confuses me and I'm not stupid so other people have to have had the same problem. The author uses the first and last names for the players and bounces back and forth between calling them that. I can remember that Dominik is Dominik but when she calls him Mason I get confused and forget what player she is talking about and I have read all 7 books! I have read other hockey series and never had this problem so the other authors get around it somehow.
In this book Sahara, a member of the Cobra Ice girls dance team is having problems with her ex who she left because he was abusive, he is in town because his team is playing the Cobras in the nex round of the playoffs. He claims that he has changed and she is about to agree to be friends when it appears he breaks into her apartment and vandalizes it when she finds him there he assaults her and gets arrested. After hiding out for a little while she goes and stays with Dominik the captain of the Cobras, hoping to train as a sub with him but a relationship begins

I'm glad to finally see Dominick get his HEA! He has been a strong supporting character throughout the series, helping teammates and just friends in so many different ways! I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to the next book even more than the last book. Mason may have been between the two books I've been looking forward to the most, but that doesn't mean he was just filled for me. He's just as important to me as he is to any of the Cobras!!!

Standalone but part of a series with repeating characters.
The story started out slow. Sahara starts out one way, takes a detour and ends up back where she started. There was actually not a lot of scenes between Dominic and Sahara, so I felt a little let down. Others stories in the book invoked Dominic’s brother, Raif, the new kid & his family, Pischlar & White. Because of all the other stuff going on in the book, I felt Dominic and Sahara’s story had no depth and was cut short.

Sahara & Dominick

Great love story. Sahara recovering from the mess with Grant. Dominick from the mess with his relationship with Oriana ending. They find each other & begin what looks like something to hold onto.

I love this Series & all the backstory continuing along. We don't loose contact with the rest of the players & their girls & guys! It Rocks!!

Enjoy!!

Honestly I put off reading this one because I was never crazy about Sahara, I also didn’t do a re-read for that reason hoping to not be irritated with her before starting. Also Mason kind of irritated me with how he had treated Sloan previously, so I was still ticked with him a little but also sad for him.

Needless to say I wasn’t impressed with Sahara in this one either most of the time, she did get better for me though. I am not crazy about all the scenes she has been involved in with other guys in this series, not to mention pining after Keane. I guess I just kind of have the green eyed monster thing and think she needs to, um, back off. lol! (This trait of mine is why I was very happy to read that there are several of these couples or polys that no longer share outside of their relationship, even so far as staying out of the club. I liked that a lot.)

I also wasn’t too impressed with Mason over the date thing so they both annoyed me right off the bat in this one. I was glad he went for Sloan but leaving Sahara like that was not cool. Then I was right back to being annoyed with Sahara for clinging to Pisch, so I was over my irritation at Mason much faster….I did like their story in the end though, it’s just not one of my favorites.

I actually liked catching up with some of the other guys in this one more than the MCs story. Well everyone other than Silver, still hate her. Oh and Jami royally pissed me off with the whole taking Sam’s side over Luke’s. I wanted to slap the shit out of her, you never ever let someone like that twat come between you and your man/men. She’s a worthless thief and not someone I would allow to live in my house and Jami is the one forcing her on Luke and Seb, just not digging Jami after her behavior in this one.

Honestly though some of the scenes with two certain guys were the best ones for me, well other than the one with Sahara but hopefully there will be more of those two soon….

I really liked this one though, my one biggest complaint would actually be that the issues with the previous MC’s were almost all too big and there were so many of them. I mean Oriana’s sorry ass father coming in after the other issue, Jami being an idiot over Sam and causing problems with Luke and Seb, what happened to Raif and what was going on at the game with Jami and Sam…and nothing was resolved. It was full of big issues that left me worrying about the future of these guys that should be having a HEA and their only worries are what color toothbrushes they buy. Needless to say I will be patiently waiting on the next book, or maybe not so patiently but waiting any way….

I’ve read the first part of this series and loved it. It just hit every button I didn’t even know I had. LOL This book is no exception because I have wondered what would happen with Dominik. I love the hockey thrown in because it just makes all the guys hotter to me personally. Who doesn’t like an athletic guy who also happens to be a Dom? Not this girl!
moreThere is so much intertwining of the previous books that it would probably be hard for someone to read this book if they hadn’t read the other books first. This is not a hardship as all of the books in this series are pretty dang good in my opinion.
Dominik says he isn't looking for a relationship or a submissive but I think differently. Sahara just got out of a abusive relationship and the guy makes an appearance in this book which leads to more issues even though she is willing to forgive him. I love the interaction of these two characters and how the books turns out in the end. I will definitely be reading the next book if there is one!

I have read every book in this series & I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed in any of them, this one included!!!

Sahara Dionne has been through a lot. She is finally getting her life on track. Her roommates have both moved out to be with their men, things are going great with the Cobra's Ice Girls, and the team is in the playoffs!!! The one bad thing is who the Cobra's are playing, the New York Islander's. Her ex's team. Knowing he's in town has her on edge. When he shows up at her place asking for her forgiveness she's ready to give him the benefit of the doubt but she will never really trust him again. Will she regret even trying to be his friend? Has he really changed?

Dominick Mason has moved on after the failure of his relationship with Oriana. She has everything she needs, it's time for him to find what he needs. He's not even sure if he still wants to be in the life, he's tired of never having anyone to call his own. He thinks that just might be Sahara, but when they finally go out on a real date & he gets called away when Oriana ends up in the hospital he handles things badly & thinks that maybe it just isn't their time.

Will Sahara & Dominick find there way to each other? Can they each give the other what they need? Can the team make it into the next round or will there be too many distractions. Oh, & let us not forget Pischlar & White! What is going on with them?

Thank you once again, Bianca Sommerland, for giving your fans an absolutely fantastic book!!!

I was so excited to read Goal Line. Finally Dominik got his story told and Sahara was the perfect match for him! I absolutely loved that it took time for them to build this relationship. They've been friends for a while and both been hurt before. An instant jump in bed, we love each other would never have worked for them, they both needed to be sure what they were working for would last. Sahara giving her former boyfriend a chance at being her friend was right on. Everyone wants to believe someone can change, huge kudos for Cort's response to that and Jami's as well.

I loved...LOVED seeing the characters from the previous books weaved in as their relationships continue to grow, the author has weaved the Cobras into our lives, making us hunger to see what they are all up to. I was sad at what happened to one of my favorite Cobras but at the same time, it gives the series more realism and from getting to know him in the books, I know he is the one who will end up stronger in the end.

This book is filled with emotion. I cried my eyes out at one point, laughed in others, held my breath for some of it. The book was well written from start to finish, leaving me feeling all happy, waiting for the next one, to see how Dominik and Sahara's lives continue. This is one of those series I never want to end. I'll be waiting like a kid waiting for Christmas to open presents, waiting for the next one, to see ALL the Cobras and what they are up to next!

If your favorite part of reading series is revisiting characters that you love, you are going to love The Dartmouth Cobras. Not only do they return with each novel, but they get hot steamy scenes. As the series follows the men of the hockey team and the people they love through the hardships of life both on and off the ice, you build a loving interest in all the players, cheering them on. Goal Line allows for several stories to move forward, such as White and Pishler, Oriana/Max/Sloane, and Jami/Luke/Sebastian. We see team changes with players coming and leaving. The focus of Goal Line the team captain Dominik's decision to take a chance at a relationship with Sahara. We've seen these characters before, but neither was in a place to take a risk. Both come into book 7 haunted by their ex's. If they can just get past all the drama, to a place where only the 2 of them exist, they just might have a chance. Fans of the series will love this new installment. New readers to the series will quickly catch on (the hardest part is the sports practice of calling people by any of 3 different names: first/last/nickname). The sex is hot enough to melt the hockey arena, so step up and become a puck bunny!

Oh my gosh my fav was seeing all the characters again. I loved all the previous books. I have to admit Captain Dominik Mason has always been my fav. If you've been following you remember him in Game Misconduct and the painful breakup in Offside. I have always wanted his happiness. I love everything about him. He's always wanted the best for everyone through his own pain.

This book was about Dominik Mason the caption of the Dartmouth Cobra hockey team and Sahara Dionne, the alternate caption for the Cobras Ice a girls. I didn't to much for Sara. She seem high maintenance. But she was actually great Dominik.

A new character Heath Ladd which seems very young. The surprise was he parents had died and he had to take of his young brother and sister. Which so much joy to the players. I hope to see how that turns out.

In this book you will fall in love with Dominik over and over again. So many emotions. First I have to say the scene when their parents was met great for me. Just love Dominik's mother. I was really shocked the the book just ending. There was no cliffhanger. It just ended. I do really want more. You won't be disappointed.

I have loved Dominik from the very beginning of this series and after all the heartbreak that he has been through I couldn't wait for him to find someone to share his life with. In this part of his story, Dom is still reeling from his loss and has basically been marking time until Sahara comes back into his sights. Sahara longs for him to go all scorching hot bossy man on her, but at the same time she worries that she can't possibly be who he really wants. I so enjoyed watching them fall for each other. I wanted so much for Dom to be able to let go of that past that still had a hold on him and to move on to find his own love story. I really liked Sahara for him. Once again Bianca wrote an incredible story for one of her Cobras. She hooked me in from the very first page and I couldn't put it down until the very last one. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I give Goal Line 4 hearts!

I am so pleased that this book is about Dominik Mason! He's a man figuring out just what he wants out of his life. Enter Sarah, who is a sub, she thinks, and is finally over her mad crush on the Cobras' owner. Dominik isn't sure he wants to be in the lifestyle any more, and he is sure he no longer wants to train subs, so just what DOES he want? Sahara is still reeling over the Grant debacle, and he's not quite done with her yet. Of course, none of the guys will allow her to be harmed, but will their protective instincts be misconstrued?

So, will Dominik and Sahara be able to put their respective pasts behind them? Or will all of the stressors and baggage be too much for this prospective couple to overcome? Will Dominik really give up being a Dom (hah, and can Sahara find peace in her submission?

I am such a fan of the author and this series. I'm very much looking forward to the next book, sometime in 2016!

I absolutely love this series. Whenever I read one of The Dartmouth Cobras' books, I just want to keep going and going and going. I don't want the book to end. I love how all the previous books' characters appear in each book. I love the camaraderie of the players and how accepting they all are of one another.
This story is Dominik and Sahara's. Dominik and Sahara have had feelings for each other for a while, but Dominik was still dealing with his feelings after the end of his relationship with Oriana and didn't feel ready to start anything new. And Saraha was healing both physically and emotionally after coming out of an abusive relationship. But in this story, the time is right for both of them to start looking to their future.
The only thing I have trouble with regarding these books, is having to wait until the next one. I just finished the book and yet I miss they guys already.

Another solid installment in the Dartmouth Cobras series. It's nice to see Dominik and Sahara get their story, with both of them having the opportunity to move beyond their pasts. The book also introduces another new player, Heath Ladd, who is certain to continue to figure into future storylines.

This series is one with many interrelated characters, and it definitely helps to read it in order. One thing that sets this series apart from many others is that relationships continue to evolve; getting your HEA doesn't mean that there aren't still challenges ahead. While those challenges aren't the focus of the current story, you get to see the ongoing lives of other characters you've come to care about unfold, and not always in a roses-and-sunshine kind of way. It lends an authenticity to the world of the Cobras that I appreciate.
